"Never seen this before..." Brennan said as he clutched the Bounty for the Slavers. "I could use this money though... I wonder if anyone will help me catch these bastards." Brennan shrugged and walked into the Eclipse Soul guild hall, but not through a door of course, through a wall, because after all, what was the point of Phasing if you didn't do it on a regular basis? As soon as he was in the guild hall, he spotted Venir, and immediately wondered if the little girl would help him, after all, she was more powerful than he was, so he walked up to her, trying not to lean down as he talked to her. "Hey Venir," He said as vision became static-y, his dimensional plane about to switch, but Brennan firmly shook his head, and his vision cleared up, "You wanna catch these guys with me?" Brennan asked Venir, handing her the flier for the Slavers. Brennan already hated the Slavers, and he hadn't even met them, he hated anyone and everyone who would hurt someone with no reason. Brennan grinned, "Those idiots would be no match for us, right?" Soon after he said this, Brennan's vision once again became static-y and blurry, "Dammit." He muttered, attempting to blink away the static, as his surroundings seemed to go farther and farther away. Brennan vigorously shook his head, driving the static away, left with only a headache. Dimensional traveling could be very useful, but with such little control over it, Brennan often found himself in unfamiliar dimensions, being able to do nothing but wait until he got back to his home dimension. "Anywho," He said, "You up, Venir?"

- Job Description:
- Job Title: Liberation of Slaves
Rank:C-rank
Player Requirements: 1 C-Rank mage or 2 D-Rank mages minimum. Must kill/capture/arrest the 2 heads of the Slaver operation. Minimum 30 posts with 250 word minimum requirement. Must also roll 5 monster dice minimum to summon the boss.
This job can only be done once
Job Location: Hargeon Town
Job Description: Lately there have been slaver's running an operation to kidnap women to be sold to other countries for a tidy profit. This operation must be stopped and the Rune Knights are offering a tidy sum of jewels to anybody that will stop the latest shipment of slaves to leave Fiore. Not only must not a single slave be harmed, but the leaders must be made never to be allowed to escape or this will happen again. The Bounty is for them Dead or Alive, but the Council prefers them alive and will double the bounty if done so.
We also know the individuals are extremely tough and stealth may be required...
Enemies:
Weak:Slaver Initiates x5- These are the fresh new recruits of the slaver operation and each deal individually D-rank worth of damage with their non-magical cutlasses. The will attempt to surround and use their numbers to overwhelm the enemy. The Slavers will run or surrender at displays of B-rank spells knowing they are out of their leagues.
Normal:
Slavers x2- These are experienced sword and gun users with a weapon in each hand. The sword and gun deals C-rank damage each. They will fire the gun 3 times a post and ignore D-rank armors and barriers of whoever they are shooting. They will fire at whoever is dealing the most damage and the bullets do travel at 900 MPH making them hard to dodge. They require 1 C-rank of damage to beat, making them a bit of glass cannons.
Strong:
Veteran Slaver- They have been doing their job for so long that thThey have earned the jewels to buy themselves Lacrima to use water magic. They also use cutlasses imbued with the same magic, but this magic is not eatable by Water Dragon Slayers due to having salt mixed in all their spells and Abilities, thus making them instead LOSE the magic they were supposed to gain. The water magic itself deals C rank damages and is very malleable to users will. The Blade however deals C-rank damage and continuous D-rank bleeding per post. Requires 3-Crank of damage to beat them.
Boss:
Captain Scarlet and First Mate Carver- Captain of the slaver ship the 2 are notorious individuals that have no value of human life. They fight mercilessly and will fight to the death since they know that a hangman's noose awaits them if captured.
First mate carver is a speed based mage with a pair of cutlasses that look worn after many use and stained with blood of those that opposed him. He will immediately charge at the strongest looking mage at 100 miles per hour and lock the person in melee combat with his blades. Using his magic it allows him to strike multiple times for B-rank damage due to speed and momentum of his blades. It is very tricky to hit him, but he is ultimate Glass cannon as well due to his speed and a Solid C-rank blow at his high speeds will cause major damage.
Captain Scarlet uses a pair of guns that deal C-rank damage each and is fired 6 times per post and ignores C-rank Barriers and armor. Her shots also explode on contact causing people hit to be blown away from her and causing AoE damage. Living the life at sea made her tough and requires 4 C-ranks to beat her. When knocked down to 3 C-ranks of damage she will attempt to shoot herself in head rather than humiliation of the hangmans noose.
Reward: 15k jewels and an extra C ranks exp(added after bonus calculation). If both bosses are captured alive then the jewel increases by 30k.[/b]

"Yosh!" The young girl grinned stretching her arms far above her head, numerous cracking noises going down her back. She hadn't done much the last few weeks. Resting and relaxing after her and Alyia had taken on numerous missions. However, boredom had finally taken over the young girl. She could only sleep and eat for so long. "I haven't gone down to the guildhall in a while...." She had practically been hibernating in her room for the last week. ~*~
Her initial plan was to sneak into the hall, and simply watch over the other members for a bit. However, it seemed as if she was quickly spotted. "Ah!" She jumped slightly at the sound of someone calling her. Turning her red gaze to the newcomer she watched as he approached, and soon listened to his request. "Hmmmmm...."She hummed as she looked over the job paper unaware of the vision troubles that Brennan seemed to be having. She didn't start the day planning to take a mission but it didn't seem nearly as hard as the one's that her and Alyia had done recently. "Alright." She grinned, "Count me in." Someone had to watch over him anyways. However, she stopped for a moment, might as well kill two birds with one stone. "Let me grab someone else to come along as well!" She smiled, clearly up to something but she didn't say what. "Just wait here a moment!" She requested before dashing off, surprisingly quick.
~*~
Knocking on Ziska's door three times, and then slipping the job request underneath it, Venir promptly returned to the main hall. Slightly out of breath from all her running she grinned once more to Brennan. "Wait just another moment." She requested once more as she waited for the inevitable appearance of Ziska, another new member. She firmly believed in improving guild relations and of course watching over the pairs growth, so might as well just do it at the same time.

She gets up out of her bed slowly and once she finally makes it to her front door she noticed the job flyer on the floor. Ziska bends down and picks up the flyer and looks it over. "Picking on helpless women hmm, better teach these kids how to treat women the right way. Hehehe" Then she goes back into her room and starts getting dressed. Once Ziska's fully dressed it hits her, "who dropped this job flyer off?" Only thing that she could think of was a guild member(s) and they must be waiting at the guild hall. Ziska starts dashing to the guild hall from her house. It takes her awhile to get there cause she lives on the far side of the guild grounds. So that way if Ziska loses control she has less of a chance to hurt anyone from the guild. As she arrives at the guild hall she hears how noisy and it is in there. "Really don't want to deal with all those noisy people right now" She sneaks into the guild hall in thought the back then looks around the whole hall and notices the small girl standing next to one of the other new members. "Don't tell me it was her doing" but she was one of the only people there that would have knew where Ziska lived at so soon. Venir dashed off, stating that she was going to get someone else to do the job with them, and then returned, requesting that Brennan wait another moment, and soon, another female appeared, dangling the flier in front of Venir's face, abruptly asking if it was her doing. Brennan sighed, and responded for Venir, "Yes, it was her doing, now, can we get going, please?" Brennan started to walk out of the guild hall, he knew that Venir would follow him, but he wasn't sure about this Ziska persona. Brennan needed to catch these stupid slavers, they would pay for not having regard for Human Rights, for forcing these poor women to be treated like nothing but objects.
Soon, Brennan approached a dock, and simply observed the ships for a while. Many of them appeared to be normal fishing boats, some more rustic than others, however, there were a few boats that stood out, that didn't look like they belonged there. Brennan crept up to one of them and observed. There were large amounts of provisions on the boat, which would mean that there would be a long trip, which meant that that boat could very well be the slaver boat. But Brennan couldn't risk being caught, so he hid and observed the boat for a while more. Sure enough, there were many women loaded onto the boat who didn't seem to come out of it. "This is the Slaver boat..." Brennan muttered. Brennan jsut sat there, thinking about how he could get onto his boat without arousing suspicion, but no ideas came to mind.

Feeling an all too familiar presence behind her Venir sighed, when would she learn? One hand reaching up to snag the paper dangling in her face and the other reached back to poke at the older woman's eyes. "What he said." Venir gave her trade mark childish grin, her cheeks their usual rosy color. Folding up the job description and placing it in her pocket, a dress with pockets truly a rare find, and soon enough Venir was following right after Brennan. It was going to be a long walk after all.....~*~
Hargeon Town! It has been a long while since Venir had last been there! The smell of the ocean breeze was delightful, the sun pouring down upon her skin, and the salty breeze blew back her platinum hair. "Ahhhh!" She breathed out, stretching her arms above her head. The mission itself was a rather serious one but the young girl didn't seem too concerned, with the three of them there was no way they could fail! Soon enough, Brennan stopped, causing the young mage to stop as well. "That's the boat?" The girl inquired head tilting to the side, "Hmmmmm...."She eyed the boat over for a moment, "Easy! Ziska and I will go on the boat! You wait for our signal?" It would have been easier if the two female mages snuck on first right? The slavers were looking for females, something that both of them happened to be. Then, once inside the two mages could easily create some sort of distraction allowing Brennan to board the ship as well!

COUNT: 298 Member(s): Ziska, Venir, and Skyllon Job: Liberation of Slaves | Ziska was standing there waiting for a reply from Venir, then Brennan say it was her doing and ask to hurry up to go on the job. She doesn't care for Brennan's pushie way he asked he and Venir to get going. As Brennan finished talking Venir snagged the flyer and pokes Ziska in the eye. "Oww!" Venir agreed with what Brennan had said before and started following him out the door. "That little girl is pushing it but with that sweet smile she had on I know she's just playing." Then follows up the rear end of group, right be hide Venir and Brennan. Ziska know it would take a long time to get to Hargeon Town. They finally arrive at Hargeon Town and head straight for the other side of it cause that's where the docks were. Once we got to the docks, Brennan locates the slaver boat then both Venir and Ziska looks the same way he is. "So their hiding in there hmm" and Venir says her an Ziska could sneak on the boat while Brennan waits here. Ziska shakes her head in agreement, then grabs Venir's hand and drag her on towards the slaver boat. "This seems like a boarding way to start the job but at lest we can find the women easier." Both of them join a line of women that where just getting to the boat and are able to get in quietly. Ziska bends down and say "They really should pay more attention to the women they let on the boat. Hehehe" lowly into Venir's ear. Once they get the room with all the women in it and the guards are all out of the room. Ziska says while pointing to Venir "We are here to save you ladies".

Brennan stood and carefully observed as Ziska and Venir boarded the boat, and shifted half of his vision to an alternate dimension, knowing that he would need a weapon with him when all hell broke loose. Brennan watched as the slavers boarded the boat that now contained Venir and Ziska. Brennan carefully observed as more and more women were loaded onto the boat, he was starting to wonder how they could possibly fit that many human beings in a boat. Then, out of the blue, the boat took off, with incredible speed. "Oh crap..." Brennan muttered to himself, pausing to think for only a second before hopping on the nearest boat and following the slaver boat, and then it dawned on him, he had absolutely no idea how to pilot a boat.
Brennan tried to steer the boat in the right direction, but all he did was make himself look more suspicious, after all, a boat that's zig-zagging everywhere is more than suspicious. When Brennan felt like he was close enough to the Slaver boat, he jumped off of his boat, or rather, the hi-jacked boat, and hung onto the edge of the Slaver's boat, hoping that he would fall off, all while searching for a weapon in an alternate dimension. As Brennan clung onto the edge of the boat, he decided that this was officially the worst idea that he had ever had, and that the slavers would probably catch him and execute him. That probably wouldn't be good, so he just kind of hung there, staying hidden, hoping Ziska and Venir would soon do something useful, so that he could jump onboard and do something productive.

A frown found its way on the girls normally happy features as her hand was grabbed, and she was more or less dragged towards the ship. Sending one last forlorn glance to Brennan, Venir could only turn her gaze forward to stare at the ship and the women boarding it. It was a risky plan to say the least, but it would have to work. At the very least the two weren't in line very long, the slavers were efficient about getting them on board fast but not very efficient at checking to see who was boarding. "This just works in our favor." Surprisingly clever for her apparent age, Venir boarded, soon enough leading the pair of mages onto the ship. Once on, following the line of women who all from first glance didn't seem to be mages, "It's hard to control mages. Regular people on the other hand..." All it took was a bit of brute force or another mage to control non-magic using civilians. ~*~
Perhaps only a few moments later, the two Eclipse Soul pair ended up in the cargo hold, with countless other slaves. The slavers who had boarded them on the ship gave one last glance to those within before shutting and locking the door behind them. "Whew~!" Venir sighed, the experience a bit nerve wracking but it all worked out. At Ziska's exclamation Venir sighed once more placing a hand to her forehead, "Oh my..." The women looked at Ziska skeptically, hope in their eyes, but none of them said anything. Clambering up to her feet, at least the slavers didn't put any chains or cuffs on them, Venir glanced about the cargo hold. "Now how to create a distraction?" The young mage pondered, moving her way through the crowd that had gathered. A sudden lurch in the ship nearly caused Venir and countless other women to fall over.
"Oh no...." She whispered, the ship was moving, and the two of them were still on it! Not to mention Brennan might still be on the docks waiting for some sort of signal, "Please don't do anything stupid!" Venir prayed to whoever might be listening but it was hard to say what Brennan might do, Eclipse Soul mages tended to be more on the rash side....

COUNT: 364 Member(s): Ziska, Venir, and Skyllon Job: Liberation of Slaves | Ziska noticed as Venir and the other women fall over that something was wrong. Then at that same time she felt it from the bottom of her feet that the boat was move at a fast passe. "This isn't good at all, Brennan is back at the docks and I'm sure Venir is aware of this to." Ziska is trying to think of a safe way to take over the boat without putting the women in the same room as her in harms way. She finally comes up with a plan a few minutes later but it still has a few hole in it regarding the safety of the women. Something has to be down soon or the slavers may reach where they are going and we would have to deal with a lot more of them and the percent of the women being unharmed would be even less then now. Ziska walks over to Venir slowly then whispers into her ear, "I have a plan but its really risky. So when it comes down to it I want you to protect the women over me and if hear me make any weird sounds you need to stay back." Her plan was to bring all of them to her and Venir so yea way its limited space and less likely for the slaver's to be able to get to the women. Ziska pats Venir on then says to her and all the women, "Its gonna be okay." She then turns to face the door and slowly walk toward it while drawing out Enlil. Ziska still really glad and confused at why the slaver's never tried to take the her weapons. "Hehehe. They aren't to smart" she smirks to her self. Once at the wooden door Ziska rises her katana and quickly makes an "X" cut on the door. Then she brings her leg up and with full force kicks right at the middle of the "X" she had to made. A loud crack found by a sound of something smashing into the floor echoed though the whole boat. Ziska smiles as she yells "Come and get us little boys!" as loud as she could.

Brennan heard the slavers yelling, and running towards some specific spot. He could only assume that Ziska and Venir had come up with some plan to save the slaves. Brennan grinned and hopped on board, and immediately knew that they were outnumbered. There were at least forty slavers there, and there was no way that the three of them could handle forty slavers, unless one of them had immense strength that Brennan was completely unaware of. Brennan slipped his scythe out of an alternate dimension, and entered a defensive pose. because he himself would not be able to handle any of these slavers, just because of their sheer numbers. Brennan was as quiet as he could be, but he tripped over, well, nothing, and fell on the wooden deck. Brennan groaned and looked up, just to find a massive group of about 20 slavers looming over him, he was totally screwed.
Brennan didn't want to die, he liked living, he liked it quite a bit. "Erm, how do I go about becoming a slaver?" He stammered, hoping to avoid his almost inevitable death. The slavers chuckled, before conversing among themselves and throwing a ridiculous outfit to Brennan, one very similar to their own outfits. "Put on and work." One of the slavers, who had a ridiculously thick uni-brow, said with a thick accent. The salvers didn't go away, and they obviously expected Brennan to change then and there, so Brennan did, and it was a very disturbing experience. After changing, Brennan decided that these men were absolute idiots, after all, they had believed his claim that he wanted to become a slaver.

"What?"
One blonde brow raised itself skeptically at Ziska's rather vague plan, not even properly explaining it to her. At the pat and the reassurance Venir could only sigh, she didn't mind it when Alyia or even Deniel treated her a bit like a child but to have others treat her like a child irritated her to no end. Even though when it came down to it Venir gave off the appearance of a child. "Please don't do anything stupid!" She prayed once more before turning to face the women, "Don't worry! We're mages from Eclipse Soul. We've been sent to help you!" She beamed doing her best to reassure them, the mention of mages at the very least made some of the women perk up. If there was one thing that earned respect in Fiore, it was the ability to cast magic.
At the sound of a large crashing sound Venir brought her palm to her head, a headache coming on, was this what Deniel felt like? "Ziskaaaaaa." She huffed turning on her heel once more only to hear the woman shout something that sounded like a challenge to the slavers. "Oh my goddess..." She huffed storming towards the woman, small hand reaching up to grab at her sleeve, yanking Ziska down to her level with a surprising amount of force for such a small body, "What were you thinking!?" She demanded, "They're all gonna storm down here in this closed space now, with countless vulnerable women inside! This is no place for a battle!" She frowned loosening her grip on the woman, "We got to go. Tell the women to stay put and that we're gonna settle this ourselves." With that Venir dashed down the hall as fast as her little legs would carry her. One hand was already upon her curious little bracelet prepared to yank it off at a moments notice.

Brennan had followed the orders of the Slavers, and now, apparently, he had been accepted as one of their own, except apparently, he was just a glorified slave himself. He picked up a mop and began to drag it across the floor. In his current state, there wasn't really much he could do, so he just dragged the mop across the floor across the floor of the ship, it was quite a repetitive process, but it was really the most he could do, at the moment. He then placed the mop back in a bucket, and grabbed a rag, kneeling down on his knees a vigorously scrubbing the areas that he had wet with his mop. This was also quite repetitive, but once again, there was nothing much he could do other than this. Eventually, Sky came up with a rhythm, and the scrubbing was still as time consuming as it ever was, but Sky was now doing it absent-minded, not even paying attention to the scrubbing. At this point, Brennan was really just dreaming of being more useful in battle, perhaps he could learn a more different, useful type of magic, one that actually allowed him to be useful in combat. During all this, Sky had stopped scrubbing, and his 'boss' had noticed. He then proceeded to kick Sky until he grabbed the sponge and started scrubbing once again. Sky groaned in pain as he scrubbed, extremely angry at his 'slaver boss'. Eventually, he finished scrubbing, and stood up, sighing as he leaned against the wooden rails of the ship.

Venir could only groan in response to Ziska, "I'm not sure about your magic but I prefer to use mine in an open space." She sighed as she dashed down the halls with Ziska not too far behind her. As Venir rounded a corner in the hallway two slavers appeared, both wielding a gun and a sword in either of their hands. "Ah!" She yanked her bracelet off of her wrist as soon as she spotted them, the curious item shining with a brilliant light that enveloped Venir a moment later. The light was enough to distract the two slavers, "Include!" Venir shouted, card already in one hand and her staff in the other, her mana infused pink frilly dress had already appeared on her. She slipped the card on the star of the staff just as the two slavers were preparing to aim their guns. Two gunshots rang through the corridors, startling Venir for a moment, the sound of guns still terrified her and sent twinge of pain through her abdomen. Luckily, her spell had cast in time.
A translucent mirror like object had projected itself in front of Venir, the bullets made contact with it before rebounding back at the two slavers that had fired it. The two bullets dug into one of the slavers knocking him to the floor. "Ziska take care of the other one." She didn't think she could deal with the sound of another gun shot, it made her feel sick. She dashed forward as the one slaver was attempting to reload his weapon but she jumped right over him. Praying that Ziska could handle the gun/sword wielding slaver on her own, Venir charged through the halls until she reached a set of double doors. Slamming her shoulder into the door she burst through it and out into daylight.
"Install!"
She shouted as she hit the deck, landing into a crowd of slavers who looked at her with surprise written across their faces. They certainly weren't expecting a pink clad young mage to storm the deck. A magic circle appeared beneath her feet, pulsing with a white light that soon enveloped the mages petite frame. The pink frilly garb was soon replaced with a white dress, a silver like metal breastplate covering her chest, silver gauntlets upon her arms, and tall metal boots to match. She was the perfect image of a petite warrior, even her face seemed a bit older with her platinum hair pulled back into a high ponytail. The weak slavers looked on in a bit of awe before scrambling about frantically,
"She's a real mage!" One of them shouted, a few jumped off of the ship but the rest scrambled to get away from her. They pushed over each other, their fear of a little girl was amusing to say the least.

Out of the corner of his vision, Skyllon saw Venir burst onto the deck, and started to stand up in order to greet her, when a 'fellow' Slaver grabbed Sky's shirt, and jumped off the edge, dragging Sky along with him. "What the hell?!" He screamed, as he fell off of the ship. The Slaver still wouldn't let go of Skyllon, so, slowly, he felt the water entering his body. Skyllon was drowning, slowly, painfully suffocating as the water entered his lungs. "Nyargh!" He screamed, but he was underwater, and his screams were in vain, totally unheard. "Help!" He attempted to scream, but once again, it was in vain, totally unheard. However, the Slaver holding onto him left go, and Skyllon quickly swam to the surface, trying his absolute best not to fall unconscious. Eventually, he hit the surface, and gasped for air, almost hyperventilating, he was so relieved to have air at his disposal once again. He gasped for breath, each breath magic him even more elated. "Air!" He said quietly, "I absolutely love air." He said a little louder, "Thank God for air." He said, with a normal tone of voice. He was still in pain from the water that had entered his lungs, however, just having air at his disposal was a relief. He swam towards the ship, proceeding to hang on for his dear life. He clung there, hoping that Venir and Ziska would eventually realize where he was, and come save him, as he was really tired, and would probably faint soon.

Venir couldn't help but hear a familiar sounding screaming despite the chaos. Following the scream was a splash although there were countless splashed to be hear with many of the lowly slavers abandoning ship. The scream sounded similar to...."No way!" She dashed towards the edge of the ship to peer over the railing, her metal boots making loud clicks upon the wood of the ship. "Skyllon!" The young mage shouted over the railing searching the sea's for a somewhat familiar guild mate. There were plenty of slavers floating in the water but she couldn't quite spot Skyllon. A harsh shove from behind sent Venir toppling over the edge of the ship, hitting the cold waters with a splash. She resurfaced, strongly to stay above the water, her armor not exactly fitting for swimming.
The sea water burned her eyes making them water, and whenever she attempted to take a breath the water ended up getting caught in her throat. Despite that she spotted a familiar figure clinging to the side of the ship. "Include." She croaked up more sea water, but the card she placed on her staff listened to her plea. It absorbed with ease, and the power of flight was granted to the practically drowning girl. She moved quickly through the water, grabbing onto Skyllon by the hood and flying the two back up to the deck with quite a bit of struggle. She dropped her guild mate onto the wood, while she herself hit the deck with a thud. "Ow." It was quickly followed by a fit of coughing, trying to get as much sea water out of her lungs as possible. However, the young mage did not notice the forgotten slaver, with his gun pointed at her head.

Skyllon stared at the slaver, who had a gun pointed to Venir's face, however, the young girl seemed to have forgotten about the Slaver that had pushed her over. "Erm..." He poked Venir apprehensively, coughing as the Slaver cocked his gun. As he pulled the trigger, Skyllon threw himself in front of the gun, his consciousness drifting to another dimension, however, that didn't do very much, considering that there were now three holes in Skyllon's chest. The blood of his ancestors was able to seal one of the holes, and Skyllon was able to ignore much of the pain by drifting his conscious off to another dimension, but that didn't mean he wasn't physically impaired. He stood up, clenching his chest, his hand full of blood, and suppressing a groan, he punched the slaver in the face. It wasn't enough to much damage, but he was dazed, and hopefully, Venir would be able to get a hit or two in before he had time to react. "Bastard." He muttered under his breath, seizing his chance and limping out of the man's line of sight. He wondered if Venir had noticed the man, but as far as Sky was aware, he was out of bullets and hadn't reloaded his gun, so the girl should be safe, for now. Skyllon limped past the door and into the ship, finding an empty room and clenching his bloody chest. He hated guns, this was why he used melee weapons, he absolutely, positively hated guns. Granted, he did have one gun in his arsenal, but that was out of necessity.

Briefly, Venir felt someone poke her. She managed to open one watering eye as another coughing fit enveloped her. Skyllon was obviously the one who had poked her as to why she couldn't discern at first, couldn't he see that she clearly almost drowned? Yet finally her ruby gaze drifted towards the gun pointed at her. All she could do was freeze as she looked down the barrel of the gun, a familiar feeling ripping through her abdomen as memories washed over her. Her job with Lekuna, a disaster of a job that nearly resulted in both of their deaths. Lekuna's nearly at Venir's sword, and Venir's nearly at Lekuna's gun point. The platinum haired girl still bore the scar upon her belly from where the bullet had hit her. It was only natural that she disliked gun and even more natural that when one was pointed at her that she freeze up.
Just as the gun made a click, and a shot echoed through the air a body tossed itself in front of her. Instinctively, Venir had closed her eyes from the the loud and terrifying noise, preparing herself for the pain to come, or even for the cold embrace of death. Yet neither of those came. Slowly, Venir opened her eyes to see Skyllon in front of her. "Y-You-" She choked out glancing between her injured guild mate and the one who had hurt him. She rushed forward towards the gun wielding slaver who was hurriedly trying to reload his weapon, "Ahhhh!" She slammed her shoulder into him, taking both of them over the edge of the ship once more, but only one of them could fly through magic. As the gun wielding slaver hit the water Venir once more landed upon the deck, her armor still dripped of sea water but her lungs were finally clear of it. It appeared to be just her on the deck but Skyllon was nowhere in sight, and the only sign of him was a trail of blood, "Oh no...." She gasped before moving to follow the trail.

Skyllon hacked and wheezed, had he mentioned that he hated guns? He stood up slowly, the gunshot wounds slowly healing. He limped out onto the deck and did not see the Slaver, so he started to approach Venir. "Hey there." He said, weakly grinning and clutching his chest. "Have I ever told you that I absolutely hate guns?" He smiled weakly and collapsed, noticing that he was losing a lot of his blood, and that probably was not a good thing, not for him, or for anyone unfortunate enough to slip on his pool of blood. His vision started to blur, and Venir no longer looked like a human being, she looked more like, well, a blob. Skyllon tried to stand up, but found himself unable to perform even a feat as simple as that. His eyes slowly drifted shut, and he fell unconscious. The blackness would have been soothing, if he were conscious, however, he wasn't conscious, he was unconscious, on the verge of death. If all of Brennan's lost blood were to have been collected, it would be found that he had lost an astounding 50% of his blood. The chances of him surviving were almost nonexistent, and unless some did something soon, Brennan would die a particularly painful death. However, the blood of his Ancestors was hard at work, even after Brennan lost consciousness. Slowly but surely, blood was creeping back into his circulatory system, it would be a while before he regained consciousness if no one helped, but the chances of death were lower, thanks to his ancestors.

Venir had only just begun to follow the trail of blood when her injured guild mate had reappeared. She hadn't even left the deck yet, for an injured man Skyllon moved awfully quickly. "What are you doing!? You shouldn't be moving around like that." The platinum haired girl scolded what appeared to be her elder though in reality it was the other way around. Skyllon had managed to utter some words that Venir could relate to, apparently they had found something in common in rather bleak circumstances. Her blue haired guild mate had managed a rather pathetic attempt of a smile before collapsing in a puddle of his own blood. "What an idiot." The irritated but twinged with worry thought traveled through her head as she went to move him as carefully as possible. She had dragged him to the edge of the deck, to keep him away from harm's way before she inspected the wounds upon his chest.
They were grave, any regular human would have been dead by now. Yet it would appear that Skyllon was anything but regular, the wounds slowly but surely already beginning to heal. Of course it appeared as though they needed a little help, something that Venir was able to provide. She slipped one of her cards out of its frilly holster and placed it upon her staff. "Include!" She muttered, the card absorbing with a flash of light. She then placed the staff over Skyllon's chest, right where the wounds were. The golden star, with white wings on either side of it, hovered but a few inches over his bloodied chest, "Heal!" Crimson orbs burned with determination as the golden star emanated a soft yellow, warm glow. It would heal much but hopefully it would help close the holes, or at least aid her guildmate's quick healing abilities. However, as she focused on the healing of Skyllon, Venir almost didn't notice the enemies coming up from below. Apparently, Ziska was unable to hold them off, or at the least had managed to bypass them or even went protect the women in the cargo hold as Venir had requested.

As Skyllon's blood seeped into his body, he felt a glowing warmth, a warmth that would help him wake up. The bullet holes started to fade, and Skyllon's eyes flicked open. He pushed himself up with his hands, only to be greeted by another slaver, standing over little Venir, pointing a gun to her head. He sighed and stood up, causing the Slaver to shift his aim at Skyllon. "Do I have to get shot again? He mumbled, just quietly enough that no one heard him. He then dashed towards the Slaver, bang, bang, bang. Once again, there were three bullet holes in Skyllon's chest. Before he fainted, he saw an opening as the Slaver reloaded his gun, and dashed as near the inside of the ship as he could. He was able to reach a wall, and supported himself against it, groaning, getting shot was freaking annoying. At least he didn't feel much of the pain. Skyllon then promptly collapsed, once again, in a pool of his own blood. The wounds he had suffered would have killed a normal person long ago, however, Skyllon was not normal, so, his blood ever-so-slowly trickled back into his body. Had Skyllon been awake, he would have beat the crap out of the goddamn slaver, however, he was not awake, he was collapsed in a pool of his own blood. Without help, Skyllon would probably stay unconscious for at least another one or two hours. Skyllon's unconscious mind, and, to some extent, his conscious mind, were all hoping that Venir would be able to beat the Slaver.

"You have got to be kidding me."
It was the only thing that Venir could think of after hearing the familiar click of a gun behind her. Guns still terrified her but these gun wielding mages were becoming rather pesky to deal with. Even more pesky was her persistent guild mate who seemed intent on getting himself shot, perhaps he had some secret death wish? If it had been anyone other than a guild mate Venir would have been rather irritated at the situation, more at the slaver than the mage, but luckily it was her guild mate and instead she seemed almost worried. However, it would do her no good to check up on the blue haired mage while the gun wielding slaver still lurked about. He easily could have put some bullets in her while she tended to Skyllon, and another bullet within her body was not something that Venir would have enjoyed.
Subconsciously her fingertips brushed over her abdomen, ghosting over where the silver scar lay upon her flesh. Those fingers clenched into a fist and with a shout she charged at the slaver still stuck reloading his weapon. It was rather difficult to reload guns and it was one of the reasons as to why Venir never used them, along with her dislike of them of course. "Ah!" She shouted her standard battle cry and brought her staff down as hard as she could upon the slavers head. Despite her apparent size and age, Venir was still a more than capable mage, and along with being a mage she had a lot more strength then most grown men. The curious metal of the staff connected with the slavers head perfectly, a growing lump forming upon his skull as his body hit the deck with an audible thump. "Now to check on Skyllon-" She thought with a relieved sigh but still more enemies rushed to the deck much to Venir's dismay.

Skyllon heaved himself up, walking extremely strangely, as he was still extremely injured. He noticed that more slavers were arriving and cursed under his breath. He lugged himself to a secluded corner of the ship and breathed heavily. The wounds were closing, but he was still very much in pain. He wasn't very sure what to do, so he just sat on the ground and cracked his knuckles. He would have to rely on Venir, he was completely and totally out of his league. He stood up and leaned against the wall, clutching his wounds. He had been shot six times in one day, it was extremely irritating, and also extremely painful. He stared bitterly at the water, still scared of drowning, even though he was a good yard and a half above the water. Almost drowning had been a horrible experience, and he was almost sure that he had developed a phobia of water. How was he going to get out of here alive? Venir was a pretty strong mage, but it didn't change the fact that she was extremely young. He wished he could help Venir fend off the slavers, but he was extremely weak, and he was also quite the novice. He wasn't even actually sure what kind of magic Venir even used, but he did know that it seemed to be effective against the slavers, so he didn't question it. Brennan sighed, disappointed in his weakness, and leaned against the wall again. He yawned, and fought the urge to close his eyes.

The enemies that had found themselves on the deck were not your average slavers. One of them was woman and the other a man, but the two of them carried themselves differently. "The Captain and the First Mate." Venir briefly realized as the two made their way onto the deck with a certain sort of swagger. The two of them looked so natural as if this was where they belonged and were destined to be. The light from overhead sun caught their weapons just right creating a glint that Venir noticed causing her heart to almost stop. "More guns." She paled at the thought but despite wanting to cry or run away she held her ground. She had a guild mate, no make that guild mates, and an entire ship of slaves to protect. Skyllon had fallen out of Venir's crimson eyes sight, wherever he was she could only hope that the male was safe and not totally bleeding out. If she was lucky perhaps her job partner would actually step in and help at some point, provided that he didn't get shot again. At least she had managed to retain their attention, perhaps the captain and her second in command hadn't noticed her guild mates presence aboard the ship.
Gritting her teeth Venir fished a card or two out of her card holster. The captain and the first mate approach, no one had dared to draw their weapons just yet. It was a quiet sort of recognition, each of them recognizing eachother's strengths but weaknesses had yet to be determined. Well, almost undetermined save for Venir's rather obvious one,
"What a cute little thing I'm sure she'll fetch for quite a high price. Provided that we can get that ridiculous stick away from her."
