Strange Vulcans!

There they were, a group of of the most annoying beasts known to man. Vulcans, ape like creatures who's only life goal seemed to be to pester and bully unlucky travelers. And when in groups even entire villages.

They'd scare livestock, meaninglessly destroy carts and fences and even have the guts to your food right from the table you sit to. But most annoyingly of all... they were loud. So very, very loud. Enough so for every Savage Skull mage to hear them wandering through the Spooky Forest.

Somehow, and someway a group of these vulcans who have been pestering some of the unlucky villages that had found their home near the Spooky Forest. Where foolish enough to venture deeper into the woods, which off course meant they'd walked right into the crosshairs of the darkest of guilds, namely Savage Skull. A guild so vile that didn't tolerated any intruders, even if it were some mere beasts.

So they dispatched the most unlikely of member to deal with the situation, namely Viktor. R. Albeit, the household servant of the guild. A man with an enigmatic and rather conflicting presence in the guild due to his relentless kindness he seems to show the other members.

He was old, very old even. Old enough for others to question why such a man was still serving the guild in the first place. In fact it was a question that many of the members had asked themselves by now, a frequent topic for when ever the old timer walked passed them in the endless forgotten halls of Savage Skull.

Yet no one had ever shown to courage to ask that very question, because as many very well knew that old age was a rare occurrence in a guild such as this. In fact to them Viktor was definitely the only one to show any real signs of old age. An seeing that most members don't even reach such an age, they could only wonder how this man had managed to live through all the horror and bloodshed that guild was known for.

But now here he was, standing in the forest. Watching and stalking the creatures known as Vulcans through the thick woods. Well not that they made it hard for the old man, as the Vulcans were so loud. And left behind a trail so easily that even a toddler could have found them in these endless woodlands.

'Monster Dice' :

There were about ten of those despicable beings, each of them twice the size of Viktor himself. Yet somehow the old man still appeared unhinged and unbothered at the sight of the large beasts. In fact he was even smiling, knowing that even though these beasts, these vulcans came in numbers. They still weren't a match for a member of Savage Skull. Especially when it was a member as him.

He could take them on, right here and now. Viktor knew that, he didn't even had to cook up a plan. Like trying to pick them off one by one. No he simply could just charge in, striking the first one from behind, cutting through the muscles in his legs. Severing the strength it could put out, and force it down. From there on out he could easily use the falling body as a step up to immediately jump up and strike the closest one in the neck. Just slashing through it, instantly decapitating him.

Viktor dashed forwards, away from the safe confines of the bushes and straight into danger. Doing exactly what he planned to do, first he approached the unsuspecting Vulcan that was closest to him, who still was facing the butler with his back. Making him vulnerable. With a simple slash from an unsheathed sword, Viktro would cut through the Achilles Tendon of the beast. Forcing it to let out a scream of pain as it fell to the ground. Unable to stand up again.

With one foot set on the already falling body of his first victim, Viktor would do exactly as planned and used it as a stepping stone, to launching himself towards a bigger height. Not that he could jump over ten meters into the air or something like that, but just high enough for him to easily reach the next Vulcans neck.

With a strong and perfect strike from the sword the old man carried, he would sever the ape's head from the rest of its body. A clean strike, with accurate precision as the cut was perfectly lined and the blade of the sword itself wasn't clad with blood at all.

Viktor landed on the ground again, while next to him. The second body finally fell towards the ground, like a straw doll. Lifeless.
The remaining eight Vulcans, well nine if you counted the one who couldn't walk anymore. Finally realized what was going on, and as they turned around to whom their assailant was, they appeared to be a bit dumbfounded. There in front of them, was a single person. An old one even. Yet somehow, someway, he'd managed to take down two creatures twice his size.

'Well then, that makes one I guess' he said, smiling so ever gently'

It was an intimidating sight for sure, a group of eight Vulcans. Each of them standing at least two meters tall. All shaped like an gorilla, with biceps larger then Viktor himself. Luckily these creatures weren't the smartest of bunch, if so a situation like this could have been quite problematic. Sure they showed some slightest of intellects, when it was about stealing food, then a Vulcan was quite adept. But if it really came down to it, then it would show that these creatures were nothing more then silly simple monkeys.

The Vulcan now closest to Viktor lunged at him in anger, throwing his giant hand into a fist at the old man. Yet the attack was clumsy as it was slow, making it very easy for the old timer to avoid by just turning aside.

The arm passed him, and at that moment Viktor attack again. As an stretched out arm was the easiest of targets. Especially when it was now right in front of him.
With another clean cut, Viktor would slash his swords straight through the arm of the creature. The arm would fall down, and the Vulcan stared at it for a moment. Back and forth, form the severed part to where it used to be attached on. It throbbed for a second, just a mere moment. And the moment the pain sinked in the creature screamed it out. Right at the moment the blood would be pulsed through the veins and sprayed around through the fresh opening.

The Vulcan fell down back wards, grabbing his open wound with his other hand. Not that it would help it from bleeding out to death.

In the wake of that monkeys demise, two others immediately took its place, one who immediately launched an attack. By have both his arms raised, and his hands knotted together in one giant fist. Only to have it swing down like some sort of sledgehammer.

From the other direction, the other Vulcan attacked as well. Just a simple punch. Straight forward and easily predictable. In fact this entire ordeal showed the idiocy and simplemindedness of these creatures.

As the first attack came slamming down on the ground, just where Viktor used to be. The old man revealed a certain nimbleness that wasn't according with his age. By simply stepping back, the household butler of the dark guild. Evaded the incoming attack, yet immediately he jumped upon the two large fists.
This would the aim of the other attack become higher, and still directed at him. But also unavoidable, for the other Vulcan. With a simple duck, Viktor manage to evade the incoming fist and feel it swoosh over him. But also hitting the other Vulcan straight in the face.

Dazed by the impact straight into its snout, the Vulcan would be seen slightly confused. Trying to keep itself standing, as it looked a bit sleep drunk. As if it had to wake up abruptly.

The other Vulcan, the one that hit him, was the next receiver of the old man's wrath. The moment the fist had flown over him and struck the stupid creature. Was also the moment, Viktor attack the attacking beast. Quickly he turned his sword around, and without looking he pierced it through the large wrist of the beast.

It bellowed in pain, and immediately started shaking that very arm around. Swinging it above his head, with the sword still stuck in it, and along, Viktor, holding on the heft of the sword.
Yet when high enough, Viktor set off against the for arm with his feed. Pushing himself upwards with some force, while still holding on to the sword. Which would cleave its way all the way through the arm until it made its escape from the fleshy confines through the beasts hand.

Viktor flew through the air, all the way over to the other Vulcan who was still dazed from the punch straight into the face. And when he was right above it, and about to land on the creature as well. Viktor aimed the sword down wards. Using the force of being thrown into the air, as well as the extra weight of his own body. As an extra catalyst for thrusting the sword through the creatures thick skull. Instantly killing it.

Pulling out the sword from the top of the Vulcans head, Viktor also made a simultaneous backflip. Giving him the extra pull, but also making sure he didn't fell down with the giant lump of dead meat that was the Vulcan.

The remaining five Vulcans, six in one would count the one still unable to walk again, now stared at the old man. A bit more cautiously, not really sure what to do next. Should they attack? Should they run? Or should they just keep standing there. The Vulcans brain wasn't able to comprehend what was going on, or to be more exact. Not being able to comprehend why a single person was able to do all this.

Viktor on the other hand didn't waste any more time, and decided to run straight towards the pack of apes.
Within that same moment of dashing towards his enemy, Viktor threw his sword at the enemy in front of him. Just like an assassin could throw a dagger, only this time it was an entire sword, that would pierce itself through the front chest of a Vulcan. Penetrating it all the way through his heart. Killing it on sight.

In a following moment, Viktor would jump against the Vulcan. Forcing his body to fall down back wards while he would pull out the sword at the same time.

With the sword pulled out of the body, Viktor would also jump up in the sky again. Avoiding a fist that would land straight to where he was standing. But also creating a connection for him to attack yet another Vulcan.

As if the arm was an actual bridge, Viktor would ran upwards towards the Vulcan attached at the end of it. His sword pulled backwards a bit, ready to plunge forwards, straight into the face of the beast.

Yet the moment he was about to strike, another Vulcan entered the fray. Showing once again the stupidness of these creatures. Instead of grabbing for Viktor, or slamming at it. The other Vulcan decided it was a good idea to try and grapple tackle the old man. But in doing so, he would take along with him the very Vulcan Viktor was standing on. While the butler himself, just easily jumped up into the air and land onto the ground. While the two Vulcans ended up tangled into each other.

Either way, those two were now temporary engaged, leaving Viktor with only two more remaining. One of which also decided to go on the direct offensive. It lunged forwards, by making a large jump and ending up right in front of Viktor.

He attacked, yet Viktor knew exactly what was going to happen. It was another attack, a fist that was going straight for him. Or so he thought. As Viktor jumped away, he noticed something strange. The fist or at least the impact of the fist, wasn't exactly where he was standing, no instead it was a quarter inch away from the old man's original place.

Then there was movement from his left, to other Vulcan of the two. Had circled around quickly and threw a fist at the man.

'How unexpected!' Viktor said, fairly amused. As if he found thrill in the sudden show of intelligence.

Viktor raised his sword, with one of the flat sides aimed at the incoming fist. His other hand, which was free he instantly placed near the top of the sword. And just in time. The fist collided with the blade, sending a vibrating wave all the way through Viktors arm. Yet it didn't break, no instead the blade hold its ground, supported by Viktors own strength to defend himself against the attack.

And as he looked in front, he could see the first Vulcan smiling devilishly. It seems that there where such things as smart Vulcans.

It attacked again, similar to a previous attack. Both his arms raised, his hands knotted together to create a single larger fist, which would have increased impact. And like a sledge hammer it come down, right to where Viktor was standing and still defending himself against the Vulcan that had attacked him from the left.

In the knick of time, he'd managed to evade. Just by jumping back a bit. Yet even though the evasion was so simple, it didn't mean it was planned.
Just now, these Vulcans, these monkeys had shown to be at least capable to surprise the old timer a bit. Which made the man even more excited.

Was this it? Was this the thrill he had longed for again? This hunt? The predicaments that came with it? Oh he had been stalemate for so long now, ever since he became nothing more then the household servant of Savage Skull. Yet now he got an answer he had been asking himself for so long now. Yes he was old... yet he was far from being burned up. No he still got fight left in him, just as he used to have when he was younger. He just had to cultivate it again, maybe even he did. He could have a momentarily taste of his real power again. Even if it was for just a short time.

The battle continued, Viktor who had jumped back a bit. Carefully assessed his enemies. To his left was the Vulcan who attack him from an unseen angle. At least unseen till it was mostly to late. In his front was the Vulcan who had laid out these chain events. And behind him, two more Vulcans, still entangled within each other. Having surprisingly more difficult in standing up then what you would expect from an ape like creature... Oh and further down the back. The Vulcan still sobbing in pain, the one with the muscles in both its legs torn apart. Shredded so, that he couldn't walk anymore.

Yet Viktor was done playing around, done outsmarting them in flashy moves. And using their attacks against them. No he wanted to finish this properly, or at least the last two that attacked him. As they have shown to have earned such a treatment.

He dashed forwards again. Ran passed the Vulcan from the left, who tried to slam his entire hand into Viktor. Who in turn just simply slashed a path through it. A single cleave that separated the hand in two halves.

His movement didn't stop, no he was going straight for the Vulcan that had managed to push him back. Without delay, without second guessing. Viktor was going to end it in one fell swoop.

It tried to attack. A short barrage of fist trying to hit Viktor, but it only managed to hit the dust the old man left behind. Till the moment Viktor arrived at the beast.

It was as if for a moment time would stand still, Viktor who would look straight into the Vulcan's eyes. A beast who was rather surprised at the old man standing so close. A beast who was frightened at the sudden show of power. And Viktor, who looked as stoic as ever, his face normal. Unchanged, his mouth still curled up in that gentle smile.

The time moved on again. Viktor's sword would slash upwards. All the way into the creatures crotch, until it left the body through the creatures right shoulder. Cleaving the Vulcan literally in two different parts.

It blinked for second, trying to comprehend one last time what just happened. Just before it fell apart, with his intestines falling out from each side.

Viktor didn't stopped there, no immediately turned around. A like a ballerina, but with his sword already aimed at an attack coming from behind. Another fist, from the Vulcan he had hurt earlier. The one with the separated hand. Apparently it tried to ignore his pain and decided to take out Viktor with his remaining, working fist.

Only it would met with the old mans sword.

With all his strength, Viktor would slash straight into that very fist, cleaving through it in a horizontal manner.

The Vulcan let out scream of pain, as it raised to two messy flaps what used to be his arms. His head turning from one arm to the other, while in the meantime in fell down on its knees.

In that moment, Viktor would end that very screaming. As he plunged his sword forwards, straight through the mouth of the beast. Slightly upwards, so that it would pierce through the jaws it self, and into the brain. And eventually break through the back of his skull, and reappear at the other side of the creatures head.

An angry roar suddenly appeared from behind Viktor, which reminded him of something.

'Ah yes... you two should have gotten up by now.'

As Viktor said that out loud, the large silhouettes of the two Vulcans appeared behind him. The Vulcans who up till now were tangled into each other. Dazed from the large bodies colliding, when one of them decided to grapple tackle Viktor earlier, yet so obviously missed him.

'But not to worry, I won't be dealing with the two of you'

As he said that, the two beast were taking away from behind him. By two another silhouettes.

As Viktor turned around, it would be revealed that whatever had taken away the two remaining Vulcans. Were nothing else that the ominous hounds of Savage Skull. The Garm, the vile and death scented beings that served as the guilds... well extension? Viktor didn't really knew what they were to the guild. He simply knew they were there, and it served the guild. As long as it provided them with enough prey.

The usual Garm were large in size, equal to a car. Making it difficult opponents to fight with. On top of that, they were surprisingly nimble and fast even, which as sometimes surprising for their size. Maybe in the aspect, the Garm resembled a bear more. As those could achieve quite some speed despite their often jolly and large appearance.

Now these two Garm were special, they were larger and more vile then all the others. Creatures that somehow decided to follow Harrigan Crawford around, the previous guild master of Savage Skull. They were even bigger then the other Garm. And according to man, they were two of the Primordial Garm. Creatures that were there even before the rest of the Garm. Fenrir and Skoll, he had dubbed them. Yet for some reason no, they'd also followed Viktor on several occasions.

With those two now happily chomping down on the Vulcans, Viktor turned around. To the single Vulcan remaining. One that had tried to crawl away, or at least as far as his arms could carry him. As his muscles were slit, making his legs nothing more then two useless sacks of meat.

It was slow, slow enough for Viktor to catch up with it by just walking slowly. Strolling even, as one would do in a park.
The Vulcan looked up at Viktor the moment his shadow casted itself ominously over the creatures head. It looked scared, tried to scream, but didn't even got the chance. As Viktor just simply plunged his sword straight into its head.

'Well, that's that I guess, time to return back to the guild'
