it's barking again! (Dark job)

Thasus had accepted this job for some easy jewels, how hard could it be to take out some pet?

He had continued to walk through the empty streets searching for the targets household, it was close to midnight so no one would be around to see him breaking and entering onto someones property.

After visiting the man who had given Thasus the description of what the house had looked like he began to make a note of each little detail and planned his escape thoroughly.

He began to head around towards the back of the home and noticed a small red and white dog house with a really large chain broken at the end and leading to an open cellar door.

He investigated the chain and made the assumption the pet snapped it off, what kind of animal was he dealing with? this was not made by a simple house pet but something much worse. He made a small smirk, this will make things much more interesting...

Thasus was actually thrilled the creature was not something as weak as a cat or dog, at least the beast now currently lurking in the cellar could hopefully give him some kind of challenge.

Thasus began to step towards the dimly lit cellar and made note of the crushed wooden doors tossed to the side, perhaps it was chasing something that wondered down here...

As soon as he stepped past the doors and down the stairs an overwhelming stench of animal blood overcame him, the smell did not phase him but instead encouraged him to move further down at a quicker pace.

Once he arrived at the bottom of the stairs the room was dimly lit with only a couple of torches hung on the sides of the walls the room was rather large to his surprise, the room was square in shape and appeared to be about 20 x 20 feet with two stone pillars towards the center of the room.

The room also seemed to be used to hold animals in as there were many small steel cages thrown about and crushed with only a few intact ones remaining. It seems the owner of this home was an owner of some exotic animals, or possibly sold them to others.

However, on the opposite end of the room was his target, a large creature who's head was currently bent down chewing at the carcass of a dead creature unrecognizable at this point. It was brown with very shaggy fur and small white horns protruding from its head. it turned around and began to stare at Thasus before making an ear piercing roar and began to charge.

As the beast began to charge; Thasus reached into his pocket and pulled out the chaos brush, with his powerful tool in hand he can begin to show this puppy to play nice...

Thasus leaped to the side quickly letting the beast slam its head into the hard concrete wall Aw... did that hurt? that's a shame... He used his weapon to create 4 small jagged lines in the air, the moment he finished they jolted towards the beast hitting it directly in the side and creating four bloody gashes.

The beast howled in pain and began to charge him again, he shrugged his shoulders in amusement and leaped to the side expecting to dodge but the creature had slid on its paws just in time to make a sharp turn directly hitting him sending him flying back towards a pillar.

now, now.. Thasus had created a dark portal and had used his magic to toss it directly next to the beast, it's curiosity got the best of it and it soon was sniffing the portal for identification. play NICE! He imbued the portal with energy and 3 dark tendrils shot out wrapping around the creature pinning it to the ground slowly draining its energy.

Thasus felt a small portion of his magic returning to him causing him to feel a bit more refreshed and ready to continue the fight.

He had walked up to the beast which was whining on the ground attempting to break its dark shackles. Don't like that? Too bad! he began to kick the beast on the ground, not doing much damage but having fun anyway.

His cockiness got the better of him however as the creature was able to break its shackles and charge Thasus, he was prepared for such an event and had painted a pair of wings for him to fly with completely avoiding the beast and its claws.

The beast looked at him with a gaze of pure blood lust and hatred, he did nothing but smirk right back at it.

Thasus began to fly around taunting the beast with his laughter, as much as the beast tried it could not catch him and soon found itself panting with exhaustion.

Thasus landed in front of of one of the pillars and made a silly face taunting the beast, it roared and began to charge once again, Thasus leaped into the air and floated above the beast head, at that moment it crashed into a pillar once again causing it to swoon about and become disoriented.
