Greetings, members of FTRP.

For those of you who aren't very familiar with me, I'll just introduce myself now: I'm Shu (formerly known as Brielle McCloud) and I was a member that once returned to this site a few months ago. If I wanted to give a full stance on how long I've been around this place - the first time under a different account that's now inactive - I would say over a year. Some of you know my old account and even met me there for the first time, and some of you only know me because of this one.

Either way, I got to meet some wonderful and interesting people here.

But with how this place is now, it's become harder and harder to enjoy everything. It's become difficult to look at this place and believe where it is now compared to over a year ago. I won't share how the mood of everything has affected me as of late (as that is rather personal and difficult to talk about in threads like this one), but the stress has been piling on more and more. From all these hurtful things that are being said to one another to the debate on which side is right, and which side is wrong. . . This place wasn't even close to where it is now a year ago. It used to be about fun and everyone was mostly having a good time if not all.

So, to make this short, I'm going to be taking a leave from this place; at least for a while. However, I can't guarantee when my own return will be. Maybe it will be within a week, a couple days, or a month. Maybe you'll see some posts from me here and there, but that'll only be it.

I am heart broken that you feel you need to leave, and a bit ashamed knowing I likely helped cause it. I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors and truly hope you return to us soon, when things are a bit more cheerful.
