Tyriel was injured badly when the Narukami invaded the guild Infinity Hydra. Her downfall being that her weakness was Lightning magic, and while unconscious, she was passed through a wormhole summoned to protect her. The portal meeting her Requip pocket dimension caused a rift to cut her back, both her legs, and her right arm. These cuts were deep enough to leave massive scars that are now a soft flesh toned pink.
Personality:
Tyriel is very interesting, and her appearance really doesn't give her any slack for her personality. Most expect a stuck up girl, who really puts their body language to use. But in all reality, she really just sticks to herself. Some could say she is selfish, but really she just has different goals compared to everyone else.
She is a optimistic person, with skeptic like thoughts. Open to the good in the world, but always thinking of the evil that coats it. Wishing on what won't happen, and always bringing up her hopes. There is a negative reaction to everything in the world, and if your evil, then you will surely bring nothing more than more darkness to the already strained world.
This is why Tyriel is part of Infinity Hydra. Because ridding the world of what evil is possible may bring light to those that live in dear of the dark.
Determined to put her mark upon the world, in terms of saving it, Tyriel works hard to discover secrets hidden in everyday things. One of her favorite things to do is sit high up in the trees and contemplate on how and why things are the way they are. Things from why Tree's grow rings, to why magic is found in some objects but not in others. How is magic sensed? This is information she strives for, to put towards a goal.
As an individual, Tyriel has grown to be a very good leader. As a ace of Infinity Hydra, she has learned to use the feelings of her guildmates to strive forward when weighed upon by evil. At fist, she was really shy about demanding and commanding those around her, but after she learned that they expected it, she has become more open to the idea of leadership.
With a more romantic and optimistic point of view, Tyriel can not help but place her hope in mankind that they can create a peaceful world for the future. And wish that man itself does not purge them into purgatory. She can not help but think this way from all the novels she has read over the many years/
Tyriel certainly has experienced some hardship, but she is the one that looks past that and doesn't let that define her or hold her back. When she lays there and looks up at the heavens, she feels that she can experience peace at last. She doesn't care for cities, the pollution or the crowds and dislikes bullies and in bigger cities that always seems to be a problem. She would much rather prefer to be outside in the trees or playing with butterflies, and eating cakes.
Even though Tyriel does not fight in the battlefield very often, she will always try her hardest, for her friends. She has things in life worth fighting for and will stand her ground even though she has no chance of winning.
Because she feels intelligence is better than brawn, she will try to stay level headed and exploit the weakness of her opponent rather than facing them head on. This ensures she can even defeat the strongest of opponents; she feels that surely everyone has a weakness.
Tyriel would certainly never kill someone, or even come close, but she won't stop fighting until her opponent can't hurt her anymore.
Determination and Will is what drives her forward, rather that be finding friends, or growing stronger so she can protect those that need it. However, she often places her head strong and stubborn butt in the wrong places, like trying to face a wildebeest to protect what is right.
She wants to be a protector and share her feelings with all of Fiore, because she doesn't want anyone to have to go through what she did.
Ever since losing her child and being injured in a fight, Tyriel has possessed a open view about trust. Placing it in those that only prove it. She is sometimes caught up in the sadness of loss, but her family, friends, and love for others keep her driven forward.
Tyriel grew rather distant from her friends, consulting in those that demand her attention. She has had to seek out council with those that say they can help her. Perhaps sadness now overcomes the woman's heart.
Likes:
Books :: Well this is a No-Brainer; Old books, New books, Magazines to Cook Books. Tyriel can say she will read anything. She really enjoys the smell and feel she can get from an actual book. Not everything in the world is comprised of magic and she would prefer to keep it that way.
Dango :: The sweet, succulent taste of them just makes her mouth water. Tyriel is always seen buying them, or eating one. She has tried to make them herself in the past, but Honestly, Tyriel is a terrible cook and could learn a few things.
Clothing :: As a recently made requip mage, Tyriel is all about dressing appropriate for all occasions.
Music :: Ever since the fight with the Narukami, Tyriel became obsessed with music, singing and dancing. She also had taken up a different outlook on the enjoyable things in life since her magic was taken away and replaced.
Dislikes:
Spicy Food :: Tyriel prefers Candy and sweet food rather to spicy food. She doesn't like pretending to be a dragon. If she absolutely has to, she will down it fast, but it is impossible to get her to savor it.
Fire :: Fire, it burns books and paper so easily, precious knowledge destroyed. She does like the light and small heat, but something that can't be controlled is dangerous. Lacrima lights are much much safer.
Being Short :: Unfortunately it is not something she can help so easily, but that does not mean she likes to be picked on.
Dark Guilds :: This makes sense, seeing as how alot of her childhood was ruined by dark guild members.

Family :: This is one of the most important things in her life, and she hoped to convince her brother of their relationship someday...
Guild :: Though Tyriel is not physically strong, she is intelligent and hopes to be the best she can and provide for her new friends
Library :: With Books as her Passion, Tyriel dreams to one day fill a large library with her knowledge.

Loneliness :: Tyriel was really alone when her uncle died, and she hopes to never be alone again now that she has her brother
Bullies :: Because of her Short Stature, Tyriel has always been the butt end of a cruel joke, so deeply she fear being bullied again
Disappointment :: Not in other people, but in herself. Tyriel fears letting down the people that mean so much to her.

When it comes to first impressions, Tyriel puts off a stuck up, and selfish facial expression. She normally always has a book in her hands, or up to her face. But that is because she would rather fill her mind with productive reasoning rather than talk with a uttering imbecile. Not saying that she thinks everyone is unintelligent, just the norm.
Standing at barely over 5 foot, it is very easy to miss her existence entirely. By either looking right over her, or under estimating her completely.
After that first impression, those will realize that she actually can be quite open. Her smile being radiant and white, her eyes a soft lavender color, and her long hair reaching past the nape of her back.
Most would believe she is younger than her actual age, but that is no the case. She isn't well endowed in her feminine build, keeping more of an athletic look, which does not help in the slightest for confused on looker's.
Her typical day to day wear includes elegant dresses, flat shoes, and her magenta hair curled. It does not change much more than that. Every now and then she will pull her hair back, but not too often. Even when using her magic in a battle, Tyriel really doesn't put out alot of effort physical wise. Her brain and intellect holds the upper hand.
