Rising Star Rules

So I got denied a Rising Star position under the premise that Independent guilds can't have those positions, hell they probably can't even have Wizard Saint positions.

But the issue isn't that I didn't get the position it's the reason why. If independents can't apply for Rising Star Positions then why is there an independent with Rising Star position and this rule isn't stated?

It would be nice if Independent guilds didn't get that runt of the pack treatment, which means it would be nice if we had either the ability to apply for positions or had our own positions. But you can at least make it clear that we can't have some positions and also why does an independent have a Rising Star position if we aren't allowed to have any?

I didn't want to call your name out directly in my post but you were indeed the one I was referring to.

But as it stands I was denied just for being independent, yet you weren't so how does that work?

Aedre approved my position.

It also doesn't make sense that several independents have gone through with Rising Star Positions in the past and yet all of a sudden they can't at all. It makes 0 sense and it isn't explicitly stated that Rising Stars are the Fiore's up and coming legal wizards. It just states that they have to be good.

It's indeed a mistake, but just telling one of them personally and pointing it out works just as fine.

It's most likely a misunderstanding or miscommunication with the staff member who denied your request to become a rising star. You'd do best to bring this up to either the staff member that denied you the position or an admin and having this resolved.

Like Crimzon and Fred said, it's probably a mistake. Please PM an admin.
