i am a lion and i want to be free
lion
do you see a lion when you look inside of me?
And the Blood Moon rose once again. It was a peculiar phenomena, really. A scarlet moon rose above the mountains, between the clouds, attracting the sight of the curious and the young, causing millions of questions regarding this rare, yet innocent phenomena. Or, innocent until now. There, somewhere between the imperious mountains of Fiore, hidden from the sight of those who wished the death of the leaders, was the temple of the Blood Moon, hidden between the trees, standing tall and majestic in the chilling night. Made by the finest Midi Architects, the temple had everything the Alliance needed; a temple that radiated beauty, and yet a sinister, dreadful feeling. A place where only the leaders and their most loyal could meet, away from the curious sight of the newer members in their guilds, or the potential rats that had somehow entered either of the three lead dark guilds, in order to gather information from inside and sell it to all the petty, legal organizations, that would rip each other apart, if that meant that they could get information about the dark guilds, information that could lead to the extermination of said guilds. The temple of the Blood Moon was perfection. Both practical and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, one could easily grow to adore the place.
And that was precisely the feeling that rules Janneline's heart as she stared at the majestic, oriental building. Wind brushing the scarlet robes that adorned her perfect body, making her shiver slightly, the Savage Skull Guild master ran a hand through her golden locks absentmindedly, electric eyes focused on the building before her, not shifting from it for a second. She didn't need to be alert, anyways. Nobody knew of the existence of the temple, of its location, of the very existence of the Blood Moon Alliance. They were safe, for now, while ignorance reigned in the world, and the foolish believed the three most powerful Dark Guilds in Fiore had not formed an alliance. What a ridiculous thought. However, as soon as the first surprise attack, the most painful one, the hardest to recover from, was landed, every single legal mage in Fiore would want the head of the three masterminds behind the Alliance. Everyone would want to see the Alliance burning to the ground.
Soft steps, Janna moved forward, towards the massive door that was the entrance to the temple. Pushing the light door with her pale hands, blue eyes inspecting the interior curiously as she proceeded to walk inside the hall, Janneline felt her breath catch for a second, as the oriental beauty of the temple mesmerized her, putting her in a state similar to the state of charm. Shaking her head in an attempt to focus, to remember the task at hand and stop staring at the majestic interior of the building, decorated in scarlet, to represent the color of the Blood Moon Alliance, to represent the color of the Blood Moon, of the blood that will be spilled for the moon, and golden, detailed, precious statues adorning the entire place. Enormous pillars holding the entire construction on its feet, marble floors, candles giving light to the entire building, and obviously, the enormous opening in the ceiling, which left the blood moon perfectly visible, shining right above the circular table, where the Leaders and their second in command were supposed to meet. Heading towards one of the seats, elegance and beauty radiating from her, Janneline sat down on her chair calmly, lips pursued. Soon the others would arrive, gracing her with their presence. Or they were supposed to, at least. If not, the Alliance would be broken before it was even made. As a Guild Master, Janneline had gained tons of Tolerance towards determined attitudes or situations. Yet she had lost tolerance towards many things as well. And among those things was the breaking of promises. In times like this, when dark guilds were pretty much on their knees from the lack of members, Guild Masters could not betray eachother. Probably, sometime in the future, once the situation becomes more stable, more than one knife would be stabbed in the back of each of the Guild masters, as much as Janna hoped that at the very least the Tartarus Guildmaster avoided doing that. But now that the situation was so unstable, an alliance was the most convenient thing for all three guildmasters, rather than rivalry or hate. Despite the presence of the alliance, the Guildmasters could continue hating eachother, if their hearts held this feeling towards the others, but it prevented them from killing one another, to the very least. And, as hard as it was to believe, that was needed. Who knew what twisted thoughts each of the Guildmasters had.
After all, we're all mad here. This isn't a light alliance we're talking about. Each guild master may very well desire the death of the other one, and that was the usual thing here.
