The Weathersteins were not what Zaltac was expecting at all. Though slightly elderly, they appeared to still be able to do some work for themselves, especially inside where Zaltac could see the load of weather-veins and the like sitting in baskets and boxes. Sock-tubes, pinwheels, and etc. Everything under the sun that would go on top of a house or building to determine the wind's direction. There were also some that appeared to change with the weather itself, showing if it was sunny, or if rain or snow was coming in. Just many little pieces to tinker and tanker with, showing that the couple still had some kick left in them for work. They were just too old to do a lot of heavy manual labor. Which Zaltac could not blame them for, though he still had those questions to ask.
"I noticed you were requesting for help for your house, I am a mage willing to put in the effort to do what I can before the next storm." Zaltac stated, his voice cold and uncaring, though his words trying to sound respectful as possible. He just could not help it.
"Oh, thank you. We were getting worried that no one would show up, the next storm is any day now." Mrs. Weatherstein stated, as her husband got up from a desk to greet their hired worker.
"With the town in a dizzy over this next storm, it is imperative that we fix it as soon as possible. There is a lot of work to be done, but I am sure you will do great. And, hopefully, you get some help from the local workers. Right now, we just need a few things touched up so that our whole house doesn't collapse in this storm: Fix the gutters, the shingles on the roof could use a fixin, and then there is the front end here, that I am sure you can see needs fixing. Think you are up to it?" Mr. Weatherstein questioned, where Zaltac would simply nod.
"There is nothing that I cannot handle. I will get your home fixed as soon as I can, though materials are going to be needed."
"Not a problem, I already ordered the shingles and parts you will need for the gutter, the wood won't arrive till tomorrow however. It will be tight getting the front deck straightened out."
"Very well, we will do all that we can." Zaltac stated, shaking his hand with the elderly man's before leaning against the wall on the deck for the shingles and gutters to arrive.
