Today was hotter than any normal day. Granted, he was in in a desert, but still, it was crazy hot
for that day.Today, he sent sent to the desert on work, he had to find a group or something of previous villagers. When he rode in on Ruin earlier into the village, he got looks, as suspected. He went around town, asking if anybody has seen the group of missing people, when at the end, he was disappointed to find out that nobody has seen the missing group. That means he was going into this mission blindly, which was never a good idea, but a risk he would have to take.

After roaming throughout the city on horseback, he was able to get some info on what he was searching for, but also got the basic info from the job description. So the group he was looking for was a caravan that have gotten themselves lost in the desert. They were supposed to reach the village, but never did. That gave him a general place to look for the people that were needed to complete the quest. He just had to go wonder around the desert for a while until he found them, and then he had to bring them back. And with that info, he set out.

Departure was the only easy part throughout this whole job, now next up was the search for the people he sought out for. The heat was beating down on him as he trotted through the wasteland on top of Ruin. Even Ruin was starting to be overwhelmed by the heat, as she has started to move even slower than normal. They were both sweating heavily, leaving wet sand in their tracks.

"Looks like we've got quite a journey ahead of us, eh?"

Instead of talking like she normally does, she made noises like a normal horse would.

As he was trotting through the desert he kept an eye out for something. This special something was a rare thing in the desert, though said that if you find one, it will give you good luck. So, here we are again, doing the same search, but this time, there was the occasional tumbleweed that wold roll by the, and the occasional lizard would also pop up. Every now and then, he would wonder to himself: Why did I take this job again? He wasn't that desperate for money, and there were plenty of jobs on the Job board, so why this one?

After hours of aimlessly wandering around the desert he had come across something that actually got him a lead on the caravaan. In the sand was a set of footprints, and a piece of cloth. The cloth was probably part of a banner or something from the caravaan, and the footprints seemed to lead in an odd direction, as there was no noticiable pattern from them, so he decided to follow them and see where they would end up, and hopefully he would find his objective.

Now determined to find the caravan, Kazyto has set out at a faster pace than he first started off with, with his determination fueling him. He passed by the wreckage of what had seemed to be the caravan, though he couldn't have been sure, as there wasn't much of it, nor did it look like a material that a caravan would normally be built out of, as this seemed like metal of some sort. He trotted past the debris in search of either another village or the caravan.

After a few minutes from passing the debris, he had finally found the caravan. This caravan was somewhat intact, with various scratches and it was missing a couple of pieces of wood. The caravan had stopped, and was surrounded by a group of people, with boxes scattered all it. He had pulled up to the stranded group.
"Hello. My name is Kazyto. I was sent here to help you guys out. I'm a mage from Fairy Tail, follow me, I'm gonna get you back to the village."

The people didn't seem to answer, though one of them had nodded. Kazyto then began to lift up and carry all of the boxes that were scattered around. None of the people offered up help, though he was fine byy himself, and finished cleaning up in about 15 minutes. "Okay, ready to go. Follow me." The people followed his orders, acting lifeless as they did it. He trotted back the way he had came, with the caravan following close behind him. They should be back in an hour or so, if there were no obstacles in their way.

As expected the way back wasn't as treacherous as the there, as they had the footprints to follow. The people not talking was somewhat creepy, though if he didn't think about it for too long nor look back at them he would be fine, until one of them had begun to speak, which was the first words he has heard from this group, ever.
"W-why? Why did you help us? We were stranded for a few days now, we thought nobody would come and find us." The voice came from a little girl, who was all the way in the back of the caravan.

"Why? Cause I'm a mage, and we mages are here to protect those in need." He puts his hand behind his head and scratches his neck. "I know, that was kinda cheesey, but it's the truth." He sends a smile over to the little girl, who seemed to be crying. It looks as if the kid had lost all hope while she was lost. They were nearing the village, as they saw it in the distance, when Kazyto pulled Ruin over the the side of the caravan and ruffled the girl's hair. "It's alright. Your safe now." He followed t hem all the way to the village and saw them off, then headed his way back to the Guild Hall.
