Welcome, Infinity Hydra members. If you are posting here, you are now participating in the first major event that will occur in this guild.
The Scenario:
It is midday at the guild, a normal day in the guild of Infinity Hydra. Some members are drinking and socializing in the tavern, while others are training in the dojo or just reading in the library. Then, a massive explosion is heard outside. All of the power is down in the guild, all of the lacrimas are shot and even the use of Tyriel's archive magic to track the movements within the hall is stunned. The hall has just been attacked by one of the Great Clans of Midi, the Narukami clan. For any of those who know anything about Midi, this is the Main or Head clan of the Thunder clans. They are a very large and powerful clan, all who use magics related to Thunder or Lightning, some even delving into pure electricity. Their colors are yellow and black, which they bear on their armor. Their clan insignia is this. The defensive barrier has gone up, but a large portion of troops have managed to get into the hall before that. It is unknown how they shut down our power, but it is likely assumed some sort of magical EMP was used.
- Tavern:
- Tavern: If you are in the Tavern, a massive explosion as occurred on the right side of the Hall. There is a 10 meter hole in the wall, with troops pouring in. The men are running in while firing bolts of lightning. They are very brutish looking men, most of which are covered in leather with some steel mixed in to conduct electricity. None of them have weapons, but they all are using lightning magic. Defend the Tavern, the brunt of the force has entered and it is up to you to defend against it.
Troop Count: 5 B ranks, 10 C ranks, 20 D ranks.
Sub-Boss: (A rank)Nariko Narukami
A large brute of a man with double the strength of a mage his rank but slightly less speed, covered in steel chains. These chains wrap around the metal gauntlets he uses to conduct his red lightning magic, and he is capable of charging up his chains with lightning magic to manipulate them. He is considered quite the powerful opponent, and it extremely brutal. He will only appear once half of the forces in this location are defeated, and at that point it is the highest ranking person in this location's duty to post that he has entered. If there is a tie, it's the person who posts first out of those two.- Nariko Appearance:
- Training Room:
- Training Room: If you are in the Training Room, you are well aware that it cannot just be broken into. Instead, men have grappled into the hall and are now bursting through the front door of the training room. You notice they are armed with lances and hammers, both of which are charged with lightning. Use the magic resistant metal walls and divisions to your advantage. The room is filled with weapons. Do not let us down.
Troop Count: 2 B ranks, 5 C ranks, 10 D ranks.
Sub Boss: (B rank) Raiden
Raiden is the prized pet of the Narukami, but not any ordinary pet; a war beast. This wolf is three times the size of an ordinary would with sharp claws and teeth, which it can channel lightning through. While he has no ranged attacks, his melee attacks with lightning are quite powerful.- Appearance:

- Library: If you are in the Library, it was just a normal day in which you were reading and enjoying your time. A portion of the troops who were headed to the Training Room diverted and entered the Library. They are also armed with lances and hammers of lightning. You must save the books!
Troop Count: 1 B rank, 3 C rank, 5 D ranks.
Sub-Boss: (C rank) Kaiji Narukami
While Kaiji is not the strongest of the forces here, he is the most skilled. And as such, he is their commander. He is in the invasion from the get go with his lightning spear, with speed beyond his rank by about 50%. He is very cocky and a swift fighter.- Appearance:
The Rules:
1) No meta gaming or God Modding: You only know what I have told you, and will only recognize the clans of Midi if you are from Midi or have read a lot about them. You do know they are attacking your home, and you must defend it. I will not be controlling these npc's, so be realistic when you fight them. Even the D ranks are more skilled then some random mission npc.
2) You will be subject to situation changes and possible reinforcements. I will be in control of these, but they will not be happening every five seconds so don't worry. I will be keeping track of the troop count, and once those hit 0 we will have won.
3) You cannot switch locations mid battle. Once a location's troop count hits 0, then you can switch locations. Whichever one you picked, you must give a reason as to why you were there and provide a bit of background of what you were doing. The explosion will occur in your first post.
4) No interfering in Ardere's fight, it is for plot purposes. But you may spectate it if you wish.
5) Only IH members and designated IH allies are allowed to participate. You may utilize NPC's from our NPC list if you wish as well.
6) There is no posting order, but you must wait until at least 3 people from your location (not overall) post, and then you can post. If there is 3 or less people in your location, just wait until the other people have posted. There is also a 48 hour skip rule per location. Make sure to post in this topic, not a separate one.

Standing in his office, a sigh escaped Ardere's pale lips. I don't visit you enough Office. Running his leather covered fingertips across the bronze wooden surface of his desk, the guild master was wearing his leather gauntlets, but not his full set of armor. In fact, he was donning the black and red kimono that he tended to wear in Hosenka or during his visits to Midi. Clarent on his hip rather than his back, the bastard sword glistened a bit in the light. He had just finished a training session in the Dojo, and had returned to his office to log a few things. While he was not the type of master to sit around and do paperwork, he had to keep track of member's missions. Promptly sitting down, his pale hands shifted around in the drawers of his desk to look for a pen. Shuffling through papers and other materials, he twisted his lips. Now where did I put a damn- It was at that moment, that the entire guild hall shook. The sound of a massive explosion pierced the god slayer's ears. And immediate feeling of adrenaline and fear coursed through his fiery veins. Hand shifting to his sword, he was barely able to stand before he caught a familiar scent. It was not the scent of an ally, but as his door came busting down he already knew that much. Unsheathing his sword with an intensity that shook the ground, as the smoke cleared he could now identify his enemy.
Raijin Narukami. Arching his dark brown eyebrows, Ardere glared at the man as he held his sword out. The slick looking man drew his katana and looked at the fire mage before charging him. The two would clash swords, flying out of the window. Glass shattering with piercing sounds, he rolled against the roof of the building attached to his before gaining his balance. Popping up to look his enemy dead in the eyes, his red flame tattoos would begin to glow. Ardere Kasai. Nice to see you again. Lightning surging around the katana, Raijin took a fighting stance. I wish I could say the same to you, what the Hell are you doing here? And why are you attacking me? Charging towards him, a fiery sword would clash with a lightning one. Sparks flying and bits of the roof cracking, the two mages stood in front of each other. I always wondered what the significance of your name was. I thought it was just a coincidence, that you were just related to a dead clan. But now I know. You are no ordinary mage who moved from Midi to Fiore, you are the heir to the Great Kasai clan. Or should I say formerly great? Gritting his teeth, the fire mage gripped his sword tight. He had recently found out his nobility, one of which could threaten the balance of power in Midi. It did not mean anything to him, he had no wished to rule or help rule a country. His only wish was to keep his family and his current country safe. I thought I made it quite clear that I wasn't interested in returning to Midi, or gaining any power. A sigh escaping from the white haired man's lips, he slung his katana to the side. White lightning zipping across the roof, he appeared as if he was going to attack. I can't risk it. You or your daughter could walk into Midi and disrupt the balance of power we have had for over twenty years. The guild master knew Raijin was crazy and brutish, but had he truly resorted to such means to keep his own power? Attacking Infinity Hydra, and his family. He knew he was a threat, but after doing so much for his home country he thought he had earned more respect for this. This only meant one thing; war. Even so, I will not allow you to harm my family. This is my home now, and I will defend it. A dark fiery aura would appear over the fire mage, and began to clash with a white lightning aura produced by the head of the Narukami clan.
