Personality:

Personality: Edward's two main traits are his lack of intelligence and his fearlessness. He can be amazed by the most simplest of things such as an ant hill and be confused about things such as digging a hole right next to another he has already dug and question why that hole has been filled. He has a liking for monsters and weird creatures, especially dragons. He dreams of one day seeing a real dragon. He even at times appears to strain himself whenever he tries to think of a long and logical plan to deal with situations, complaining that his is going to pop off if he keeps thinking. Edward is also pure of heart. He can never turn down someone in need or kill anyone unless he absolutely has to. He can also be very jolly, and enjoys a good laugh (Although it is easy to make him laugh from childish jokes while some, if not most adult ones go over his head.) He also enjoys a good party, especially if it has tons of food. He also has a slow reaction time when it comes to things involving cold temperatures. He can also hold a grudge over the most simplest of things even in the most direst of situations, such as chasing someone who accidentally stole his food 5 months ago while being in the middle of a life or death battle. He also cares deeply for his nakama and will put his life on the line for them. He is also not above pulling pranks on authorities, and sometimes his friends.

However, on the battlefield, it is a whole other story. He has been known to dodge fast projectiles such as bullets with little to no problem. You can say that his instincts and behaviors are similar to that of a wild animal's which goes well with his straightforward view of the world. You can say he is much more of a genius inside of battle compared to how he is outside of it. He can quickly discover his opponent's weaknesses and attempt to use that against them to gain the upper advantage. He will tend to break out into a big grin if the fight he is taking part in his good since he loves a good scrap once in a while. He has also shown signs of tactical and innovative skills, as he is able to use what's in his surrounding to help him gain the upper edge in fights. He has never been the kind to follow orders in and outside of battles however, but when the time calls for it, he will most likely follow the orders half way through, but on rare occasions, maybe even all the way through. He seems to have some leading skills however, being able to observe the enemies behaviors which can help him with giving out orders on how the threats can be taken care of. Edward also has a sense of honor as he wouldn't allow anyone or anything to interfere in someone else's fight. He will show restraint during times like these and grow furious if someone or something interferes unless it was absolutely necessary.
