Clouded by the dusk black cloak, a youthful figure stood in the midst of the empty arena. It was closed for the most part, the sun was still rising and shone just enough light overhead for a spar, much too early for anyone to arrive here, but he had sent the woman he once did a job with an invite to come spar. Not out of ego or pride, but he saw them have some potential, and for the most part, Raiza wanted to have fun..er well if you considered potentially hurting people... 'fun', and hence why for this match he considered needing to do something other than the typical hack and slash, but rather prior to the match he made sure his blade had been fitted to be drawn in reverse of the typical fashion. This meant drawing the blade would draw it with the blunt side out, allowing him to quick draw if need be to a none harmful state.

The robe he wore concealed his padded leather clothing for the most part as well as the shield strapped to his back, which actually gave him some protection from a strike from behind, unless he actually would choose to use it otherwise in a true shield fashion, but then again to him, he didn't even know how or what Bell's strengths were, in fact it was highly thought for that if she didn't have the physical power, she must have the magical. 'lets just hope I dont need to transform... that could get brutal' he thought to himself, kind of eager to see how that'd even play out if he did. It made him insane, not able to hold back in his attacks, but he knew if he was even pushed to that limit, then Bell had already won.

Bellaria was quite nervous. Why had her previous partner want to battle? Had she done something wrong, or maybe she was being punished. Yea, that made sense, she hadn't completed her last job to her fullest potential so she was now being punished for her inability. Bell was scared, as she had never used her magic to harm other people, only using it to vanquish Tranzbose and help other people on jobs.

Maybe this would be good practice, but what she was really afraid of would be harming someone beyond help. She knew she had the potential if she tried hard enough, but was she even currently strong enough? To be honest, she had no idea if her magic would be effective against other humans, as Tranzbose were in a much different league than humans. Although, for some reason the excitement of battle drove her forward, she knew it wasn't a good feeling, but it kept her going. Adrenaline was coursing through her veins, although she had no idea why.

She stepped out into the arena and smiled shyly at her previous dark haired companion. Holding her gem, she stepped proudly towards him and said,

"Nova, Bellaria, Entfess!" And she began transforming.

This time, as she was held in the air as candy swirled around her and her outfit changed inside the candy wrapper shell, she was excited for battle. The promise of being victorious was like a drug for her. Could she prove her worth to him by defeating him in battle? Or would it make him feel bad, it was a conflicting thought.

But now, as she was wanting ready for battle, she knew she'd try to spar to her hardest abilities.

"Are you ready?" She asked, her voice filled with fake courage, what if she got killed in battle?

Thinking to himself as he smiled, watching his old partner change form, a smile on his face as he tossed his robe to the side, and unstrapped his shield a tight tucked fit on his left hand. "Depends, are you ready? I saw potential and I wanted to show you, you had it" he nodded in her direction. Had he truly wanted to crush her, he'd transform right now, it was a thought... but then again why should he? maybe after first blood was drawn, if they managed to hurt him first, then he'd transform, but then again it was far too risky to even do such a thing.

Drawing his blade out he smiled, might as well psyche the enemy out. Extending his blade outwards he smiled, a single inhale of breath as his blade was turned clockwise. "Initiate Game Start", had the woman before him been any stronger than he was, or at least even adept in skill(C or higher), he would be sure they'd tell nothing at all changed. It was his way of trying to psyche the girl out that maybe his weapon would be magical in some way, even though it was not at all. Truly he had no magic, and that'd be his reason for a potential loss, but it would be his skill with the weapons that perhaps let him get beyond this, allowing him to ascend to a further reach of power. Just at least he hoped it'd be enough.

Withdrawing his extended blade, raising his shield up and carefully examining his new opponent, he had to wait for them to make the first move no doubt. If he didn't then he' play into their initiative, but if he let them move he'd have the counter initiative. Its like playing tic-tac-toe. He knew his opponent had magic, and he didn't so they had the obvious first move, it'd be better to let them go center like he knew they would.

Bellaria was weary, she had no knowledge about her partner's magic, so how should she have reacted? There was no way she was going in close enough for melee attacks, and for all she knew, this guy could have like instant killing magic. Although, she kind of doubted the guy would kill her. Maybe it was some sort of instinct, or maybe her emotional radar used to detect Tranzbose, but she felt no killing intent so far, so she might be safe for now.

She still wouldn't approach him though, as she wasn't aware of the dagger's abilities, nor the caster's magical power. At least Bell would maybe have the advantage  if she attacked from a range. What would a good ranged weapon be? Bellaria was never a fan of bows and arrows, the only other ranged weapon she could think of that instant was a gun. Quickly, Bellaria grabbed her pendant and thought of a gun materializing while pulling it out from her gem. She knew how to use it for some reason, so maybe it was a side effect of her magic.

What if the gun killed him? Gun crimes were rampant in Nova, and she learned that a head shot killed people instantly, so she was scared. But if her magic was weak, did that mean the bullets were weak too? She really hoped so, as killing someone would damage her mental health gravely.

"Sorry about this..." Her voice trailed off, as if she had something else to say.

Her hands were shaking as she held the gun, but she willed herself calm and quickly aimed before firing three shots at her partner with his knife held out. Hopefully he didn't have some sort of portal to open with that blade from which monsters would come out and attack her, although, that was probably her imagination getting the better of her.

After firing the shots, she allowed her hands to start shaking again.

Stats:

A cracked smile on his face as he watched the woman before him summon up some form of weapon. Interesting, so now it was going to be just a weapon on weapon duel, well at least for now it was going to be. Though as three bullets were fired(you never stated where aimed btw), and since he easily saw they were headed for his chest, he did nothing to stop them, all three were stopped by his armor, well for the most part. First blood was drawn at least a little, the armor cracked upon the first shot, began to fall apart in the small grouping, and the third did a nice hit, as the third bullet hit Raiza directly

He did admit, it was a nice grouping, even he noticed Bell's hands were shaking, but the magic bullet pierced his skin, even if it was slowed by his armor, a wide grin on his face as he reached towards the wound with his shield hand, having that hand free since the shield was strapped to that arm, he dug a bit at his skin,  the wound was extremly light, not even breaking further than the first few layers of skin, barely drawing blood, but his nails dug into it deeper, just barely at least, pulling his hand back, his index and middle finger was covered in blood.

"Oi, I'm sorry too. I promise I wont kill you, but I will be ruthless, not by choice" he spoke, before placing his fingers upon his tongue, letting the crimson liquid leak onto his tongue, an oozing feeling down his throat before his eyes began to fill completely black, the black screla consumed his pure red iris and pupil, once fiilled it would shine a pure white color, forcing the black out and enveloping his face as patches of black appeared across his body and his hair darkened, growing a bit longer and spiked. Black wings began to form upon his body as by now his entire form was pitch black. The inside of his mouth appeared a dark white, as he now seemed to be nothing but a shadowed demon.

A loud roar like sound, his mental intent was just to 'attack' not kill. As he was forced into an insane mental state while in this form, but nothing forced him to be stupid while in the form, Insane but not stupid. It meant he was ruthless yet still smart enough to know what to do, and this meant he yet still help no killing intent as he hunched down, a massive beat of his wings took him forward using his strength to jump quickly forward and towards Bell, turning his blade around when he got near so when he extended his arm out trying to swing at her, the blunt side would impact them rather than the sharp side. He did this all while holding his shield to the side.

Spoiler:

Bellaria winced when the bullets hit, but was a bit confused at what happened next. His partner had eaten some of his blood? Maybe it had some sort of magical property she never knew about. She was pondering this but was suddenly assaulted by an enormous amount of negative energy. A Tranzbose? At this time? No, she hadn't felt this much energy since she visited the area where.... No, it never made sense. Was her partner transforming into a Tranzbose? It couldn't be, as she didn't seem to be in a barrier. In order to reassure this, she quickly looked around, but saw no signs of a barrier or familiars. What was this form?

When she looked back, her partner was a few inches in front of her, so she reacted with instict, trying to bat away her opponent with her gun. She wasn't strong enough, so the blade cut through her side and the gun went flying to the right, being de-summoned and shattered into shards of hard candy. She winced and was knocked back, the back of her dress being torn and smeared with dirt. She coughed slightly and regained her balance, breathing heavily to regain her lost breath.

The sheer amount of evil energy in the air was making her gem react strangely, something she'd never seen before, like it was calling out to her. She didn't know what would happen, but that dark energy needed to go, she could save him from being possessed by a Tranzbose, although she doubted they could even do so. She let her soul mix with whatever was being given off by her Nova Gem.

She could feel herself being levitated again, like what would happen during her transformation.... But this was different, as a quite large magic circle began spinning beneath her.

She screamed out as it happened, this was terrifying, was she turning into a demon too? Suddenly, a huge blast of pink energy and candy shot up from the circle, encasing her in the ray. She expected to be vaporized, but instead, she felt herself chaning into a much larger form.

Suddenly, a large blast of candy was expelled from her, sending lollipops, chocolate and other small pieces of confection away from her as she soared towards the sky in her new found pink dragon form.

The gem was telling her what to do, and it was telling her to concentrate a large amount of energy in her mouth. She willed it to happen, and a sphere of pink energy mixed with candy formed around her fanged mouth.

She spewed it in the direction of the black winged demon, and a large beam of pink of Novian Energy and candy was hurdled foward towards him, leaving a pink sugar glaze along with large lollipops and candies sticking out from said glaze wherever the beam hit the ground.

Stats:

An echo'd painful scream as the youthful demon sent Bellaria flying with a rather painful smash towards the ground, though staying in flight, Raiza readied himself as he watched the woman began to burst into candy and light, not wanting to wait...no his insanity told him to charge and as he did he'd give a massive beat of his black demon scaled wings to ascend him higher and further away, simply getting ready for a nose dive strike, at least until he saw the dragonic form begin to suddenly erupt from the woman. Odd, that was highly unexpected, but even so, Raiza charged forward anyways, this time taking gravity with him while his shield was kept up.

Though the biggest turn around he ever saw so far was the sudden dragonic like roar that sent a candy beam his way, impacting his shield, tearing it from his hand as he tried his best to evade the hit. The shield would be sent flying back, hitting the ground with a rather hard thud. His left hand would be torn at as well by the candy beam, though it hit him hard, one would realize healing was a huge benefit, and began to restore the lost skin nearly right away as the candy began to fall from the impacted area. Though even when he was hit, that didn't slow him down, Raiza had built up speed nose diving the figure, and would keep speed up. His much smaller stature meant he wasn't going to be physically weighing anything to try and counter strike, so rather he had to initiative at this point, and aimed with the sharp side of his blade to tear at the Dragon's left wing, where he aimed to try and cause flight to be harder to maintain, all the while trying to drain them of their chances to win without causing any major injuries.

His white eye piercing glaze regardless if his strike hit or not, would also extend his clawed left hand, trying to use the razor sharp demonic claws to run along to strike a second time, this time using his demonic claws to tear into the flesh more. Still aiming at the wing, but running along a main wing bone to try and clip it, though to finish up his combo, regardless if the two attempted strikes hit the dragon or not, at the very end the attack, when he would be behind the dragon, a 180degree turn mid air as he was still flying, he would quickly and rapidly extend his right hand out, releasing his blade, sending it flying towards the dragon's right wing shoulder, trying to impale it and cause flight to be further hindered. Thankfully with size, Raiza didn't have to worry about hitting anything vital.

Bellaria bellowed in her new form as the guy was soaring through the air solely with the purpose of cutting off her wing, the first strike was unexpected for her, as she had prepared to defeat him with that attack. Although know, she was flapping her wings a lot harder to stay afloat. She could hardly see the guy, as her eyes where at the front of her body, thus making it hard to see without craning her neck.

Apparently he was trying to get in another attack, although she knew if it hit, she'd have a lot more difficulty flying. She never even knew how long the dragon thing lasted, so she decided she'd stay closer to the ground in case it wore off and she was sent plummeting towards the dirt. She was seriously curious as to how long she could hold this form, maybe it was a bad idea, seeing as this was much stronger than any of her other spells, so wasn't this technically putting too much strain on her gem? If so, what would happen if it cracked?

Her mind was sent reeling with adrenaline to come up with a counter. What could she use to bat away the opponent that was long and large? She wagged her tail in thought, she couldn't seem to access any of her other magic, so what was she to do? The idea came to her just as the flying sword was about to strike, she whipped her tail towards the guy by her wing and swung her claw out in panic at the thing that was attacking her. Maybe it was the damage she was taking, or maybe the magical energy she was using the hold the form, howver, all she knew was that her gem was under massive strain right now, and she wouldn't be able to hold her form much longer.

Stats:

Success his hits had landed, all except the very last which was clawed away by the large dragon. Shouldn't have done that to be honest. Why in all hell would a swordsmen throw his blade. Truth be told, Raiza was just insane in this form and his demonic aura seemed to spike earlier, now it began to reduce in size of the aura indicating it was being to end itself. Raiza knew exactly how long the form lasted, and knew so far he woul only have about the remaining time to do as much to ensure a win before he was left with fighting a dragon while being helpless

Whoops, one shouldn't think too much in a fight and it was apparent as Raiza was sent hurling away across the arena and smacking into the arena wall from the large blunt strike of the dragon's tail, of course being hurled away he'd of not been there to take the damage from any of the claw swipes he watched happen as he winced in pain before falling from the arena wall, which left a nasty indent in the wall and a mild crack running from the point of impact

The impact alone from the massive tail caused Raiza much pain, and when he hit the wall, even more pain ensued. Such a powerful strike was obviously going to happen if they were a massive beast. Though the only thing vaguely keeping Raiza alive let alone functioning was his enourmous healing factor that already mended the broken bone, and torn flesh as he dropped down to the ground staring at Bell from the distance, his body throbbed before he let out a blood curdling scream in the woman's direction before taking a massive beat of his wings and beginning to run in a large stride eventually reaching half way towards Bell before jumping up and taking flight, trying to use his speed to out match her size, in which he would be heading towards his fallen blade, keeping out of striking range of the dragon.

Damn it, why wouldn't he just stay down? That just meant she had to hurt him more, but to be honest, she was just happy he hadn't been killed, although it was quite confusing, how on earth did he get back up and start flying again? Surely he would've broken a few bones, so what was this now? Did he specialize in healing magic? Probably not, seeing as he was probably a take over mage, even though she had her suspicious, she couldn't delve into them as the guy was charging at her again.

But wait, no- that wans't it. He was charging toward the sword she swatted away. She'd get there first, so she began flapping her wings wildly, although they had been injured so she would never make it in time. Now she'd have to prepare for her eventually descent back into her human form as she knew whatever this was put a lot of strain on her gem, and if it cracked, well, it wasn't something to talk about.

She could feel the energy leaving her body, although, now she knew she'd be left helpless before the dark creature that was currently charging towards his weapon. This wasn't a good turn of events, she'd probably be skewered and left to die here, as his emotional aura had no signs of restraint, in fact, all she could sense was an overwhelming storm of killing intent.

Her dragon form fluttured to the ground as it popped away in an explosion of candy, leaving Bellaria kneeling on the ground surrounded by small pieces of candy. To be honest, she kind of hated how all of her spells left behind candy, as it was quite annoying to be accused of littering everytime she was on a mission where she was supposed to be a good guy.

Now she was frightful, as she had no idea how to survive against the dark form.

Stats:

The youth had watched Bell try to dart to stop him from grabbing the sword, but due to his prior attacks, and watching her begin to decend into the human form, he eventually made it to his sword. A quick grab-n-go as he stood a mere 10meters from Bell at this point, having reached his blade long before she could have reached it, since he had the speed initiative going. Now decending from the air, his wounds all but almost completely healed up as he bent his head side to side, cracking his neck as if inducing a killing intent, but it wasn't there he was insane in this form, but still smart after all. He knew it was about to run out, and even now the energies began to swallow itself returning his body back to the normal form. The armor was shreaded as was some of his clothes, and now just simply standing there with sword in hand, he looked towards Bell.

He was no longer in his demon lineage form, just as he watched Bell be in her form, they were both on even grounds in terms of that. However he knew he lost. Shame really... too bad because to him, this was a fun duel, though with no access to magic, and more so, he had no access to any form of an attack other than his nearly broken sword, the moment Bell casted a spell, he'd lose.

"Good match Bell... but you won. You dont realize why... but you did" He spoke, sheathing his blade, and walking up towards her, offering a hand to help them up.

I have admitted defeat. I know with no magic, I'd not be able to continue this fight, Icly Raiza understands hes too far away since no access to any magic at all.

Bellaria watched as the guy returned from the dark form. So he probably wasn't possessed, and maybe that was the guy's magic, demon takeover or whatever. That was all she could really describe it while using her Novian magic. Demon's weren't real, but they were rumored to inhabit Magnus, but this guy couldn't be from Pantheon unless he happened to be a Nova gem holder. Which she doubted, as he appeared to lack a transformation- maybe the demonic thing was the male version of a Novian transformation.

"Good match Bell... but you won. You dont realize why... but you did"

Really? Had she really won? No, she couldn't have. She was weak, barely strong enough to do anything, let alone fight another mage and win. Maybe she had done something she shouldn't have and that was why he had resigned. Bell didn't recall cheating, so maybe this guy was a really good actor and close to death, but she never had the strength to do that, so it was a bit confusing. Regardless she was quite excited to have won, so she couldn't help but jump up and squeal as she willed away her transformation with a puff that send a dozen pieces of small candies everywhere on the floor. She really preferred that not to happen, but there was nothing she could do, and she should be thankful for having the powers.

She was about to turn away and leave, but she suddenly remembered that she had to be courteous and not a bragger, as she herself could get quite emotional when she lost. Bell waved to the guy and smiled, hoping he'd feel better soon.

"Thank you for sparring with me! I had lots of fun, I have to go now, so thank you again!"
