Synchronize: Lucifer

Synchronize allows the user to use a demon, spirit, animal or anything in between to battle. They do so by either letting the entity merge with their body (partially, fully or letting the entity take control) or by calling forth the entity’s spirit weapon.
The spirit weapon is a weapon unique to each entity that is used by a Synchronize mage. Depending on that entity’s appearance, habits and powers the spirit weapon will have a different form and powers. Some spirit weapons can also change forms.
Of course one can also use some of the powers from the entity they have synchronized with without having to summon their spirit weapon or merging with them.
Every Synchronize mage can freely choose which entity they want to use in their magic. However once they choose they can’t change. This is why they must choose wisely.
El’s magic is called Synchronize: Lucifer. That’s because the entity El uses is Lucifer, the Illuminated one. Despite common myths Lucifer is neither a fallen angel nor a demon. Not anymore that is. Lucifer is actually a wandering spirit. A hermit of shorts, but he is a spirit.
Now, El can either merge with Lucifer in order to gain his powers and other buffs or he can summon Lepida. Lepida being Lucifer’s spirit weapon. This spirit weapon takes the form of a katana with a black hilt and silver blade engulfed in bluish green flames.
When El merges with Lucifer he can gain various powers. Creating and controlling bluish green flames, gaining enhanced strength and speed and teleporting are only a few. Of course in order for El to have access to all of these abilities at the same time he would have to allow Lucifer to take control of his body. This is something extremely dangerous to do since Lucy is a cunning spirit.
Other than that Jackal has access to minor teleporting and flame magic without merging with Lucifer. However the true might of Synchronize: Lucifer is shown when the user either merges or summons Lepida.
- Enhanced Strength and Speed: Due to Synchronizing with Lucifer, El has strength and speed slightly above other mages (let it be a 20% if numbers are required). This is without merging with Lucifer.
- Flame Control: After Synchronizing with Lucifer, El is able to perfor flame magic. His flames are a bluish green color.
- Swordmanship Expert: Lucifer's spirit weapon, Lepida, is a sword. Thus El needed to master the art of swordmanship. He has achieved such proficiency over this art that he can execute manuvers that others can't.
- Living Spirit: Lucifer is still a living spirit, even though this makes little sense, and thus he has access to all of his skills and knowledge. He is also able to use telepathy to communicate with Jackal. The knowledge Lucifer holds is extremely vast, stretching out from simple stuff like cooking and drawing to interogation techniques and phsychology skills. (the gains access to all knowledge and skills part is what can happen if Lucifer is willing to share it using telepathy).
- Cunning Spirit: Lucy is very cunning. This is why El has to be really careful not to let him take over his bodie. In order to do that he avoids fully merging with lucifer.
- Life Force drain: El has to mantain his spirit's life, this is why Lucifer feeds on El's life force causing El to have a much shorter life span.
- Holyphobia: Due to Synchronizing with a spirit that used to be a fallen angel and a demon, El has developed a slight fear for angels and gods. Fallen angels don't bother him a bit though.
- Forshaken by Heavens: Due to Synchronizing with a spirit that used to be a fallen angel and a demon, anyone using a magic of holy element deals 20% more damage on El.
- Forshaken by Hell: Lucifer used to be a demon, but he was kicked out of hell. This is why now anyone using magic of unholy or demonic element deals 20% more damage to El.
- Hardly Mantained: El is unable to use more than 3 mergins spells in a row. He would have to take a 2post brake before using one again.
- Unique Abilities:
- Spirit Weapon:
El is able to summon Lepida at will. Lepida takes the form of an ordinary katana with black hilt and a silver blade. It deals armed damage of the user's rank +25%. Upon summoning it El can use Lepida for 4 posts. After that he has to wait 1 post to summon it again. While using Lepida all attacks of El's that utilize flames receive a 15% damage boost.
- Blade Eater:
This is an aura El can apply to every weapon he wields, including Lepida. When this aura is applied every hit that lands on the enemy's weapon will restore hp equal to 10% of the damage the weapon he is currently wielding deals. Furthermore, while this aura is active El will be able to copy the martial arts techniques of his enemies. Blade Eater can be activated at will and can remain active for as long as El wishes. Though, after remaining active for 4 posts in a row, the effect will be reversed and El would start losing hp. After deactivating Blade Eater, El would need to wait 2 posts to use it again.
- Pyrokinesis:
El is able to control two kinds of flames. Bluish green and azure flames. Bluish green flames are used as a weapon. They have a range of 10m and deal armed damage equal to the user's rank.Azure flames are used to grab stuff and deal no damage. Furthermore azure flames only have a range of 5m. As El gets stronger he gains access to more kinds of flames.
C rank: El can now use small quantities of green flames. Green flames don't deal any damage upon impact. However they explode a second later, dealing half the damage of his bluish green flames in a 2m radius.
B rank: El can use black flames. This one deal no damage by themselves but are considered to be shadows (as in an item's shadow).
- Command Flame (unlocked at C rank):
- The range of this ability is determined by the range or Pyrokinesis. The range of this ability is always twice that of Pyrokinesis. This ability allows El to control white flames, which he can programm to do stuff. Such as make flames surrounding command flames act in a certain way, like delaying their effects for a bit.
By paying 4MP Jackal can have his command flames give more detailed orders, such as who to attack and who to not attack. By paying 10MP El can have his command flames grant limited intelligence instead of just orders.
In the later case El could be able to command his flames verbally as they would be aware and since he is their master would listern to him. However this inteligence reauires an extra 2MP per post after the initial post it was used in, in order to be maintained.
If El's Pyrokinesis flames are near 5m of a command flame and provided that they are inside Command Flame's range, they can still be controlled despite being out of Pyrokinesis' range.
This ability is 100% passive. El is able to create and control command flames as he pleases, of course staying in the limitations of the ability itself.

- Name: Lucifer’s Aura

Description: El merges a part of his soul with the spirit of Lucifer. This partial merge grants him a unique aura that lasts for a good amount of time. The aura is bluish green in color and surrounds El’s body. While in this mode El receives a +10% damage boost to all his attacks. As an additional effect, El can also receive a +10% speed buff, if he pays up 10% of his hp when activating the spell, if the additional effect is added then El loses 2%mp for every post this remains active after the 4th post (this is possible with limit transcendance)
Once in this 4 posts duration El can activate a special attack. The attack is called Spriggan flame. It’s a plain pyro kinetic attack. El sways his hand shooting three fireballs the size of a head. The fireballs travel for maximum 30m, with a speed of 5m/s. Upon impact each fireball deals 3/4D rank damage. However the fireballs cannot hit the same target. El can also shoot the fireballs from the weapon he is currently holding, either that is Lepida or something entirely else.
Strengths:- Increases El’s range and the damage he deals.
- If we include Spriggan Flame, then this spell can deal a lot of damage.
Weaknesses:- Due to yet unknown reasons, while in this aura El slightly loses the ability to see colors.
- A lot of El’s hp can be drained by this spell. El can lose up to 10% by using this spell.
- Furthermore, his mp is also drained a bit too. If he uses the speed buff then the mp he loses almost doubles.
- Increases El’s range and the damage he deals.
- Lucifer's Eyes:
- Name: Lucifer’s Eyes

Description: El merges his eyes with Lucifer’s eyes. In this state Jackal’s eyes emit a faint bluish green flame and his teeth become slightly sharper. Lucifer’s Eye causes El’s vision to improve about four times being able to see up to 20km away (literally four times of a human, if we take the earth’s curvature in consideration). Providing no obstacles are blocking his vision. Adding to that El also receives a +10% speed buff, however his attacks receive a -10% damage debuff (this applies to weapons and unarmed combat not to spells).
Strengths:- El’s vision and speed improve.
Weaknesses:- The damage and speed of his attack decrease.
- Due to the eyes being close to the brain Lucifer can more easily take over El when he is in this mode.

- Luficer, Bearer of Light:

Description: This is the ultimate merge between El and Lucifer. In this mode Jackal let’s Lucifer take over his body, although he doesn’t give him full control. In a sense you could say that they are both co-operating to command El’s body.
By merging with Lucifer, El’s appearance undergoes many changes. His hair grows till it reaches his waist, his right eye gets covered by bluish green flames and his attire is changed to a samurai like armor.
To activate this spell El has to say/whisper/think etc. the word “Lightbringer”.
While in this form El gains the benefits of both Lucifer’s Aura (not the seed buff) and Lucifer’s eyes (these are halved). Furthermore he has superhuman strength and endurance as well as increased intelligence and access to Lucifer’s mind. Furthermore Jackal now has access to some of Lucifer’s powers. Currently at D rank he is able to make use of only three of them. However the strongest he gets the more of Lucifer’s powers he will have access to (+1 for every Rank higher than D).
Aura of Perish (Passive): Aura of Perish a spherical area of 10m radius and El as its center. Every post El gains HP equal to 20% of the total damage dealt to enemies inside Aura of Perish’ range. However for every 20HP he gains, he loses 1MP. HP and MP gains/losses can be reversed (gain MP, lose HP) if El wishes to, but if done so this change remains till the spell's duration ends. Also if such a change is made, his speed decreases by 5%.
Branding (Passive): Every enemy that’s been hit by El, will be marked with the Mark of the Lightbearer. Those branded by it will receive +5% damage by all of El’s attacks (this includes armed, unarmed and spells). The mark will last for 2 posts. The mark doesn’t stack.
Void Combat (Active): This is ability is like a spell. However it requires hp and not mp to be activated. Upon being activated, El will become invisible and intangible. He will remain so for at least 2 posts (it can be extended by limit transcendence). While in this mode his speed is halved, however he can’t be seen or touched by his enemies. El also gains 10mp for every post spent in this mode. Any combat action (such as attacking) will forcefully end this mode. In that case El’s speed will remain so for one more post.
Strengths:- El gets the buffs from Lucifer’s Aura and Lucifer’s Eyes. Albeit not gaining the speed buff from Lucifer’s Aura and the buffs from Lucifer’s Eyes being halved.
- El gains access to some abilities according to his rank. 3 for D rank plus one more for every rank after that. These abilities are his aces-in-the-hole.
Weaknesses:- Again El loses the ability to see colors while merged with Lucifer. However he can still see the colors of everything that is in contact with his body.
- While in this mode it is even easier for Lucifer to take over El’s body once and for all.
- The abilities El gains access to also have their own downsides.
- El gets the buffs from Lucifer’s Aura and Lucifer’s Eyes. Albeit not gaining the speed buff from Lucifer’s Aura and the buffs from Lucifer’s Eyes being halved.
- Light Flame Volley:
- Name: Light Flame Volley

Description: This spell has two versions. One is executed by El without having merged with Lucifer at all while the other is executed by El after having merged with Lucifer.
Normal Version: El positions his thumb and pointer in both hands so it looks like he is holding two guns. He then fires a volley of bullet shaped fireballs. Naturally said volley is as wide as El has positioned his arms. The volley travels for 20m with a speed of 5m/s. Upon impact the volley deals D rank damage.
Merged Version: In this version the volley travels 30m the distance, with the same speed. Moreover while El is merged with Lucifer he can use the tip of Lepida to shoot out the volley from.
Strengths:- It has quite the range.
Weaknesses:- This spell requires the user to position his fingers in a certain wat. Thus it is virtually impossible to execute this spell while holding a weapon (though depending on the weapon one may be able to do it)
- This spell requires the user to position his arms in a certain way. This doesn’t take up time but it will put the user in a disadvantageous stance.
- It has quite the range.
- Grand Swan:
- Name: Grand Swan

Description: This spell also has two versions. A non-merged and a merged one. Furthermore the spell requires the use of Lepida or any other Sword. However if the sword used doesn’t have any compatibility with Lucifer then damage dealt by this spell is halved. Lepida naturally is compatible with Lucifer as it’s his spirit weapon.
Normal Version: El starts swinging the sword he is holding, making violent and ferocious swings. He is practically going berserk. His swings are so violent that even if the opponent doesn’t get hit by the blade then they will still receive damage. If they are hit by the blade itself then they receive D rank damage. However if they are anywhere near 5m of the weapon El is swinging then they receive damage equal to the weapon’s damage.
Merged Version: While merged strikes from Grand Swan are even more ferocious. The blade is capable of dealing 1.5D rank damage and anyone near 10m of the blade will receive damage, equal to the damage the weapon El is swinging deals, +50% (this caps at C rank).
Strengths:- This spell is able to really deal a lot of damage. Especially when El has merged with Lucifer.
Weaknesses:- Allies near El will also receive damage.
- El literally goes in a rampage, thus the only thing he can focus on is swinging and swinging his sword.

- Birdcage:

Description: This is a defensive spell that can be used either on El and his allies or against
enemies. In this spell El creates birdcages out of bluish green flames.
Used on El/Allies: El is able to form a birdcage around him and/or his allies. The birdcage is large enough to accommodate four people. In this case the cage serves as a shield. Protecting El and his companions from two D rank or one C rank spell. While moving in the birdcage is possible, the birdcage itself cannot be moved.
Used on Enemies: If used on enemies then can trap up to of his opponents in a birdcage. This birdcage is big enough only for one person. Also the target has to be no more than 15m away from him in order for El to be able to trap them with this spell. While trapped his enemies will not be able to move the birdcage or step out of it. They can move on the inside of it or they can break it. Breaking it requires two D rank or one C rank spell. After two turns the birdcage disappears. This birdcage though doesn’t function as a shield.
Strengths:- A defensive spell that can be used to either block incoming spells or to trap enemies.
Weaknesses:- Movement on the inside of the birdcage is very limited.
- Furthermore the birdcage itself cannot be moved.

- Raffle Spell #1:
Name: Damage Share

Description: This spell target from 2 up to 10 targets withing a 20m radius area of El. Only living being can be targeted as targets. Under the feer of the targets appears a magic circle, with many pentagrams, hexagrams and weird runes. The circle is the same color as El's flames.
When one of the targets receives damage the others receive damage equal to 20% of that. Naturally since this would trigger the effect of the spell again, which would also trigger it a third time. However this loop can't go on beyond "turn" number three. Also, the third "round" is a special one as the damage isn't sure to be delivered, as long whips of flames lash out from El to strike all available targets. Of course the whips can be dodged. Once dodged they won't try to hit again.
Upon being marked, no matter how far from El the targets are the spell's effec remains. However if a target is more than 200m away the damage they receive will be halved. Targeting someone costs and aditional 2MP, besides the spell's cost.
The targets being damaged by people other than El will also trigger the spell's effect. However on that case the spell can stack up to two times only. Furthermore damage received by the spell's effect is reduced to 10%.
Strengths: *Has a big range
*Used to deal damage to enemies without even attacking them
Weaknesses: *Targeting takes some seconds, so it leaves El open for these seconds
*Has an additional MP cost
*If duration is exceeded, using limit transcendence, the cost is applied a second time.
- Raffle Spell #2:
Name: Flame Demon Mode
Rank: D
Type: Supportive
Duration: 4 posts
Cooldown: 6 posts
Description: This spell requires a charging time of one post. During that post, El's flames gather around both his arms and torso. During the charging period, El can fight. He can use his spells like he would when not charging this spell. However his pyrokinesis is weakened. He can not use offensive flames, being restricted to only using the ones for grabing stuff, AND the range of his pyrokinesis is reduced by 5 meters. The charging period is not part of the spells duration.
After charging is done, El needs to activate the spell by saying/whispering/think "Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust". After activation Jackal's arms and torso get covered in black colored, flame shaped tattoos, the white of his eyes' turns black and his iris turn gold.
While in this mode all damage El does is increased by 100%, of it's original value. So if a spell dealt 10HP damage and El was buffed so it dealt 50% more (15HP) and Flame Demon Mode was activated after that buff, the spell would deal 25 damage, not 30. (With fewer words: +extra damage, equal to the spell's/attack's original damage, to all of El's spells and attacks.) Additionaly his pyrokinesis range is doubled and the flames he uses appear to be wilder and seem to burn hotter.
While in this mode, El's speed drops by 10%. In addition he is weaker to Lucifer's attempts to take over his body. The activation cost aside, El requires 3MP per post to mantain this spell. That cost is removed only from the second post of the spell's duration and onwards. This extra MP loss takes place at the end of a post (meaning that any MP regen effects are applied before the MP loss). If there is not enough MP to be spent for the upkeep of the spell, then it's duration ends prematurely.
PS: this spell's activation costs 150%MP of that of other spells. (so for a D rank El it would take 15MP to activate it)
Strengths: *Original Damage and range is increased for a period of time...increased a lot.
Weaknesses: *The spell requires a charging time of one post, in which post El's fighting abillities are slightly reduced.
*While in this mode, El's speed is slightly reduced.
*This spell requires more MP to be cast and also requires additional MP to be sustained.

Name: Fire Saint Jian Dragon

Description:A Jian Dragon (asian draong), forged from El's flames, forms around one of his hands. El can either choose to launch the dragon now, dealing D rank damage to the target it hits, plus 5% of that damage to anyone near 2m the one that got hit.
Alternately he can choose to keep this flame forged dragon around his arms for four of his posts. During this posts his speed drops by 5%, but his damage is also increased by the same amount. The dragon can be launched anytime during El's fourth post. It now deals 1.5D rank damage, plus 10% that to anyone near 5m of the one that got hit.
This spell requires +30% more mana to cast. Furthermore it also requires extreme concentration. If the dragon is chosen to be held in hand till the fourth post after activation, El loses one HP for every post this spell is active. Allies can be hurt by the secondary damage effect of the spell.
PS:The dragon can travel up to 20/30 meters respectively at a speed of 5m/s.
Strengths: *Can deal more damage than normal.
*Minor damage buff.
*Good range and speed.
Weaknesses: *Costs additional MP to be cast.
*Each post of its long term duration costs 1HP.
*Minor speed debuff.
*Allies can be hurt.
