Personality: Generally, Jackie is a bit strange. She was raised in a high-class home, but attempts to appear tough. As such, her mannerisms occasionally seem to hedge towards overcompensating for her upper-class upbringing. She's fairly confrontational, but doesn't mean any harm and ultimately wants to better herself and do good for others. She views her own good looks and aptitude in working with people as a bit of a burden, as she'd rather be liked as the result of her actions or an extended relationship rather than anything else. She tends to envy those who have had it harder than she, applying the same, 'Grass is greener on the other side' approach to it that might be reminiscent of Mark Twain's, "The Prince and the Pauper". She looks at it as being self-made, rather than having everything handed to her. She figures if someone was somehow successful, it might not have been /that/ bad, right? In socialization proper, she tends to judge those of formality a bit moreso than usual. She's more familiar with the malice that can be hidden behind a smile and protocol than some others might be, and ultimately trusts someone who's willing to stick a knife to your throat more than someone who's going to stab you in the back. Her rough mannerisms were partially learned from the man who taught her magic, a former street brawler of a wizard. The other part however, were taken from novels which has more than once placed her in an embarrassing situation.
The fact that she has immense powers of persuasion when need be is also a factor that leads her to favor brute force. She's not embarrassed to use them, but ultimately realizes one truth about her abilities. No matter how she leverages her magical influence she can't control someone into loving her or really being her friend. Eventually, the control falls apart and the person hates you more than they would have otherwise. Truly beneficial relationships have to be worked on and earned, as opposed to taken.
In battle, Jackie employs a form of magic known as, "Iron Tyrant". Iron Tyrant allows her to create strength-enhancing armor for herself of a black metal. It lends her a certain degree of feeling invulnerable on account of its defensive capabilities which she has tested for herself. Her reckless approach is a bit mitigated by the lack of speed, but ultimately she tends to charge headlong into danger with little thought. She's not a very good leader, as she will often resort to blitz tactics but can follow directions to some degree. Generally, Jackie is in her element when improvising and with others who can weather the destructive power she brings to bear as she has very little care when fighting despite still caring for her allies nearby. It's not so much that she doesn't care if they're hurt or healthy, alive or dead, it's simply that she's reckless by nature and can occasionally inadvertently harm her allies by being overly enthusiastic to fight whomever or whatever needs to be fought.
Likes:
* Honest people - Jackie has a thing about liars and manipulative people, especially those that do so just to benefit themselves. People who lie with good intentions, and people who manipulate in an attempt to do good for someone are worthy of a dirty look and little more. Those who lie out of necessity or to protect that which they love, are utterly excusable. By contrast, she also knows that lying is the easy way to do things a lot of the time so she respects people who remain honest at personal cost. Those who remain honest to the cost of others is someone who adheres to the letter of the law but not the spirit of it to her.
* Savory food - It's a part of her upbringing, that she's had less in the way of extreme flavors, barring savory and rich food. She's gotten used to more plain foods, but rich or savory foods give her a little taste of her happy youth before she realized how cutthroat the world of the upper class could be.
* Fighting - Jackie feels that you can get to know someone better through how they fight, than how they talk or sometimes even act. Fighting is someone at their most extreme, and at times most primal too. Competition of a physical nature will suffice as well, though she really prefers combat sports as a means of getting to know someone.
Dislikes: * Spicy Food - She just doesn't. It's a personal preference, though given the theory of nature vs nurture it could just be that she wasn't exposed to them early in life.
* Superficial people - Jackie doesn't like people who put more value on things and appearances than people. They don't have to be dishonest, but even if they are honest about their materialistic and/or vain tendencies she still has no great love for them.
* Cowards - It's not so much people who avoid violence, or even dedicate their lives to nonviolence that annoy Jackie. It's the people who run away from fights when their friends are in danger, or those who actively sacrifice others that may have trusted them in the past. Even the non-violent she would expect to at least shield their weaker friends with their own body if not make an attempt to fight there and then to begin with.
Motivations: * Self-Discipline - Although she doesn't really show many signs of it, honing her willpower is a strong motivation for Jackie and the reason why she's joined Sabertooth rather than any other guild. Strictly speaking, it's not so much discipline in the self-denial sense as much as it is a will for self-actualization and overcoming trials.
* Relationships - Jacqueline wants to develop honest relationships, rather than ones based on lies or passing things like possessions or status. Developing those, and maintaining them are things she will fight and is prepared to die for if at all necessary.
* Power - There's no real ifs, ands, or buts. Jacqueline wants to become fantastically strong. Of course, she won't sacrifice others for power and certainly not her friends. But if some magical artifact out there might grant her more power, some training method or spell? She'll definitely try for it and try her hardest.
Fears: * Weakness - Jackie is afraid of being weak, of being helpless and unable to protect that which she holds dear. She already lost her parents, and she doesn't want to lose anyone else.
* Regret - Looking back, Jackie wants to give everything she's got and act to the utmost degree of conviction. She doesn't want to regret anything, and reasons that if she dies in the process that she will die knowing she did the right thing. In some ways, she's burdened by regrets already of not having had a better relationship with her parents and not having been with them on the trip when they were killed.
* Malice - Jackie knows that the temptation of giving into malice for power is there. She's scared to death of embracing the truth of the Iron Tyrant, of giving into frustration and anger at one moment and allowing it to become a habit. Of letting negative emotions drive the Iron Tyrant to become more powerful, and of those emotions consuming her. Her fear conversely, helps keep it at bay... But a crisis might change that.

Her figure is a strange intersection between curvaceous and fit, that almost might seem impossible for most women. Her outfits tend to be a bit ramshackle but durable, open jackets with smaller t-shirts and bandages instead of a bra. Most of them tend to have black knight helmets sown on the back or applied with magic. She favors pants and sandals, though she often switches to boots in the colder months and closes up her jackets as well.
When employing Iron Tyrant, the area she enhances is replaced by an elegant yet menacing black armor that might just seem more decorative than functional. On account of its magical nature however, it is anything but useless. The most common form she uses is a mystical gauntlet, clawed at the fingertips and embossed with silvery designs.
