An Undramatic Entrance

Visa's entry into Fairy Tail wasn't dramatic or mysterious. No, the girl simply approached the large tree and walked into the first floor. Her long blond hair dragged behind her slightly as she walked. The girl wore a white billowy sundress that went down beyond her knees. Around her neck was a thin gold chain that had a two ornate keys- one gold and one silver. Her light blue eyes would shift about as she too kin the elven and certainly fairy like aspect of the interior of the tree building. Silently, she walked through the tavern and tried to avoid bumping into the rowdy crowd that was inside there drinking and having fun. Visa didn't want to interrupt anyone.

Biting down on her lower lip, she took in a deep breath and held it while counting to ten. Then, building up courage, Visa moved to approach someone and gently call out. ”Excuse me... er... I want to join.. Fa... Fairy Tail,” she mumbled softly. Her voice was barely a whisper and her eyes shifted to the side. Visa was sure the person probably couldn't even hear her properly due to her low whispering.

Regardless of if the mage Visa approached had heard her or not there was one man in the guild of Fairy Tail who's eyes were simply too keen to ever miss the appearance of an unfamiliar face. This was a man who was all knowing, all wise, all seeing, and somehow he still didn't see the new member. This man now came falling from the ceiling landing on his feet on one of the guild's tables near Visa. He was Simon the phoenix and for some reason he had no shirt. The guild master stomped on the tabletop "Who here stole my shirt!?!"

Why did someone with as much access to money as a mage's guild master only have one shirt? Simply because he really liked the one.

Visa's heart almost leaped out of her chest when the young guild master suddenly fell from the ceiling of the tavern. The girl would fall over from the surprise. She landed on her rear- or rather, landing on her hair. So, at least her dress was still clean. Visa glanced up as the man stomped on the table. Her eyes grew wide as he shouted about his shirt. She didn't know what to do! Who was he? Why was he shouting on a table about a shirt?!

Still... he needed help right?

The girl would gulp as she clutched her chest anxiously. Slowly she stood. Her eyes would shift to stare at the shirtless boy as she slowly approached him. Gulping, Visa would stand awkwardly for several long uncomfortable seconds as she stared at him before speaking in a shaking voice. Still, her voice was so faint he might not even hear it as she mumbled.

”Ah...I... ca...can help you... look for... it... yoh... you're shirt.”

Simon spun on his heels as he heard a voice he had not heard before. He hopped off the table landing right in front of Visa and looked her dead in the eyes. "Do I know you?" A spark crossed the phoenix's brain Oh no shes a.... dangit maybe if I distract her she won't notice! Simon quickly forgot about his absence of shirt and jumped backwards back onto the table "Oh I get it! You must be here to join the guild!" He smacked his fist into the palm of his hand "Can't say I blame you! Mages of Fairy Tail tend to be kinda famous. We also get to have all kinds of fun. All the media attention is a bit overwhelming though. One time Sorcerer Magazine tried to get me to do some weird photo shoot thing, god they'd have a field day if they could see me right now."

Simon again spun on his heels to look out at the guild "Speaking of which! Somebody better find my shirt before I finish getting this newbie inducted or there will be trouble!" As if he was part-merry-go-round Simon spun around again to face Visa again "So thats it right?! You wanna join Fairy Tail?"

When the black haired boy jumped right in front of her, Visa's face grew a bright red. She had never been this close to a boy before... However, then something happened. As her eyes shifted to avoid him looking into them, she noticed something odd about him. The girl couldn't quite place it... But she didn't feel uneasy around him anymore. He felt familiar for some reason. Before she could quite place it, he jumped back on the table. With her face still bright red, the girl stared at him as he continued to talk.

She'd nod softly as he spoke about her being there to join the guild. Yes, that was what she was there for. Her nodding would stop as he began to talk about media attention. What did he mean..? The sheltered girl's brows pursed quizzically as she tried to figure out what he meant. The guild was famous? She had been directed here when she asked someone about the closest gathering of Mages. The girl gulped silently. Did she really want to get involved in a group with so much exposure and attention cast on them?

Before she could think it over, Simon would look at her again and ask if she wanted to join the guild. He.. looked really excited. Glancing to the side, Visa nodded as she whispered.

”Yes.”

Simon grinned ear to ear "Now that's an answer I like to hear! Alright here we go! I feel like making it flashy today!" Apparently unable to make up his mind Simon jumped off the table again landing with his right foot forward. Visible on his sandal-clad foot his tattoo began to glow a bright orange light "Welcome to Fairy Tail!" With a snap of his fingers a bright light shined from over Visa's heart as the guild crest materialized on her. The light only lasted for a minute before vanishing leaving behind a soft pastel orange tattoo. But now as the light cleared there was no visible crest on Visa. Simon blinked a couple times "Oh well uh that's inconvenient. I hate it when that happens."

Lacking a concept of personal space Simon poked Visa's dress where it covered up the tattoo "The crest just kind of appears wherever the wearer wants it to be. So why did you want it on a spot covered by your clothes?" The guild master inspected Visa's chest "I mean you don't intend to walk around town topless do you? What kind of person just goes around with their torso bare all day?" Meanwhile in the kitchen the pot called the kettle black.

Oh he was smiling so much... Visa looked down as he smiled, unsure if she could take it. He looked so happy go lucky. The older boy was... certainly excited. Visa gulped as her hands pulled on her skirt anxiously. She was still having second thoughts about joining the guild, but could she really deny him after hearing how excited her sounded? When he jumped off the table, Visa was somewhat prepared this time. She would glance down as his foot's tattoo began to glow brightly.

When he said the words 'welcome to fairy tail', Visa could feel her heart beating excitedly. She felt a warm fuzzy feeling at the idea of being part of a group. The girl knew she was truly grateful deep in her heart... Which is probably why the tattoo would appear there as the glowing suddenly appeared from beneath her dress. She could only barely see it before it vanished. When Simon blinked with some confusion, Visa glanced up at him, tilting her head as she mumbled softly. “Eh...?”

Before she could do much more, Simon would reach out to poke her in the chest. If her face was pink from embarrassment before, now it was a bright burning red. She was so distraught by suddenly being poked that she didn't even notice what Simon actually was. As he began to ask her questions- which quickly devolved to her walking around half naked, Visa's eyes began to water. She didn't know what was going on at all. She'd manage to mumble out:

“I... I don't know...”

And now she was crying. Simon took a step back taking his finger off her. Quickly becoming awkward and unsure of what to do "Hey uh no crying! Heero would kill me if I made ANOTHER new person cry day one!" He clapped his hands together apologetically and bowed his head "Come on please calm down. I'm sorry okay! I didn't mean it! It will be fine! You don't need your guild crest visible 24/7."

When he took his finger off her and stepped back, Visa bit down on her lower lip. Why was he backing away? Had she answered wrong. The girl's shoulders trembled as he told her to not cry. She'd nod softly before reaching up to try and clean her face with the edges of the long frills on her shoulders. When Simon clapped his hands together and bowed his head, Visa blinked as she shook her head and spoke softly while still cleaning her face.

“No.. please don't bow... I'm sorry.”

Simon rubbed the back of his neck and sighed "Relax alright? Lets uh move on or something." His eyes flicked to the keys around her neck but he quickly looked back at her face. It occurred to him unless she told him what her magic was it was only a matter of time before he accidentally revealed he already knew and if that happened there'd be all kinds of questions to answer. Trying to be reassuring he put his hands on her shoulders "So how about you show me your magic then? This is a mage guild after all. I need to know what you can do."

When he told her to relax, Visa nodded softly and took in a deep breath. She then closed her eyes as she silently counted to ten. After counting, the girl released the breath. Then, she did all over again. He wanted her to be calm... She had to calm down. The breathing seemed to work as after a moment, her shoulders seemed to stop shaking. She didn't even notice his eyes looking at her keys. When he asked about her magic, she nodded softly before reaching up to un-clip the silver key from her chain. Holding the key out, she spoke softly.

“Gate of Innocence: The Little Sister.”

With that, the gate would open and a small girl who was even tinier than Visa would appear. The small girl jumped to the ground and looked up between the two with neutral and deadpan eyes. Visa would approach her and crouch down to pet her head while smiling softly. Looking back at Simon, she nodded softly. “This is... er... Little Sister... I... ah... summon spirits.”

Simon waved in greeting to Little Red Creepy Stare Hood. Made slightly uncomfortable by the intense stare he nodded and said "Oh alright. Cool!" He wasn't sure what to do now until a package came flying through the air hitting him over the head "Eh? What the heck! Lousy mail man can't even bother to give me a warning." He caught the box before it could drop to the ground and opened it quickly with his hands. His eyes darted inside and examined the contents. He looked back at Visa and shoved the box under his arm, "Say, wanna go somewhere exciting?"

As Simon spoke, his curiosity seemingly stated by the random show of magic, Visa would pat Little Sister on the head silently before she would slowly vanish into her own gate and leave. After all, the girl was probably busy in the Spirit World, even on the days she could be summoned. Visa turned to look as Simon seemed to have gotten a package. She waited patiently while he went through the box. When he looked at her and asked if she wanted to go somewhere exciting, Visa wasn't sure how to answer... It wouldn't be good to say no considering how new she was... right? She'd nod softly.

“I do.”

Grinning like a devil he grabbed her hand with his free arm and ran out of the guild hall dragging her along after him. He would ignore any protest from her dragging all the way to the train station and unto a train "We're going to the spooky forest!"
