Sabertooth's Mashyuu and Nessy in: Find my Lion Cub!

Job Details::

Just a week after Mashyuu and Nessy met at a small book store the two were paired up to help some poor fool find his lion cub. While the pair didn't walk to the location the cub was last seen together Mashyuu and Nessy were given a location to meet. A tall tree at the edge of the forest surrounding the Serene Cliff was marked with the Sabertooth Guild Symbol and was to be the location that the pair met up at. As of Late Mashyuu had been leaving Rocky out of jobs but that was because the jobs had seemed a little more dangerous. But this job should have been a cake walk so the Earth Elemental was allowed to join Mashyuu.

As it was Mashyuu found the tree hours ago and was currently resting under one of it's large branches, waiting for Nessy to arrive. As usual his dark brown hair was trussed up in a spiked fashion without a strand of hair out of place. His Black jeans might not have been the best choice for a hot location like the Cliff but Mashyuu was so used to the heat that it didn't matter. Over his shoulders rested the one sleeved jacket that his mother died wearing and it was currently zipped up over his white tee shirt. Rocky ran around the tree happily nipping at a local beetle that Mashyuu had never seen before.

His blue eyes scanned the forest for the cub that was supposed to be orange with a light mane of fur. "How the hell do you lose a lion to begin with?" Mashyuu asked himself as his ring warned him of someone approaching. Mashyuu focused and a smile spread over his face. "Nessy! It's good to see you again. Have any problems finding the tree?"

After her little run in with her fellow guild mate Mashyuu, (That she didn't quiet know was even part of the guild) Nessa decided to do a job with him. They were to help some guy find his lost lion cub. She didn't really understand how a grown man can loose a lion cub in the first place but, she shouldn't judge. She once accidentally fell asleep while watching her brother's hamster. It was in the little ball so it was fine once she found it. Nessa didn't have to worry about finding a place to meet Mashyuu, the job already had already told them were to go.

Nessa was on the way to the Cliff but, before she could she had to take her little brother to his school, than drop off some recipes to her aunt for her mother. I swear I should get paid for always doing this, she thought. She was wearing her favorite dark blue top with a light blue pair of jeans. She had her sweatshirt tied around her wast, and sticking out of it was her sword that she always brought with her. It was a gift from her grandfather, and when he died a couple of years ago, she never leaves it anywhere. She was also wearing a pair of sneakers. She was a teenager after all.

After she got her brother dropped off at school, Nessa looked at her watch and saw that she was running late. Dang it, if a hurry I might make it in time before he notices, she thought. She started to jog to her aunt's house not looking to make sure that her brother went into the building like she was supposed to do. Nessa's brother has a tenancy to follower her, it's cute but not when he does it like every other day. She got to her aunt's house, and gave her the recipes. She talked only for a little. "Sorry aunty but I have to get going, good-bye." She looked at her watch again and saw that she was really running late. This time she ran to the meeting place.

She finally saw the tree in site. She ran to it, and saw that Mashyuu was already there. "Sorry I had to do some things for my mother." She heard a sound in the bush near a tree next to them. She ignored it but then it happened again. She quickly jumped in the bush and tackled the culprit. "Junior?! What are you doing here, and why aren't you in school like your supposed to be?!"

Mashyuu was hanging out, sitting against the tree when Nessa came up and apologized for her being late. The Earth Wizard half smiled and waved at her. "You're late... I don't normally tolerate working with late folks. Then again I don't have a family so I'll let it slide this time." Mashyuu said with a grin on his face. It wasn't until he heard the rustling of the bushes that his smile faded. He wasn't going to do anything until he realized that Rocky was sitting next to him. Swiftly Mashyuu kicked off of the tree and started for the moving bush until he saw that a small boy came out of the thick shrub.

The Earth Slayer crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head left and right. "You are aware we are looking for a lion right? We can't watch a kid and make sure to catch a lion unharmed. Someone is going to get hurt." Mashyuu pointed out while walking up to Nessa's side. "I don't want to see someone you care about get harmed, so what are you wanting to do?"

His blue eyes rolled around the forest for any sign of the lion cub. There was always a chance it was lurking about in the taller grass simply playing. If that was the case then Mashyuu could grab it fast and move on before the kid came to any real harm. Alas it seemed that wouldn't be the case and Mashyuu and Nessa would have real work to do. "Rocky, keep the kid safe for now. If anything happens take him back to this tree and we will meet you here got it?" Mashyuu both commanded and asked. Rocky jumped up and yelped it's understanding then ran around the boy, to get his scent just in case.

Nessa looked at her brother seeing him play with the dog. Junior sensing that she was looking at him, looked up slowly and saw that she was very mad with him. "We will talk about this later, do you understand?" Nessa had never had her brother do this before. He had a tendency to follow her around but he had always knew never to follow her to a job. She looked up and saw that Mashyuu had already started looking for the cub. She jogged up so that she could be in stride with him.

"Um, I'm sorry that my little brother came," she said "He likes following me around but, he always knew never to follow me when I'm going to go do a job. I'm really sorry, I know that it seems unprofessional but I promise that I didn't even knew that he had followed me and I'll take full responsibility if this interferes with the job." After she was done she looked to the side to try and keep her disappointment from showing. What was he thinking, she thought.

She stayed by Mashyuu's side for a long time cause she didn't really know the area well. Even though she lived there she had been traveling since she was little so she didn't really come to explore around her own town. She looked around to see if she could see movement anywhere, or at least try to hear the poor cub. How do you lose a cub anyway, she thought. She took a quick glance to Mashyuu to see if he was mad. "Um, do you want to split up to try and cover more ground?" she asked. If he was mad at her she wanted to make sure that at least they got the job done first.

As she waited for Mashyuu's replay, she was still trying to listen for the poor little cub. She could hear the sound of a mother eagle feeding her babies way up in the tree that was about 3 ft. away. She could also her the sounds of other big, and little animals doing their own little thing. The only sound that she couldn't hear though was the sound of that little lion cub. This might be a bit harder if it doesn't make any noises, she thought.
