Oshibana Railways (Fairy Tail/Private/Tatsu)

Hikari was prepping for her first mission since she joined the guild. At the moment, she was making sure she had everything. Although, doing this while they were still in Magnolia would be much better, as her and her team-mate had already taken the train to Oshibana. The mission was simple mostly. Just help the town with their Dark Wizards and they will reward you handsomely. Hikari was smiling as she though about the amount of money she will make from this job.

She then opens the note that was given to her. Please meet me in the town square. After you leave the train station it should be straight ahead. I'll be on one of the benches. -Mayor Hikari was impressed that they were able to get this important message delivered before they departed on their mission. As they leave the train station, they failed to notice, the sheer amount of people in masks watching them.

The town itself is very depressing. You can tell that they are sad because the dark guild destroyed its reputation. The streets have almost no life to them. It's as though the dark guild runs the town itself. Hikari looks at Tatsu, frowning. We really need to help these people... Fast. They get to the town square but Hikari is having no luck spotting the mayor, Maybe Tatsu will have better luck than I will.

"Hey kid' get down from there!" a voice would call. Meanwhile Tatsu would look down and sigh. "Why must everyone ruin the fun?" he said out loud...although his voice was lost with the amazing amount of wind that buffeted him as he stood a top of the train. The young man jumped back into the train from his previous perch. Landing in the middle of the aisle people looked both shocked and slightly annoyed but Tatsu paid no attention to them. He sighed and stuck his hands in his pockets, casually walking back to his seat. However just as soon as he had sat down it seemed as though the two had arrived to their destination.  Tatsu laughed at the irony and stood back up, he would let his partner exit first. It was the gentlemanly thing to do after all!

The smile never left his face even as they exited the train. He would put an arm around Hikari and say out loud "Gee this place looks a bit down huh?" it seemed as though he didn't quite grasp the seriousness of the situation or was it that....he was fairly confident that this state of despair would only be temporary. It was likely the latter If he remembered correctly , Tatsu would recall the main point of this mission was to take care of some Dark Wizards. This was in fact his first actual mission but during his travels he had run into a lot of danger so he wasn't to afraid.  Not to mention he also had Hikari with him, he had never seen her in battle but the way she carried herself...it seemed to exude an aura of responsibility and strength. From her first impression she seemed to be the perfect combination of power and grace.

With his arm still around he would lean in close to her ear and whisper "Don't worry we got this" .  He wasn't quite sure what kind of intelligence the enemy may have gathered but he felt it was best to act like a normal every day tourist...then again what tourist would visit a place so dreary? It didn't matter to much to Tatsu either way.

Hikari notices a male looking at her and Tatsu and he begins to wave them to come over. That must be the mayor. The mayor was a chubby man, who was also short is build. He was wearing a top hat and a suit. Both were purple to match. Maybe the dark guild is attacking because they are trying to fix his sense of style. Hikari clutches her sword as she walks over to the mayor. Unbeknownst to the pair, the mayor had a bug planted on him. The mayor turns back for a moment and speaks. I'm luring them now... Get into positions. He smiles devilishly and turns back, smiling with glee.

Hikari looks around and becomes suspicious as she tells Tatsu, Be on your toes... She whispers, I feel like there are people ready to pounce on us. Hikari stares at the mayor, while walking slightly slower. [color=#ff33ff][i]Be careful should this be a trap. For all we know, the mayor could be dead, and the dark guild is luring us. Hikari looks at the cloudy sky and thinks upon a dozen more scenarios that could happen.

Hikari finally reaches the mayor and introduces herself. Hello, my name is Hikari and this is Tatsu. We come representing Fairy Tail. Hikari smiles. Ah! Welcome to Oshibana. I'm Mayor Desiere! I hope you can help us with our dark mage problem... Hikari looks at the bushes as they rustle. Oh for Pete's sake! You blew your cover you imbecile! Hikari grabs her sword and prepares to fight. She quickly turns around and grabs the "mayor" using him as meatshield. Show yourself! The "mayor" chuckles darkly, Listen here, you won't be able to defeat us. Good luck and have fun in hell! GET THEM!

'Monster Dice' :

Tatsu's ears had been perked and his guard was up the whole while they were off the train, of course he wouldn't let anyone know that, even his partner. As it turned out the mayor was either a fake or a traitor to his own city, which would have been a real shame, there was no mercy for traitors as far as Tatsu had a say. As he was getting ready to beat down the mayor he heard a rustling and apparently some idiot had blown their cover. As the enemy jumped out Tatsu smiled widely as his emerald eyes began to fix itself on the new enemy.

The enemy was clearly a wizard however their figure was covered by a long cloak that was as black as the night sky itself, In contrast to this the wizard wore a shining gold mask. Tatsu rushed in without a moments notice, not bothering to wait for a plan whether or not they did have a bargaining chip with this so called "mayor" under Hikari's control. As Tatsu ran towards the enemy he unsheathed his weapon. It was a long broad sword , the kind with a double edged blade. He wielded it with a single hand which was sort of impressive considering this type of blade was typically heavier than most.  

It seemed as though the enemy wizard was taken by surprise due to Tatsu's agility and ability to close the gap between them so quickly. Tatsu swung the blade without hesitation aiming to lob off one of the wizards arms but they had gotten away just in time. To evade this forward assault the wizard jumped into the air and away from Tatsu.  During it's evasion it cast a spell. A brown magic circle appeared instantly and from it a large shard of Earth was shot out at Hikari. It seemed the Wizard didn't care too much for the Mayor's well being. Was his life meaningless or did he have some sort of trick up his sleeve?

Tatsu chuckled  as he missed his attack. "Damn! Don't run now, we are just getting started! " he yelled .  This seemed like some sort of game to him!

As the 'mayor' reveals that he has been working with the dark guild, Hikari sees the guild members jump out of the bushes. Quickly, she pulls out her sword and throws the mayor at the large rock spell that was casted at her. The mayor shatters the rock and screeches as she jumps on his body whilst in the air to attack the enemy that casted the spell. She slashes twice with her sword before landing. The slashes injured the dark mage and it knocked him out. Hikari looks around and glares before looking at Tatsu and saying, We are finally at the interesting part. Prepare for battle.

Hikari smirks and begins to run around the enemies. She reverse grips her sword as she does a aerial while placing her hand on the ground. This places a magic circle on the ground as Hikari smiles. If Tatsu can bring most of them near the magic circle we will be able to knock out most of them. Hikari smiles as she slides away from the magic circle, narrowly avoiding a fire spell. She gets to a halt as blue energy swirls around her, raising her hair as she stands up straight. I'm gonna have to fight seriously for you don't I? Hikari slides her hand against her blade, which turns it blue. She is ready for them to come at her as her sword begins to activate. Quickly she runs and slashes at one of the men in the mask. He quickly goes down. You really should be trying harder...

Tatsu watched as Hikari performed her movements with such grace and agility, this made him happy. Now he knew she was able to take care of herself which meant this wouldn't turn into a babysitting job. "Looks like I can fight seriously too !" he said joyously . Tatsu slammed his fists together, knuckle to knuckle as a magic circle began to expand from between his fists. This is when green lightning shot out from the circle and began to violently cascade around the boys body. His hair began to stand on end a little bit as this veil of electric energy danced around him. This was probably one of his most favorite spells! Tatsu was not immune to lightning but he certainly was use to it through all his training. The lightning had shocked and invigorated his nerves, in this state he was able to move twice as fast and his reflexes were well beyond the average human being. His eyes locked on to the nearest masked wizard as he charged for him... or her. It was sort of hard to tell with those masks and dark cloaks but whoever it may have been would be going down fairly shortly! Tatsu had appeared much sooner than the wizard would have imagined and in this time Tatsu planted his foot straight on the wizards face and kicking himself off and into the air. The poor wizards mask was shattered as they were launched back into the bushes. Performing a twisting movement Tatsu threw his hand out, another magic circle appearing and a green bolt of lightning shooting fourth with near perfect aim! The bolt shot out and took out a fire hydrant which then began to erupt high pressured water at the remaining wizards. Some fell over slipping from the water and the pressure but others seemed to be unaffected.

The battle raged on for another twenty or so minutes. The small section of the city was somewhat...broken but the enemy wizards and the fake mayor had been disposed of. However at a great cost, during the battle Hikari had been injured greatly. She would no longer be able to carry out the mission, Tatsu had to go through this one on his own. Tatsu sat by a camp fire in a forest outside of the city, after that ambush staying in a local motel would have been a pretty bad idea. He poked the fire with a stick as he looked up to the sky, staring at the full moon. "Well that was some welcoming..."  he said sighing. The town was quite the mess, it was
such a shame what wizards were capable of...overthrowing an entire city. It was sickening how they used magic to do evil. It was times like this that made Tatsu wonder what it would be like if the world was without magic. Such a silly notion it was .  He pushed these thoughts aside and began to think of a plan. If he could find out where this guild was located he could attempt to take them all out at once. From the look of the wizards they sent it shouldn't be too hard...then again he was alone. Could Tatsu really take on an entire guild? Tatsu smiled as he stood up, there was only one way to find out! However he couldn't go in there guns blazing, he wasn't strong enough for that just yet...he had to take them out once by one. Assassination wasn't really his style but if it's what he had to do then he would see this mission through to the end!

Tatsu kicked dirt into the fire and made sure it was out. Before going to be he had decided to run surveillance and do a perimeter check. It would have been a shame to be followed all the way out here. A shame for the enemy guild that is... Arming himself with his sword Tatsu jumped into a tree and made his way through the forest silently up until he happened upon....

As he looked down from the tree he remained silent, hearing chatter not to far from the area.
"You idiot you lost the trail didn't you?!"  The darkness masked Tatsu's confused face, for now he would just wait and listen.

"Well you're the one who decided to lte him get a head start! I knew he'd get too far ahead! I dont know why we even bothered coming out here!"  

"Listen I told you, if we manage to catch this guy, i bet the guild will finally start teaching us magic as a reward!"  

The conversation stopped after a while. "Hmm so I was being followed..." the wizard thought to himself. It appeared that these two creeps were just average humans. If they couldn't use magic then neither would Tatsu, well not directly.  there was no fun in that! Tatsu pointed his hand outward as a green bolt of lightning shot forward from his position and jolted straight into a nearby tree. The two men below were startled as the green flash caused them to look up just in time to notice a large tree branch plummeting towards them. They both jumped out of the way, barely avoiding the branch. "Well they are fast I'll give them that" Tatsu said as he jumped down from his perch landing on the ground in between the two. His sword was already unsheathed as he smiled. The night was dark but you could clearly see his emerald eyes piercing through the nights umbra atmosphere. They almost seemed to be glowing!
