It had been a while since Ibara had last embarked on a mission. To tell the truth, he was quite frankly sick and tired of having been refused missions on countless occasions when they were deemed too hard or beyond his skill level. Surely the decision was for him to decide whether a mission was up to his skill or not. He despised the audacity of it all; his love for the guild and it's members was the only thing that kept him sane in this wretched jail-cell that they had seamlessly bound him by. He'd had enough but that wouldn't stop him from participating in jobs. He had rent to pay, a belly to fill and other crap to do; all of which required jewels. The key distributor of jewels? Jobs; half-assed jobs that really didn't require any skill at all from Ibara's point of view.

This mission was extremely out of the ordinary. Up 'till now, despite Ibara's thinking of the absurdity of literally every mission he had gone on up to this point, he still couldn't understand why he was registered for this mission in the first place. Frankly, he didn't realise he was even in the guild. Only a few hours ago was he approached by a few of the Guild Members to say that he was involuntarily signed up for this mission by someone else. He was also told that he would have a partner for this mission. The details were vague but clear enough for Ibara to establish a clear sense of why he wouldn't want to partake in this at all. Simply put, he had to be someone's boyfriend for the day. He wasn't a toy, he wasn't a doll and he most certainly wasn't a woman's plaything so she could seem wanted for an hour or too. He grimaced at the thought but took a seat at the nearest table. Not a word escaped his mouth as he placed the job description infront of him. Instead he stared outwards, into the guild-hall; expecting his partner (whom had received a full description of him; despite it not being the other way around) to promptly turn up so this mission could be over and done with as soon as possible.

It had been a few weeks since Klein had joined Sabertooth. In all that time hes only done one job, if you could call it that, and it was to get his passport. On top of that nothing interesting had even happened in the two weeks. Well besides fighting a dragon to save the city. He guessed that was something. He desperately needed to get some capital going if he was going to pay the rent on his apartment by the end of the month. So he picked up the first job on the board. And it was..... Being someones boyfriend for the night. Wasnt the job he would have preferred but Klein supposed that it wouldn't hurt. He got to be with a hopefully lovely lady for the night and got paid for it. There was a catch though. There were TWO ladies. So that meant that Klein was going to be assigned a partner for this one. He got a description of what the guy looked like but he had never seen him around the guild.

Klein finished putting on his tux in his apartment. He had a feeling that his partner would forget his, so he got his extra out and took it with him. Klein pulled out his official Sabertooth teleportation lacrima, The only way to get to the guild, and was whisked away to the guild hall. When he arrived he walked into the main room and saw someone sitting at a nearby table that looked exactly like the description he was given. "hey." Klein said while walking up to him. "So you're the guy im doing this with?" "Here i got you a little something." Klein said as he tossed the spare tuxedo he had slung over his shoulder at the man.

It didn't take long for Ibara to react to the tuxedo being thrown over his shoulder within a second of the man's approach. Ibara took a second to glance between the clothing now slung over his left shoulder and the man whom stood fully prepared; looking dapper in a fine tuxedo that looked more expensive than him. "I've got to wear this?! This day just gets better and better.“ He said, more to himself than to anyone else although considering the circumstances; the remark seemed aimed at his newly found compatriot. Ibara shook his head and got up from the table. Taking the tuxedo in both arms, he turned away from his soon-to-be partner and glanced to the bathroom. "Give me a few minutes to look pretty.“ He remarked rather sarcastically before disappearing into the men's bathroom with an extremely sour look on his face. His attitude really wasn't necessary considering the circumstances, especially because he liked the demeanour that his partner held about him, in some cases, it was similar to Ibara's own but on others, it was an entirely different ballgame.

Soon enough, just as Ibara had stated, he came out of the bathroom looking much fresher than he usually would. His red hair was slicked back with droplets of water, an evident sign that he had washed his face, and the tuxedo slim-fitted him perfectly, adjusting to Ibara's well-deserved body shape. Despite all of this, Ibara breathed heavily, not acknowledging his newer and fresher appearance before closing the distance between himself and his partner once more. An extremely forced smile spread on his face and he held out his hand as if in greeting.

"My bad for before. I'm not exactly a fan of this mission nor any of the ones 'chosen' for me as of recently. I'm Ibara, one of the supposedly lower-classed wizards round this place. Guess we're on this mission together, if you ask me, I say we get this done thick and fast. I can bet my left nut that these girls won't be pretty, there's probably a reason they don't have boyfriends if you catch my drift. Then again, you never know.. BUT THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM..“ Ibara blushed at his own ability to get sidetracked so easily. "The problem is that our designated meeting time to locate these girls is in ten minutes, and might I add, it's quite a damn distance from here to Clover Town.“

Klein patently waited outside in the main hall as Ibara finished putting on the tux that he had just lent him. A few minutes later Ibara came out of the bathroom wearing the dashing tux. "That Tux cost me my rent for three months. He'd better not ruin it." Klein thought while smiling in Ibaras direction. Ibara approached and explained the situation. He said that the scheduled date at the restaurant in clover town is in about ten minutes. "Damn!" Tanik exclaimed while looking at his watch to make sure what the red haired mage said was true. "This is all my fault. I took way longer than i thought getting ready." Klein said while panicking slightly. Calming down a bit after some self encouraging words in his head Klein said, "Alright well we need to get going now. Follow me and we'll think of some way to get there fast." Klein said as he bolted to the lacrima room to teleport out.

Ibara couldn't help but chuckle at Klein's facial expression upon his exit of the bathroom. With both hands placed firmly on either side of his jacket, he pulled it downwards so the jacket felt snug on his body shape before turning towards the teleportation lacrima. By the looks of things, Klein had already gone through and would wait for Ibara on the other side. He supposed he had no other options than to follow him through. Meanwhile, Ibara's thoughts were still focused on the conundrum at hand. They had ten minutes to get to a location in a town they had never been too before. Getting there was easy, that was what the teleportation lacrima was for. But to reach the exact location at the exact time they were expected to arrive would be a challenge. It was at that moment Ibara debated on whether the job was worth it or not, something he had occasionally taken up doing in the coming days that he'd been a member of the guild. Ultimately though, he decided to follow his partner through the teleportation lacrima.

The journey was rough and nauseating as per usual, flashing lights and boisterous sounds flooded every orifice and sense that dominated Ibara's ability to even interpret what was going on. His predominant senses completely disappeared as he landed, almost face-first into grave, a seemingly long-winded road in the centre of Clover Town. It was a late evening and the sun was already setting. The time was roughly before eight, seven minutes to be exact, seven minutes before eight and seven minutes before they were due to arrive at Destiny and Hope's home. Ibara wondered why they even needed wizards for the job before he began to focus on the task at hand. While in the teleportation lacrima, the whizzing lights of red and orange reminded him of an ability long-forgotten, taught to him by Igneel many years ago. He turned to Klein and said a few simple words: "You're gonna have to trust me on this one.“ Before long, Ibara had seized his fellow wizard's arm while magic began to build up in Ibara's feet. All of a sudden, fire erupted from his very soles in a column of red. They got up to speed at an alarmingly fast rate while glancing at Klein for a moment longer. "Strongly scented perfume, sweat and the inglorious smell of desperation. That's got to be them, right?“ Ibara's instincts usually weren't wrong, and as predicted, Ibara crash-landed into the ground, making sure to drop Klein before him just infront of the desperate duo's house. Their door was already open and there they stood, glancing at the two of them, (assumedly Klein was standing) while Ibara lay sprawled in a heap just next to him, with his bum stemming up into the air. "Right on time,“ Ibara said nonchalantly despite the circumstances.

Despite Ibara's 'lowly' circumstances, he did get a good glimpse of the two ladies as they strode towards the two. They didn't say much but their faces looked aggravated. Despite all this, the two would usually be described as stone-cold stunners. By Ibara's standards these women were knockouts. Their beauty was almost untarnishable, you couldn't lay a flaw to their name. The both of them had luscious blonde locks which dangled down their spine delicately, meanwhile their body was almost perfect in shape, representing the stereotypical hourglass rather than a pickle jar as Ibara had been expecting. He was so dumbfounded by the idea that these two women were beautiful that he forgot to reply as the two were whisked into the house with only a minute to spare before the parent's were due to arrive. He decided he'd leave the initial introductions to his partner, Klein.

Klein panics a bit as Ibara grabs him and carries him through an improptu flight to the girls house. "!!!" "He-he-hey!" Klein stuttered as he was flying at what felt like mach one speed. In reality it probably was not though. Ibara sees the house and begins to make his descent. He was almost there when he loses control of his own magic and lands face first on the ground if front of the door. While Klein leaps away at the last second and makes a stylish landing. Klein sees the two women through the open door way as they watch him and Ibara with disgusted looks on their faces. But Klein wasnt going to let that stop him. The ladies were even lovelier than Klein had anticipated, and he wasnt going to waste this golden opportunity.

"Hey there ladies. Don't mind my partner here, hes just a little winded." Klein said as he swooped in next to one of the beauties and put his arm around her back. (Loki style!). "We're the mages you hired to escort you through this wonderful night." Klein said elegantly with a confident look on his face. "so why dont we all walk to the restaurant together and we can get to know each other a little better?" Klein finally concluded his attempt at being flirtatious and awaited a response. "You are such a creep!" One of them said as she pushed Klein away. "Oh... I see" Klein murmered as a dark rain cloud appeared over his head and he sulked back a bit in defeat. "Yeah but we have to show our parents we aren't single so i guess we don't have much of a choice but to bring you losers."The other one said. Klein stood with his head down in defeat and hoped Ibara could take charge of the situation.

Ibara found himself inside the pretty grand mansion in a matter of moments. Not only was he man-handled, but they didn't even allow him time to redirect his butt from the air, the nerve! He was quite literally dragged across the floor and into the house with a moment to spare. Although it was understandable that the girls were both stressed, aggravated and annoyed, it still didn't give them a reason to treat him like that. Naturally he was pissed off before he'd even begun the job. Ibara heaved an exasperated sigh before getting to his feet after having been dragged through the door. His senses came to, just in time for him to notice Klein's somewhat unsuccessful attempt at trying to win the girls over. The two had pretty much countered every problem possible that they had witnessed on this job so far. What they hadn't account for was their clients to be such a pain in the ass, especially from Ibara's point of view. He came to and got to his feet just as Hope and Destiny's attitude completely shot down Klein's attempt at motivational bonding and flirting. Their reactions reminded Ibara of his mother in a sense, to the point where he was compelled to act. His movement to his feet was swift and he closed the distance between him and the two women in a matter of moments. His physical height and stature enabled him to tower over them, his brows furled with an extremely pissed off gaze now trained on the two. His hand patted Klein's shoulder, allowing him to take over for the mean time.

"Listen up, bimbos. Let's get a few things clear before we even begin this sad excuse for a job. I don't care how long it's 'gunna take, your parents can wait. We all need to get a few things straight before we continue. My partner and I are Sabertooth wizards, we came here, not under obligation but because we wanted to; we wanted to help you, my partner more than I. If he's gonna go to the trouble of attempting to befriend you or rather just try to befit his role, because I'm sure he dislikes you guys just as much as I do by now, then you should at least be the teeniest, tiniest bit grateful. I've had it up to here with pretty women thinking they're better than everyone else. My point is, you'll either treat my friend with some respect, I don't care how you treat me, and we can continue this job like nothing happened. Or you can continue to act like petty brats and we both walk, end of, and ultimately you'll get humiliated when your parents see you have no boyfriends, just saying. So, what's it gonna be?“

The girls seemed speechless at Ibara's rather abrasive, yet courageous words. They clearly weren't use to any vague attempt at rejection considering their absolutely drop-dead good looks. Ibara had delivered to them a clear and succinct point of view, he spoke his mind, something most men wouldn't dream of doing to women so blessed in appearance. Ibara's concern for his friend and partner superseded that of winning the girls' favour. Their hands dropped by their sides, as if to stand at attention, while their lips moved but no words seem to utter from their mouths. Ibara took their response as terms of agreement and he gave a half-assed smile before turning to Klein. He nodded his head in acknowledgement to his partner before the doorbell rung behind them. The women's eyes brightened and they said "They're here! Let's go, let's go.“ she'd clearly dismissed the former conflict although Ibara believed she had taken his words to heart. They rushed to the door and opened it gaping wide to reveal four people, two men and two women, each standing in expensive finery and clothing while glaring at their two daughters with draggingly boisterous looks. Their very appearance disguised layers upon layers of pretentiousness that Ibara had come to despise in his sixteen years of life. Ibara understood why this skit meant so much to them by now while he stared at the parents in a bewildered state of annoyance. Soon he came to his senses as he and Klein walked graciously to the side of the two girls and put their arms around them both. They smiled charmingly to the two parents which seemed to satisfy them for now. In response one of the fathers said simply "We'll be off then. The restaurant is a short limousine ride away from here.“ Ibara thought how pretentious this man was before dismissing the thought to the back of his mind. As a group of eight, they descended the stairwell together and bunched into the limousine. This was to be the beginning of a long, long night.

After descending the stairwell, arms locked with his "date", Destiny, Klein stood by the limosine while everyone got in. First the parents, then Hope, then Ibara, and finally Destiny and Klein. They all sat next to each other aboard the limousine. Klein was in awe of how fancy the vehicle was. It was nicer than any car he had ever ridden in the past. It had drinks in special wine holders next to the almost completely tinted windows, a lacrima powered seat warmer, (Although they probably didn't need it considering Ibara was there.) and even the outside he noticed was made out of magic adamentadium. Although he didn't understand why they needed such an expensive and powerful material as that simply for a limousine, but he didnt think much of it. They all sat silently on the way to the restaurant. Once they arrived, the valet opened the door and they all exited in an orderly fashion. "After you my lady." Klein said to Destiny only to have her glare at him slightly menacingly. He knew he was going to enjoy this night. Everyone entered the restaurant and took a seat at a nearby table. The place was very classy. Five star without a doubt. "I really hope they don't expect us to pay for this." Klein thought as he opened his menu.

The limousine ride surprisingly wasn't as cramped as Ibara had been expecting. In fact, it was remarkably roomy despite the fact that nigh on eight people had entered all at once. This only served as proof to the grandeur master-class that Hope and Destiny's family possessed. The ride there was exceedingly comfortable. High-end, leather-backed chairs, workable adamantine frames, champagne glasses which filled on command, hell, the only thing missing was a jacuzzi to top it all off. Ibara sighed and leaned his head against the side of the window while Hope pressed up next too him, He wanted to drop the act immediately, tell the parents that their daughters were faking the entire skit and be off with Klein before the day was out. Sadly that wasn't an option and he played up to the role of the caring, loving and suitable boyfriend that he ensured Hope's parents wanted him to be. They looked on at him approvingly while he swung his arm over her shoulder while she simultaneously craned her head in to rest comfortably between his vestibules. He went no further for any physical signs of affection such as kissing could've taken a turn for the worse on the inappropriate side. He wanted it all to be over and thankfully, his prayers were answered as the limousine came to a halt. Klein answered first with his courteous nature and showing Destiny the door first. Hope and Ibara were the last to fall in line, and as a group of eight, they all descended upon the restaurant.

If Ibara had thought the limousine was the epitome of exquisite, this was an entirely different ballgame. Ibara physically couldn't comprehend this restaurants' majestic complexity, no doubt brought around by the fact that millions upon billions upon trillions of jewels were all invested into this place at once by some rich benefactor no doubt. It took the pinnacle of Ibara's will to keep his jaw intact and his drool suppressed. The sensation of simply gazing upon an area like this was incomprehensible to both imagine and verbally pronounce so Ibara didn't try. Instead, he put on his handsome, caring boyfriend's smile back on and hooked his arm with Hope's. Klein had done something similar and they all moved over to the table together.

"Oh do tell me, Mr. Farage.. It's a shame we couldn't go on a boat trip together. I sold my yacht to a poor orphanage last week, a terribly sad story really.“ Drivel upon drivel rained down like a heavy waterfall from Ibara's mouth, each and every single one of his words was heavily accentuated with bullshit. He literally couldn't tolerate the lies he was telling, it went against his very character. On a more positive note however, Klein was doing a much better job than he was at winning the parent's over. Ibara's words fell mostly on deaf ears really, although the yacht comment seemed to grab their attention temporarily, for Klein bedazzled them with tales of prosperity and wealthy that even the King of Fiore himself would be envious of. Ibara was frankly impressed but seemed not the time to be so withdrawn. In fact, at that exact moment, a loud crashing noise emanated from the entrance of the restaurant while a man's voice, a rough sounding one, bounced and reverberated off the vast walls..

"Give it up, ye' lousy rich lot! You're all surrounded. No point in calling for help now, besides, we only want somethin' very simple, ye' got that? We want yer' money. There's no point in trying to retaliate either, there's roughly twenty of us, and if you'd care to look at the chandeliers above you, you'll see meh' fellow compatriots, eh? On the count of ten.. you're all gonna place yer' wallets on the centre of yer' table, then we lovely lads and lasses are gonna collect them from you! Think of it as a rental fee, heh! 10... 9...“

The counting dropped to around five before Ibara glanced to Klein. His eyes flared a deep red and the bottom of the table cloth began to smoke. His head nodded swiftly in Klein's direction which served as one simple message. "Time to seal the deal.“

Klein was siting at the table giving his supposed life story as he described his many escapades as a rich young mage. The parents were listening intently to each word that came out of his mouth. "I must be a better liar than i thought." Klein thought to himself as he continued with his tall tales. Destiny was sitting next to him not saying a word the whole time they were seated at the table. He knew she didn't want to be there and he accepted that. Klein was in the middle of one of his stories when a gruff male voice was heard telling everyone to put their wallets on the table. He looked up and saw the men that were above in the chandeliers. The man was counting down the time that the patrons had to surrender any jewels they had on them. Klein and Ibara's eyes met at the exact same moment and they nodded to each other. Klein quickly pushed his chair back out of the table, put his hands on the armrests, and flipped backwards out of his seat, all in about a second. He was in a handstand position and he spun his legs around in a circle shape as his feet emanated a very bright light. He yelled, "White Dragon Talon!" and two crescent shaped arcs of light flew up at the men on the chandalier, knocking them off and having them land on the ground nearby. Klein pushed off of the seat and landed on the ground. He yelled, "Everyone get under the tables!" The whole restaraunt began taking cover underneath the expensive furniture. Klein quickly helped Destiny hide under their table and made sure everyone else at the table was safe. He then formed a pair of gauntlets on his arms out of pure light and turned to Ibara. He looked him in the eyes and said, "Lets get this show on the road."

Ibara's eyes averted from his partner while the count down emanating from the bandits had come to a sudden halt. It had taken Klein less than a second to do a multitude of impressive tasks including getting Hope and Destiny's family to safety by refuge of the table as well as dispatching four or more of the bandits whom hung from the chandeliers. This was the first time Ibara had actually witnessed or realised Klein's magic. His eyes widened dramatically at the fact that Klein was a dragon slayer. In fact, the idea had taken him so off balance that he couldn't even react in time to a group of four bandits dropping from another chandelier to land directly atop of him. Their spittle landed on his face while they pinned him to the floor with dominant gazes as an addition to, what Ibara considered, their already grotesque and annoying attitude. "Give it up, Wizard. We've got ya' partner right here, if you don't stop attacking us then we wont hesitate to blow his brains out.“ This really pissed Ibara off. Not only did they take him for a mere shrimp, but threatening to blow his brains out too? That was Ibara's job. His rage boiled to the brim and a growl emanated from the pits of his stomach. The bandits were slightly taken a back by the noise because it sounded much more reptilian than human in nature although their vice-like grip remained intact. Ibara was impressed by their steadfast attitude but their stupidity would cost them dearly. Ibara clenched both fists and, in a similar tone to the growl he produced, shouted "FIRE DRAGON'S IRON FIST!"

What followed was a pure frenzy of flying fists, waves of light and barrages of fireballs. The restaurant was absolutely trashed amidst the fray between two young wizards and roughly thirty bandits due to their leader's miscalculations. Smoke erupted from various clashes amidst the vicinity and the only times these battles were even barely visible was when either Ibara or Klein had lit up one of the bandits through their plethora of wide-ranged techniques. Shouting and screaming reverberated around the restaurant, and for the most part, it seemed to come from the bandits rather than the devastating duo. The bandits had seemingly barked at more than they could bite as they were wiped out one by one, periodically followed by a different high-pitched scream whether it be male or female. Simultaneously, Destiny and Hope gazed at the various smoke clouds in awe. Previously they had only pretended to be dumbfounded at their 'boyfriends' methodical attractiveness but now that dream was slowly becoming a reality. As the last bandit fell, that viewpoint was only solidified rather than going with the wind.

The smoke slowly cleared and there the bandits lay, in two piles, one by Klein's feet and the other by Ibara's. They dusted themselves off without a mere scratch to their name while their tuxedos were basically untarnished. Their handsome bravado, an act they had been putting on from the very beginning of the job, had not wavered one bit while they dusted their hands by clapping them together simultaneously. Together, they walked back to their table and offered a hand to the two women whom still cowered. As two pairs, their hands were taken and they were delicately lifted back to safety, vacating from the restaurant effective immediately.

The parents followed their lead and they all took a moment to glance back on their venue for the night. The place was in utter ruin after the fiasco Klein and Ibara had caused, together the two realised that they should vacate relatively soon. If the authorities were to find out about this then they could get into some serious table with the Sabertooth Guildmaster. The two were about to release their pretentious farewells before the two fathers stepped by and clasped their hands onto the Twin Dragons' shoulders.

"Young men! What can I say?! You kicked their asses! By joe, you really did show them. Not only have you proved your experience as a gentleman of wit, honour and humble origins but you've demonstrated your physical ability that men whom even dream of befitting our daughters should possess. You've done nothing but impress me this evening, chaps.

Hope, Destiny. I most certainly approve!“

The two girls beamed delightfully and turned to their partner, Hope to Ibara and Destiny to Klein. They approached them and kissed them on the cheeks, the first real sign of physical affection that these two women had demonstrated, in fact, this was the first genuine positive reaction between the couples all night. Their job was clearly finished here and Ibara turned to Klein. They shared a moment once more and together, the two vacated the premises with nothing more to prove.
