Personality:
Talos is a restrained individual. Rarely does he go out of his way to get involved in the business of others. The same is also true with his own agenda. He will do his absolute best to not get others involved if at all possible. Instances where Talos ends up involved in others affairs are when he encounters a being that is overtly aggressive and hostile. To him such behaviours are unruly and completely unnecessary.
While not getting involved with others ordeals is a priority to Talos, being ill-informed is the mother of all screw ups in his eyes. Curiosity of the ongoings of the world are important to survival. While this may seem contrary to not getting involved, involvement is a choice as much as being knowledgeable.
One of Talos’s shining qualities is his honesty. This is more of a bad thing than a good thing as he is more likely to be out right blunt. One shouldn’t come to Talos asking his opinion without expecting to hear every painful bit of it. This quality has been known to build animosity between Talos and others. The truth hurts.Talos is rarely optimistic. The world is seen through a glass half empty. The wealthy and powerful prosper and the weak and poor die. Life is a cold hard thing, unkind to many. Talos will sometimes to small favors for the less fortunate, not to many though, almost as to go unnoticed. Everyone should have a few good things in their life.
The scars he bares are from an attack that occurred when Talos was a child. A dear childhood friend of his was attacked by band of thugs. Upon a killing blow the child Talos tried to save his friend. He threw up his arms to guard and caught a blade in his flesh. A blade thrust into his chest and cast him aside. These wounds would seal up and become scars that would forever burn with failure. His friend had been finished off, he too almost, if the authorities hadn’t intervened and saved him in the process.
This event in his past has made Talos cautious in battle. All actions that are taken by him are to ensure that he never loses a comrade to combat ever again. The loss of his friend will forever weigh down as a burdon upon him. Talos is no leader. The thought of being responsible for possibly making a decision that could end the lives of his friends is not something that he could comprehend. This is mostly due to his decision making ability, or lack there of. This kind of thing is better left to those who are confident in their ability to lead. Talos has much respect for leaders. If someone is sure enough to make a tough decision he will back it and give it everything he has to ensure that it will not fail. Every order given is followed to a tee, no questions asked if given by someone he fully trusts.
