Magic Name: Terror of the Void Secondary Magic: N/A Description I am the Alpha and the Omega Abaddon was created at the same time that the world was created. It's main purpose was to observe time as one of the many "Examiners of Time"; with it's specific observation being over humanity. After several aeon of watching over humanity, it has grown disgust and hatred for the race; seeing them as parasitic creatures that only know how to hurt each other and everything within the beautiful planet that was created. The Beginning and the End I am formless and shapeless, Yet I have a tangible form I exist both inside of time And outside of time I am everything And I am the Void Abaddon considered it's hatred for thousands of years only to decide that humanity is unworthy of living. It was at that point that Abaddon gave itself a tangible form, into a shape that would be alluring to humanity, setting it up as a trap for various methods of removing them from this planet. All spells that Abaddon discovers are all crafted by itself for a single purpose; destroying humanity. |
Caine's Descent Description: Long ago there were two brothers who were loved by the gods their name was Abel and Caine. Everything was alright since both were content with what they had, a demon jealous of the affection these two mortals receive from deities decided to meddle with their lives. It decided to create a rift between the brothers love. The rift cause rivalry between both brothers and with the aide of the demon, Caine won and accidentally killed his brother in the process. The gods learned what Caine and the demon had done so they cursed them both. The demon Shamashu and Caine were to share the same body, giving Caine longevity in exchange for the thirst for blood, and the demon only allowed to roam free only once Caine is feeds upon blood. Ability: Gives the user the ability Bloodrage an ability that transforms the user into a demon with tremendous strength (+100% strength boost +25% damage resistance) and the ability to heal serious wounds rapidly upon consumption of blood (Heal user-ranked damage when consuming blood/flesh). Bite attacks for example would heal you per bite attack (if you hit/draw blood)). Their own blood can trigger bloodrage but will not heal them, instead triggering a 2% HP heal. During this state, the user becomes insane, and will attack anything they see. Passively when not or when in bloodrage, the user can smell blood from 50 meters +25/per rank beyond D. If the blood is exposed, doubles the range. Huge quantities of blood can increase the range dramatically for IC-RP benefit (Such as smelling a slaughtered village from miles away). Usage: Once per thread the caster can use Bloodrage. Bloodrage starts upon consumption of blood and lasts for 5 posts. Can’t cast spells while in demon mode. Passive bloodscent. |
Unique Abilities |
Sky Walk Description: While Abaddon is very small in stature, it's ability to move around isn't disrupted by a mere obstacle such as short legs. Capable of walking within the air and sitting upon it as if it was solid ground, Abaddon is capable of using this method as it's primary form of transportation. Abaddon is only capable of doing this due to it's seemingly deity-like composition and power. Effect: Abaddon is capable of treating the air as if was the ground and can climb up air and run across it. Abaddon is also capable of standing still mid-air. Abaddon, however, cannot fly and is restricted to only x ft/meters per rank high:
Adaptability Description: After many, many years of observing humanity, Abaddon has discerned that humans all have something they are weak to. Closer observation made Abaddon realize that human mages all have something they are weak to; with most having an elemental weakness associated with their magic. After many years of pondering and watching the atrocities that humans do to one another and to the planet they inhabit, Abaddon had come with a way to counter all human interaction. It decided to implement a way to change it's fighting method to choose an element at will and utilize it in order to target a human mage's weakness. Effect: Abaddon is capable of changing any offensive spell's attributes to a certain element; any element of it's choosing. If it notices that a human mage is strong against a fire spell, it will utilize water in order to counter it. If it notices a human using technology, it will use Lightning to counter it and so on. Adaptability can be used to augment one of Abaddon's offensive spells and change it's element. After use, this ability goes on a cool-down equal to the spell that was modified. This ability is only useful on offensive spells used by Abaddon alone. Greater Telepathy Description: Abaddon is a timeless and spaceless creature and has thus evolved in a way to not have to speak words out loud. Instead, Abaddon is able to directly speak into the minds of those that it wishes to. Speaking aloud is something humans can do; however, as the godly/demonic creature that Abaddon is it made a conscious decision to not stoop itself to the same level as a mere human. Effect: All within earshot may be spoken to directly into their minds. Abaddon is also able to selectively choose who can or cannot hear it's words. Communication through this way is not effected by sound cancellation or oversaturation due to this being directly sent into the target's mind. Those with a mental block, however, cannot hear the words spoken by Abaddon. Undying Description: Abaddon is seen as a godly or demonic figure due to having lived since creation. It's original job was to observe humanity and record the history of mankind. It is due to this long-life that Abaddon had devised a way to remain alive for a longer period of time. In order to do this, Abaddon decided that being able to regenerate lost limbs or extreme bodily injury was necessary for survival. Effect: Abaddon is capable of regenerating lost limbs, even it's head if needed in a very expedient manner. This also applies to injured organs or if inflicted with a disease. Within mere moments, Abaddon can quickly regenerate itself. However, this doesn't recover any lost health an attack had done to it. Once it's HP reaches zero, it will be treated like any other creature. If the disease, however, is magical in nature, Abaddon cannot instantly heal off the disease and is effected by it like everyone else. |

Description: For a brief moment, Abaddon's head changes to that of a black monster with teeth ranging between 4-6 inches long and fangs reaching up to 8 inches in length with several rows of interlacing teeth, making the teeth look more like a razor sharp blender than actual teeth. Abaddon's head turns pure black with nearly a dozen eyes in a near 360 dome upon it's head. The neck of the creature is capable of expanding and contracting at Abaddon's will with the head of the creature extending outwards and biting into a foe. Deals rank spell damage.
Effect: Abaddon deals Rank worth of magic damage to their HP. This is considered a Bite-Type attack
Range: 25m. +15m per rank after C Rank
Speed: Half the range's distance per secondStrengths and Weaknesses Magic's Strengths Magic's Weaknesses - This ability isn't linear and is capable of changing directions to pursue a target.
- Deals additional 10% damage to human targets.
- Gains bonuses with both Strength and Magic Power bonuses- Light spells (that are higher ranking than Abaddon) used as interrupts cause this spell to withdraw mid-attack due to the bright lights hurting the multiple eyes.

Description: What humans fear more than spiders and death is something with big teeth. Knowing this, Abaddon decided to turn the teeth it does have and make them even larger and even more terrifying for the humans. Upon using this spell, Abaddon's teeth grow to twice the size along with it's jaws growing by nearly twice that size. The teeth became more numerous and they become serrated.
Effect: All bite-type attacks from Abaddon gain an additional +25% damage. Additionally, this also grants Abaddon's bite attacks a +25% speed increase.

Description: Humans are easily terrified by their own mortality. Abaddon is more than willing to show them their own mortality by erecting a wall showing their target upon it, reaching out for them to get themselves down from the wall. However, in a rage, knowing that the images they see are false, they charge at the wall only to find themselves impaled upon the wall they thought was false. Humans are silly creatures that only believe what they want to believe.
Effect: Blocks an attack for D Rank damage. If a target destroys the wall using a melee attack, the wall deals D Rank damage back to the one who destroyed the wall.
Range: Can summon the wall up to 10m away from Abaddon.Strengths and Weaknesses Magic's Strengths Magic's Weaknesses - Melee attacks made to the wall deals damage to the one that destroyed the wall. - The wall is destroyed after taking a single D Rank attack.

Description: Humans rely on blood to carry oxygen throughout their body. If only they were drained of it, they would stop kicking around so much. When Siphoning Fangs is activated, all of Abaddon's teeth become hollowed out to become razor sharp syringes meant for drawing out blood and retaining it.
Effect: All of Abaddon's bite attacks gain an additional +25% damage and causes the target to instantly bleed.
Range: SelfStrengths and Weaknesses Magic's Strengths Magic's Weaknesses - The blood drawn can be used for consumption with the Caine's Descent lineage. - The bleeding has no other side effects other than drawing blood.

Description: With a single glance, the target's muscle mass begins to quickly wither away, leaving nothing left but a hollowed body. This was something Abaddon had developed while in the Void as a means of making human warriors so completely weak that they didn't have the strength to put up a fight. Abaddon had tested out this curse on non-magical humans; however, due to their weak constitution, they simply withered to nothingness. Mages, on the other hand, were much more hardy creatures.
They had the strength necessary to ward off the effects of the curse after a brief while. But it was at this point that Abaddon decided to test the limit of the human body by repeatedly using this curse upon humans. Eventually, the human mages got used to the punishment and learned to adapt to it. While torturous, it appeared that Stockholm Syndrome began to take effect on the mages that were used in the experiment.
Effect: The effected lose 30% strength and take C-Rank DoT damage. (The target takes the initial 50% damage and then 25% damage each post active)

Description: It isn't only Abaddon that finds the existence of humans a stain on history; creatures of many different shapes and sizes from the Void hold great disdain for humanity. Abaddon, itself, had formed a contract with many creatures, to include the Voidlings to come and assist it with it's mission to ruin humanity. These creatures stand at 2 feet tall with wirey arms and legs, two twiggy antennae coming from it's forehead, and large glowing yellow eyes. These creatures do not speak, but are capable of understanding one another.
Passive Effect: Healing of the Void -- While a Voidling is summoned, Abaddon is capable of regaining 5% HP per post while the summon is alive and active.
Active Effect: For the Cause! -- A Voidling is capable of causing itself to explode in a 25x25m area for C Rank worth of damage.Strengths and Weaknesses Magic's Strengths Magic's Weaknesses - Abaddon regenerates a little bit of health per post - Once a Voidling explodes, the spell goes on cooldown with the Voidling being destroyed.

Description: A tunnel to the Void is opened up as Abaddon calls upon terrifying souls to pierce into the target. The tube appears to be a pillar of pure white light with the sound of screaming, tormented souls quickly pouring out and forcing themselves into it's opponent.
Effect: Deal C Rank damage to a single opponent. The target then suffers from blindness, making their attacks miss wildly.
Range: The tunnel has a 5m radius and can be cast anywhere within a 25m radius around Abaddon. The tunnel attacks everything within it's airspace above and below it to the ground.
Speed: 25m/sStrengths and Weaknesses Magic's Strengths Magic's Weaknesses - Quick spell that can be used as a combo from other spells or physical attacks.
- Capable of attacking more than 1 target if there are multiple targets huddled together (AoE rules apply)

Often confused as telekinesis or psychokinesis, Psy-Blade is a martial arts style created by Baal, himself. Psy-Blade consists of 2 major components: Mystic Hands and Weapon Arts.
The Mystic Hands are invisible hands made of pure energy come from Baal's spine. These hands can extend out a massive range allowing Baal to manipulate things by grabbing, pushing, pulling, tearing, holding, and among other things, crushing. Baal is capable of an infinite number of uses (as in, variety of things he can do) with these hands, which appears to look like Baal has power of telekinesis or psychokinesis to those who cannot view the Mystic Hands. Baal is capable of creating as many Mystic Hands as he can.
Psyblade is also heavily influenced by Weapon Arts. Weapon Arts are Baal's ability to manipulate his weapons and are the pinnacle of his physical attack prowess. Weapon Arts can be seen similarly to 'Taijutsu' in other worlds. Using this, Baal is capable of performing super-human combos as well as special skills with his weapons that normal people cannot normally perform.
Baal has recently shown signs of actual psychokinesis and esper-like abilities, where he is capable of manipulating the world simply by using his mind. This comes about from his family line of mystics where they primarily use the ability to alter minds manipulate the world without use of Mystic Hands.
Strengths:
- Baal doesn't need to shout out his spell's name nor does he have to say an incantation. His spells also do not require any particular movement. Due to this, his Mystic Hands abilities can be extremely unpredictable.
- Mystic Hands abilities have no mass and is not effected by gravity.
- Mystic Hands are invisible to everyone else other than Baal.
- Weapon Arts deal magic damage (while remaining as physical attacks) and can be boosted by Physical Damage Boosts
- Weapon Arts require a weapon to be equipped.
- Mystic Hands cannot travel through magic barriers and Baal cannot manipulate anyone behind a magical barrier
- If a Mystic Hands ability with a duration of more than instant is used, no other Mystic Hands abilities can be used for that duration.
- Targets outside of the Mystic Hand's range cannot be manipulated.
- Mystic Hand and Weapon Arts do not benefit from damage buffs to magic.

Unique Abilities:
Levitation Movement
Effect: Due to his bloodline, being a Mystic from another world, Baal is capable of limited levitation. He is capable of floating a foot above the ground/water as he travels. While he cannot fly, he isn't bound to the earth by it's gravity.
Telepathy
Effect: Like his ability to levitate, being able to speak telepathically is one of Baal's family's abilities. He is capable of opening up a mental link with a person (be it a one-way or two-way communique) and is capable of speaking to them through his mind. Baal cannot telepathically speak to people that have mental blocks placed upon them.
Physical Manipulation
Effect: Cable of manipulating things in the world with the Mystic Hands. This can go from holding things within the Mystic Hands to standard push/pull. This is primarily not meant to be used in battle, but for mundane actions.-------------***-------------

- Does not work on opponents of higher rank than Baal.
- Inanimate objects cannot be thrown faster than 15 meters per second.
- Objects thrown at a target does not deal any damage.

Effect: The enchanted weapon deals an additional 10% damage, artificially lengthens the blade by 2 feet.
Spell Range: Single Weapon
Spell Speed: Takes 3 seconds to enchant the weapon
Strengths:
- Artificially lengthened blade cannot be seen by those who cannot use sound magic.
- Due to the loud buzzing from the blade, sneak attacks cannot happen (unless the target is deaf)

Caine's Descent
Description: Long ago there were two brothers who were loved by the gods their name was Abel and Caine. Everything was alright since both were content with what they had, a demon jealous of the affection these two mortals receive from deities decided to meddle with their lives. It decided to create a rift between the brothers love. The rift cause rivalry between both brothers and with the aide of the demon, Caine won and accidentally killed his brother in the process. The gods learned what Caine and the demon had done so they cursed them both. The demon Shamashu and Caine were to share the same body, giving Caine longevity in exchange for the thirst for blood, and the demon only allowed to roam free only once Caine is feeds upon blood.
Ability: Gives the user the ability Bloodrage an ability that transforms the user into a demon with tremendous strength (+100% strength boost +25% damage resistance) and the ability to heal serious wounds rapidly upon consumption of blood (Heal user-ranked damage when consuming blood/flesh). Bite attacks for example would heal you per bite attack (if you hit/draw blood)). Their own blood can trigger bloodrage but will not heal them, instead triggering a 2% HP heal.
During this state, the user becomes insane, and will attack anything they see.
Passively when not or when in bloodrage, the user can smell blood from 50 meters +25/per rank beyond D. If the blood is exposed, doubles the range. Huge quantities of blood can increase the range dramatically for IC-RP benefit (Such as smelling a slaughtered village from miles away).
Usage: Once per thread the caster can use Bloodrage. Bloodrage starts upon consumption of blood and lasts for 5 posts. Can’t cast spells while in demon mode. Passive bloodscent.
Unique Abilities:
Levitation Movement
Effect: Due to his bloodline, being a Mystic from another world, Baal is capable of limited levitation. He is capable of floating a foot above the ground/water as he travels. While he cannot fly, he isn't bound to the earth by it's gravity.
Telepathy
Effect: Like his ability to levitate, being able to speak telepathically is one of Baal's family's abilities. He is capable of opening up a mental link with a person (be it a one-way or two-way communique) and is capable of speaking to them through his mind. Baal cannot telepathically speak to people that have mental blocks placed upon them.
Physical Manipulation
Effect: Cable of manipulating things in the world with the Mystic Hands. This can go from holding things within the Mystic Hands to standard push/pull. This is primarily not meant to be used in battle, but for mundane actions.-------------***-------------

- Must wait 1 post before being able to use any Mystic Hand spells.
- Baal needs to be aware of the attack coming in. Surprise attacks cannot be blocked by this spell.

Strengths:
- Creates space between Baal and his target(s).
- Capable of pushing multiple people down in one casting if they are within range.
- May use this spell on inanimate objects.
- This spell only effects physical targets. Does not effect ethereal/non-physical targets.
- Does not work on opponents of higher rank than Baal.
- Inanimate objects cannot be thrown faster than 15 meters per second.
- Objects thrown at a target does not deal any damage.

Description:
Placing his palm across the flat-edge of his weapon, Baal enchants the blade with his will, sending sonic waves throughout his weapon. This causes the blade to give off a loud buzzing noise while the weapon vibrates quickly and violently.
Effect: The enchanted weapon deals an additional 10% damage, artificially lengthens the blade by 2 feet.
Spell Range: Single Weapon
Spell Speed: Takes 3 seconds to enchant the weapon
Strengths:
- Artificially lengthened blade cannot be seen by those who cannot use sound magic.
- Due to the loud buzzing from the blade, sneak attacks cannot happen (unless the target is deaf)
- If Baal loses control of his weapon, the enchantment disappears.

D Rank Spells:
Fangs of the Void: +10% is really small, I advise increasing the buff to 25% and also increase the bite speed to 25% as well. If you like, you can also reduce the CD to 4 posts but doing so would mean you'd needa change one of your weaknesses.
Siphoning Fangs: Unfortunately I can't allow spells the circumvent written rules like the one for buffs so I'll have to ask you to remove strength #1. However, you may ask an admin for permission to have the spell like that and provide my a screen shot of it if they approve. Aside from that, I advise increasing the buff to 25% since 10% of anything is really tiny on site.
C Rank Spells:
Withering Curse: 20% is an okay debuff, but I advise increasing it to 30%. I'd also like you to specify the mechanic for the DoT since there's 2 types of it. Also the range says "radius" but the effect says you look at someone and inflict the curse. It confuses me because "radius" implies AoE, but looking at someone implies singular target. Unless you target 1 person, and the AoE occurs for 25 meters around him/her/it; in which case I'd like you to specify it please.
Summon Voidling: 2%HP is rather small, I advise increasing this to 5%.
Pillar to the Void: I advise leaving the height of the spell at "Everything within its airspace" meaning that the pillar can slam anything above it.

Fangs of the Void/Siphoning Fangs: Both had the same strength. Just nixed them and got rid of the long cool-down.
Withering Curse: Upped to 30%. The AoE is basically how far the target can be from Abaddon for the spell to be effective. But yeah, i hope it's specified better.
