Name: Darren Woods (goes by Professor Woods, Mr. Woods, or simply “Professor”)
Gender: Male
Age: Aproximately 6.5 billion years.
Birthday: Unknown
Sexuality: Straight, uninterested.
Special Characteristics: Occasionally, his eyes may turn a translucent amber with slitted pupils; it is unknown how or why this happens, but he does have control over it.
Personality: The Professor is an old soul, forced to watch the world tick on and decay while he remains in place. Some might consider nigh-immortality a blessing, but for someone such as himself, it is a living hell. Nearly all of his life experience comes from an alternate universe—there, he was practically a god in every way but title—but in this one, he finds that his options are limited, to say the least. The first symptoms of his jaded attitude towards the world is his cynicism. His trust in humanity, and intelligent life in general, is in the lowest degree. Having watched human beings and their ancestors for most of his recent history, he quickly found that, even when presented with an option that would ultimately lead to the universal betterment of the whole, they chose to squabble, argue, and conduct warfare against one another instead. He has given up on any hope for change in the by-and-large behavior and evolution of the species, and only stayed on Earth in his home universe to toy with humankind as a whole as well as individuals. Until he committed genocide against his own race of daemonic spirits, he, for many millions of years, was the sole judiciary of his kind. He dealt punishments as required by the laws of his kind, and it was all but impossible to get him to change his decision.
He is a logical thinker, and brutally honest regardless of what circumstances he may be in. His emotions are surpressed and hidden with ease, making it easy to assume that he simply does not have them. Among his kind, he was revered as a scholar and scientist outside of his duties as the judiciary; he was perfectly fluent in mathematics and sciences of many fields. After his act of genocide, his curiosity began to turn to the psychology and social behavior as humanity came to fruition. The professor is also secretive; he tells no one of his true age, what he has seen, or what he was capable of before finding himself stranded in the world of FT-RP. Territorial and impatient, he will often be snappish and unpleasant to people who pester him continually or invade his personal space, and appreciates timeliness as opposed to procrastination. As unsavory as he may be, it should be noted that he is not a scrooge: at the very least, he is able to be generous...so long as the individual on the receiving end leave him be afterwards. His scientific curiosity, occasionally, may take a turn into the darker realm of sadism; when these phases strike him, he will often keep pushing someone until they break and beyond if he is too focused on the experiment at hand rather than what he is doing to another person.
In combat, Mr. Woods is a tactician. He will analyze and study the environment around him to make the most efficient use of the limited magical resources he finds himself with. If he finds himself under the command of another, he will often do what is asked of him, if begrudingly, but will likely complain of being restricted or strategies not working in their favor, and despises incompetency. As a leader, he is strict but fair in his dealings with his subordinates.

Likes:
- Silence- As someone who cannot stand the incessant chatter and small talk that is so prominent among humankind, it is understandable that he would prefer to spend his time in peace and quiet.
- Meditation- Going along with silence, meditation not only allows Mr. Woods to focus his thoughts, but also allows him to explore what extent of his former power he retains in this realm.
- Mathematical, Physics, and Magical Equations- As someone as predisposed to the logical functions of magic and the sciences of using it, the Professor can often be seen contemplating the mathematical and theoretical worlds behind the use of arcane energies...often without paper or pencil.
Dislikes:
- People- His dislike of people and reasoning behind it should be fairly obvious by now.
- Taking Orders- His dislike of taking orders often comes from the fact that he not only killed off the leaders of his former society, but that he is far more suited for a management or leadership role than to be a subordinate.
- Religion/Religious Beliefs- He finds the very idea of religion abhorrent; given that he was alive at the time of the creation of the Earth (in his home universe, at least) and watched it develop without any sort of guiding hand, it is very easy to see that he can become irrate when someone spouts off that there was a creator.
Motivations:
- Getting back to his own universe- As someone who is not a native of this world, it should be obvious that he would want to return home at one point or another.
- Curiosity- Since he’s stuck here for an indeterminate amount of time, he might as well learn a thing or two...maybe experiment on a few people.
- Self-Preservation- He does want to be able to survive his time here, and given his significantly lowered magical prowess, he’s going to have to pick his battles wisely...
Fears:
- Death- Not in the physical sense; as someone who has lived for several billion years and has had his fair share of physical deaths, he is more concerned with the inevitable decline and decay of his soul. It is quite a long way off, measured in billions of years, but it isn’t a pleasant thought.
- Losing Close Ones- Having lived for so long, it is inevitable that he had lost so many loved ones that it now seems pointless, and he has a subconcious fear of ever having to relive that pain.
- Losing himself- Having seen many of his kind devolve into savages and mindless brutes, his mind is always wondering in the background whether the same fate will befall him.
