Let's Bring This Back!! ~

Okay, so once again this is a brought in on response of what has happened in the course of 24 hours. No do not worry, it is not negative or anything likewise. I actually have a suggestion to bring something back that may return spirit into the site once more.

Okay, if you will look on the right hand side panel, towards the bottom, there is the Anchor for Sorcerers Magazine!!
Sadly it is not quite updated as much as it should be... this is due to the leaving of old dev team members and the lack of GFX artists...

This is something i want to personally appoint myself to doing. Let me, and whoever else would like to join me bring back the Sorcerers Magazine. To issue one out EVERY MONTH!! That is what i said, every month.. or at least every two. I can do the GFX well enough! ( I'm def not as good as shuhei, but i can make pages simple enough, you have seen my work!! )
WE can cover new upcoming events
cover all the new guilds that have come up, bring special insight as to a recent mage that has hit H rank ( Deca ).

I feel like this can be a real good start to rekindling the fire of this site!!
Let me work with the Dev Team to bring back the magazine! You all wont be disappointed. This is one thing i feel i can be really good at, i don't want to become a staff member again but i do want to help the site in a way that i can.

That is exactly what i mean! If a part of the dev team focus's on the magazine alone i can whip one out in a week easily. As long as i can form a info go getters. If they do have one being worked on, i am more than serious when i say let me help. I have 7+ hours a day to spare on this thing.
If it was Okura Jin, Dynaon, and Iza that were working on it get ahold of me!

I helped make the old ones with Alye.

I'd be down for this to come back period---even if I'm not involved (because I'd like to see Tyriels style). Just remember to make it focus on current events IC! That was always how it was meant to be done! Like the real Sorcerer's Magazine in Fiore.

Also it's a great way to promote membership for Guilds!

Maybe a page for Each Guild outlining reasons to join them ect. That would be dope! Especially art wise! A page dedicated to each Guild would be totally awesome.

Although I have no idea what's going on with Lamia Scale (literally no idea about members or leadership).

Seriously though, this is something that was discussed a bit ago in a suggestion thread I think. Was back when the Wanted Ads forum was suggested I think. It had an idea where people would be interviewed on things they have done ICly. It wasn't going to be only characters with fame either like Aces, anyone with a position, etc but could be used to just interview members for stuff they had done in something like a event or discussing their magic and how they use it, etc. Least thats what I got from it.

I like the idea and think that we can get a group a GFXers together to do this to make something really amazing for the site to look at. Hopefully articles don't get cut off half way through them though like Seijin did to an article I wrote in the past for Sorc Mag... *shakes fist at the Panda*

I think we can make an advertisement for dark guilds looking like "warning this is a public announcement, if you see anyone with (insert dark guild) Mark remain calm and alert the nearest Rune Knight station near you." It really makes the dark guilds feel like the villains they were born to be, but as it stands right now Dark guilds are really just dark guilds they have no real villainy feel to them they are just slightly less restricted in what they do. But if you add things that make them feel like dark guilds they might start to feel like dark guilds. Last time I heard of the Sorcerers magazine they were interviewing darkies like they were legals, it doesn't seem right that way, I feel that darkies need to feel more like darkies people have to fear them a little more, or make the boneheads (no offense to those who may feel offended) start to go around looking for darkies to fight. Though you should probably ask the dark GMs if they want that kind of publicity.

@Heero: Last I heard Linx was GM, but I haven't seen hardly any else beyond that, and Lamia Scale is certainly infamous for not being in the cbox, so who knows maybe they have an army and we just don't know about it.

Well i can't fit all guilds into one issue, i think over the course of a few months i can cover all of them, like two each mag, cause there is other stuff too. Cirven, your on the dev team, who do i gotta talk to, to make this happen? I am more than serious when i say i want to make this happen. And shoot me if i'm wrong, i think i am perfect for the deal. I have alot of time outside of work to do this, im a gfx artist, plus i have the right amount of leadership skills to put things together. Shoot i put together a IH event within a week.
I already have a few mages in idea for interviews if they will have me haha.

I want to also include both darkies and Legals, maybe do a bit on the RK aw well.. I really want to talk about upcoming events, especially like a news article that they would be reading IC. This summer will bring on swimsuit editions, OH!! And a special holiday release with a featured cooking portion ** totally be a troll page though ** ^^

I know the dev team was meant to be turning this from weekly to monthly/quarterly as tbh most of the time there aren't a lot of 'major' reportable things happening every week. We aren't bound to follow cannon in having in weekly. However, weekly is also fine.

There isn't really anyone you need to talk to in particular Tyriel. Just work on it submit it to the admins/staff for review and an admin will put up the new links. I think that should work. Don't quote me on that as i'm not 100%.

I would suggest forming a team for it as that way you can have interviewers and the like. I'd suggest the admins form a 'group' that has access to a board where the sorceror's team can work.
