The mountain hair was a lot cooler and more brisk than what Kaia had been used too. The breeze carried with it a gentle but stern chill with it that made her shiver slightly, even under her jacket. Although maybe it wasn't entirely from the cold. Her arrival at this mountain city had prompted her to relax a bit, but that still didn't erase the events that had happened. For weeks, she had been on the run. The magicka archaeological network apex, or more commonly known as MANA, had been tracking the young girl for all this time. At one point, she had carried a special artifact that had been stolen from them, but now, unknown to them, the girl had absorbed the magic and it gifted her special fire magic. She had no idea how to control or use it however, so her only hope was to run from the sinister organization nipping at her heels. For nearly a month this had gone on... Kaia running all over Fiore from the people who killed her father for his research. Never staying anywhere for too long... But maybe that would finally end. A few weeks prior, the young red head had encountered someone she would've never dreamed to have met. Ardere Kasai. The legendary flame god slayer, and Infinity Hydra guildmaster. The wizard had saved the girl from MANA once, and then offered her an escape. An invite to the guild. He had given her a stamp for the guild, and told her to arrive at Terra Ignis within three days... That had been several weeks ago.
She was not going to give up, however. For too long now had she been running and hiding. No more. If this guild could help Kaia learn her newfound magical power, maybe she could finally fight back against the group looking for her. And who better to teach her than the legendary flame samurai himself? This was the only choice Kaia had anyways. It was either that, or eventually be caught by the group and hauled all the way back to Bosco... The Fire Lotus was their focus, and they would let little stop them from acquiring it. However, Kaia was confident that they wouldn't be searching the guilds of Fiore for her, and even if they were, there wouldn't be much they could do without starting a fight.
The young girl grunted as she climbed the last few steps leading to he massive guildhall. She stared up at the doors wide eyed, not believing she would ever be standing here... But here she was. The start of her adventure began here... Beyond those doors.
With hesitation, Kaia pushed on the doors to open, clutching the guild seal that Ardere had given her in her hand. Kaia glanced at the open hall with a lollipop in her mouth... She was indeed hesitant to walk forward. Something she could admit she had never really felt before. Was she nervous?
