Personality: (What is their personality like, at least 500 words, Outside battle he is always nice, he helps people, cheers them up, and always looks after them, but when he's alone, he's always alone, mourning the loss of his dear ones since his home town got destroyed, and when he's not helping, or grieving for his lost ones, he is training, training to become better and stronger, to become stronger than Natsu and Erza so he's able to protect and defeat anyone. When someone asks him for advice, he's quite shy since he doesnt have quite much expierence himself with magic. Most of the time when he isn't doing one of these three things he's looking for or either doing a job. He also tries to impress Erza, luckily most of the time, he's smiling, hanging at the bar, drinking a little with other members, and sometimes looking at the request board if to see if he finds an intersting job, as stated already, he is a nice, sweat, caring and loveable person, but he is a bit ashamed of his lack in magic skill, so whenever he trains, he always does it somewhere where no one or something can find, hear or see them, he hates when people make fun of him he can't take like for example 'that kid can't fight' he can get angry and fight even though he hates useless fights, he tries to keep calm and often he succseeds in this, other than this he's just a loveable, sweat person, always ready to help

However, while in combat, it's like he has a complete different personality all of a sudden, he acts like a good leader and knows when to retreat and when to stop, when his friends are badly hurt or in danger he pulls everything out of the closet so to say, to protect them, often forgetting to protect himself, he does this since when he came out of the shelter and saw the destruction that was done by a dark guild and saw his dead family, he swore that he would take revenge and wipe-out every single dark guild and wipe-out every evil that was in the world, he had heard a lot of stories about fairy tail so that's why he ended up there, whenever he fights a strong opponent of a dark guild or a big giant monster, he always waits with attacking to see what his enemies are capable of doing, he finds it reckless to immediatly jump into battle, so he always avoids and hits finding their weak spots, if he can't find any he calls in the help of his friends to help him and together they always try to take down the hard enemy whetever be it a long lost friend or someone who turned evil after being good, whenever he defeats an evil guy but not kill him of course, he always says "I hope you learned your lesson... otherwise you'll have another taste of my sword!" to specify he isn't afraid to take them on again

Likes:
1. Cake, he likes cakes because it's sweet, chocolate cakes are his favorite
2. Training, he always looks to improve so he trains whenever he can
3. Help other people, when people are in distress he likes to help them no matter how difficult the job
4. Erza, Thanator is secretly in love with Erza Scarlet but he doesn't dare to tell anyone

Dislikes:
1.peoplewith dark intentions, people with dark intentions destroyed his home town and killed everyone he knew
2.People who say magic is not real, magic is what keeps them from destruction
3, fights that go over nothing, like Erza, Thanator doesn't really like useless fights, injury will effect your performance on the next job

Motivations:
1. Helping other people out, whetever it is to get a cat out a tree, or slay a giant montser, he's always happy to lend a hand
2. Clearing out all evil. his main reason of being a mage is to clear the world of all evil
3. Revenge, is hometown was destroyed and he swore he would took revenge on the guild who did it

Fears:
1, Death, he's scared of death because he'll lose everyone and everything he ever gained,
2, Huge spiders, Big giant monsters? No problem! A dark cave? No problem! A little spider? No problem! A big hairy spider staring into your soul with his 8 eyes creeps him out though
3. Losing anyone who is dear to him, he was always a quiet kid, so he is always scared to lose his friends when he finally made some

General Appearance
Overall, he has a confident look, but also at the same time a sad look, he always watches how Erza fights off monsters and always blushes when she's close to him but whenever he has his hometown mentioned and is reminded of everything he saw that day, he can get angry and walk away... But above all that, he is great with other guild members and is always to lend a hand to help

Appearance: he wears some armor and over that noble clothes a red shirt with a blue jacket, however he prefers to have the armor on top most of the time but his clothes get in the way most of the time under it so he wears his armor under, he also has black shoes and normal blue loose pants with no pockets, he is quite musclelar and also quite strong and very good at wielding swords and he always carries a special sword crafted by his father
