Mashyuu had been set up on a blind date with a woman he had never met before. The pair were to meet at the Rose Garden for charity. Folks from Fiore bid on pairings to get the Wizards together while all the jewels donated were sent to help towns recover in times of crisis from various Dark Wizards. The only condition was the pair on the date had to carry a special magic item that recorded their encounter.

Sitting in the Rose Garden, Mashyuu was dressed in a brown two piece suit with his mothers one sleeved jacket resting on the back of a solid oak chair. His brown hair was normally spiked up but tonight it rested down in a bowl fashion. His date was supposed to know him based on the small red flower placed in the pocket of his suit jacket.

Blue eyes scanned the Rose Garden where men and women walked together over paved pathways that had beautiful flower arrangements bordering the walkways that led to other parts of the park. Tall walls of flowers held lights that went into patterns of flowers.

The table Mashyuu sat at had three candles resting on a cloth of white silk. Glasses of red whine sat at the corner of each half of the table and a waiter waited at the table for Mashyuu's blind date to arrive.

I WASTED MY TIME 'TIL TIME WASTED ME

    519 words for mashyuu
    lets get this started!

    This was ridiculous.

Of all the things that were to happen, mainly concerning her current situation, it would have never been thought that she were to be tangled up in something as irrelevant as a blind date. After a stranger: pleaded for her to take somebody else's place, especially seeing as though it was for a charity, she found herself later being tossed from one location to the next. Previous outfit gone, usual locks styled up into an all to perfect bun, a temptation to remove the additional heels now placed on her feet was like an itch she could not reach. If her boots had still been with her, she might have reached her location by now. Or was it a classic to arrive late? There was to much inexperience in this subject to find an immediate answer.

Further off, where the main attraction of Rose Garden stood in shrubs, flowers and dazzling lights: ocean blues scanned over the many couples that wandered back and forth, seeking one thing only. A small red flower in the pocket of a jacket. It was the only clue she had to finding this individual, and so far there were a lot of young men with flowers tucked into the pocket of their coats, none of them yet being red - surprisingly. Continuing to trudge onward, the central part of the garden coming into view, a slightly secluded area captured her attention. With a table lit by candles, and man waiting in his lonesome, only one thing crossed her mind as she approached this scene awkwardly in heels.

"How cliché." her voice hummed out almost delicately, the waiter startled by her presence as he gestured towards the empty seat. Wine was scattered across the surface, scare of any food as she took her place on the single arm-chair: which was oddly comfortable. Slender finders extended to urge back a misplaced strand, poking out from the locks that were all firmly tied together. "This is almost all to perfect. I wonder if I'm even in the right place. It's like I've been brought into some sort of fairy tale." peering up at the stranger across the table, elbow kneaded into the solid structure, chin resting in the palm of her hand, captivating irises observed the young man for a few seconds before speaking once more, "May I ask your name?" it was hard to fathom what she was thinking of, nor' feeling at this very moment, features posed in their usual stoic fashion.

Socially awkward, and commonly blank-faced; Natsu was a woman of very few words. Although her mind produced many thoughts, and possible actions, she could never once take advantage with the fact she might grow to close to just about anybody. There was a fear with exposing every truth that lay with her, and that was something she was not ready to let go of just yet. Of course, that topic was different with just about anybody. But for now, friends would stay as no more than friends. Faces she knew and voices she recognized. Nothing more, and nothing less.

ALL I ASK OF YOU IS BELIEVE
    PHARAOH LEAP.

Mashyuu saw her the moment she came into the room. His jaw almost went slack as Natsu entered the small room like opening. He couldn't help but crack a smirk as she walked up on heels. It looked like she didn't wear them often, let alone dress up the way she was. Still she has a certain grace to her movements. As she sat down, Mashyuu stood up and waited for her to sit before sitting down with her.

While she looked over his features, he couldn't help but stare back at her until she broke the silence with a comment about how perfect everything seemed. "Yeah... I keep expecting for some terribly strong Dark Wizard to come in and rip the place apart... Again." Mashyuu chuckled lightly.

The moment she asked his name Mashyuu blushed a deep red for a moment. "Oh. I'm so sorry, how rude of me. I'm Mashyuu. If you don't want to be here you don't have to give me a name. We can just eat and you can run off if you want. To be honest I wasn't exactly looking forward to doing this. But I'm glad you showed up. This would have been very awkward if I was alone." Mashyuu admitted.

It wasn't until then that Mashyuu realized that a tall slender man was standing with a pad of paper and a pen in his hand. His sharp blue eyes darted up to the man and lightly licked his lips. "I think just a salad with some light dressing please." Mashyuu stated as the man jotted down Mashyuu's order then looked over at Natsu. Once he had her order he vanished and Mashyuu turned his attention back to her. "So your a Wizard.... What kind of Magic do you use?"
