“A modeling job!?!?” Gazette exclaimed, snatching the sheet of paper off the board with lightning fast speed. She couldn’t believe it. Sorcerer Weekly needed a model? While she didn’t much enjoy the idea of being ogled at by strangers, she did like the idea of being in one of her all time favorite magazines! She had to take the job! She had not choice! So, she grabbed together her cutest outfits and took off to magnolia again! However, she was already halfway there when she finally noticed the bit about wearing creations by one of Fiore’s most famous designers, Chanelle.
She wasn’t terribly familiar with the work of Chanelle, as she got most of her clothes from local shops. Though, the things she was going to be wearing were from a line of ‘folksy’ looking clothes. At least, that’s what the job sheet she was reading told her. She was okay with that, it was better than wearing super revealing dresses and pumped up heels. She really couldn’t see herself wearing stuff like that. She had a reputation to uphold, she was the Iron Maiden. Whether or not these clothes they were going to have her wear reflected that or not was yet to be seen.
She arrived again in Magnolia, having just been here a few days ago to force another man to ride the train. However this time her job was going to be keeping her in the area. Not leaving like last time, which she actually preferred. Magnolia might be home to the rowdy bunch called Fairy Tail, but the city itself was beautiful, and they were a pretty famous guild, both for their incredibly selflessness, and destructiveness. She’d be hard pressed to say she wasn’t humbled by their existence. She would have to try and visit sometime, so long as she was in magnolia for business.
She was to meet the representatives from Sorcerer Weekly in the East Forest, and they would discuss the shoot there. She didn’t know what to expect, and she just hoped there weren’t too many people, and that she was given ample privacy to change into whatever outfit they wanted to have her pose in. The more she thought about it, the more she was uncomfortable with it. She didn’t want to assume the worst, because Sorcerer Weekly was a very prestigious print, but she had a feely some creep was going to ruin this experience for her.
When she found herself at the small camp that Sorcerer Weekly had set up, she was very surprised at the lack of men around. It was comforting, because she really did not want to be sat down in front of a camera and told to ‘look more sexy’. She would have probably beat the crap out of someone who said that to her, job agreement or not. She just hated stuff like that, and it irritated the daylights out of her. She was shown to a small tent, and given a neat looking outfit to wear for the shoot. She was told that she could keep the outfit after the shoot, if she wanted to. Which she did, the outfit was super cute, and not at all as revealing as she anticipated.
They brought her out into a clearing, explaining that the outfit she was wearing was inspired by a weaponsmith’s attire. She thought it made sense, and was very creative. She would not think that anyone would look at a weaponsmith and draw inspiration for such a cute outfit. Though, she could see the resemblance. They even gave her a sword to pose with, or at least a prop one. She didn’t bother to check if it was real or not. It had the weight of one, though.
They took several pictures, from multiple different angles, with different expressions. However, the one they decided to use, was the first one they took. One they took before giving her any sort of direction, it was just her enjoying the outdoors and being in a neat new outfit.
She was very satisfied, and thought that she represented herself very well. It was classy and cute, without being overly sexual. She signed off on a few sheets of paper, and she was free to go. She was absolutely giddy with her new outfit, and couldn’t wait to brag about her modeling gig to everyone back at the guild hall. All the… men… back at the guild hall. All the ones who… couldn’t take a modeling job. Oh gosh! They were gonna think she’s a fool! She was suddenly so embarrassed, but she couldn’t exactly lie about it, everyone read Sorcerer Weekly! She was gonna die of embarrassment!
