- Blessed by the Fourth Wall:
Blessed by the Fourth Wall
Description: The ancestor in here could have turned into a god, but nooooo, he had to preserve the fabric of reality or something. For this lineage, this ancestor, known as the One Who Got Close, is the only one to have found the Fourth Wall of the world, giving himself the chance to break it and ascend to the heights that are unknown, basically, us. However, when told by the wall that breaking it would sacrifice everyone else in the world, the noble goody-two-shoes chose to stop himself instead and as a result, he was blessed by the Fourth Wall. This blessing would go down to his bloodline and now you, oh lucky guy, are one of his kin.
Ability: The Fourth Wall respects the user's bloodline and has given those of it the Glimpse, the ability to see what the user should not be able to see. Of course, to respect the purpose of the Fourth Wall, the user can only see one "Thing" at a time. Such as a snippet from a magic or character app (See 2 strengths or 2 weaknesses, see 2 likes or 2 dislikes, and so on.), or from another post to know someone is for example pursuing them or that someone is going to make a certain attack on them within the current post.
Usage: 5 post cooldown between uses.
Abilities/Powers:
- Paper Body:
Paper Body: The user can assume the form of a large quantity of square-formed, free-floating paper and resume their normal form when they need to, though the transition between paper and normal takes a second or two where they're mid transition.
This allows her to move about as a whirl of paper in flight which increases her speed by 50% when in paper form, with a 50% resistance to blunt force damage such as from clubs or boulders but only a 20% resistance to piercing or slashing attacks. If such an attack is magical, decrease resistance by half.
She takes 50% extra damage from fire or water spells however, and can be scattered and pushed around by wind spells.
Because of the thinness of paper, it's important to note the ability to slide between cracks such as under a door or move through pipes (Though a wet pipe would give her a hard time!)
- Paper Pass:
Paper Pass: The user can appear to disappear in a puff of paper almost as though assuming Paper Body. That paper falls to the flour around the spot however, and she instead reforms out of burst of paper coming from any source of existing paper within 15 meters + 15 meters per rank.
Doing this takes the wind out of her though, making her feel a little fatigued and requiring her to take a moment before doing it again, limiting how often she can do this within one post and giving ample time to be hit.
- Paper Make:
Paper Make: This allows for her to make paper and use it within her magic and never run out for a paper to use and summon any colour or shape that she wishes.
This can be used directly to deal her usual rank's unarmed damage at a range of 15 meters + 15 meters per rank. This "Unarmed damage" is based off spell/magic power rather than strength. It travels at 8m/s per rank.
The paper flurries can be a bit distracting, acting almost like a momentary smoke screen which reduces enemy accuracy within the same moments in wish a paper flurry is thrown.
- D Ranks:
- Red Dance:
Name: Paper Blizzard: Red Dance
Rank: D
Type: Fire Offensive
Duration: 3
Cooldown: 4
Description: She will change the colour of paper she is holding in her hand within her index and middle fingers then letting it go blowing on it as she does this it will make more paper turning it into a torrent that looks like fire which is also as hot as fire.
This causes D-rank spell damage to enemies within a 15 meter cone of swirling paper that glows with heat, the edges of the pages only slowly charring despite their heat. Enemies are burned, dealing 50% extra damage on the next post and 25% on the post after that.
The cone is 5 meters wide by the end and the paper swirls at 25m/s BUT, it's in a swirling formation making it travel out along its cone at a speed of 8m/s.
Strengths:
• Burning paper strikes at a few enemies within the area, it's not that big, causing burns.
Weaknesses:
• Easily countered by any Wind or Water spells.
• Can cause fires that the user might not want or intend, especially if it burns flammable paper lying around which might be of use to her.
• This spell doesn't leave behind paper for her to use, the papers are burned up by the spell effect.
- Gray Dance:
Name: Paper Blizzard: Gray Dance
Rank: D
Type: Defence
Duration: 2
Cooldown: 3
Description: The user controls many pieces of grey paper that form a shield in front of her that is a little taller than and wider than she is, appearing in a humanoid-like shape.
This can be formed almost instantly in front of herself or at a source of paper within 20 meters, allowing her to try to protect others if she wishes.
The paper itself blocks up to 40 points of damage (2 D-ranks) before being torn through.
Strengths:
• A shield to block damage, with the notable use of being able to be used away from herself to try to shield allies at a distance.
Weaknesses:
• Takes double damage from fire or water spells.
• Its odd shape can be used against her some times. A scythe for example
could get at her from under the "arms" of the shield due to the shape of the scythe.
- Wound Dance:
Name: Paper Blizzard: Wound Dance
Rank: D
Type: Defence
Duration: 2
Cooldown: 3
Description: This is used for a Defence and to keep fighting to stop bleeding. She puts white paper on cuts or wounds stopping it with the paper with it acting as a bandage.
Meanwhile the paper itself radiates a healing effect that knits flesh back together, healing 10%HP over the 2 posts. Minus .5% per rank greater than D the person it is used on is.
Strengths:
• Being a healing spell, it is nice to have in fights that go on too long, and it ends any bleeding effect from a B-rank spell or less (B-rank due to uncommon nature of Bleed effects) unless that B-rank spell is focused on specifically causing intentional bleeding.
Weaknesses:
• The healing effect is a bit drawn out over 2 posts.
• Only stops bleeding if it can cover the effected area, covering only an area equal to 1 limb per use.
- Yellow Dance:
Name: Paper Blizzard: Yellow Dance
Rank: D
Type: Lightning, Light and Blinding.
Duration: 3
Cooldown: 4
Description: She uses and changes the color of their paper to yellow and blows it into the wind, which explodes into more pieces of yellow paper that crackle heavily with intense tendrils of electrical energy that radiate blinding light.
The paper travels to where the user wants it to go at a speed of 8m/s up to 15 meters away where it detonates into a shock-ball 5 meters in area causing D-rank spell damage. The bright light will blind people within 15 meters out from the shock ball itself. Blindness isn't complete, but causes heavy blurring and eye pain reducing perception by 75%, which reduces by 25% per post as it recovers. For every 1% of HP a victim heals, this perception loss is reduced by 10%. It's effect is reduced from the start by 10% per rank greater than D a victim is.
Strengths:
• Causes some damage, but most notably will induce partial blindness reducing the effectiveness of individuals caught in it.
Weaknesses:
• Someone can look away and/or shield their eyes from the blast to reduce blindness by half, but in doing so make themselves more vulnerable to a follow up attack.
• Wind spells can be a pain, as it could block or divert the paper's movement before it detonates.
