Samael is a quiet individual, an introverted and reflective soul. He does not speak unless spoken to, nor does he speak without thinking first. The outcome of this patient approach to socializing is often a witty remark, or wise saying. Even then, his responses are short. His voice is soft, almost fragile, as if he is shy. His quietness often sets him apart. His elders often said that he would grow up to be "the strong, silent type". He is a thinker, not in the battle sense, but philosophical, due to the teachings that the monks of the Monastary instilled in him. He’s polite and even gracious, particularly to people who treat him with respect. Those who do not treat him this way or those who insult him should know he will not hesitate to spit words of venom and bile in response and, when necessary, punch out a few teeth.

Samael takes his training seriously. There have been many a time that he's gone out to train in the morning and not returned until well after sunset. While not power-hungry like most of his kin, he does believe in pushing himself past his limits. He lives by the philosiphy of "If you place limits on yourself, then they will spread over into the rest of your life. There are no limits; hard work pays off -- you get what you put in. So why stop?" Samael will try his best to train with multiple partners, just to increase his effectiveness in battle against different styles. He often practices magic and spell combinations for hours on end, simply because he wishes to use them to thier most effective potential i.e, practicing a spell to the point that he no longer needs to speak the spell's name to perform it.

In combat, Samael tends to remain silent under the motto 'I'm not here to talk with you. If I am sent to the front line, then my orders are clear: I am to end your life by any means necesary, even if it costs me my own." In his eyes, the people who boast in battle annoy him greatly, often to the point of him breaking his code of silence to scream at them to shut up and let thier skills do the talking. In battle, he often forgos speaking a spells's name, just to throw his opponent's off balance or even weaving false seals to confuse an opponent.

Samael is a habitual collector, often saving items he takes from enemy as 'memories.' On his days off, he will take to browsing local weapon stalls, watching the blacksmith work with the hammer and anvil to fashion out new weapons. He's come to know the blacksmiths by name, and often volunteers to field-test their creations in exchange for a small discount on the item if he chooses to purchase it.

Samael, like most members of his clan, are warriors to the core. He feels that his place is on the battlefield, and as such, he enjoys training to better his fighting style. He has no qualms about traveling deeper into his family's homelands to find a place to train alone.
Dislikes: 'I didn't ask for your life story. I didn't even ask you speak. So unless the next words out of your mouth are 'I quit', shut your mouth....'
There are very few things in this world that irk Samael. The first and foremost are braggarts. He personally believes in letting one's reputation proceed them, and allowing your actions to speak loud and clear. However, if someone happens to misinterpret his actions, then that is their problem. Normally, he has no problems with correcting them, he would rather that they figure it out themselves. He finds it rather amusing with the ideas people come up with.

One thing he hates more than braggarts are quitters. Not the people who give it everything that they have, and are no longer able to physically continue; these people he holds in high regards. Its the people who try to do something, and almost immediately quit because it is harder than they imagined it would be. These people piss him off to the point of maddness..
Motivations: 'What motivates me? Pure rage... You need to hate life so much that you reach the point where you want to get revenge on existence itself.'
What motivates someone like Samael? Is it his inner blind rage? Perhaps that spark that ignites in him that makes him want to light anything and everything around him on fire... Or, perhaps it's the idea that the stronger he becomes the more he can do; and the more he can protect those around him that he actually has grown to care about. That's as good as any for a motivator for anyone else, and it works just the same for Samael. The stronger he can get himself the better he will be, and the closer to his goals, whatever those might be at the time, he becomes. So, if that means pushing himself just a little harder than everyone else, or playing just a little bit dirtier than the next person, he'll do it.
Fears: “There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.”
Fear is such a usual state of mind for many creatures; both human and otherwise. But what is there truly to fear that sets it aside so much from other emotions. For Samael this fear is triggered by the idea of losing anyone, or anything, he might have grown to care for. The idea of someone being snatched away from him either easily or not so easily is enough to invoke the sort of rage that you only hear about from bedtime stories of monsters and demons. It's what helps to motivate Samael, in a sense, this almost borderline irrational fear - it's what makes him act so rashly towards those who threaten the people he cares for. But all in all, What is there to fear but fear itself? The idea of failure is nothing to Samael-- it only causes fear in the idea of him being unable to protect those he loves; but even that goes so much deeper than just fear. It becomes a physical pain that manifests a rage beyond comprehension. A rage, that only when it is satisfied and has left him, would indeed leave her as an empty shell of a person. There really can't be anything else listed that Samael fears; given his rather insane qualities that allow him to see past the fears a normal person would have. Even the fear of his own death or an intense amount of pain has little to no hold over him, giving him the ability to charge into a battle without hesitation; even if the odds are stacked highly against him - something that normally instills fear into the hearts of those he is facing off with. Something that tends to cause most to flee in terror, vomit, or otherwise piss themselves when faced with it.

This mask is whitish-tan with red, Japanese style, flame-like symbols decorating the front, brown beast-like-ear pieces of cloth on the top of both sides, and two slits on each side, presumably to allow for vision
Samael wears a long-sleeved black trench coat with slit sleeves and more red designs and a white symbol on the left side. His trench coat is red on the inside with red flame-like accents at the bottom and a large emblem on the back, with a white tulip design covered by a red rose design.
He wears long black pants and black shoes that are red on the bottom, and black gloves with more red emblems on their forehand, appearing to be a variant of the Greek letter Ω (Omega), the last letter in the Greek alphabet.
