Alyia Nystrom 311 Words @Fallen Angel |
The blonde looked up at the the sky or, well where the sky should have been, she supposed it was still the sky but if was covered in clouds. So to Alyia it wasn't really a sky, sky's were blue and sunny and shiny and just made people happy in general. This, she looked up, this was not a sky. But, no matter what the angel though they sky was the sky and the coulds continued to float over head blocking out the sun. Why had she come to such a depressed place? Well, that was easy. Or easy to explain rather. She was here for training. She was bound to learn a second magic. With a sigh the blonde back down at the ground and smiled, that was the reason she was in this dreadful place. Almost no one was here and due to this it was a perfect place to learn a new magic especially the one that she wanted to learn, Take Over. Alyia waited for the mentor that she knew she was going to have to face eventually, Deniel Decayuss Thorman. She closed her eyes and her shoulders slumpped, many things had happened between the two and despite all of it she always ended up going back to the giant man for help. This time for magic help. She was learning how to turn into something that had nearly over taken her the last time that she and Deniel had gone on a job together, she knew that he would be able to help her master what it was and how to learn to control it so that the darkness that resised in that form would not completely take her like had nearly did on the job with him. This time, she was going to be the one controlling the Fallen Angel not the other way around. |

"Fear."
Shadow Island. It was the very first time Eclipse Soul's Guild Master had ever been to this location, but it was perhaps not his last. There was a lush amount of trees and vegetation on the island despite there being little to no sunlight, and its very center appeared to have a volcano...or a mountain. From where he was walking, Deniel could not tell which one it was. But he was here not to lollygag or relax. He was here to train one of his members in the arts that he was known for having a high level of skill and expertise: Take Over. And his trainee? Alyia. One of the very first and only members in Eclipse Soul he interacted with back in his loner days, one of his long time friends, and a recently appointed ace under his title of Guild Master. Although quite surprised when she approached him for the idea of learning Take Over, it was something he couldn't refuse. She was in need of his assistance, and it was his job as Guild Master and as a friend to see her through to it. When she told him of the location, he was at first clueless as to where it was, but quickly found out, adding it to his database of locations in Earthland.
And now there he was. Dressed in his jet black clothing, with his short sleeved coat, and single black glove on his left hand. What was different about him was he didn't carry his katana, Nidhogg. Instead, on his journey here, he had its demonic form, Armageddon on his back. The massive sword was nearly as big as he was, with only around five inches separating it from the ground. Although his figure had become more muscular in a short amount of time, the way his body was structured made it seem impossible he could even lift a sword of that magnitude, yet he could do it with relative ease.
He approached Alyia with both of his hands shoved inside of his pockets, and his eyes closed. He ceased his movements several feet away from her, and contrary to how he usually spoke, his voice was no soft and calming: "Are you afraid, Alyia?" He let his question sink into her mind for a moment, before he opened his eyes and elaborated it further: "Are you afraid of me? Are you afraid of the beast you are trying to tame? Are you afraid of losing control of it? Are you afraid of its strength? If you are...we might as well forget it and go back to the Guild right now."

She could feel him, his magic emitted off of his stature as he stood only a few feet away from her. Alyia turned her head to look at Deniel, who had just arrived to the set destination. The frown that she held on her face grew as she looked at him. His words echoed in her mind and soul. Afraid? Honestly she was, but her will she knew was much stronger, she wanted to tame the beast that had taken over her on their last job together. So she supposed the word that described her right now, was not afraid, but cautious yet determined. Narrowing her eyes at Deniel the blonde shook her head. No, I'm not afraid. Not of you, not of the beast, not of what strength that is holds. I was able to fight it off and I know that if it come to it again I can do it. I am not afraid of losing control of it. I. Am. Not. Afraid." Her crystal like orbs seemed to drill holes into her Guild Masters ruby red ones. She was determined. She wanted to do this. She wanted to tame the beast that she knew was crawling around inside of her, just waiting to escape. And she would let it escape, but, not in the way that it wanted to. She was not going to let it reap destruction or death. She was not going to let it take her freinds and family away from her. She would be the one in charge this time and she, she was not going to let the Fallen Angel that resided inside of her Take Over her mind and soul again. That was what she was here for right? To learn how to control it. To learn how to tame the monster that wanted to get out and run ramped. "No, Deniel, I am not afriad." Her eyes spoke the truth as to what she wanted and what she was feeling inside, the will and the determination that the small girl held. As well as the hope and light that resided in her soul ready to take on this new dark form, so that she would never fall to the depths of despair that each Fallen Angel had. "I am ready." She knew that with those words, all hell would break loose. She had chosen a hard mentor, from the first exam that she had ever had. She knew that he would drive her to the end. |

"Fear."
He did not believe her words at first. She carried herself with confidence, but he was a person who was used to the sensing fear from people. That is why he said nothing at first. She said she was not afraid, and maybe she believed it herself, but he did not. He kept both hands shoved inside of his pockets, and stared back at her with lazy red eyes. A brief gust of wind passed by in the silence that the two stared at each other. It wasn't until the second time that she declared her lack of fear did he finally believe her. He briefly closed his eyes and breathed out a very soft sigh, "That's good." This wasn't the first time he trained someone in Take Over. He remembered quite a while ago he had done it for a member in Sabertooth, but he had forgotten her name. Although her beast she was attempting to tame was much less...uncontrollable than Alyia's, the routine would be the same one way or another. Alyia's case was different in the fact that she hadn't learned the Magic, yet becoming a Fallen Angel was possible, just without her control.
But it was time for her to reach control. Slowly lifting his arm to his back, Deniel's right hand with the guild mark on it grabbed on to the brown and spiraled hilt of Armageddon. He lifted the sword from its stillness, bring it several inches away from its initial position, before he brought the rest of the blade from behind his shoulder and head, over his shoulder and in front of him. "Come at me with all you've got. You need to unleash the beast, whether you have control of it or not. And I'll begin the next step. I'll perform an action on you that will send you to sort of an inner world, where you must do battle with the beast." He entered a stance where he firmly placed his left foot behind himself, twisting his entire body so the right side was facing her. He bent his knees, and had his left hand vacant to perform an action, while the right one held on to the massive blade of Armageddon. She might have expected him to enter a Full Body Take Over, but he did not. "And you must figure out the rest from there. Once you're finished, we'll begin the next step. Now...come at me! And don't hold back! I'll use a Take Over only if absolutely necessary."
The lazy, calm red eyes of Deniel furrowed their eyebrows, creating the frown that she might easily remember him carrying multiple times. The hand around Armageddon's hilt tightened, and he was ready for whatever she threw his way now.

Alyia tilted her head at her mentor, really release the Fallen Angel? She didn't know what it could do to him. She knew that it made her more deadly and more thirsty for death, but the blonde also knew that Deniel could handle himself in a fight. With a sigh and a nod of her head the blonde slowly began to undo the locks that she had set on the side of her soul that had reminded black, beginning to free the monster that she held inside of her. Black started to coat her hands and move up her arms towards her chest. Alyia cringed at the pain that following behind it and gritted her teeth closing her eyes. Death seeped across her skin, covering every single piece of it. It spread across her chest and down her torso before taking all of the pale skin that had once covered her legs and turning it black as night. Her eyes opened once again as she looked up at Deniel, blue eyes boring into his blood red ones before she closed them and the blackness took over her head and then the strands of hair. Her clothes started to dicipate leaving her in a skin tight black armour, that had pieces of black bone that stuck out at random angles. What looked like to be a hole in her right side of her chest started to appear and grew until it was about the size of what her heart would have been, if she had one in this form. Her eyes flashing open once more to revealed blood red Alyia, with only a slight control attacked Deniel. Her clawed hands swinging at him before she jumped over him and round house kicked, aiming for his head. She knew that the hits would probably not even touch Deniel, but she could try. But suddenly the Fallen Angel took over for a moment and rushed between Deniel's legs, seeing that Alyia was much shorter than her Guild Master and swiped at his feet, hoping to knock him off his balance so that she could attack once more and actually manage a hit on him. |

"Make the Angel Scream and the Devil cry!"
She could do it by will. That was fortunate. That meant that he could skip an entire step when it came to their training. Some people, based on what he observed, needed some form of trigger in order to transition into a form that they cannot control. Alyia's ability to do it by will meant there was already some form of control with it. He observed as she no longer became the girl he was familiar with. A creature filled with darkness as black as the night, something that reminded him of what was a part of him. And the hole in her chest. All of it reminded Deniel of himself. The sole difference between the creature that stood before him and the Black Devil that resided within him...was he had control over it. And he did not fear it. It was a part of him. But now it was time to give have Alyia the same power he had. The power of control. His stance was for him to be on guard, and prepared to block any attacks that came his way, perhaps counter attacking, but that was not his intent. As the inhuman creature that was once Alyia attacked him, he made no effort to block, avoid, or even hurt her back. He let her sharp claws scratch past his black clothing and cut through his skin.
She was fast. Although she wasn't fast enough to the point where he could not track her, it was significantly faster than he had expected. He felt the harsh impact, and the stinging pain that followed shortly after her round house kick, and before he could even turn towards her, she came at his legs. It was a wise move by her, taking advantage of her height, and just as she wished it knocked him off of his balance and straight on to the ground. Grunting and groaning, he wasn't going to give her a chance to continue her assault once more. He planted his hands on the ground, even the one that had Armageddon in it, and pushed up his body weight with it, flipping himself back up to his feet. He turned towards Alyia once more, rubbing the part of his head where her kick had landed on him. "Ahhh...that hurts. Jeez." He shook off the pain that was created with her attacks, but made no move to attack himself. "Come on at me again! You can do better than that!"

The angel smirked as she watched Deniel fall to the ground, but as she moved to attack once again at the lead of the Fallen Angel she stalled when Deniel stood back up and rubbed the back of his head. Hearing that what she had done, hurt Deniel the blonde hesitated when he told her to come at him once again. But as he made the comment of her doing better she growled and took off once again. This time without a second thought diving into a roll between his legs and flipping back to her feet as she kicked him in the back before using him as a stepping stool and launching herself over his body, landing on her hands and doing a flip to her feet before she sprinted past him her nails scratching at his side before she stopped. Her breaths heavy as she panted. Her mind was starting to get tired, and the monster that hid in the back of it began to take over, making her bare her teeth before lunging at Deniel, the consciousness of the girl that they both knew nearly gone and all that was left was a killing machine. The target? The dark haired man in front her her. A growl emanating from her lips that were nearly non-existent the Fallen Angel bounced backwards, avoiding any attacks that would be coming her way before a pair of pitch black wing sprouted out of her back and the girl took off into the air, grabbing at Deniel's clothes and pulling him up along with her. |

"Time to go to work..."
She appeared to be getting faster and more vicious, probably taking his remark as more of a taunt than a piece of advice. It was initially meant to be one...but if it helped her lose more control, that would just speed things up for him. He could keep up with her movements, but some of her attacks were executed in such a spectacular fashion and proper positioning that he wasn't entirely sure if he would be able to block them if he were actually trying. He wondered if she had figured out yet...he wasn't trying to attack her at all, at least not yet. He let all of these attacks go through, and although they hurt for a bit and probably left a bruise or two, he was relatively unaffected and remained calm. She appeared to be having fun abusing him, shown by her swift attacks and attempts to dodge blows that would never even be launched. His body jerked itself each time she had assaulted him, going in the direction that she hit him in. This was more due to the fact that he was putting little effort in himself, and less due to the strength of her attacks.
Eventually Alyia decided to make a bold move, as black feathered wings similar to ones Deniel had used before sprouted out of her back, her frail and small body lifted him up towards the sky following her. That was the mistake that the Fallen Angel would never make again. "Time to go to work..." he muttered as his clothes had clung to his skin, morphing themselves into scales. The teeth in his mouth quickly grew to fangs as his red eyes turned inhuman and filled with rage. The grip she had on him was no longer on clothes, but on the black scales that now covered his body from head to toe. With no warning, no immense release of Magic, no use of Magic circles, and such a quick transformation, it conveyed just how much Deniel had mastered his Take Overs, and now it was time for Alyia to do the same. With his transformation completing, and finally making an effort to do something, Deniel was the one that began to control Alyia. He gripped the Fallen Angel by her arm, which felt so frail within the firm grip of the clawed hand.
While Alyia had attacked and assaulted him, Deniel's rage and annoyance had actually begun to build up, and now as the Black Devil, they were nearly at its peak. However, he still retained control over his sanity and actions, but he needed to get it out. He jerked the Fallen Angel straight for him, and gave a saliva filled monstrous roar right into her face, before gripping on to it with his right hand. His claws threatened to dig straight into her skull, and he began to force her and himself to descend straight into the ground. He smashed her straight down, with the back of her head colliding with the ground first, as his hand sent an enormous amount of Unholy Energy into her mind and body, so much that the area around them, with the ground and trees were consumed with it. Perhaps he had overdone it with his rage, but regardless he ceased his actions, and now forced Alyia into her own mind and body to do battle with the beast within. It was all up to her now.

Alyia could feel Deniel's clothes turning into scales but she knew that she really had very little control over the Fallen Angel and the angel didn't know what it was in for. The blonde mentally prepared herself inside but the dark angel slowly started to take over her mind too. Kill. That was it's only though. Kill and devour the soul of the now demon that was in front of her. Her black hair hung down as the demon held her straight and roared in her face in which she growled and gnashed back at. Her claws reaching for anything that it could grasp and rip apart. It wasn't afraid of anything even after Deniel had tilted them back to the earth and crashed them down, the Fallen Angel's head hitting the ground and everything going black for both the angel and the Fallen Angel. -*- Blackness surrounded both of the minds, one full of killing and eating the other full of determination. Alyia started to imagine herself standing in the blackness and slowly began to materialize a body in the darkness. Her wings out and her blonde hair falling to her ankles as one of her eyes was red and the other was blue. The angel waited to see if the fallen angel could do the same and looked around to see if she could see anything, but there was nothing. Just empty, nothing was around her yet the blonde knew that the Fallen Angel was here. Surrounding her. "I will eat you. All of you, until there is nothing left. This is the fate for and angel that never went to heaven." |

The angel leered at the voice that surrounded her and looked around, a black mist floated around inside of her head, swallowing any source of light that it could find. 'You want to eat me? You will have to defeat me first. But you can't seeing as mere mist can't touch human flesh and harm it.' The angel taunted hoping to get the Fallen Angel to materialize in front of her. Could she do that, she would be able to finally confront it and tame it. The mist surrounding her began to gather and form into a figure, it was that of the Fallen Angel. A smirk appearing on the blonde's features she popped her hip out and placed a hand on it. The being in front of her was seething in anger and the need to kill. It gave a dark aura off and she knew that it was going to come for her next. 'You don't look so tough. I bet you couldn't even lay a hand on me, much less eat me.' Alyia continued her taunts. She could see them working as suddenly the beast charged right at her with a roar. With her hand still propped on her hip the angels merely stepped aside at the last minute and let the being rush right by her before skidding to a stop. The Fallen Angel was stupid. Things continued like this for a little while longer before Alyia could not hold it in any longer and started to laugh. The Fallen Angel may have been a raging monster but it was merely a child. It had no tact no style, no sense of style. All it was is attack attack attack. It didn't care how it did it as long as it happened. There was no strategy, there was no thinking. It was just acting. 'What are you laughing at girl? You! You have no strategy, you merely just attack without thinking. There would be no possible way for you to win any fight like that.' The angel continued to laugh silently but she knew that she now had a chance and she was going to take it by the horns and not let go. But you know, if we worked together, like we did when we first fought Deniel we could do so much better. Your speed and strength. My knowledge of fighting? We would be able to take down Deniel eventually.' Alyia analyzed the Fallen Angel as it though before her. It must have realized what it was missing That she needed her in order to fight well and Alyia needed her in order to do what she set out for. To tame the beast that had taken over her only a couple weeks ago. 'Agreed.' The blonde smirked and held out her pale hand to the black angel that stood in front of her and as the Fallen Angel took her hand... -*- Alyia gasped as if she had been holding her breath, as she might have just as well been. There she lay on the ground in the dent of the earth where Deniel had smashed her into the ground. A smile appearing across the black features of the Fallen Angel. "Done." |

"A wanderer isn't always lost."
Very shortly after he knocked Alyia out, he remained there for a moments to make sure she had not been faking it, and that his dose of Unholy Energy had worked. The Energy itself was not entirely necessary, but it did speed up the process of knocking her out as it was a very destructive material. The point of this was to knock her out while herself and the beast were seeking control of the body, so the two of them would have to fight for it. One would overthrow the other, and it could not be shared. Satisfied with what had happened, he stood up, momentarily glancing down on her before going to the nearest tree. It was only a few feet away from her, and leaned his back firmly against the tree. Between his scales and the bark was the cold metal of his sword Armageddon, which had observed his actions that he had taken thus far. "Are you confident this will work, Deniel?" Staring down at Alyia's knocked out body, he merely gave a shrug in response before saying: "Can't say for certain. It's up to her."
Remaining silent for several moments, and although knowing almost every one of Deniel's secrets, he was still curious. "When did you develop this method? And have you ever used it on yourself?" Deniel frowned for a moment before he shook his head, crossing each of his arms between each other. "I never had to. I mastered them quite easily, and they're in my blood. I invented this because I'm not an idiot, Nidhogg...I know a lot more about Magic than I let on to." Of course Deniel never told Nidhogg exactly how he developed it, why, and when, but he simply left it there. And for the time being, that was a satisfying answer enough for it. Deniel had been expecting him to be there for at least half an hour, most likely more as taming one's inner beast isn't always the easiest thing to do. However, less than thirty seconds after Nidhogg and Deniel finished their first conversation, Alyia's eyes burst open and she proclaimed that she had finished.
Immediately Deniel doubted that she truly was, and he showed it by letting out a very low growl, almost like a bellow that vibrated from his throat as his fanged mouth opened up. "Is that so? He pushed himself away from the tree and placed his tight grip around Armageddon's hilt, continuing to give his low growl as he did so. "Prove it to me, then! And I won't be holding back so much this time."

The angel lifted herself up off the ground, her clawed hand scraping at the hard ground. The blood red eyes staring into the soul of her teachers. She was going to prove to him that she had come to an agreement with the Fallen Angel and that the two were going to work together, they would have an agreement. With the speed of the Fallen Angel the girl took off in a blur at Deniel and with being only feet away from him she dropped to the ground and slid along it. The gravel of the ground, scratching along her legs. She was well aware of the reach that Deniel had of his weapon and he knew how to use it well. She slid by his leg and snatched at it, her nails scraping against some part of his leg. When her slide came to a stop the angel spun around so that a single hand was on the ground and her black hair was draped in front of her face. Her red eyes bore up at Deniel before she was gone again. This time she was up in the air and slashed down with her claws at his head. Expecting for him to parry it she launched herself back and landed on the ground, light on her feet. But the collaboration did not last long as the Fallen Angel became tired of the short attacks and without any consent swung out a leg to knock the older man down to the ground, a snarl ripping from her lips. Alyia widened her eyes and she grabbed her head, she needed to stay in control of the Fallen Angel or else she knew that it would be a battle for dominance. |

"A wanderer isn't always lost."
She was not ready, nor had she fully taken control of it. The amount of time it took her was far too short, and that's what gave the distinction to Deniel. A beast must be physically defeated and caged...not reasoned with. Although it was unknown whether or not she reasoned with it, he knew for a fact that she had not defeated it in that amount of time. It would take a person's every last bit of strength to do so. However, just as a test for her, he still made no offensive moves. This time was different, though, as he would no longer simply take her attacks one by one and let her do whatever she pleased. He had never physically fought Alyia before, but in the brief moments earlier he figured out her fighting style, and while there was still plenty more to learn about it, he could tell that it mainly consisted of very swift but powerful attacks, usually from below. She was taking advantage of the height difference, and perhaps hoping that the beast before her was as low one, but far from it. While the Black Devil did lack the exquisite and unstoppable speed of the White Angel, it surely was not slow.
Letting her first attack of scratching his leg go through, it was the second one where Deniel would finally take a bit of action. Instead of parrying it as she expected, all he did was take a very small step back, so slight and subtle it was hardly noticeable, but still just enough to avoid her attack. Just as her claw harmlessly passed in front of his head, he let out a short breath from his nostrils which expelled a small bit of smoke. The next attack was not done without any form of swift movement or mobility placement, but rather exactly from where she was standing. He knew not why she had done it, and her gripping her head could probably explain it, but he did not care. She said she was done? He was about to prove her otherwise. The attack she sent in an attempt to knock her over ultimately failed, as her foot only smashed against his boot harmlessly, with the mighty creature still standing tall and firm on two feet. At long last moving with his sword, the Black Devil muttered one word: "Try..." before yelling the other: "AGAIN!" He raised his sword Armageddon on the word 'try', only with a single hand, and on the word again he brought it down with movements of his entire body, putting his back into it as well as his shoulders in a diagonal shaped slash. For the very first time he did not hold back any bit of his strength and his attack, and it showed. The wind created from the force rippled the trees, and the pressure put on to the attack had partially shattered the ground just behind Alyia. It would have destroyed a whole level of terrain if it had not been focused, but unfortunately for Alyia: it was focused on her.

Blackness. There was nothing that surrounded the mind of the angel. Once again she visualized a material body for herself in her mind. The blue eyes of the girl narrowed. "We had an agreement." Her voice was low and dangerous. Almost like that of a warning. She didn't like how the fallen angel was acting, she didn't like it one bit. The two had made an agreement to work together, the Fallen Angel could move the body but the girl was in charge. She was the tactical one. With what just happened the angel wanted to just glare at the Fallen Angel, it had compromised their agreement. "Agreement shmeement. You were taking to long, we needed to strike hard and fast and leave him incapitated." Hearing the response from the shadow that had appeared in front of her the angel rolled her eyes and tched. "You can't attack an enemy that is older, stronger and more powerful than you like that. It is walking into a death trap. If Deniel had been serious he could had killed us by now." Alyia glared at the Fallen Angel, what made it think that it was better than her. It was now. It didn't know what she knew. It may have been good at attacking but when it came to technical it was no better than a child. "You are a foolish and slow angel who knows nothing about fighting." The angel took in a breath of rage and marched forwards to poked a finger at the flesh that was still on the Fallen Angel's chest. "You may be quicker and possibly stronger but I know how not to get killed in a battle. And if you can't see this we won't be able to work together ever. You reckless attitude is unpardonable and unreliable." "If that is how it is we should battle it out. Who will get this body? Though I don't see why we should I will win in the end." The Fallen Angel seemed to be looking to continue but she was sudden'y cut off by that of a swinging leg making connection with the side of its face. It stumbled back as it glared daggers at the angel. This meant war. |

Alyia had a smirk on her face as she looked down at the fallen angel, sure the fallen angel spoke about war, but did it know anything about tactics? Did it know when or how to attack? The angel watched as the dark body of the fallen angel stood up and faced her. The face and the body language of the being giving off the vibe that Alyia was going to wage a losing war. But was it really losing? Alyia continued to smirk if a person fought with only anger, could they really win? The blonde no longer had any time to think as the fallen angel raced at her, if Alyia had been to fight the fallen angel before working together with it she would have been caught off guard and would have been brought down due to this disadvantage. But Alyia had worked with the fallen angel before and now? Now she could track the every movement of the fallen angel. Though she could not parry them or block them she could dodge. And that is exactly what she did. Left, right, and left again before ducking and throwing herself into a diving roll before getting back up and facing the dark angel. She could not win this fight by just avoiding the hits of the fallen angel, she would get no where with that tactic. Though she could wear out the fallen angel but that would also wear herself out. She needed a different way to do things. Her eyes shifted to the fallen angel who was looking at her with hatred in its eyes an idea came to her head. "You call those attacks? My grandmother could hit harder than you." Taunting. Alyia could see the rage grow within the fallen angel and a large victorious grin appeared on the face of the angel. But it was just the beginning, she was going to have to fight at some point, but if she could get the fallen angel angry enough to attack recklessly she could win this battle piece of cake. |

A low growl came from the fallen angel as Alyia taunted it and it wasn't even seconds later that it lunged at Alyia, its speeds even faster than before. It seemed as if it was using the shadow within her mind to travel faster. Then angel was not prepared for the speed of the fallen angel and the claws of the dark angel nicked at her throat leaving a small trail of red liquid which began to pool and a single drop slid down her neck. The angel's eyes narrowed and she looked at the fallen angel who was now behind her grinning triumphantly. This would not do. Alyia wiped away the blood on her neck before turning to face the fallen angel. "Is that the best that you can do? It is merely a scratch. Here I was thinking that you could actually pose a threat." Alyia taunted again, her lips twitching into a small smirk as she looked at the fallen angel who looked at her with hate. But before another word could be spoken Alyia was gone a single white feather left in her haste before she reappeared behind the fallen angel her scythe aimed at it's neck. The white feathers from the blonde's wings seemed to glow within the darkness illuminating both the fallen angel and the omen angel. The tense moment did not last long as the fallen angel too open its wings pushing Alyia back. The fallen angel took off after Alyia but didn't land a hit on her as the girl took off into the air, flying up into the blackness only the glow of her wings lighting her way. The blonde could hear the flaps of the fallen angel's wings behind her. The girl slowly came to a stop and looked below her at the fallen angel who was now right below her. Taking in a deep breath the angel dove down catching the fallen angel by its waist and pulling it down with her. "What are you doing! You will kill us both!" The fallen angel screamed at Alyia as both of them plummeted down towards the ground. As the ground approached the two of the angels Alyia closed her eyes. If anyone could see into the mind of the angel they would see a large crater and two bodies that lay within it a blonde and a black haired girl, neither of them moving. |

The body of the angel eternally seemed frozen in time, her breathing had stopped and her body relaxed as if all the problems in the world had been lifted off of her shoulders. She lay there a perfect image of death, was this to be her final battle? No What was she doing, she couldn't move. That was right she had sacrificed herself in order to put down the evil that inhabited her head. But was it worth it? That was a good question. Was it worth dying to keep herself from going insane? To live evilly and in fear of herself her entire life or to sacrifice herself and keep the world clean of a devil that would come to cause everyone trouble. That answer was obvious. She would always choose to save the masses instead of herself. Hearing herself think of this the angel laughed, she had come so far from where she had been. Of course dying and being brought back as an angel did help her change immensely but that was not the only factor in it all. She had met great people along the way who had influenced her life in both good ways and bad, teaching her lessons and slowly, annoyingly earning her friendship. With a small smile appearing on the angel's lips she closed her eyes expecting for her last moments to pass. Those of course never came as a sharp slap came to her cheek, leaving a stinging pain. Her eyes snapping open she looked up at the person who had slapped her. Katherine. Really? Even in her afterlife her grandmother would bug her. Sure she loved to woman, she was the only thing left of her family, but she could be annoying as hell. With the striking feeling of pain on her cheek Goddess Goddess Alyia's eyes widened and a smile grew of her lips once again. Pain was the equivalent to life. Feeling pain through her body she slowly got up next to the demon that had intruded into her home. Looking down on it an evil smirk came to her face as she placed her foot on its chest and with one last spurt of magic, crushed it. She was now in full control and it wouldn't be coming back any time soon to stop her. Eyes flashing open and a gasp for breath filled the lungs of the small girl. She had done it. |

With every muscle in her body refusing to want to move the angel could only look up at the sky. Her head was dulled and tired from the mental fight that she had over the body that she was residing in. Finally taking in a deep breath the angel stood up. Her blonde hair was now dirt coated and her shirt with multiple rips. She was going to have to get a new one on her way home. A low hiss escaped through her teeth as she moved to get up from the hole that she had created in the ground. Her muscles protested at every movement as she slowly rose from the ground. Her legs still felt weak under her she wobbled for a moment before being able to gain her balance and stand up fully. The wind blew gently around her body, she felt new, she felt connected to not only herself but also to the nature and other darker parts of the world. She was not connected to her darker side. She felt in control. A victory smile grew on her face and she turned to look at Deniel. She was no long her in her demonic form as it had faded away when she had nearly died earlier. Her blue eyes pierced into Deniel's she could almost the taste the next part of their training now that the Fallen Angel was contained. But Goddess Alyia knew that she had run into her next problem. How was she going to summon the takeover now? With it not contained it was no longer able to come out on its own. The angel would have to learn to bring it out on her own. With this new hurtle in sight the angel became nervous, what would happen in the Fallen angel was able to come back and take control again. With a swift shake of her head the angel knew that that was never going to happen not that if she could help it. Turning back to her mentor. "Now the Fallen Angel has been subsided I don't know if I am able to bring out the form again." |

But as Alyia waited for a response from the person that was supposed to be waiting for her to come back from her mind she wasn't able to find them. Her head spun on a needle as she tried to catch a glimpse of the man whom was to be training her. Was this part of the training? For him to leave and leave her here to figure out what her magic did on her own. Or was she perhaps imagining this and he was here after all. Placing one hand on the other the angel pinched her own skin, it was dull but she could still feel the pain from the pinch. He was gone. A low growl emitted from her lips. He had left again in a critical time of her life. She should know better than to trust for him to be there when she needed him. With her body and muscles protecting at every move the girl slowly managed to stand up. She was swaying back and forth, her balance lost for a couple moments. That was fine. She didn't need him. She would train the rest on her own. The girl moved a hand to the same level as her face and looked at it. Her skin was as pale as ever and yet it was covered in scratches. He had beaten her, knocked her out and then left. Perfect. Beat her rip her and then leave her. Where had she seen this before. Alyia took in a deep breath. This was not a time to reminisce on the past. She was here to move forwards and excel in something that she had devoted her life for. Magic. The blonde closed her eyes and felt the magic pouring through her blood stream. It was more than before. The power of something she didn't know was there. Not knowing what else to do the girl focused it all onto her arm. It began to tingle and she could feel her skin begin to morph into something that it wasn't before. Her eyes opened once more and she looked down at her arm. It was pulsing in a new power and there right in front of her eyes her arm up to her elbow was black in skin. She had done it. With a brilliant smile playing on her lips, a smile that she had only shown one person in her life. |

A black hand swung at a tree, scratching through the bark and into the meat of the tree revealing its tan inside. This power felt so nice. She could barely feel the pain if any pain at all from scratching through the tree. But this was only arm. Alyia smiled. If she could coat her body in this magic and change her entire being into this she would be able to smash through walls and not feel a thing. Aiming at another tree about her height away the Angel pulled back and swung as if throwing a baseball. She could feel the magic leaving her and only seconds later a large gash appeared on the tree. A smile grew on the lips of the blonde and she turned her hand to the other side to look at it much more carefully. It wasn't just skin. There were layers of shell like figures. Each one with lines of that of a sea shell. It was practically an armour. Yet the shells were not far apart enough to get something ledged in them unless someone really tried. The angel let her arm rest and closes her eyes. She pictured the magic being drawn away from her hand and the tingling sensation once again appeared. Alyia opened her eyes and grinned as she saw that her hand was back to normal. So that was how it worked. This time without closing her eyes the girl looked at her hand and watched as it started to glow and her hand disappeared before appearing from the light black and covered in shell. Taking in a deep breath the Angel looked at her other hand and began to channel magic into it as well. It too began to glow. Yet this time as it fadded the Angel saw not shell but a smooth sleak surface. Eyes widened. Why was this one different? Alyia grew worried. This was not how the other fallen Angel looked like. She had pure black skin that cracked some showing a red glow underneath it. What more did she not know about this body? |

The next tree didn't stand a chance as it was sliced through like butter. It hadn't taken the blonde long to figure out what the second had was for. Speed. It made sense. One had was for brute force and the other for speed. They balanced each other out. Her smile grew and the angel looked at both of her hands. This power was amazing and it was her own. It wasn't like Deniel's nor was it like anything else she had seen before. This transformation was purely hers. Clenching and then extending her fingers Alyia could feel the urge of wanting to do something. Placing both of her hands together she curled her fingers in and closed her eyes. Blonde hair flew around her face as magic gathered between her hands. Blue eyes flew open and a large blast of black flew from her hands and into several trees blasting a hole through them. Amazing. Her eyes sparkled and the angel looked own at her hands. What else could she do? Allowing for the magic in her hands to fade the black that coated her hands fell off in flakes and the angel wondered where she would be able to channel her new magic next. Thinking about it the girl opened her wings and closed her eyes, the tingle began, yet that was not the only thing. Pain spread through her body. Her teeth clenched and when she felt the change stop the angel looked behind her and saw something that she didn't know what to think of. Instead of black wings like she had gained the first time, leather wings stood prominent on her back. Bad luck. That was what it was. Her fallen angel was not a balance, it was an essence of pure bad luck. She knew that she would look close enough to that of a demon, that was her fallen form. Her wings flexed and the angel smiled before flapping one and she was gone. Merely a blur, a shadow of where she had been. Her wings were for attacking, not floating or drifting or gliding. Attacking and with speed |

The air stung her cheeks as the blonde zipped through the sky. It was amazing. She knew that this word was being over used but it was the best word to describe what she was doing and what she was going through. A laugh escaped her lips and the angel wrapped her lips around her and corkscrewed through the air. Her blonde and silver hair twirling around her like a top. She could get used to this, but this was not all for fun. Alyia knew that she would need to do more things. Things other than this. Looking back at the ground the angel opened her wings and began her decent. An arrow through the air is what she looked like and at the last moment the angel pulled up and landed on the ground. Woah. She was breathless. Fun. Alyia hadn't had this much since forever. Allowing for the magic to drain from her wings the angel then focused on drawing her magic else where. But this time it was not to her leg or any place n her body that already existed but to a whole new place. Magic gathered and curled and slowly a tail began to form. the light surrounding it shattered and the angel looked at what was not apart of her A tail it was as long as the was tall. She knew from experience that the tail now not only help in battle but also in flight allowing for her to be more agile. Swinging it around her the angel slammed it into a tree, a frown appeared for a moment. It didn't seem to do anything. But her eyes widened as she saw the tree crack. but it was not just this tree it was also about three tree behind it as well. Her eyes narrowed and the girl smirked. This was one amazing magic that had inhabited her and now she was able to have full control over it. But instead allowing for her tail to stay she had it fade into black sparkles of magic. There was more to find out about, but she was beginning to feel tired on magical power. Calling upon one body part after the other had drawn a lot of magic power. |

Blonde cobwebs scattered the ground around her head. Silver light reflected off of them. She had been laying here for only a little while looking up through the curtain of the trees and up at the blue sky that lay just beyond it. It was amazing. There was still no better word to describe it. Closing her eyes she took in a deep breath of air. Her lungs expanded and a soft smile grew on her lips. There was so much more now that she didn't understand. There was so much more now that she could explore and reach for. New heights and destinations that she knew were just out of her reach. Just one more push and she knew that she would be able to reach it. Allowing for her crystal eyes to open back up at the sky, her eyes reflecting the clouds that drifted by. She was still a child. Yet she had grown up so fast. A guild master and an ace. Everything was moving so fast for herself. She was accelerating at such a fast pace that she didn't know what to do other than try to keep up and advance, learn. Her hand lifted up to eye level and the girl looked at it, such a magic traveled through her veins now. A magic that was advancing at a pace that she didn't know how to keep up with. With a smile. She knew that she would catch up to its pace and control it. It wasn't a beast now it was just magic that she held that she had to learn to harness and exploit. Her other hand raised to that of the first one and the angel looked at them. She could feel the magic running through them. A sign that they were now different that she now had more control than she had before. A soft smile started to grow. It was wonderful. It was a different word, but it didn't work as well. Turning her hands over the angel knew that she would have to wait a few minutes more before she would be able to use more of her magic and test things out. |

Few minutes her ass. Alyia had closed her eyes one moment and the next time that she had opened them again and looked up through the hole that she had made in the canopy of leaves, blue sky and clouds were not what reflected back against her eyes. There in the glistening shimmer of her eyes was stars. Thousands of them. Sparkling and flickering in and out of existence. The Angel closed her eyes again and groaned. With great power came the need to take a nap. Her body ached as she began to sit up. A hand moving to rub the tiredness out of her eyes so that she would be able to get back to work. She could feel that her magic had been replenished and she knew that she was ready to continue in her training. A yawn plying her lips apart the Angel moved to stand up. She needed to focus on making her transformations faster. She began with her arms. Closing her eyes and feeling the tingle in her arms. Eyes opened and the Angel looked down both limbs had changed. But she needed to be faster. Allwoing for the magic to fade completely and her arms turn back to normal the Angel took in a deep breath and focused the magic on her arms. The tingle was there and her arms turned into their fallen Angel form. It was much faster this time. But just not fast enough. The magic faded once again and the girl took a deep breath before eyes flashing open and her arms flashed in a dark glow and morphed into the other form. Faster. It was faster. A grin grew on her lips and eyes sparkled. She could now call it forth fast. Catching up. She was catching up to this magic. Letting her hands fall to get sides the Angel began to focus her magic on her body as a whole. She was going to take this change slowly. But feeling her body beginning to tingle the Angel felt something off and she called her magic off. There was one part of her body that she needed to change first. Her legs. The blonde looked down at them and glared. She was so short maybe this form would make her taller. Her eyes closed and the Angel focused her magic on her legs. The tingle appeared once again spreading along her skin. The dark glow appeared and engulfed her legs. |

They were her size, the angel hadn't looked like she had grown at all. A huff puffed from her lips and the angel glared down at her legs. Her legs were a pale grey and had tall boots that reached up to her mid-thighs. She could feel muscle ripple as she moved. They were powerful no matter had skimpily they were dressed. Crouching down the angel pushed off, she was through the trees, with a small spin. Wanting to make the best of this experience the angel flashed open her leather wings. Two takeovers at once the angel smiled and flapped her wings open, she was going to go for another fly. She didn't last long in the air before she had to come back down. Much of the magic that she had regained was gone once again. She scowled down at her body. It was powerful, but it was also magically inadequate. She wanted to see her full transformation. But that would have to wait once again. Maybe she would be able to take another nap. A yawn slipped from her lips and the angel moved to fade the takeover. But a thought came to her head. Fading the transformation of her wing she launched one leg to the side and swung out the other one in a kick. The tree that she had been aiming at not only sliced in half, but also so did several trees behind it. A grin grew on the lips of the angel and she walked over to the tree, running her hand along it. There was not a splinter. Perfect cut. With that the angel allowed the magic in her legs fade and she yawned, her arms stretching above her head. Making her shirt rise up past her belly button. Nap time. The angel moved and lay back to where she had blasted a hole through the trees above her. She would be able to see her full form better in the light anyways. Eyes fluttered shut and the angel slipped into slumber. The wind played with her hair and a soft smile slid onto her lips. |
