Julius shows his gratitude

It was a typical day at the Fairy Tail guild hall people were either fighting, drinking, laughing or either doing it all at once. And then there was Julius standing in a corner off the guild hall. Ah! This should be a nice spot to practice! Julius putted down a music Lacrima and turned on the music and started dancing One two three four... No! come on Julius focus! the Fairy tail guild hall wasn't really a great place to focus.

Julius needs to do this dance right or else Julius would fail to hold up the tradition!

(OOC: So I noticed it was really silent around the Fairy Tail guild so I thought maybe a little social thing would brighten things up. P.S. Didn't really know what to do so sorry if this comes out a bit off lame :S)

Gamon pushed open the large doors to the guild hall. He was greeted by the familiar sights and sound of the day to day life with in the Fairy Tail guild hall. Small fights over something stupid. Guild mates drinking, laughing, and overall enjoying life. Seeing that nothing has changed since he has been out on a job was a relief, but Gamon was on a mission. A low rumbling could be heard coming from his stomach. Gamon needed food. He did pack enough when he left for his job. Gamon hadn't eaten since breakfast time, and the current time slowly approached dinner time. How was he even able to walk being so malnourished was a mystery.

He made a B-line straight to the bar. He prayed that they still had food left or that he even had the money to pay for the meal. "Alright, I need food and I need it now." The bartender didn't even bother to ask Gamon what he would prefer to eat. The bartender disappeared into the back room. Moments later they came out with a delicous looking steak and a bowl of scrap iron. Gamon perked up at the sight of the meal. Nothing hit the spot more like meat and iron. Gamon had his meal done in no time.

Sitting at the bar he looked around the guild hall. He thought back to the first time he came to this guild. How stanged it seemed, that people from the same guild would fight each other for no reason. That opinion quickly changed as the more time he spent at the guild hall. He then noticed a familiar face off in one of the corners of the guild hall. Julius was over in the corner, he looked to be trying to dance... maybe? Gamon was curious as to see what he was actually doing. As he made his way over to Julius, he noticed the music lacrima sitting on the ground next to him. "Hey Julius! What you doing over here?"

"Aya!"

The youngest human mage in Fairy Tail, Sorano Granon flopped into a corner, exhausted to the core. She had spent nearly an hour attempting to teach a fellow mage how to conjugate French verbs and her pupil had been impossible. "Even an exceed like you can understand something simple as that, right, Hoshi-chan?" she asked, glancing down at the tabby exceed. The problem with the letter mage, though, was that she couldn't always understand that though she might be a precocious girl who had begun learning algebra at the age of seven, other people might have not been quite as lucky as her.

"Ehhhh..." the exceed stuttered, unsure of what to say, " I dunno..."

"But you do know how it works at least, yeah, Hoshi-chan?"

Now, the poor exceed was barely four years old, and this was impossible for her cat brarn to understand. "S-sorano-chan, I have no idea what conjugating verbs means!" she wailed.

As this drama went on, music suddenly began to blare. Glancing up, Sorano groaned as she saw the ever-annoying Julius dancing to it. She stood up slowly, and walked over, seeing her job partner Gamon there as well. "Ah, hello, Kinzoku-san, Tykva-san, may I ask if you know what Seas-san is doing?" The letter mage didn't want to talk to Julius, knowing he would probably blab his head off at her and address her with the honorific "Chan" again which sde absolutely hated.

When Julius was still sitting on the ground he noticed Gamon asking if everything was alright. He was quickly followed by Sorano a girl that had a sort off dislike towards Julius. Hi Gamon-kun and Sorano-chan! Julius is practicing a dance. Julius will tell you why. You guys may already know that Julius comes from a island where pirates can go on a retirement or take break from being a pirate. At around this time off the year there is a festival on the island where everyone needs to show a dance where they express their gratitude to their friends. Since Julius doesn't have the time to travel back to the island Julius has to perform his dance at the guild hall of course Julius doesn't mind because Julius wants to show you and the rest off the guild his gratitude for all the kindness you guys gave to Julius. The other thing is Julius needs to ask Master Heero if he can use the stage but Julius hasn't seen Master Heero all day. And the last thing is Julius has kind off stage fright of course Julius performed on his island but this isn't Julius's island so Julius is afraid on how the other members react...

Sorano raised an eyebrow at Julius' explanation, then pointedly said, "I thought you always say you aren't a pirate."

Hoshi nodded, her eyes wide. "You had to dance for scary pirates on an island, that's scary! Do you have to get looked at by a bunch of people while you dance? It's all so scary-sounding..."

Sorano sighed softly. If Fairy Tail was a family, Julius would be something like that annoying cousin. Though they were annoying, cousins were family who always meant good in the end. "It's nice of you to do this for us, Seas-san, and I'm sure Heero-san would let you use the stage. But don't be scared, since everyone's supposed to be family here, huh?"

Gamon stood their patiently. Listening to what Julius had to say. Gamon drifted off into thought, as his fellow guild mate talked about his home. The thought of a bunch of pirate ships docked next to an island full of pirates, was kinda scary to to him. Just the sight alone would have made any sailor tremble. The festival itself sounded fun. Gamon tried to picture how everyone on the island drank, eat, and apparently danced. He figured it would be like daily life at the guild hall. Everything except all the dancing.

Responding to both his guild mates, "Yeah she is right we all are basically family here." A thought popped into his head. "Hey, could we help with your stage freight in any way." As soon as he said that he regretted it. Gamon prayed that he wouldn't get the idea that they would join him in the dance.

"Ehhhh?!?!" Sorano yelped, startled at the guild master's comment while politely accepting a simple fruit juice, "I mean, I don't think I'm one to dance, Heero-san..." Though she sounded polite and calm, the poor girl was freaking out inside. She was remembering her time at the Arts and Literature academy she had gone to in her younger days, where everyone had been required to take dance class and perform onstage. She could barely restrain herself from burying her face in her hands as she recalled the embarrassment of her 10 year old self's performance. Though it had already been three years since then, the memory was still fresh in the girl's mind.

Hoshi, however, had completely freaked the second Heero and Garfield had entered, dfcing behind Sorano. "Ah, eh, Sorano-chan, it's them again!" The look on the poor exceed's face was pure horror at the sight of that dreaded cat. She had developed a case of "Garfield-phobia", so somehow over her time at Fairy Tail.

Oh Julius isn't a pirate! Julius's parents were pirates! Julius responded to Sorano's question. Gamon asked if he could help Julius with his stage fright Oh that won't be necessary Gamon-kun Juliu- Before Julius could finish his sentence Heero would greet the trio with lunch Thank goodness Julius was starving!

While Julius was eating he heard Heero's exceed Garfield taunting him to making a move and Heero did. *snrk* hahahahahaha Master Heero that looked so funny hahahahahaha! Thanks to Heero Julius was starting to feel a little less scared and he had the feeling he could dance without passing out on stage.

On Heero's cue he gathered a band together to play music for Julius and they would wait for Julius's instructions. Julius is sorry but he won't need your guidance. Julius has a music lacrima. The band would nod and would quickly put their equipment away. Julius walked to the guild's sound system and connected his music lacrima to it. When Julius got back he would see a some girl members off the guild standing besides Heero and he said they are Julius's back up dancers. While Julius didn't require any he would let them participate for Heero's sake. Julius would quickly learn the girls some moves they could do and now it was time for the real deal. Julius took a deep breath Alright! This one is for you mom and dad...

Dance:

Julius knew that the dance was a bit girly but he didn't care he wanted to express his gratitude towards the guild for all the kidneys they gave him in a way only he could with doing something bizarre and crazy.

Gamon graciously excepted the burger and a bag of chips for himself, and took the hot chocolate that the guild master brought. Gamon loves most hot drinks, especially hot chocolate. He looked down at the wide eyed, black cat standing at his feet. He saw that the Tykva was eyeing up the vanilla shake. He grabbed the milkshake from Heero. He knelt down and offered the shake to the black cat. "Here. Do you want it?" Her tail started to wiggle with excitement. "Yes! Thank you." She took the vanilla shake and went to town on eating it. 

He tried his best not to burst out in laughter at the sight of the guild master dancing. It was over just as fast as it begun. He quickly gathered the band together for Julius to show the guild what he could do. Within a few moments Gamon was standing in front of the stage waiting for the preference. Heero walked up and stood beside him and began to talk to him. Gamon slightly blushed at the thought of someone knowing that he maybe able to dance. He was about to respond when he was interrupted by Heero talking to Sorano.  

He looked towards the stage and and noticed the band was packing up their instruments. Gamon thought for a second that Julius might have backed down. That his stage fright got the better of him. He looked closer and noticed that the water mage was messing around with sound system. Gamon guessed that he was fully committed to this performance. He watched the whole dance routine. He wasn't quite sure what to say. I was kinda flamboyant. Everyone around him started to clap so he followed suit. He shouted out above the noise, "Good job, Julius!"
