A Red Rose in the Black Rosebush (Corliss intro, open)

Corliss had heard the rumors of the strange guild founded from the remains of a crime syndicate and was smitten: she had to be a part of this peculiar group, if for no other reason than to say she was. However, she has run head-first into a road block of epic proportions: she couldn't find the guild!

A smile on his face as he danced along with the construction sites. He leaped from the buildings, one at a time, doing what he felt was best for him at the current moment. Just simply having fun. Ignite was not with him this time, she just decided to sleep in. Good thing too, now he did not have to take a job today. However, he would then address the next best thing, a person who seemed to be out of place, and very near the road blocking. It was time to investigate, that was his duty as an Ace after all. Jumping down from one of the shorter buildings, he would hit the ground with nothing to support his fall, and yet he landed so elegantly before bowing formally in front of her. So please do not underestimate my knowledge despite my age. He would announce himself so humbly. It was not that big of a deal to reveal his name and title, no one could really try to hurt him without the whole guild attacking back in the area. And despite him mentioning his age not be a factor for underestimation, this young lady seemed to be younger than he did. And for once, an actual human! Surprisingly enough, those were rare to see in the guild. If she were one, that was one relation he already had, despite how pathetic that sounded.

Poking about aimlessly in what appeared to be a construction area, A young man fell from the sky before Corliss, and introduced himself as Elyx Reiaki, though Corliss didn't quite pay attention to the details of his formal speech, too distracted by the sudden appearance of the graceful figure, who seemed close to her age. This proximity gave way to plenty of distracting thoughts, before Corliss snapped herself out of it, insistent on finding Black Rose before anything else. Before she could ask the gentleman directions to the guild, a new stranger appeared from a dark alleyway. The creature stood, dusted himself off, and directed a question to the young girl before him. "and who do we have here?" Corliss, taken aback by the peculiar sight before her, was reduced to stuttering: "W-well, I'm here to j-join Black Rose. I, uh, I- can you give me directions to the guildhall?"

Turning his head over to the newcomer, he would recognize who it was. The one who did not know about Lilith. It seemed he was going to enter this scenario, but it better not be to babysit Elyx and watch over his actions. He full-well knew what he was doing with the newcomer. This was not going to be an easy ride now, hopefully he not get in the way. Don't worry about anything. He would say before his smile would return to the girl that he had just met. So close to have an actual talk with another human alone in Black Rose. So close! Yet now, extremely far. Nothing close to it at all, in fact, it was just about the opposite.

Elyx could only use words to try to comfort her, never in his life would he touch a lady who was scared to try to comfort her. That was the exact trigger to send them running away. The girl, regaining her composure rapidly, looked from one mage to the other. Her fear and nervousness vanished as quickly as it had appeared, and in its place a note of excitement and thrill took hold. She had run into two Black Rose mages, what luck! Realizing, with a brief note of horror, that she had not introduced herself, and quickly went about correcting this mistake. "I am Corliss Aelle. Elyx, I'd love an escort to the guildhall, thank you so much. I hope you don't mind me asking a few questions about my soon-to-be-guild, I've got a couple."ll girl took a large breath, before babbling out an incoherent list of unimportant questions, such as the type of tile in the guild hall bathrooms, the wallpaper color in the guildmaster's office, who all in the guild was single and/or her age, and anything else she could think of, until she glanced at Marschal Leigh. Immediately shifting gears from her irrelevant questions, she now directed her full attention solely to the peculiar entity. "Uh, not to be rude or anything, but what are you exactly? Sorry, I've just never seen anything like you before."

I'll teleport us towards the Guild Hall. He would explain as he would then pull out a normal key, a D ranked one. Before given the chance to summon the Celestial Spirit in the key, the newcomer would introduce herself to the both of them, mainly to him is what Elyx would like to believe though. Corliss, that is an elegant name. It is a pleasure to meet you. He would explain before then looking down towards the key in his hand. Shifting his light brown eyes towards the other one person among them. Much of him was telling to leave him behind and force him to find his own way to the guild. And then he conscious would kick in once again, and he found himself ready to take the three of them to the Guild Hall. I open the gate of the Chronicle Commander. Come forth, Yuni! He would announce the words that needed to be said in order to summon the spirit forward. A blinding white light would then shine brightly in front of them, the gate had been opened. After a few seconds, the light would disappear before a hooded adorable and shy Celestial Spirit would reveal herself to the group.Hello there... Elyx, may I help you? She would ask as her red eyes would shift towards him, not paying attention to the other two. Yuni believed that only he mattered, and only those he cared about would be worth her attention.

I would like for us to be at the Guild Hall, the center of it preferably. He wold answer to her before gently patting her head. A small chuckle would emit from her lips when she did so, she was not used to having anyone with her positive attention. The Magic Tower back in Yggdra was not so easy, so this was extremely new to her. Yuni would place her palm on the boys forehead, scanning his mind for the Black Rose Guild hall until she then pinpointed it. Her red eyes glowed a little bit brighter before the groups bodies would then leave the scene. In a few seconds of seeing nothing but darkness, they would be at the Guild Hall without even a single sweat being broken. Thank you Yuni.

Corliss, stunned into silence by the arrival of the celestial spirit, Yuni, neglected to respond to Elyx's compliments. Before she could bombarde the poor spirit with questions, Corliss's surroundings changed, shifting from the construction zone to what Corliss could only assume was Black Rose's guildhall. Completely taken aback by the new location, she was barely pulled from her own whirling thoughts by Marschal's response. She hadn't met a panther hanyō before, but didn't think too much of it. Marschal was to be her guildmate, and that fact gave her all she needed to respect him. Trust, however, was an entirely seperate matter. "Oh okay! Thats, uhh..." before she finished her sentence, the entirety of which she hadn't thought up yet, the young girl was distracted by the decor in the room, and trailed off into awestruck silence. She had made it, at last, to Black Rose. She wasn't quite sure where the idea to join the guild came from, only that it was a desire held far longer than any other impulsive thought she had entertained, and that desire led her to commit, almost blindly, to the independent guild. After taking a pause to soak in her surroundings, she turned to her two companions. "So, uh... Where do i start?"

Well, I used to bring people to Kaku to get this party started. But instead, we will go to Sophie. She should be in the library, not that I can guarantee anything. He would explain before looking towards the right side. The light brown eyes scanned the double doors to lead towards the knowledge center. From there, his hands would be placed in his pockets, right hand still held onto the key. Gentle steps would be taken so the echoes of his steps would not interrupt the others doing whatever they normally did, whether that be taking jobs or just simply there to have a good time. It took time to master walking again without causing much of a problem, being that his boots used to once be a bit heavy for him, he had adapted to strengthening his leg by simply continuing to walk with them. However, he would normally find himself being forced to stomp in order to bring his legs down. Now they felt lightweight, but grew used to the stomping. The amount of force would not be noticed on earth since, well, it was the earth. It blocks the impact and sound quite easily. But in areas such as this one, he would have to adapt to regular steps again. Yuni would follow him from behind, casually walking, but dead silent. This was a chance for him to do some research on Celestial Spirits as well.

Corliss nodded in thanks to Elyx and Marschal, and followed the former to the library, still in stunned silence. She neglected to notice any hint of curiousity or disdain in Marschal's actions, too busy being excited for what adventures were in store for her. Joining Black Rose would be her best decision yet, at least she hoped. A quick flash of a nagging concern about her decision enveloped her, but before she had the chance to act upon it, the notion vanished, leaving her solely with her enthusiastic dream of what her life in the guild would be. Trying to take in as much of her surroundings as possible, she noticed that Elyx walked in an unnatural manner, but was distracted by an elegantly bound book and lost all interest in her escort's behaviour. Knowing she didn't want to make a fool of herself in front of her new guildmates (though she neglected to consider that being lost in a construction site would already make her the subject of humor for quite some time), the white-blonde girl made sure to keep up with Elyx, though his legs were longer than hers (and that she had the tendency to run off). Realizing she had kept silent a little too long, she attempted to rekindle the conversation with a m whispered question: "So, uh, who is Sophie?"
