Plumbing Problems [Mission]

Marros was ready for another mission. Soon he should be able to rank up in his guild's eyes and go on more dangerous missions. However, this mission would be tricky for him. Fixing up a dam was not something his skill set really suited, but hopefully his partner would be able to deal with that aspect and he'd deal with the other aspects. He'd heard some of the animals were quite wild due to the explosions so that would be interesting and they also had the hunt for those responsible. Yes it would be quite interesting. He was wearing his typical gear consisting of a blue leather jacket, blue t-shirt, dark green pants, leather boots and gauntlets. On his forehead were his trademark goggles and in his mouth a cigarette.

As he walked towards the meeting place he noticed a rather attractive female waiting. His partner for the mission he assumed. It seemed he had all the luck when it came to being teamed up with hot females recently. As he got closer he removed the cigarette and flicked it to the feet and stamped it out before walking up and raising a hand in greeting.

"Hey gorgeous. You my partner for this little mission?" he said flirtily. "Looks like the gods are smiling on me. A beautiful gal to team wiith."

Marros was quite taken by the rapist comment, particularly with how serious she had said it. There was as snigger behind him as Gosai stepped into view. Gosai was a small red lizard-like demon with a foul mouth and fouler mind. However, for once he had nothing to say. It seemed the woman had said enough. Marros decided to ignore them for a bit and considered the idea. What would be best for them to do? He nodded and quickly activated his wings of pazuzu takeover and flew Gosai to the top of the wall. Then he flew down quickly and without warning grabbed the woman bridal fashion and carried her to the top of the wall.

"That eliminates the scaling. If its not too far I can easily ferry you and Gosai to the building." he said with a confident smile. Takeovers had a lot of advantages. Now all he had to do was wait a bit to get a response from her as to if he wanted him to carry her or if she'd prefer leaping across rooftops. The flying was easier and quicker, but she might not of liked it.

It seemed she hadn't like being picked up or so she seemed to radiate with body language, but she accepted the fact and he picked her up and carried her over to the destination. He too kept an eye out for anything noteworthy. He then quickly flew back and grabbed Gosai. Marros considered the question between the flights and then shrugged.

"I suppose if we packed up some mud or something I could heat it to create a temporary block and Gosai could aid me with it." he answered. There wasn't much else his powers could do. "In terms of sealing something like that I don't have too much in my arsenal. But don't worry babe. Not having the right powers has never stopped me yet." Gosai nodded in agreement.

"Well then lovebirds. Ain't ya supposed to go and talk to some client and officially accept the mission?" he said with a grin. "Or you gonna have a quickie first?" Marros punched him on the head causing the demon to growl then go silent, but he still had a cheeky grin on his face.

"Marros Graven for Eclipse Soul." he said introducing himself and considered the point that had been made. So they had cement and they had bags. He was still winged, but had furled them. "We could use the bags and maybe a few trees to block the flow, cover it in mud and super heat it as a temporary barrier...." he looked upwards as if seeking inspiration. "...then use the cement to make a more solid fortification?" That was one suggestion. He didn't know what magic his partner had. He was sure he'd read it, but he couldn't remember. "The other idea would be to use the bags and whatever we have to divert the flow so it goes around the village thus removing the need to fix the levees itself." That was about all the ideas he could think of at the moment. If he knew what kind of magic this Constantina used then perhaps he could of thought up some more suggestions. "What do you think?" this question was addressed to Gosai and Constantina. Gosai shrugged.

"I ain't the brainy type, but I reckon it might just work. Need a lot of bags and cement though." he glanced over at Constantina. "What kind of magic ya got doll?"

'Monster Dice' :

Marros saw the silhouette's but only just. It seemed they were quite good at hiding whatever they were. Gosai however, having eyes that weren't human grinned and without hesitation through a fireball shaped like an eighth note at two of them.

"They got some big pussies around here. Let's see if they like my balls" he said crudely as he threw the balls. Marros pulled out his spear and dispelled the wings. They would be of no use here. The balls of fire were thrown swiftly. Too swiftly for one of the cats who got hit by the ball and the explosion causing it to roar out in agony and then leap at Gosai and swipe at him. The claw caught him and cut into him deeply, but he bore it well. Marros took this oppurtunity to launch two swift strikes at the cat, the first of which hit felling it, but the second missed. Seeing the death of its ally one of the large cats leapt at Marros and attempted to claw him, but he blocked it with a clever movement of his spear, which he tried to turn into an attack, but the cat leapt away dodging it, beginning to circle round. The other cat had used the confusion to try and sneak to the side and attack. However, Gosai had seen it.

"To your left boss." the demon said. Marros spun his spear and struck out blocking the beast and attacking at the same time. He cut into it slightly. Not enough to fell it, but to cause it some pain.

"I don't like to kill unless I have to" and with that he activated a power he was almost certain he wouldn't need for this particular jaunt. The legs of Raijin. These were horse-like legs colored gold that crackled with electricity. However, that wasn't what was impressive. What was impressive was the large figure of a demon made entirely of lightning wielding a spear, similar to Marros' in its hand. This was not real. It was merely for intimidation.

The beast seemed unfazed and leapt at him, but he blocked the blow and attempted to strike it with his spear. However, the beast was too swift and dodged the spear strike. "In this case it looks like i'll have to. Or you can finish it if you want babe." he said as he deactivated the legs. They would be of no use now. The intimidation had failed. "That normally works against animals." he said half to himself.

"One brave pussy. Not scared of a prick." the demon said crudely. He had watched Constantina with admiration. Her fighting style impressed him. He was a demon and didn't like to mess around like Marros did. Gosai always went for the kill

Marros stood there and watched. The power displayed was very impressive and it was interesting seeing a woman fight, particularly an attractive woman. However, he was particularly interested in what she said. She lived to kill? That was odd for a mage of a light guild. Even in Eclipse Soul which was meant to dance on the very edge between dark and light it would seem odd. "I don't try not to kill and I don't try to kill. I just try to win " Marros said with a shrug. That was true. "If an opponent survives they might come back later, stronger and better and then I get the fun of fighting them again. If they don't survive then they were too weak to." He pointed to the scar on his eyes. "I've got the scars to prove it babe. Only the strong survive." He looked at her and was about to ask the question when Gosai decided to speak. In fact he decided to speak rather loudly.

"Who the hell are ya?" he demanded pointing a finger at the 'woman'. "Live to kill? I'd expect that from me, but it don't sound like anything a light guilder would say." He shook his head and sighed as he shrugged. "Now i ain't one to judge. And if ya don't want to answer don't, but I'm sure Marros wants to know and I know I do. Who the hell are you?" Marros however raised a hand.

"I'd love to get to know a gorgeous lady like you better, even if she's more violent then some demons, and believe me I know a few, but right now we have a job to do." he said and with that he began to head off in the direction of the dam. Gosai shrugged and followed, but kept an eye on Constantina. Marros however was keeping his eyes open for other things. There could be more cats or some other animals that might want a piece of them due to the disturbance.

Gosai had shrugged. It wasn't much of an answer, but it would do for now. Her speed was startling and the power even more so. The two cats were dealt with in a flash, but it seemed that in doing so two more had been roused as well as a urion monkey. Yet that was not the threat. The threat was the large bull-like creature. He'd heard rumours that such a creature lived in the forests, but hadn't expected to come across one. This could be tough. Particularly with a woman nearby. The beast would let out a bellow and charge. Marros would need to rely on power to overcome such a beast and after rapidly returning the spear to his back activated the Right Arm of Ifrit. He dodged out of the way of the bull charge and struck at its leg with his fist. The fact the bull was charging and its leg was suddenly taken out from it caused it to trip and slide to the ground. Marros decided to take this to his advantage and leapt at the bull for another punch, but it managed to move out of the way and he hit the ground instead. However, it wasn't quick enough to withstand the backhand he hit it round the face with causing it to bellow in pain and anger. The heat from his hand was enough to leave second degree burns.

Whilst this was going on the two cats were cautiously watching the group, looking for a moment to strike. They were scared of Constantina who had so easily taken out two of their number and they didn't want to get in the way of the bull.

Gosai had decided to deal with the monkey and threw one of his fireballs, but the monkey front flipped over it and tried to punch him in the head. Gosai blocked the blow and tried for a punch, but missed narrowly as in the monent he blocked the monkey had used it gymnastic capability to flip off of him and behind him.

"Damn monkey. I'm gonna rip ya nuts off." the demon said.

The two creatures seemed to stare at her oddly, but she felt as though this was taking too long. "I am going to go on ahead. Do not worry however, I won't leave you both to handle these creatures alone."She stated before flipping her hair back. With a slight wave of her wrist, she gained a cane within her hands. Pointing it towards the sky, a shadow had began to descend down over the area. Like a comet of sorts. "Pestilence, Famine, Decay, and Rot. Bring forth the plague master, and fester all that oppose you. Embrace darkness and impede the light, come to me, servant of the never-was, keeper of the bile! Heir of the Epidemic! Ekibyō o shūtai!" Her words were loud and seemingly calling out to the shadow that was descending from the sky. It vanished however. Materializing from the mouth of the cane itself was nothing more than a eerie smoke of sorts, whilst the cane's eyes illuminated in a disturbing purple. "Do not hurt the demon or his master, dispatch any whom obstruct your path" She stated as the gas had detached from the cane and she turned on her heel. Quite fast.

Running off to collect the objects they so desperately needed. The cat's didn't have a chance to go after her. Because an massive talon came smashing down, where one of the cats were. As the gas dissipated, a mastodon laid in it's very wake. It was simply a three-headed Komodo Dragon that is physically the same size as an woolly mammoth, with scales as dark as the midnight itself, and eyes a bright yellow. It beat it's six wings with pride for a moment. Numerous trees where destroyed. The creature's location was not close enough for it to hurt the man but it's sheer size would be hard to judge. It would yawn immensely. Before speaking in a very deep and yet polite and over posh British accent. "Understood madame, jolly good. Let us begin." One of the heads would state as the other retorted, "Quite right, let's get en er and end it yeah?" It's voice was more every-day British, before the final once, with a really harsh cockney accent would speak "Eh now, I ought ta get the ole glanies a whirl eh?" Swooping down it would attempt to swallow one of the cat's whole. If it didn't smash the first cat, it would attack the massive creature in response to it's arrival. Meanwhile it would appear that she had reached the cottage, looking at all the material. She needed to find that cart.
