Enma vs Marros

Enma walked through the arena, pumped and ready. He was sparring with another mage from Eclipse Soul, a Satan Soul user. He was dressed in the three quarter tee, white and red half-calf sleeves that he had from Renner. He started to stretch. Satan Soul is no joke, but neither was Lightning Magic. No doubt, the mage was a close combat user, so lighting eyes and Lighting Knight will be useful.

Marros Graven, user of Satan Soul, was second and last into the arena. He had forgone his jacket and wore simply a blue t-shirt, black gloves, green pants and brown boots. Atop his brow were his trademark goggles and in his mouth a cigarette. As he got into position he flicked the cigarette away and looked at his opponent. A lightning magic user called Enma. He suspected that the man specialised in distance combat, but it was never a good idea to make assumptions. He'd have to analyse this opponent first and then strike.

Yo Enma. Let's get this started." he said with a smirk. He was gonna enjoy this. He was certain of that.

"Yo Enma. Let's get this started." Enma smirked at his opponent back. He admired his courage, and will to battle. But Enma had the will to. His lighting powered will was also powerful. "Alright. Lightning Bolt!" Enma said as a lightning bolt grew in his hand, and he threw it at his opponent, and it increased from 6 inches, to a whopping 2 feet.

The time it had taken for the lightning bolt to grow had been enough time for him to prepare himself to block the blow. Unfortunately, he could only activate a single takeover at a time currently due to lack of magic energy, but once one was activated he only had to wait a bit to activate a second. It time to bring this battle into his style which was close range. Aerial combat would not be useful here so that put out pazuzu and a lightning mage was likely to be fast. That gave him two options. He decided to go with his own lightning-based one as it would cover the distance better and it was possible his opponent didn't have lightning resistance despite being a lightning user.

"Legs of Raijin." he stated and his legs crackled with electricity before transforming to ones similar to a horse. The legs were gold and the hooves black. With a quick burst of speed he charged forward aiming to launch a roundhouse kick at his opponent. If it hit it would test his electrical and physical resistance because the legs were charged with electricity and also were more powerful in terms of kicking.

Enma was surprised Marros had blocked his bolt, but he did not wonder on it. “Legs of Raijin,” the Satan Soul user said, as his legs transformed into legs similar to a horse. They became gold with black hooves. “Lightning legs?” Enma wondered as he braced for the attack. The mage sped towards him, and tried to roundhouse kick Enma with blazing electricity. Barely, Enma evaded to the right moving out of the way. He unsheathed his sword, his Kusangi. He rushed towards Marros, with his sword following behind him as he raised it to slash his shoulder.

The problem with the Raijin legs was that they were mostly for speed over linear terrain. A slight dodge would be all that was needed to make an opening. An opening which his opponent exploited cutting into the flesh of his shoulder with a sword. His opponent was very quick. Quick enough to exploit that small opening to get in this blow. As he winced from the pain he tried to grab the arm and use his left left to strike at his opponent's shin. If it hit it would hurt a lot unless he was armored and very, very tolerant to pain. The grab would also give him a bit of an edge for when his takeover energy recovered.

Enma saw his opponent clutch his shoulder as his Kusangi hit its mark. He smirked. Quickly enough, Marros tried to use his left hoof to kick him in his shin. Enma then back flipped away, dodging the attack. Sure his opponent was fast, but being a pure lightning mage, he was faster. Raising his sword, he activated a spell, saying “Lightning Knight!” His lightning then surged into Kusangi powering it up. He couldn’t use any other regular Lightning moves while Lightning Knight was in effect, but his Lightning Sword Art would be enough. “Lightning Sword Art; Lighting Slash!” he yelled as he rushed towards his opponent, with a lightning cut, aiming for his lower abdomen.

'Damage Dice' :

Marros was surprised at the lightning knight ability. It was very impressive. It seemed in terms of magical power his opponent surpassed him sliightly, but that didn't mean he was going to win. "Left arm of Ghelgath" he stated and his arm froze solid. A second later it broke free as a white arm, thinner than his normal one with ice claws radiating an aura of cold. He turned to the side to attempt to dodge the strike and thrust his arm forward to try and stab his opponent in the shoulder with the ice claws. If it hit it would freeze the shoulder solid causing some frost bite.

Name: Left arm of Ghelgath

Description: His arm freezes solid and then the ice breaks and vanishes revealing a pure white arm with ice-like claws. The claws are sharp and radiate an aura of cold. The arm is of the same length, though the claws add a bit, but is thinner. This has a duration of three posts and a cooldown of two. If damaged heavily it will take four posts to recover.

This is used when brute force seems unlikely to do the job and speed is of more importance. It is also used to slow opponents down and weaken them.
Strengths:

1. Arm is lighter allowing for swifter movements
2. Claws on contact will freeze the area hit. If the area is just grazed then it will cause second degree frostbite, but if the wound is deep or Marros holds onto the target for a while it can cause third degree frostbite.
3. Claws are sharp allowing for cutting damage equal to a weak ranked weapon.



Weaknesses:

1. Can't swim whilst this is active
2. Arm is weaker in physical power than his normal arm.
3. Cannot be used in conjunction with fire type takeovers
4. Fire-based attacks to this arm will cause extra damage (half a rank higher).
5. Exposure to high levels of heat will cause the arm to begin to slowly be eaten away as if exposed to acid. After two posts of exposure it will disperse.
6. If careless he could freeze himself with the claws.
7. Heat-based attacks to this arm will cause extra damage (half a rank higher)
8. Cannot be used in conjunction with water-type takeovers.
9. Exposure to fire will cause the arm to begin to slowly be eaten away as if exposed to acid. After two posts of exposure it will disperse.

Enma saw as his opponent’s left arm turned to ice. Transformation magic was something, and it was powerful. He tried to block the slash, but it was too much. It made contact, and the sword cut his abdomen, as Marros jumped back. Marros then thrusted his arm toward Enma as his speed took him by surprise, as claws came toward his face.

The claw would strike his opponent's shoulder freezing it solid and causing second degree frostbite. He was bleeding from his abdomen, but not as deeply as he could been if it hadn't been for the dodge. His legs would not last much longer so he tried to use the distraction from the freeze to strike with the leg in another roundhouse kick. This kick was aimed at the other shoulder. Whether the attack missed or hit the legs would return to normal shortly after and he would leap back to gain a little bit of distance.

As the claws hit his shoulder, ice went into Enma’s body. His shoulder had frostbite on his shoulder, so it made his arm harder to move. He saw as his opponent tried to roundhouse kick him, only for Enma to barely raise his right arm to block. He then back flipped way, his left shoulder still hurting and frozen. “Hmm, good ice attack. It worked.” Enma then held his sword out, pointing at the ground. “Lightning Sword Art. Lightning Speed Spin!” Enma rushed towards his opponent, spinning with his sword out, almost like a tornado.

His opponent managed to block the powerful kick, but his retaliation missed him narrowly due to a quick dodging movement. This dodge allowed an opening which he tempted to exploit by attempting to the man on his sword arm near the elbow. If it succeeded he would be able to freeze the arm there reducing his opponent's sword capabilities for a while. A very useful thing.

Enma's spin attack missed, and his Lightning Knight attack powered down. It only lasts for a few minutes anyway. He then turned around to see his oppenent coming towards him, his claw aiming at his sword hand.
