The Sweet Taste of Jealousy [Job/Solo]

Lightly the extremities of Tenchi’s right appendage his index finger and middle finger tapped against light complexioned flesh of his temple as he reflected on the particular task which he had been entrusted to complete for a certain client who wished for the assistant of dark wizard no only a wizard who possessed this particular alignment could complete this task. The task was a rather simplistic in nature for any wizard who had no qualms about ending the life of another living creature and was completely apathetic to the plight and suffering of others or perhaps they enjoyed the suffering of others. Either way, the task was to end the life of another male individual who was the client’s rival to obtain the affection of a certain woman. No, the client’s rival had already won the heart of this maiden but the client still lusted and desired her. To end the life of the client’s rival was only one part of the mission at hand,  the second part consisted of breaking the woman’s heart by either forging a few documents, letters, to state that he didn’t care about her or was having an affair. As the thoughts of his client’s request went through his mind, a mischevious grin had found itself plastered across his pale-complexioned visage before a  bit of laughter, a chuckle, escaped his lips. “So much fun! This is why I love humans so much! For the sake of a one-sided love, humans would gladly sell their souls to obtain it! For the sake of a one-sided love, humans would gladly slay their rivals! It is simply wonderful! The world is in motion cause of the desires of those wonderful creatures known as humans!”

Over his head, the warm summer sun shone down upon him from the pale blue heavens above and on this particular day only a few scatter clouds were gliding across the sky. The same of these white clouds could be simply compared the bunches of pink cotton candy that one would obtain at a carnival or at an amusement park. The birds were chirping in the tree-tops above as Tenchi spun around a bit in place for he found himself possessing an unmatched moment of enjoyment before he regained his own composure attempting to the quell the excitement he was feeling at the moment. It was because at this particular moment in time that Tenchi was supposed to be meeting his client in the flesh for it seemed the man wanted to offer him a bit more information regarding the target. Tenchi had happily agreed to this because he always enjoyed meeting with the individuals who would sell their souls  in order to obtain what they desired. They had agreed to meet on this particular trail through a forest which was on the outside of Cedar as well. The bush rustled before a man emerged and it seemed like he was out of breath. Tenchi had assumed he had taken this approach of walking among the foliage to prevent anyone from seeing him.

“Hello.” The man stated as he wheezed a bit until he finally caught his breath. “You are the wizard who accepted my request right? My name is Arthur Love. Well, I thought you might need a few documents with his hand-writing on them in order to forge his handwriting.” He handed Tenchi a few curled up papers. Tenchi’s dark hazel eyes gazed at the man before him as he noted his average appearance and brown hair but he made Tenchi smile with his unique reaction or rather lack of one. This man was an ordinary citizen who seemed not to be bothered by the fact that he was basically sentencing another man to die. Tenchi then took the papers not uttering a word. “He will be coming up this trail soon too. Just do what the request told you and you will get your money, dark wizard. Also his name is Luthor Armstrong.” He stated as he went back into the forest to avoid being seen. Tenchi understood what type of person he was working for which amused him a bit. He had expected him to be a coward but this guy seemed pretty determined.

Tenchi’s gaze then shifted from bushes back to the trail which the individual he was hired to murder. On cue, this individual was walking up the trail. The trail lead to a small field of flowers so Tenchi assumed Luthor was there to prepare for his date. It didn’t really matter to Tenchi because soon enough Luthor would be a corpse upon the ground. “Hello! I haven’t seen you around town.” The man said happily before Tenchi just walked up and slice his throat with his knife. A shocked expression graced the man’s face as his blood came out before he fell to the ground. He didn’t know why but his life had ended in a flash. “If it wasn’t for the fact, that I am on a time limit now. I would play and toy with you a bit more.” He said putting his pocket-knife back into his pocket. Tenchi then proceeded to put his gloves on so he wouldn’t leave any fingerprints as he stole the man’s money. He had to make this look like a random mugging after all.

He changed into his spare clothing before heading back out to the object of the client’s affection before making a stop in order to forge the letters. With the letters in tow, Tenchi made it to the woman’s house. He had figured out that this was the time.  He knocked on the door  and a woman came out. “Hello. You are Miss Sasha, correct? These letters were accidentally delivered to my house and I noticed the name on them.” He stated. “No, you have the wrong house.”  After all this woman’s name was Natasha. “I see… Well, they are from a man known as Luthor Armstrong. I heard that you two were dating and I thought they were meant for you.” Tenchi handed them to her and before he knew it. The woman started to look at the letters. Humans were such interesting characters when love was involved. A hurt expression was plastered onto her face as tears began to fall down her cheek. “He… He… lied to me.”  She said before she slammed the door. Hurt. Anger. Betrayal.  Her heart had been broken. Tenchi left the doorstep where he saw his client in wait. “Your rival is dead and her heart is broken. My job here is done so have your fun.” Tenchi stated before he left the town after receiving his payment.
