Name:
Victor R. Albeit
Gender:
Male
Age:
71
Birthday:
October 20th
Sexuality:
Straight
Special Characteristics:
- Is often seen doing entirely other activities, while something major is happening.
- Does seem to blend into the background, without even having any abilities for that at all.
- Has been in Savage Skull the entire time.
Personality:
Victor R. Albiet; diligent, calm and loyal. Three traits, that could be found in any good servant so to speak. Three traits that Victor excels at, yet are easily overshadowed when finding out where those loyalty lies.
You see, behind the gentle old face of this man. Lays an unwavering loyalty to the darkest guilds of all, or better yet to Harrigan Crawford the former master of Savage Skull. Who for reasons yet unknown had vanished. Some say death finally caught up with him, that he after all this time finally had fallen to his many enemies. While others say, that his disappearance had something to do with Crawford family business.
He did however, left behind a souvenir. An overseer of some sorts, that in his absence was to assist the guild and it's newly appointed master. And that man was Victor, the personal family butler of the Crawfords. At least to the black sheep side of the family that is.
Most find the man a mystery, as barely nothing is known about him besides being a servant. He's often awfully calm as is befitted of someone with his position, which also often portrays as some sort of kindness. Which might be weird, considering the place and people he serves.
In a way that kindness, is genuine. He advices, assists and even serves his fellow guild mates. In fact, Victor sees it as an honor to been have given the task to help the guild and it's mages in the best way possible. Without overstepping his place off course.
Yet, even though Victors kindness in his work is genuine. He himself as the person he is, might not be entirely. As said before, Victor has a certain calmness and unwavering loyalty that could be considered fanatic. I mean, who stays perfectly calm, serving his masters while they are happily ripping away limbs of innocent victim. While they are dancing onto the corpses of their enemies, and Victor is in the background pouring tea for when they are done.
Is it that his duty outweighs his moral compass, does he in fact don't feel anything at all besides the pleasure of serving. Or is it, that behind the calm sea that is his face, hides an immeasurable amount of evil.
It goes without saying, that Victor is a follower to default in battle. That he is only there to assist and serve the mages. He certainly doesn't lead. Since that isn't his style, or in fact goes against whatever Code he values. In fact actual leading might be a disgrace to him. That doesn't mean he would often give an indirect order, to assist his guild mates.
However, assisting the mages of Savage Skull is not limited to be on the sidelines all the time. In fact you could say, that serving them, might require a direct interference of a battle. Taking on an entire group alone, or dispatch himself from the rest. To take one an enemy by himself. Only to return later as if he himself hasn't done anything at all.
Likes:
- Fragrance of tea, nothing pleases Victor more. Then the soothing scent of a well set cup of tea.
- The guild, if it is obligated or not. Victor does appear to like the guild and its mages.
- Strawberry Cake, if possible so every now and then. Victor surely enjoys a small cake. Why isn't entirely sure to most, but it does seem nothing more then a personal preference.
Dislikes:
- His mages failing, he lives to serves. And to see his the mages he does serve fail a task displeases him.
- The sight of unclear rooms, not untidy as it is easy to bring order to the chaos. But genuine unclean rooms.
- Blue Pegasus, even though he doesn't show it or mentioned it at all. Victor has a big distain for the legal guild that is Blue Pegasus
Motivations:
- The guild, it's what he serves, it's what he lives for.
- The guild mages, it's whom he serves, it's what he lives for.
- The Guildmaster, the pinnacle of a guild. Also known as the highest authority there is for him, and thus his true master. Pleasing and serving her, is all that counts for Victor.
Fears:
- A guild mage failing because of his advice. Having giving bad advice which leads to the downfall of a Savage Skull mage, strikes fear into the heart of Victor. As it means that he has failed as an attendant.
- Being relieved of duty, may it be through faults or age. Being relieved of serving the guilds and its masters, is something what Victor fears. Maybe it's because he then has no goal in life anymore.
- The Guild Masters demise, simply put. If the guild master is gone, then what is the point of serving.
