Job Title:Mundo Does As He Pleases!
Rank: A
Player Requirements: 3 A ranks minimum, or equivalent; no lower than B. Maximum of 5 mages. (HIGHLY SUGGESTED TO BRING A TEAM OF THE MAX)
Job Requirements: 40 posts minimum, 450 words minimum per post. Locate Ivo Mundo’s Lab within Bosco. Investigate with the assistance of police units. Locate and Kill Ivo Mundo and his latest creation. Do not let the laboratory explode if possible (Mission will not fail if unable to stop the explosion) After 12 individual dice rolling posts, if you do not get the Boss he will show up to deal with you himself.
Job Location: Bosco
Job Description: The leaders of Bosco are worried about a colleague of theirs; Ivo Mundo. Though intelligent, he was proven to be insane and unfit to be one of the head scientists within the technology based city. Though since his departure he has been quiet, they fear that the random cases of missing bodies are leading up to become more than just simple “missing person” or “grave robbing” cases for the authorities. Ivo Mundo has been known to do as he pleases; this has brought caution to his former associates as his last select few creations struck a mix of fear and nausea; making him a top priority to find. Even among mad and deranged scientists; Mundo is one of the more dangerous to leave alone for too long.
The Mages who accept this mission will be given two Police Units. Both are durable to take two A rank damage equivalence each, and being equipped with plasma blades in each arm, two tesla energy grenades, a scatter canon in their right arm and an assault shooter in their left. Within their knee caps (kneeling down) they can fire three meter long heat cables that will detain enemies by shocking them. This works similarly to a taser against flesh based organisms as well. The damage these police units are made to do are mostly non-lethal and energy based. Though they can take out a single individual with ease; they have a hard time prioritizing swarms. Their plasma blades deal B rank damage, the Assault Shooter deals A rank damage in a full clip, the Scatter Canon deals A rank damage within two meters, but dilutes to B rank damage beyond.Their Tesla grenades deal A rank damage over a period of 3 posts, while their Heat Cables deal no damage but root/stun caught units.
Enemies:
Weak:
Guard Wasps X10: A swarm of 10, medium sized robotic wasps that Dr. Mundo made to guard his lab from any intruders. No one knows why exactly he made the freaking wasps, but such is the way of scientists who have gone off the deep end. The wasps will attempt to sting you with their stingers, which are coated in a dangerous poison, dealing B rank damage. Relatively easy to deal with, exploding after being hit with a single B rank spell. Best to hit them with something that attacks multiple targets.
Normal:
Strong:
Ivo’s Robotic Sentries X3:
They are stronger against physical attacks than magical. Each of these units can take an astounding 5 A rank spell damage, or take 9 A ranks worth Melee damage. They are able to conjure up energy barriers from their backs that protects them from 2 A rank spells worth of energy damage for three posts.
Despite their durability, they do not have a wide variety of ways to fight back, being bulky and slow with only a railgun for a right arm that deals B rank damage before overheating for a single post. They also have an adjustable left arm that can pull out a 2 meter long heat blade dealing A rank damage. To encounter these brutes with other units around can lead to a difficult fight ahead.
Ivo Mundo would risk losing everything, but he absolutely will not hand over his greatest creation to his “greedy” former colleagues. In an act of desperation, when the boss dice is rolled, Mundo will arm his base to self-destruct. The countdown will take 13 posts (10 minutes worth approximately) before the entire facility explodes. (you will be dragged out if unable to find a way to turn the self-destruct sequence off in time. ) ,
Boss:
Reward: 45,000 jewels upon completion. If you prevent the base from self-destructing, one person in your group will be able to take home Dr. Mundo’s patented I-Field Generator. This is a Legendary classification of magic item that is capable of lessening the damage of B rank or lower magic damage by 25% once every 5 posts. It will not reduce damage from Physical spells/abilities/enhancements. Also if you manage to keep the place from exploding, you'll get an extra A ranks worth of experience (After bonus calculation)

- The Mech Suit:
- Abilities:
More Dakka!: Fires both of the twin gatling guns on the robots backpack at you, but due to the massive recoil and the hastily put together suit, the aim is rather sporadic and the exploding bullets end up going all over the place. If you get hit by this barrage, you will take an A ranks worth of damage. The explosions caused by the bullets are 1 meter in their radius. The guns will overheat and take 3 posts to cooldown.
Fire Ze Missiles!!: Fires three missiles each from the two missile launchers on the robot’s shoulder for 6 missiles total. The missiles do B rank damage per hit and have a blast radius of 5 meters. Can fire once every 2 posts.
EVEN MORE DAKKA!!!!!: Mundo gets really, really pissed at you and unleashes EVERYTHING he has regardless of whether or not it is on cooldown. You will deal with a multitude of missiles in conjunction with the gatling guns on the back to make sure you have as little room to avoid his attack as possible. Everything converges into one large explosions that is 20 meters in its radius and will deal S rank damage if you’re caught in it. This is a last desperation move however, as it will cause Mundo’s suit to go critical and explode within mere moments. Knowing this, Mundo will put all power into the thrusters and attempt to charge at you before the suit explodes causing another blast 20 meters in radius for S ranked damage. He would rather die and take you with him then let his greatest creation be destroyed.
Boss:
- The Butcher; Urgot:
- Abilities:
Cow Divider: Urgot surrounds himself in a barrier of his old Necromancer magic, protecting him for one post from 3 attacks of any rank A or below, for one post.. If the barrier is broken, he will be stunned for a couple of seconds. However, if it is not he will lunge up into the air and crash down with his heated twin blade, slamming it down to deal A rank physical damage while creating an explosion of 5 meters that deals A rank magical damage to all in the zone and slowing their speed by 20%
If the shield is broken, Urgot will still perform this lunge after he recovers from the temporary paralyses but will only deal C rank damage due to being weakened with no explosion following it up.
Pork Churner: Urgot rushes forward, hazardously spinning his twin blade in front of him dealing A rank damage for three posts. He does not flinch while performing this ability and will ignore all immobilizations as he rushes towards his victims. This can be used to quickly eradicate any of his summoned “Meat” creations that Urgot calls forth with his remaining Necromancer magic. However, doing so will heal him for half the damage with each monster killed.
Meat House Rush Hour: Urgot conjures up a small bit of his Necromancer magic to bring to animate creatures often associated with a butchery; Cows and Pigs. Awkwardly enough, Mundo happens to keep large bins of rotting meat nearby for Urgot to use during this action: allowing him to conjure up two Zombie cows and two Zombie pigs made out of meat from various animals. These things are fairly weak however, taking 1 A rank damage before they collapse back as piles of meat to be used again later. Urgot will perform this move once every four posts, and cannot run out of reserves to summon.
- Backstory:
- Within the country of Bellum, the racist country within Earthland’s History, stood a town bent on the darker side of Magic Worship. Dark magic was practiced and worshiped to extreme lengths, and their tolerance to non-magical travelers was as extreme as their faith within their magic. One such extremist was the Necromancer Urgot. In words uncomparable, he loathed and despised non-magic creatures; dragging any that he saw to be met with a fate worse than death. No expense was wasted in his mad rituals to turn non-magic creatures and people into those consumed and reformed by magic. From sacrifices unto an alter, torture that wracked the minds into insanity, and prejudice equal to none; Urgot stood out as an executioner and “reformer” among his associates. It mattered not who came forth into Bellum’s borders or even just skittering on just outside of it; any one and thing was captured by this Necromancer’s hellish creations into his chambers. The rest of the country sought to end this monster’s rampage silently due to their prejudice against their neighboring nations. Urgot eventually met his demise, being cleaved in two by an astral blade created by his foe. However, Urgot did not die completely. In his last few moments, this obsessed monster used his own techniques on his body to keep himself alive: turning him into that of an undead. Now with necromantic energies flowing through his body, he fled before he could be vanquished again.
His remaining corpse of his right arm - a stubbed left arm - his head and his upper body were found by the Mad Scientist Ivo Mundo, a lunatic from the technologically advanced city of Bosco, discovered this corpse and formulated a plan. He offered the individual a chance to have his whole body returned to him. Though Urgot despised the non-magical person, he was eventually beat by the scientist’s logic; and offered up his body in a chance to get revenge. However, Ivo was not going to let this “deranged” necromancer roam free; and thus reconstructed the man’s body turning him more into machine than man. He even found a way to use the Necromantic energies flowing through the corpse to fuel the robot’s servos and weapons to form the basis of a new line of his creations. With the magic fueled automaton now at his call, Urgot’s only sliver of individuality left is within his brutal nature to kill and destroy anything non-magical; outside of his own new creator upon being unleashed.
