Rae couldn’t help but stare at the piece of paper that she held, this had to be the right address right? She looked in front of her at the small stone house, it sure looked like a fisher’s house. It was obvious to the Duchess that today’s job was going to be unusual. She did not often teach “commoners” kids how to swim. It was a necessity in the Aristocratic world, if you don’t swim, you drown, it was as simple as that. The red-haired noble raised her hand and gently knocked twice on the wooden door which was flung open immediately by a rather chubby woman dressed in an apron. This must be Melissa, the mother of the boy she was supposed to teach swimming. She looked quite shocked when she saw the Duchess in front of her. “Good Day Madam, I am Duchess Rae Havoc, here on your request to teach your son swimming.” The heiress curtsied. The entire sentence sounded ridiculous however somehow as it came out of the Aristocrat’s mouth, it sounded serious.

“This is Michael, our son.” Melissa introduced a small boy who looked to be of around 10 years of age. He seemed to be quite nervous and was hiding behind his mother. The Duchess smiled and crouched down to the boy’s eye level. “Hello young sir, I’m Duchess Rae Havoc, you want to help you father out right?” The red-head asked with a smile. The boy nodded slowly. “I’ll teach you how to swim, so that you can help daddy, how about that young sir?” Rae followed with another question. She knew that making the boy feel special would help make him listen to her. The Duchess stuck her hand out for the boy to take, and when he did, they were off to the nearest pool. It wasn’t very far off, so Melissa came with them and helped Michael change before leaving for her day job, which seemed to be a cook. The Duchess changed into a simple black bikini and headed with the boy to the kiddy pool.

“You’re doing very well young sir, nice job.” Rae complimented Michael as he kicked around the water while she held him up by his arms. They had been doing that for the past thirty minutes and the results were amazing. The boy was really catching on fast, however, he definitely seemed to get tired. “Would you like to take a break, young sir?” The nobility asked as she lifted him out of the water and put him onto the side of the pool. “Yeah.” The boy answered curtly, he seemed to be quite shy. The pair sat down on the edge of the pool and quietly stared at the water for a couple of minutes before Rae stood up to go buy them ice-cream. “Restore your energy, young-sir.” The Duchess told him as he handed him a small vanilla-flavored ice-cream in a cone. She could hear people talking about her. “What a nice older sister.” “She’s so hot.” “Isn’t that The Havoc Duchess?”

“You’re amazing, young sir.” The Duchess encouraged as the boy attempted to swim without her support. He was making progress extremely fast and that was helping her image in front of everyone else around the pool. There were people who recognized her, that by itself was enough to make the Duchess try her hardest. She could still hear people whisper about her so she blocked them out and focused on her one job: Michael. “Move your arms less at the top, the circle is only supposed to go fully underwater in order to push you farther, when your hands are above water the move fast in order to get back in front of you.” She explained to the boy. He seemed to be getting it perfectly well. After a couple of more breaks his form was almost perfect. Rae clapped her hands together when the boy managed to swim to her from the other side of the adult’s pool without help. They repeated the process several times.

“Really? In one day?” Melissa looked shocked at the news that the Duchess delivered. The red-haired noble nodded with a smile. “Yes and he seems to have quite the talent for it as well.” She added. Michael was looking up at her with his large brown eyes. She could not read him very well as he was a child but to her he seemed to be quite happy with today’s experience. Then, to the Duchess’ surprise the boy grabbed her hand and kissed it. “In nine years I’ll be old enough to marry you!” He exclaimed loudly. Melissa laughed at her son’s outburst. “Oh my, no wonder he learned so fast.” The Duchess could only ruffle Michael’s hair blankly and give him an answer of the sort of “Listen to your parents and maybe one day you will marry me, young sir.” It sounded like a decent enough reason for the kid to work hard. Melissa seemed satisfied with the Duchess’ answer and handed her the pay for her job. “It was a pleasure doing business with you.”
