She sat there in the center of a large rock. What seemed to be a calm aura surrounded the girl as she sat there cross legged in silence.

Well, that is what one would assume.

No, at this time that was not the case. At this time Lamya was in meditation. A shimmering almost transparent circle surrounded the girl as she sat there. The purple locks of hair that had escaped her bun faintly wavered around her face as waves of magic passed by them. Small golden and silver streams of her magic flickered through the air playing with the hem of her skirt and other loose items around her body. But the silver and gold streams began to gather into small balls, some the size of marbles and others the size of tennis balls. The luminescent balls of magic began to circle around the mage as she continued to sit there, first beginning slowly and then starting to speed up. The loose hairs that had escaped her bun were now beginning to float upwards as the balls of magic began to grow is size, now being about the size of a softball.

This time of meditation carried on for a few more minutes until the gold and silver balls began to fade away into nothing but sparkles. The blue orbs of the girl sitting on the rock fluttered open and a smile glanced upon her face. The purple haired girl turned to the side and peered over the edge of the rock looking slightly underneath it. There she spotted him. Honey. Her best friend and self proclaimed protector. The little fluff ball was sleeping and though Lamya hated to wake him up, the deed had to be done. Reaching down she poked his cheek and giggled softly as the bunny turned away. Reaching down again she slid her hands under him and scooped him up gently enough that she would not wake him before the girl grabbed her bag, swinging it over her shoulder. Readying herself she was forward bound but she came to a
stuttering halt as a loud noise rebounded through the trees.

    a true son of a

    " “

Not an hour in Ibara's short time in life had there been a moment of doubt about who, what and where he was. That was until now. He hadn't had time to even observe or absorb his surroundings before this gargantuan draconic figure had descended upon him. Plunging him into a world of sudden death where even one simple slip-up would cost him dearly. Ibara had literally no idea what to do, he had tried his best to fight but to no avail, all he could do now as run, run for his life. A forest that he'd found along his desperate plea for freedom helped him delay the reptilian beast's tracks somewhat, with the barrage of bushy, dense foilage breaking it's speed tenfold. The noise that ruptured from the trees splintering alongside the monster's roar was ear-splitting and no doubt could be heard from even the greatest of distances.

That was now. However there's no explaining as to how Ibara even got himself into that situation in the first place. The mission's name was "Find Figo". The old lady whom Ibara had rendezvoued with had gestured her pet lizard's location on the map. She claimed this is where he liked to frolick and be free, away from the intense, closeted space that this rather large village hut had provided. Ibara was surprised at first. For a hut on the outskirts of absolutely no where, her home was pretty large in stature, and for a lizard to supposedly claim this area was too small? Something was definitely wrong and Ibara wished he hadn't found out.

What the old lady had forgotten to mention was the origin of this lizard's species. Supposedly descended from a dragon itself, the species Figo belonged too was that of a gargantuan reptilian sub-species. What Ibara hadn't known about this species was that they breathed strong torrents of water, a disadvantage that already put Ibara at tail's length from the creature. There was also it's huge claws, teeth, spines and tail. Weapons of mass destruction to say the least.

    "Lord save me..“

Ibara's mind had switched back to reality by now. He was still running from this gigantic lizard creature and yes, he still had absolutely no idea on how to defeat it. So he went with his gut instinct, something he'd been taught from a very young age.

    "Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!“

Bursts of orange, red and white flecked every nook and cranny of Ibara's body before his body suddenly lit up in a column of orange and red. Pure, hot flames erupted from every orifice and soon he was covered in the literal form of combustion. The lizard was somewhat taken a back by this but it wasn't entirely stupid. By now, it was already charging up it's hydro-torrented water laser.

Ibara wouldn't give it the chance..

He lashed forwards, and like the mechanics of the spell suggested, he brought his body head-first into the lower half of the lizard. it was a scaly, four-legged creature but it's hide wasn't very durable. Ibara could feel his penetration as the lizard was sent reeling, unleashing an extremely awkward serpentine wail as it was struck. Ibara wouldn't give it the chance of getting back up again as he latched his hands on either side of the reptile's belly. His fingernails were sharp and he dug his hands into the lizard's skin as a means of holding on for dear life.

The creature was groggy from the attack but it wouldn't be for long. Soon the two began thrashing around together, destroying tree after tree and generally causing a massive hullabaloo. The lizard tossed and the little dragon turned. Neither could get the upper-hand at that point. It was a battle of raw strength and brutality. Ibara unleashed a roar and sank his hands in further. The fire around him emblazoned to it's pinnacle which began to burn and shred off the lizard's skin.

"You're not getting away that easy, lizard-brain!“

Ibara's voice pierced the sophisticated silence that the forest on this mountain-side once possessed. His thuggish, screeching voice would almost definitely attract the attention of any whom were standing within even five kilometres of the two beasts.

Post by Alivya Tarrin 22nd December 2015, 12:24 am

Lamya didn't know whether she should have run towards the sound or if she should have turned tail and run away. But it no longer mattered as her feet pounded against the ground like her heart pounded against her rib cage. She was not used to running and she was probably not running in the best direction if she wanted to hold out her athletic stamina. Her bun bobbed behind her as she ran, more single strands of hair falling out and sticking her sweat slick neck. It wasn't necessarily a hot day, but it wasn't exactly cold either. But as the celestial mage ran towards where she had heard the sound the temperature began to get hotter against her skin.

With the shine of sweat droplets sliding down the sides of her face the non-athletic mage finally reached her destination? Or maybe what had used to be her destination. There were cracked trees that hung limply, like that of dried piece of grass after a child had stepped on it. Many trees were near parallel to the ground while others had been just torn up from the ground and left to rest, a sleeping giant. The celestial mage shook herself from her trans of imagining what could have cause all of the destruction and as to why the entire location was so raging hot.

Honey by now had fully woken up, who wouldn't after being shaken around. He hopped down from Lamya's arms and to the ground before a large puff of smoke appeared and the bunny emerged from it as no longer a small ball with ears but as a 6'2" human being. Lamya could only guess what that meant. Honey never turned into his human form unless there was to be some sort of trouble ahead? But what could this trouble be and did it have to do with the dreaded heat that seemed to follow Lamya's every move, wrapping itself around her body, into every nook and cranny, making her skin uncomfortably moist and sticky. The two companions slowly and cautiously mage their way through the new labyrinth that had been created through the destruction on many trees.

Honey had helped at every step. Stepping over a log, or making sure that her purple hair didn't catch as they passed under one. She was his doll, she was porcelain to him. With her purple hair now evidently falling out of the bun that Lamya had created earlier that day, Lamya went to step over another log. Honey of course holding out his hand for her and her keys on her him, well more specifically two keys throwing a tantrum of wanting to be in Honey's place. But the celestial mage was done being treated like she could break any time. She didn't want to rely on everyone all the time. Sometimes she wanted to be just like her darkside and take on the entire world, on her own. Not a fear in the world. The girl could see her com[anion reaching for her hand, trying to grab it. NO! She had had enough. Swatting the hand away Lamya pulled herself up and over the log, before glaring at Honey as if to say. "I can do it myself." But her next move erased all of the effort she had gone through to say that she could be independent. Taking her next step forwards Lamya's toe got caught on one of the many side branches of the tree and she fell.

Over and over, not knowing whether she was right side up or upside down, knowing that all she could do was scream. She tumbled down the hill losing her keys somewhere along the fall, needless to say she was without help. The girl only closed her eyes and bit her bottom  lip, hoping that she would stop soon, she had tried earlier but the momentum was far to great and she had sprained her ankle in her attempt to stop herself. But as luck seemed to have it her spinning world did come to a stop as she crashed into something, not only stopping her tumble and sending her flying onto the soft something but sending them flying as well.

Post by Blood Plus 22nd December 2015, 12:53 am

    a true son of a

    " “

Ibara thought death's cold embrace, in the form of a reptilian pet named Figo, would've surely been the end of him. Little did he know that a guardian angel, a purple haired guardian angel had come to his rescue. However, this did not dissuade the fact that, right at this very moment, he was still engaged in a deep, scorching, land-ravaging, tail-turning wrestling match with a monster almost triple his size.

"Come on! You'd think you'd be a little bit stronger~!“

Ibara taunted the lizard continually in a hope that it would expose some form of weakness. This didn't go according to plan. In fact, it only empowered the lizard through an overwhelming sense of anger at the fact that it was being insulted by something so impudent and tiny compared to itself.

To make matters worse, this coat of ravaging flames that Ibara had surrounded himself with to weaken the beast was beginning to dim. His light of life was slowly failing along with the depletion of his magical power. It was a similar feeling to his traumatising experiences in the Spooky Forest. With that in mind, Ibara decided to not buy himself a one-way ticket to another magical exhaustion-related coma and de-activated his spell. Although this helped him mentally, physically - not so much. The lizard pressed it's newfound advantage and flicked Ibara off it's scaly, now rather singed hide

Ibara was sent flying backwards and his back collided with a colossal impact against a nearby shattered tree. Throughout his flight and eventual connection, Ibara had noticed the destruction he'd caused to the surrounding environment and a sense of pity overwhelmed him. A large enough distraction in fact for Figo to blast him with a hydro-powered torrent of water.

Ibara hadn't actually experienced one of those before, despite how many times the monster had launched at them, and oh boy had he wished hadn't. This immense, yet overwhelming sense of overbearing pain flooded into every nerve receptor that his body could physically muster to produce. The blow was similar to being punched by a thousand different adult men whom each held the title of 'world's strongest man' at one point or another. Ibara couldn't describe how it felt while blood dribbled down his chin, a sign of the fact that this blow had clearly caused internal damage too.

    "C-Crap... It's over..“

The young fire dragon's eyes slowly began to close as his body broke through several more trees in the background that was once behind him. The blast had clearly had a overbearing sense of brute force as it was capable of throwing Ibara's durable body through multiple different obtrusions. His eyes closed and he was prepared for the worst until..

    "A voice..? Out here?“

Ibara thought to himself although he initially believed it was his mind playing tricks on him. That was until his body came into contact with something else, much less dense than that of wooden bark that he'd become so accustomed too. No.. This feeling had a much more humanoid sensation. Nonetheless, their two bodies collided and Ibara's crash course was diverted. His body-heat was still overwhelming despite the deactivation of the flames that once coated him, and the girl whom he'd identified had collided with him would have most likely felt that tingle of heat flush into her receptors by now.

    "Who the hell are you?!“

Ibara couldn't physically express how shocked he was to see a random woman now pressed up against him while they both flew in mid-air. Meanwhile, the young dragon had to twist and turn acrobatically so he would suffer the brunt damage of the trees that they continued to collide with. They were on a crash-course with the bottom of the mountain-range and there was no way either of them could stop it.

So, the idea was simple. Regardless of who this woman was, Ibara had already implanted one basic mindset into his brain. He'd protect this woman from harm, she was clearly an innocent bystander up to this point, where she'd unconsciously got involved with an oversized lizard named Figo. It wasn't her fault that she had to suffer at least the most basic of consequences which involved flying down a mountain range at mach speeds.

A couple of branch-splintering bruises later, the two crashed into a relatively soft dirt-floor at the mountain base. Ibara below, and the purple haired girl, whom had a poorly-made bun with hairs strewn over her face to make her facial features essentially undistinguishable, above. Ibara didn't quite know how to react. He was perfectly capable of talking though, the bruises that now covered his body from head-to-toe had essentially numbed the pain from before. Regardless of his pretty severe injuries, he was still capable of saying a simple statement, a continuation of what he'd asked halfway down the mountain.

"... And what the hell are you doing here?!“

Post by Alivya Tarrin 22nd December 2015, 1:31 am

Crash bang, smack, hit, splinter, the celestial mage had she told this story would have run out of descriptive words as she and the other animal like thing went through trees. She didn't know what she had run into, only that she had run into it and now both of them were flying though the forest and ramming right through the brown and rough bark of the trees. But the warm thing that she had now distinguished as holding onto her as some sort of human perhaps was not the only surprise she was receiving. She had barely managed any scratched. There was no hitting the trees. The person behind her was taking all of the damage. She was thankful for it and yet she wanted to feel the pain that shew as causing both of them. She could hear the trees snapping behind them as their trajectory slowly began to come to a stop. The girl had clenched her eyes shut in hopes that one her darkside would not come out, the person behind her had done nothing wrong, he didn't need a demon dent against him, and two, to brace herself. Though she hadn't taken and serious damage she could feel the resistance of every tree that the two hit.

As their speed and power began to diminish Lamya could hear a voice from beside her. It was too high to be one of a girl... a guy. She had run into a guy and now he was protecting her from damage. She was not some innocent fragile child! How Lamya wished to allow for her darkside to take over she knew that were the man guarding her find out that she was a dark mage, she would have to be on the run. She was in any condition for that.

With one last thud the two mages came to a halting stop gratitude of the ground that they had slammed into. Her hair was now almost completely out of her bun and the bun itself was a sad sight to see purple strands of hair hung past and around her face, allowing for her to look out but no one to see her face. There were several stings gracing her bare skin, small scratched from the trees that they had encountered. Her hands clung to the piece of clothing that was under her and her eyes were screwed shut.

Attempting to think calmly and assess the situation Lamya was suddenly thrown off by the sane voice that she had heard earlier.

A question, two if you counted the one that had been muttered mid flight. Looking up slightly at the face of her "Savior" the young woman glanced over his face, little emotion crossed it, no sign on pain or hurting. With a sigh the celestial mage sat up, she was still slightly in his lap, unknowingly of course, before she reached back and pulled her hair tie out allowing for her long purple hair to come loose. Reaching up and sliding her fingers though her hair and pushing it off yo one side like that of a purple curtain her blue eyes looked down at the man with red hair.  "Sorry..." The single word slipped from her lips. Bounding to say more and answer his questions the girl felt a want trickle down her cheek, she knew that she wasn't crying. Taking a moment she reached up and placed her hand against it before lifting up and looking at it.

    Blood.

It was blood. seeing it the girl quickly closed her eyes and wiped the rest of it off with the back of her had. Blood was a trigger. She didn't need to see it. Especially if it was her own. Allowing for her eyes to open she smiled to the best of her ability, "Sorry again. My name is Lamya I w-" being once again cut off by the roar of an animal Lamya's head spun around and her hand flew to her hip only to realize her keys weren't there. With a silent curse the girl got up and placed her fingers to her lips before blowing against them in a whistle.

It was only a second before a flash of light appeared and in all of his golden rays her golden spirit stood in front of her. Her head snapped back and she looked at the guy on the ground. "Do you think you can stand? It seems as though the battle isn't over yet."

Post by Blood Plus 22nd December 2015, 8:49 am

    a true son of a

    " “

There wasn't a single area in Ibara's body that didn't ache after the numbing soon dissipated from his joints. Not only that but when he finally came around for long to actually realise what was going on, he noticed a young, attractive, messy-purple-haired looking girl now acquainted on his lap. His eyes rolled over and over in his head as if he were struggling to process and comprehend everything that had occurred in the last few seconds. He remembered altering his body-stance mid-flight to protect the girl from incoming trees and the rest was history. Clearly all the impact to his skull had left him groggy, semi-incapacitated and weary.

He did his best to establish his breathing before returning any sort of response.

"You really need to leave. That lizard is dangerous.“

No sooner had he said so that an ear-rendering roar pierced their somewhat awkward encounter. The woman shot to her feet and snapped her fingers. There, a set of small golden keys materialised out of nothing and soon Ibara recognised what he was dealing with. A wizard, similar to himself, although this one dabbled in a very particular type of magic, opposite of Ibara's own. Holder Magic opposing it's counterpart, Caster Magic, the type that Ibara possessed. He'd only received a lesson every now and then so his knowledge of any type of magic whatsoever was vague at best and he couldn't quite distinguish what the girl was about to do with a set of keys. She interrupted his train of thought with a proposition of her own.

"Do you think you can stand? It seems as though the battle isn't over yet.“

"H-Hang on a second~! What possibly makes you think you can fight this thing?! What are you gonna do with a set of keys? Unlock the secrets to it's heart, open door to it's brain because believe me, I'd love to know.“ Ibara's slightly hot-headed nature erupted from his rather passive version that he'd displayed only a few moments ago. This came about from the realisation that this girl's life was endangered yet again and he'd vowed that he'd protect her for getting messed up in this fray. He wouldn't let harm come to her, no matter who she was or what she did. Which only lead to the rather stubborn question that Ibara actually knew the answer too, what those keys were capable of.

Ibara had deduced, like any Holder Magic, that it was with those keys that sprouted her magical power. Keys were an opening to a gateway, a dimension, a portal. That's when all the information slowly began to click into place. Golden Keys, the Thirteen Keys of the Zodiac. Ancient and powerful keys which provided the user with an indomitable battling companion. Ibara envied the idea but nontheless, he shook his head and sighed.

"Fine.. We'll fight together, but let's make this quick.“

Ibara said rather nonchalantly before turning away from the purple haired woman. Both hands flared on command with flames, similar to the spells he had adapted beforehand, although this time, it didn't cover his entire body which was a representation of the evident depletion of his magical levels already. If he were to actually come out of this fight in one piece, Lamya's help would be much appreciated but, typically of the young dragon, he didn't let on.

Ibara blazed forwards and raised his fist high above his head just as the lizard broke through the dense thicket of trees with a mighty roar to blanket it's approach. The roar was overwhelming and almost blasted Ibara back with the sheer supersonic force it created. Luckily, Ibara's determination pushed him through the wave of a shriek and his fists rocketed downwards like a hammer of the sun into the lizards' head. Figo's head sank like a stone and bashed against the floor, leaving a probable opening for Lamya to finally show what she was made of.

    Connection[Private|Social|Lamya & Ibara] Empty Re: Connection[Private|Social|Lamya & Ibara]

Post by Alivya Tarrin 22nd December 2015, 11:37 am

A mocking smile played on the lips of the mage as she watched the man from before get up and begin to protest. He was observant in the idea that he knew that she was a mage, but having keys appear out of no where was a bit of a clue.

She watched him as he stood back on his own two feet, but there seemed to be something wrong. Her sea blue crystal like orbs looked at the man before her attempting to access what was wrong. He seemed fine. Hot headed and stubborn, but he was moving as tough he couldn't feel. With eyes widening she knew what was wrong. He had become numb to the pain, a result of too much pain. With a sudden burden now on her shoulders, the celestial mage grew anxious, there was bound to be some way that she could help.

It was sudden, as if the ground around her had exploded with heat, she could feel magic that was not hers resonate like music notes through the air. Eyes snapping to the person who had saved her she watched as red and orange ripples of flame emitted from his hands. He was also a mage. A fire mage at that. She watched as sparks danced around his hand, moving energetically through the air, a performance to say the least.

A thundering sound broke through her concentration, whatever beast they were to fight was coming, and it was coming fast. With one last thundering charge Lamya watched as trees flew though the air. Her eyes scanned over the lizard that now stood in front of them. She didn't know much about beasts or monsters at all, but as she watched it she knew that the scales that lined it's body were made for protection. There was going to be no way that they would be able to strike a critical hit attacking where the scales were. The man whom had agreed with her to fight the beast didn't seem to realize this as he charged right in. He must have been fighting this earlier which is why there were bruises that were beginning to form along his body.

Aquamarine orbs watched him fly through the air, breaking through a roar that had erupted from the mouth of the lizard. The sound was terrible, horrid, a threatening call for battle. Taking her key ring she slipped a single key off and sliced it through the air. "Gate of the Feather Swordsman, I open thee! Pavo!” The air in front of her shimmered as the feathered man appeared in front of her bowing. She knew what was bound to come and she knew that she didn't have time for it. "Pavo, when the time is right and when you have a clear aim... I wish for you to hit the eyes." She didn't order him around, she was a dark mage yes, but she saw her keys as her family. With a swift nod the spirit turned away from her slipping his hand into his coat pocket, waiting for just the right moment. Sure enough it appeared. Mere seconds after the fore mage had slammed the head of the beast into the ground it opened its eyes in preparation for attack.

Though its eye sight was no longer its own as two feathers pierced through them, making it blind. Pavo disappeared with a bow to Lamya as she pulled out another key and swiping it through the air. Lupus, he was a new spirit that she had attained, a large purple wolf appeared in front of her nearly as large as the lizard that stood slashing wildly. But her eyes widened as she saw the danger that her counterpart was in. With a swift dash forwards she reached for the man, she could see the trajectory of the next slash and it was due to hit him. With a last burst of energy she lunged forwards and pushed the fire mage out of the way, taking on the hit. Her body was thrown through the air and it being too light merely slammed into a a tree. A trickle of blood slid down her lip as the girl fell to the ground. She had forgotten about Lupus, but she knew that he could manage on his own. Managing to slowly prop herself up she looked from Lupus to her fellow mage. Knowing what she wanted Lupus raced at the lizard and ramming it head first causing for both to tumble and for the lizard to land on his back, a prime spot for a finishing attack. The spirit glistened and faded out once again and Lamya coughed again. Her own blood now decorating the ground. She was trying hard to control herself, she needed to think rationally at this moment in time, not in the ways of her evilistic side.

    " “

Ibara smiled as the lizard's chin finally crashed to the deck. He'd conclusively put that fight to bed upon the strike connecting. Sadly that wasn't all there was too it. Figo wouldn't stay down for long as he would soon find out.

"Damnit, lizard brain! Why won't you stay down?!“

He screamed at the lizard while it's eyes fluttered open all at once. However that seemed to provide Lamya with the chance she was looking for as she finally displayed what those keys were actually used for. She chanted a powerful incantation that flowed with golden etherious, surrounding her in spherical particles to ultimately light her with a warm, radiant glow. All at once, a portal opened which she unlocked via the usage of her golden key. A spirit emerged, a swordsman by appearance but a swift killer by actions. Within the split second of Ibara releasing his fist from atop Figo's head, the swordsman had already closed the distance between him and the monster and plunged it's sword deep into Figo's eyes. A silence-splitting scream erupted from the lizard at once as it raised it's claws. In the background, Ibara noticed Lamya reaching for another spirit but that didn't divert his attention. He was solely focused on the fact that he was now in range to another attack, an attack in which he had very little time to counter or dodge. Instead, he simply had to wait for his death.

    But nothing came..

    "Agh!“

Ibara had expected his scream to pierce the silence rather than a feminine one of a very different tone to his own. Upon opening his eyes, he'd realised the claws had never struck him, they'd passed him by as if nothing happened, as if there was something in the way. Although he didn't notice immediately, with a look of absolute shock and horror, he glanced sideways to see Lamya laying flat against a tree. She was glaring at her wounds intently, with a look of both utter fear and confusion, it was as if she was battling with her inner self while trying to ignore the pain she'd just been inflicted with. Ibara didn't know how to contain himself. Seeing people hurt infront of him, seeing people he was unable to protect was the key to unlocking the very pinnacle of this young dragon's rage and so it did. His vision went hazy and once more, regardless of his magic level, his body erupted into radiant colours of red, orange and even white such was the intensity of the flames he now produced.

"Alright Figo. Enough with this job, you're going to hell.“

There was a slightly reptilian tint to Ibara's voice, as if he were a dragon himself. Something similar had occured, Ibara's inner rage that he had learned to contain thanks to his mentor, Igneel, was slowly beginning to leak out. Releasing the limiters on power that kept his mind sane and body intact. This was all thrown to the wind upon seeing Lamya hurt. Now... he fought for one purpose, to destroy his opponent in every single way.

A sonic boom cracked at the floor as Ibara launched forwards. Flames pushed at his movement, augmenting his speed to an extremely high level so that his movements were unreadable. The only way to actually trace him was the small line of flames that he left behind in his wake. This lasso of flames that was produced by his constant moving began to swallow up the lizard. It was unable to react as it roared incessantly, desperately trying to avoid and counter the young dragon's infinite blows. It simply could not. Each blow was more fierce than the next, and that roar of rage that the lizard had become accustomed too soon became a plea for help. It yelped and squirmed as the incessant blows rained down on it without release.

"Bet you can't do anything now, dumbass..“

A small sphere of fire now enveloped the lizard entirely, concealing it from view such was the speed of Ibara's movements. He'd completely lit up the monster in flames of his own, now burning it from every angle. Not like it was in any condition to fight back anymore but Ibara felt like containing the thing anyway. Fire rained upon it while it yelped in pain.

This wasn't Ibara but he simply relished in it all. He watched on, now standing still for the mean time, the flames around his body now extinguished while the lizard continued to squirm. However the realisation of what he had done soon began to dawn on him and he snapped his fingers. The flames around the lizard soon faded and a wave of magical exhaustion rocked upon him. He dropped to one knee and breathed heavily, widening his eyes to what he'd done. He dared himself to look up to where the lizard had once been and all that was left was a simple pile of ashes.

    "Lamya..!“

Realising what had triggered the rage in the first place, Ibara's attention diverted from the horrific act he'd just committed. Instead he turned his head towards where she once was, he'd noted she was still laying there in a somewhat deep conflict with herself. His worried brow furrowed in on itself and he limped over to her. The physical intensity it required to simply cover the distance between them surprised him as he dropped to one knee in a plea to rest once more. His breathing was heavy but he managed to utter a few words.

"I'm sorry you had to witness that, I lose sight of myself sometimes, especially in situations like that. Are you alright?“

    Connection[Private|Social|Lamya & Ibara] Empty Re: Connection[Private|Social|Lamya & Ibara]

Post by Alivya Tarrin 24th December 2015, 12:11 am

Eyes clenched shut, Lamya didn't see the rest of the battle, or how the other mage won. She knew that he had though. There was no longer a presence coming from the lizard. It might as well have been wiped off the face of the Earth, but this was not what was most important to her at the moment. Sure she was glad that the fight was done and that the danger was no longer evident. On the outside that is. A threat was still processing, turning, fighting to have a chance in the world. But she couldn't, she couldn't let that threat do as it willed. This threat could not be seen by those who did not deserve it.

"Come on angel, just let it happen."

The voice that she had accepted but held back echoed through her head, causing her very essence to shiver and be on stand still, ignorant to the rest of the world.

"No, I won't let you have her, not now, he didn't do anything."

"Didn't do anything? Had it not been for him being in the way of that savage beast we would have never been hit!"

Sides fought internally, both sides of the girl not wanting to give into the other.

"But remember, we were the one that got us into that mess. If we had just accepted the helping offers from Honey we would not be in this situation, who's influence do you think that was?"

Her head was hurting, why had she divided into two separate sides, what was the point of it, when had it happened? With the wounds that decorated her body no longer important to her, numb almost in fact to the arguing and the fighting that was occurring throughout her body. Through the midst of her internal conflict she hadn't seen the approach of the fire mage to her side. His soft thud of his knee against the ground jerking the celestial mage from her mind, eyes flashing open. A blue and a gold eye looked up at the fire mage who seemed to look down upon her with worry. One eye seeming to look up at him with fear and pain and the other prideful and eager, two sides looking up at the same time. Pain rocketed through the head of the girl and she shrieked loudly, her ear piercing voice shattering the silence that the forest held. With blood crusted hands the mage grabbed her head and curled into a ball.

Rustles and cracking branches were not far off and slowly getting closer, something had been attracted to the sound, illuminated by the pain that was held within her vocal awareness of the situation. Crashing through the last barrier of trees the 6'2" companion of the celestial mage stood, breaths ragged and shirt evidently ripped. With eyes widened and a stiff, cautious spine Honey raced towards his master, sliding down at the last moment. His hands ran though the purple locks of the woman laying on the ground, shaking as she held her head. Without knowledge of what had happened the boy could only guess, the man next to him seemed to pose no threat allowing for the bunny to ignore him as he tried to calm his master down.

"Calm down Lamya, both of you, please. Don't hurt each other anymore. Don't hurt yourself."

    " “

The young dragon didn't really know how to respond to the situation put out before him. As far as he was concerned, the girl hadn't actually replied to his question and had merely gazed at him aimlessly. He was out of his comfort zone, the lizard had been duly defeated and Ibara was on the very brink of exhaustion. His head was lowered while his gaze trained on the opposing glare of Lamya. That look on her face was so difficult to decode. It spoke of an argument, a warring state between two different points of view, Ibara didn't realise he could get to understand so much from merely a gaze but Lamya's vision spoke very clearly of what was going on.

"Sheesh.. Not only do you get in the way but now you're just gonna sit there and not say a thing?“

Ibara spoke pretty outrageously considering what had transpired but this was his only means of a slightly jovial humour to shine light on the situation. Seeing as they'd got out of that situation alive, Ibara felt no other reason other than to be light hearted regardless of how the girl was feeling after it had all concluded.

He waved his hand over her face several times while she sat there, several minutes had gone by and that gaze remained the same. Every now and then she'd frown as if one side of her brain had proposed a convincing argument to the other which was difficult to refute. His hand moved frantically, going quicker and quicker before he eventually gave up and rolled backwards off his knee. He didn't realise how sapped he was until that moment where he promptly collapsed backwards, his feet giving way underneath him. He ended up laying flat on his back, glancing up at the sky which was, for the most part, obscured by the tedious amounts of smoke that had emanated from Ibara's spells.

"Guess I'll just leave ya' in silence for a while..“

Ibara wasn't used to being quiet but he realised he may be a little out of his depth here. Lamya's problem seemed to go much deeper than he'd originally intended so he thought it best to leave her too it. That was until a well-refined, humanoid man burst out from the burnt foilage of the jungle behind them both and addressed Lamya directly.

"Who the hell are you?! What the hell are you talking about?! What the hell is going?! Sheesh.. Who knew a little lizard named Figo could lead me into getting through a situation like this, baka.. What's next, trees raining from the sky?“

Ibara spoke too soon. Clearly the havoc that he and the lizard had caused had sent trees quite literally flying into the air and they had coincidentally decided to rain down on the group as soon as the young dragon jinxed the notion. Disregarding the human whom had just emerged from the forest, he scooped up Lamya into his arms and sprinted off for the cover of the slightly burnt but shielded trees which prevented them from getting duly squished to smithereens.

"That's it... I'm not talking until someone explains what's going on.“

Ibara folded his arms shortly after laying Lamya back on the ground gently. He turned back to the male whom had followed them into the forest and approached him directly. Rather hot-headedly, in an extremely brash manner, he brought out a singular finger and poked it directly into the man's chest. The man was much taller and broader than he was but Ibara knew when he picked the right fight, if there were to be any.

"You know what's going on here. Speak up!“

Taken. She had been taken from his grasps, ripped away by this person. Honey didn't know who he was or what he wanted from him, but no one took away his master like that. Eyes narrowing at the retreating figure the boy could feel rage building up in his body. He stood tall as the ma from before came back and demanded answers.  But the white haired boy knew that those were Lamya's answers to give and not his but he did know one thing. It didn't matter what, he was going to take her ba- *POOF* ck. Yet, there he sat. On the ground. Bunny form once again. With his teal tinted ears drooping Honey felt defeated. How was he going to get his master back now? He had no upper hand no nothing to help himself. With the man now towering above him the bunny glared and quickly, faster than any human could run normally hopped around the fire user to his master.

    -*-

She was struggling. One side to the other. Light to dark. Innocent to Evil. Opposites. Yet, they were fighting over the same body. Pain surged through her head causing for her to cringe and cling to the nearest thing. Wood splintered in her hand. The strength of her darkside being too much foe the piece of wood. With her hand now embedded with wood and blood seeping down her hand the celestial mage shrieked out once again. This time, no golden flash appeared, but a soft tinkle of bells were heard as a maiden appeared before Lamya, holding onto the purple hair girls hand. Cassiopeia, the mother spirit knelt down and comforted her master. Her form not changing as the two sides of Lamya fought back and forth to control the body. The woman spirit could see the young woman shaking, her fingers cold in the spirits hand. "My dear girl, sleep." Not a moment later Lamya's body grew still and calm, with her breathing returning to normal. A small smile appeared on the mother spirit's face before she turned to find Honey quickly approaching and a man not too far away.

She allowed for Honey to pass without a word. He must have been worried about his master. But, she did continue to look at the man that stood several meters away. He wasn't bad looking, strong, seemed independent, but he was magically weak. Looking at the damage surrounding the two Cassiopeia quickly knew what had happened and a soft smile appeared on her face. "She will be fine. But, the answers that you are looking for, only she can answer them. However, let her rest. The two of them have been fighting for 19 years without rest, sleep for her being the only time of rest." The green haired spirit glided over to where the fire user stood and reached out to place her hand on his chest.

Her magic channeled through her hand and into him. Not only restoring his health, but also his magic power. "I will not harm you, instead I have healed some of your wounds and restored some of your magic power. But, in return of this gift, you must watch her, protect her until she wakes up and if you still ponder about her then you may ask your questions." Without another word the celestial spirit faded into silver dust and sparkles, disappearing in the small breeze that fluttered by.

Post by Blood Plus 2nd January 2016, 5:37 pm

    a true son of a

    " “

Ibara relished like no other in physical conundrums. He absolutely adored beating another guy down should the situation arise the need for such an act. He'd always have a method to his madness regardless of how slight or tender that particular method was.

Verbal or emotional conundrums on the other hand? Now that was a problem that Ibara clearly lacked the statistics in order to carry out. His unsocial background stemming from the lack of interaction with his parents and ultimate childhood confrontational experience with that of an entirely different species led young Ibara to the ultimatum he now faced.

"Igneel always said.. no answer lies behind the fist alone. I always thought it was pretty stupid myself.. I mean, if a guy is threatening to kill ya' and you knock his lights out? Where's the problem then, eh? Catch my drift?~“

Ibara was warming to the man he'd insulted earlier through an irrational finger to his oversized chest. Clearly Ibara wanted to pick a fight only thirty seconds prior, now he was attempting to be relatable, realising the error in his ways. However, Ibara's tolerance to relate to something else only grew so thick. Transferring his ideals to a human? A hard task that required a relative amount of willpower to carry out.. but to do the same with a bunny rabbit? That was a completely different story and that's exactly what Ibara now faced. The former hulk of a man was reduced to a white rabbit whom hopped maniacally around Ibara's feet.

"This is ****** insane. You associate with the wrong people, Lamya-chan.“

Ibara wasn't usually one for honorifics but after a glance behind him only to see her laying there, sullen and practically unconscious could only arise a sense of guilt in Ibara's gut. It was his responsibility to protect her from the lizard but instead, through the maniacal methods of his own, he'd somehow triggered an internal conflict in Lamya, something he'd identified in her eyes from earlier somehow.

He sighed and shook his head, dismissing the white bunny rabbit that had, in turn, dismissed him and now proceeded with his circular hop around Lamya in a protective fashion. Sadly, what Ibara had in a moment of compassion was now gone and he swatted the rabbit aside, clearly in no mood for more games than he should have already begun to deal with. His knees met the ground and he leaned over her, his two-toned eyes staring compassionately in Lamya's direction. He was thankful for the fact she wouldn't notice what he was doing. He usually wasn't one for taking care of people, he normally indulged in the latter.

A voice pierced that shield of passionate indulgence that Ibara had temporarily locked himself away in for the duration of a few minutes. A kind and caring voice which emanated from a light green glow that hovered only a few inches above the ground. The figure kept her distance but her features were distinct, beautiful and composed. A woman of power clearly and she knew how to use it. Ibara had no other option but to show respect in his silence. Instead he listened to her words intently as she emphasized on Lamya's situation something Ibara had already deduced from earlier aside from the details.

    "This is crazy..“

Ibara was muttering to himself upon the ladies' disappearance as quick as she had come. She was gone and again, a moment settled between the two wizards once more, spoiled only by the frantic hopping noise that the white rabbit human seemed to create.

"Knock it off. You want her to feel better too, don't you?“

Clearly Ibara's animalistic simplicity tied a loop around Honey which was of no surprise to him. As annoying as this animal was, it's respect for Lamya's wellbeing was admirable. In fact, this was probably the only factor stopping Ibara from making it into the next meal as soon as Lamya woke from her internal slumber.

While she lay there, Ibara uncomfortably shifted closer, noting Lamya's far from comfortable position. He battled with himself for a few seconds, whether to approach her physically or to leave him as she was. She would clearly suffer the consequences of remaining in such a stance if he didn't do anything about it but at the same time, touching her would violate a deep code internally implemented into Ibara's brain from a very young age - the idea that interacting with her in such a way could pass off as threatening and she'd simply run away like so many others did before Ibara had even arrived at Sabertooth.

"Who am I kidding? She needs me, I've gotta man up..“ Ibara thought to himself.

He shook his head and inched ever closer. His body contorted awkwardly while his calloused hands reached under Lamya's purple locks to gentle lift her head into his lap. Despite Ibara's ruffian-esque demeanour, his handling of Lamya revealed a side that even Ibara didn't know he had, a pacifistic side completely unbeknownst to the young dragon.

"Your secrets safe with me, Lamya-chan.“

OUCH! Honey had not expected for the red headed man to kick him away from his master. Anger flooded through his small body, why would that monster do that? It didn't make sense to Honey and he glared at the man as he knelt by Lamya. His Lamya ,his master. What right did that boy have to sit next to an angel? There was no one who deserved to even touch the girl. She was pure hearted in a world of pitch black. True she had her side to the blackness, but the girl was do gracious and forgiving that she had accepted that side of her and kept it as a part of her. Honey had only ever seen one guy interact with his master and he was evil. The blonde guy that ran the guild that Lamya belonged to was evil, he degraded people as he called himself a king. Treated everyone as peasants. Even his dear Lamya, the one who treated everyone as equals, as friends, she was treated as a servant.

These thoughts slowly brought Honey back to reality and the anger that had faded suddenly came back and he hopped angrily around the red head. He was too close to his master. His cheeks were red with anger, but he didn't expect for the fire user to turn to him and scold him. With wide eyes the bunny could only look down as his ears fell as well. That weird man was right, Lamya needed to get better. She needed to sleep. It was her only escape from the fight that she had had throughout her entire life. Feeling defeated he hopped over to his master and into the nook of her abdomen. With her warmth surrounding him Honey nestled himself into her side as he closed his eyes. Comfort of his master surrounded him and he slowly faded into blackness.

    -*-

The world around her head cold and hard, she knew that she was asleep. It was always like this when she slept. There was nothing, and yet there was everything. She felt whole. A smile graced her face in her mind and in the physical world. She wished that she could always feel like this. She never did find out why she had two sides of her. Yet, there was nothing to go to to find out why she was like this. She had run away from everything, she didn't even know if there was something to go back to. As these thought invaded her sleeping mind the angel's smile faded and she grew cold once again. A shiver passed through her. She could feel the comfort reaching for her from her keys, but she knew that that would not be enough. She loved her keys, but they weren't always with her, couldn't always speak with her, yet she loved all of them anyways. As she began to grow colder a warmth on her head had her stirring from the dark cold. A light a warmth that was being held out to her. There was someone there with her.

She wanted to get closer to the warmth, moving closer to it another small smile grew on her face. It was as if there was someone else there, someone else was seeing her in her pain and accepting her for it when there was no one else that would. Even her parents had sold her off, hoping to understand what was wrong with her. But she knew that this warmth was not going to leave her. A warmth in her pitch black of night, of her own evil.

The warmth spread through her body. It was no longer cold and hard, but warm and soft like a pillow. It was welcoming and she could dub it her favorite place to be. Love from her keys infiltrated her mind and she knew that they were company too, true she couldn't always talk to them they were always by her side, supporting her and every decision that she made at every cross-road that she came to. A family that she knew she would never be able to have unless she was able to understand herself and make herself whole. But, she didn't need a family if she had her keys, her keys and Honey.

    " “

The young dragon was humming to himself by now. That's right.. humming. A tranquil tune that pierced the air in melodic bursts, an unexpected hobby of Ibara's that he'd only developed in the past hour while Lamya remained in a complete state of unconsciousness across his lap. With no conscious company other than Honey the Bunny, Ibara had no choice but to turn to his animalistic 'friend'.

"You know her better than I? What would she have me do in a situation like this? She clearly isn't waking up in a hurry and we can't just sit and wait here, sure it's warm from all the fire but that's gonna fade. We're up in a mountain, high altitude means cold weather.. right? A-anyway.. The point is, we've got to get Lamya home.. wherever that is.“

Honey didn't seem to comply with Ibara's wishes. Instead, it remained nuzzled in her abdomen. He watched the creature breathe and it was clear enough that it was faking but Ibara had no time for foolery. He rose to his feet, making sure to latch his arms underneath Lamya as he moved. It startled the rabbit unto which point, Honey simply tumbled off Lamya's stomach and landed on the ground again. The young dragon glanced back at Lamya for one final time, releasing a heavy sigh before turning to the mountain-face. He could still identify that high wisp of smoke from the cottage where his client resided, Fido's owner. Ibara certainly wasn't going to deliver the news that he'd killed her favourite pet. In fact, he didn't kill Figo, Lamya did.

"You're gonna hate me for this but.. trust me.. it benefits the both of us.“

Ibara shook his head and set off back down the mountain trail. It was much different to before, devastated and ravaged by Ibara's incessant flames, that once original serenity and peacefulness that had befitted the forest-filled mountains was now gone and instead, a barren wasteland stretching a few kilometres in diameter now scarred one face of the mountains forever.

He couldn't help but feel guilty for the havoc he'd wreaked regardless of whether it was his fault or not. That didn't just concern the atmosphere around him but Lamya's wellbeing too. He charged himself with protecting her and by doing so, he'd ultimately failed, this was something he wouldn't live down until he saw Lamya again.. That was if he saw Lamya again..

"Baka.. Look who's having a little internal conflict of their own.“

A small tear ran down Ibara's cheek. This was the first time he'd cried since leaving Igneel and that was roughly fifteen years ago, a decade and a half and now the floodgates finally opened. Although the tears were few in number, their dramatic effectiveness on Ibara himself was great while he raced through the forest as quickly as possible.

It wasn't a moment too soon before he arrived at the cottage front door. It was just as he remembered it which put his mind at ease somewhat. Finally an object that hadn't been affected by his madness.

Ibara shook his head and lay Lamya gently against the front door before kneeling down with her, her head was propped up against the wooden frame, her hands crossed in her lap while Honey eagerly took position on top of her long purple hair which now dangled on either side of her face after the decimation of her bun from earlier. Ibara smiled at the sight.

    "You've made me soft, Lamya-chan. I won't forget that.“

Ibara's words were simple and concise, regardless of the limitless personal bounds he'd broken just to be with Lamya for a few more minutes, this was one habit that remained true to Ibara's character. He didn't drivel, he didn't dilly-dally, no. He got his message across and that's all he meant by it. Lamya would always have a special place in the young dragon's heart and that was no easy spot to earn.

With a heavy heart and heavy feet to match, he turned around, letting one final tear drop fall from his eye. It's crystal light was evanescent as it caught the light perfectly before landing on Lamya's hand. Ibara smirked at his weakness before setting off, faster than a speeding bullet. This was certainly one confrontation he wouldn't be sticking around for.

She didn't know when she woke up or how long she had been asleep, but she did know that the warmth that had enfolded her earlier was gone. Allowing for her eyes to slide open the girl looked around, looking for anything that would allow for her to get an idea of where she was.

There was nothing. She was lost. Lost with a cottage behind her and a long road to who knows where in front of her. A trail like her life. Full of uncertainty, twists and turns that were followed with experiences that she would treasure for forever. The celestial mage looked down at the small bunny on her lap. How had she gotten here, Honey had long transformed back into his bunny form and was not magically ready to be a human again. The only other person who had been with them was the red haired man... whom she had never caught the name of.

Allowing for her eyes to drop, she had burdened him, caused him trouble and gave him a responsibility that he did not need to have. She was so weak, she could have planned that battle much better, but seeing as he was bound to be struck she knew that she wouldn't be able to stop herself from running forwards and taking the hit. Her eyes narrowing the girl knew that she would have to find the man and apologize to him. Standing up slowly and waveringly the celestial mage managed to take the first step in the right direction, the direction down the road that lay in expansion before her. Her hair was loose around her, waving with every step that she took, a river of purple with every step.

It took her a while, a long while and many falls, trips and stumbles. A few scraped knees and elbows. Her hands were red and pebble filled, but she had finally made it down to the city that resided at the base of the mountains. Her eyes scanned the entrance in hopes of finding the man from before and apologizing to him. But instead she found a small park with children. A large smile appeared on the females face as she slowly yet surely made her way of her to it and sat in the grass that surrounded it.

The children were having fun. playing together, not a single care in the world. She wanted them to stay like that. But as she watched she could not help but notice a man approaching the children, dressed in back and with a bandanna covering his face. The purple haired girl's eyes widened. The kids. Her body protested against her quick movements but she was up and on her way to the children in a flash. Her eyes watched the the man sharply as he too approached. Too close. She walked faster, he was closer to them than she was and her eyes could only go wide as he snatched a small girl from the group of kids. "NO!" Her voice carried through the air and reached the ears of the man who had picked up the kid. She watched like a hawk as his eyes widened, he had been caught. Lamya raced forwards to the man who took off with the kid.

Her body protested at every movement, but this was not a time to be weak she followed the man at high speed through the city, around corners, not letting him out of her site even once. Her fingers itched to reach for her keys and summon someone, but this was not their problem, this was her own, a personal problem that she had. She continued to chase after him until after they rounded a corner and she found that she had cornered him in a dead end. She seethed at the man and approached, her eyes flickered gold and she watched like a hungry dog as the man backup with the kid. "Down, put her down." Her voice was deeper than normal. She watched as the man shook his head and yet put the child behind him as he reached for something in his pocket. Lamya looked at the small girl who seemed to be shaking. A low growl ripped from her lips as the lunged, not giving the man to finish pulling whatever he had in his pocket out. Her fist met his cheek and it wasn't a second before one of his nailed her in the stomach.

    a true son of a

    " “

Ibara didn't quite know to think after leaving the company of Lamya. There he sat at a small inn, only a few kilometres away from the hut where he had dropped the young, purple-haired girl off. He threw sake down his throat despite barely clearing the age limit as the bartender looked upon him worriedly. He attracted the attention of several people in the inn actually, his incessant drinking had become quite the attraction to each passerby.

There must have been a reason to this drinking, it was uncharacteristic of Ibara to drink at all let alone to do such in such vast quantities. Truth be told, he was quite confused with himself and he thought the key to his heart was through alcohol. With each passing cup, his head sank lower and lower towards the bar desk, threatening to send him reeling into a state of abnormality - drunkenness beyond help.

    "Gah nah.. juh.. an-anuh.. another..“

Ibara's words did somersaults over eachother and with each passing breath, his sentences became less confusing and even more inaudible. The bartender looked at him and merely shook his head while simultaneously pointing straight towards the door. He clearly wasn't having anymore of it. Ibara was tempted to stand up right then and there to threaten the bartender but that wasn't like him, that really would be letting the alcohol take charge. So instead, he did his best to stumble outside, colliding with a few guests of the inn before smashing himself through the door in his heightened stupor of confusion.

If it weren't for the sounds of throwing punches that he heard only a few metres away from him, Ibara would've probably turned around and headed for home, never to even grace the village with his presence again. However, if it weren't for this disruptive sound, he probably never would have saw that woman again, the woman that'll probably strike a chord in the depths of his heart forever..

"I didn't give anyone permission to go around fightin'.. especially if it doesn't include me!“ He roared out loud within his drunken stupor which was most definitely heard and audible in the alleyway next to him.

With little to no consideration of what he was doing, he spun into the alleyway, a hand already emblazoned and coated in red hot flames. With a complete disregard of the two people he'd identified whom he could not recognise due to the darkness that had now set in, he launched forward to whomever had thrown the last punch.

His hand connected with a masculine figure, he was broad, tall yet his body shape was creepy. As Ibara threw his fist deep into the man's jaw, he was sent flying into the backwards wall of the alleyway, dislodging several bricks which would tumble over his head, rendering him unconscious. Then Ibara turned to the younger, smaller figure whom was next to the man and stammered slightly as he spoke.

"Hope that wasn't your pops, kid..“

Then Ibara turned around to identify the third and final human whom he'd seen when entering the alleyway. What he saw caused his limbs to reduce themselves to a weaker state than they already were. He didn't quite know how to react as he felt his cheeks go rosy-red while his body literally steamed with embarrassment..

"You've got to be kidding me..“ he said, disregarding his drunken slurs.
