He snorted at the job request of finding a puppy; of course it was typical of a puppy to get itself lost from its owners. In fact, that was so stereotypical nowadays, he bet that all puppies decided to get lost from their owners because of that stereotype. Marschal ripped the piece of paper off the job board and waved the paper around because he was not doing this mission alone. Actually, Marschy wasn't even allowed to do this mission alone, since it was a higher rank than what he currently was. So, he was forced to take someone along, though he would have much rather go on his own to do something like this. However, he quickly crumpled the piece of paper in his hand and stuffed it into his pocket, figuring no one would do it with him. Why would they go on a mission with someone who was weaker than them? Hell, he could just barely control his own magic.
"Anyone want to find a lost puppy with me? Sounds fairly easy," the mage called out solemnly. How hilarious to think bringing attention to himself would change anyone's mind in wanting to do this dumb job. The dog could perish for all he cared; besides, he ate puppies for dinner anyway, they were his worse enemies. Marschal cleared his throat and sat down on a bench to await whoever decided they would pity his sorry, weak ass. He ran a hair through his long, black hair and kicked back, elbows resting behind him on the table while he waited.
