"Okay, uhm. . . That stays back here for future use, and this goes here. . . I need to write a note for Kiku to keep this safe, and be careful. . ."
A woman muttered softly to herself as she rest her hands along the wooden surface of the barrel. Liquid swiveled inside and all around from when she finished her final steps of pushing it into an area where no one could possibly tamper with it - harmfully in the very least. The waitress also hoped that Kiku would have easier access to it when need be during the night's festivities, knowing for certain she could if absolutely necessary. With an unknowing sigh passing her soft tinted hue of pink lips, the young woman suddenly started to shiver. A daring cold seeped past the surface of her pale skin and into the depths of her system, goosebumps cascading along the region.
Wh-What? I-It's happening. . . again?
Strands of loose black hair from her bun slid downward, tickling the very surface of the skin as Shu used the barrel in front of her as support to keep herself standing. A ringing headache was gently crawling its way into the back of her mind, her breathing shaky and unsteady. A soft tint of red decorated her cheeks as she began to feel weak. The only time she had ever felt this way was when she had last met. . .
Nao. . . I-I need to get to Nao. He knows h-how to deal with this better th-than I ever could right now.
Gathering whatever amount of strength was left within her, the young woman stood to her feet and clumsily grabbed a pen and the notepad bundled neatly in the decorative bag hanging from her wrist. She shakily breathed as she wrote a note addressed to Kiku, apologizing on her possible lack of presence for a small while along with a reminder to take care of the drinks in the back. Even though said man was a professional, she only worried because he was both her friend and boss. She cared after all and it was better than disappearing without a warning. Ripping the small paper from the pad messily and placing it atop the barrel, she coughed lightly before shoving the pad and pen into her small bag before making her way outside.
Violet eyes began to scan the bar area with intent on one individual, trying to keep up a professional stance while doing so. Albeit it was growing more difficult by the passing moments, Shu wanted to see Nao not just for help but for perhaps guidance in dealing with this issue whenever it made itself present. Whatever illness was attacking her now, she knew that Nao couldn't always be there to catch her when she fell like the first time. She didn't want to burden him especially on this night of Halloween but she didn't want to risk falling any further into the illness. Not only that, she didn't remember on what to do or the steps he may have offered to her in the past.
Oh dear. . . I-I can't afford to not listen to him again in a-a time like that.
She didn't want to risk him - or anyone else - worrying again.
With a quiet shiver and her teeth chattering, she felt a pang of cold around her chest before she covered her mouth with a cough. Whether he was still at the bar or a small distance away, Shu hoped he could notice something was amiss when she finally approached him. He was a very observant man who tended to take note of his environment and the people with a striking sense of perfection - gathering even the most minuscule of details. She even wondered if he brought his journal with him on this night for a mere moment. . .
Shaking her head slightly, she gently approached the guildless mage to wherever he may be with a gentle tap to his shoulder with quivering lips. Creasing her brows and tilting her head slightly with a soft, nervous smile, she laughed weakly as she closed her eyes - her voice soft and almost quiet compared to the loud atmosphere of the party around them. She didn't wish to reveal her violet orbs in whatever dull hue they may have been at the moment for she couldn't even predict herself how bad it could get. All she wanted right now was to get some fresh air - to see if that would help calm her.
"Nao. . . M-My apologies in disturbing y-you, but. . . M-May you guide m-me outside, my friend, p-please?"
