Description:
Soul Manipulation is a magic that existed since the first demons walked the earth. It can only be learned by demons, but is seldom used by demons. It's been forgotten to the extent that there is only one piece, of one scroll that so much as mentions it. For a human to learn this magic, he/she must contract with a demon, and use the power to kill an amount of a type of creature. Both are decided by the demon. Soul magic has the ability to kill, or incapacitate; depending on who is in control. In its basic form, the magic has two routs; Material, and Astral. Material transforms souls into spiritual objects, but can never be used to re-create life or the likeness of it. It can also be used to reinforce non spiritual objects so they can interact with souls. Astral Soul Manipulation is using energy from the dead, in the form of decayed souls to effect the real world. Use of this type is rare, as most the wizards who "mastered" it, attempted to rebel against the demon they contracted with, and payed the price when they realized demons possess far more power than humans. The magic takes on a primary Dark Blue, with a light blue secondary color, and a combination of grey and white in some areas. Being a demonic magic, this magic can also grant the user the ability to tap into darkness magic as well. As these spells are either Soul, or Death element; only a Soul Slayer, or Death element Slayer can consume them. Niyol has an ability to create a pair of black, feathery, angel wings that allow him to fly at the same speeds he sprints with no speed modifiers at all. These wings are part of his being, and if hit, Niyol will take damage. Niyol also has the ability to see Souls, this yields no "stat" benefits, and does NOT allow Niyol to see further than normal. He is able to switch between normal vision and soul sight at will.
A small note, instead of Magic Power being used to cast spell, Niyol uses Souls which is the undead equivalent of MP. Below, I’ll either specify ‘souls’ or “ƧƧ” He can channel the souls from the dead through his body, and convert that into spells that he can actually cast. Naturally, there's unlimited amounts of souls in this world, as death is abundant. However, his body can only handle so much casting at once before he suffers the symptoms of magic exhaustion. The rate of exchange is the same as normal magic power. Niyol starts with 100ƧƧ, just the same as all mages start with 100MP. If a B Rank spell costs 15MP for a B Rank player, it costs 15ƧƧ for Niyol. Also because of this, Niyol cannot be detected by any non-soul mages. Likewise, he cannot detect the presence of other non-soul mages. His magic cannot be dissected through any means, unless the mage dissecting it is soul element. The only way a person can learn of Niyol's magic, or him of theirs, is by seeing him use it first hand, or by him telling them directly.Strengths:☠ Versatile

Description
Thousands of years before the official discovery of magic there was a civilization of people who wielded the powers of Time, Space, Life, Death, and Nature. These civilizations all rose to their peak, as most of them do, and then was suddenly wiped out of existence. Fast forward over a thousand years, to a time when all humans were at war with each other. Many nations caught in deadlocks as their armies of swords, and shield found themselves to have no true difference in power. One kingdom, lead by a man and woman who wished to never deal with war, had sent out an expedition to find a safe route to escape the violence and start their kingdom in a more peaceful land. However, when their expedition returned, they'd found various tomes with magical knowledge written down... magic that no soldier could learn as they found it too illogical, and closed off their minds to it. The king's daughter, Altsoba, had found the tomes and began reading them endlessly, engulfed by the knowledge she began trying to do it herself. Her young, child's mind so open and accepting of new concepts that it didn't reject the concept of magic, and she became the first Wielder of Time since the village was wiped out. She didn't stop there as she also mastered the magic of space, and altering the fabric of reality to suit her will. A day came where her kingdom was attacked, her mother and father slain before her, and using that magic she alone drove the enemy out and assumed the role of Queen. During her time, Altsoba ruled her kingdom with love, compassion, and an iron fist when her hand was forced. Her kingdom rose to it's peak... before being wiped out by technology that flung massive rocks over her walls, impaled her castle with massive arrows, then... the army of millions. Her people fought valiantly, from the first soldier, to the last civilian; her people eliminated more than half the enemy forces, but numbers were always greater than power... Altsoba, upon dying, turned into a demon who fed on the souls of others to sustain herself. After a millennia, Altsoba broke free of her demonic ways and became known as an 'Unchained' demon, gaining the title 'Demon of War' as well as discovering she wasn't the first to do this. The first, was an individual known only as the 'Demon of Death' who was the absolute first mortal to have mastered the magic. However, this one was a corrupted entity who indulged in killing and performing horrible, horrible acts with no particular sense of restraint.
Upon birth, Niyol's soul was taken as a home for the Demon of Death. As a result, his parents, and all those present in the room were immediately killed by the demon's power as it took home inside his new host; forever damning Niyol to a life of misery. In exchange, the powers of the demon would forever flow into Niyol and allow him to become one of the most powerful death mages this world will ever see. Altsoba, who knew the ways of this demon and desired to protect this world from its influence, had placed a ritual for Niyol to find. Upon finding it at the age of nine, the night before his tenth birthday, Niyol performed it unknowing of what would transpire... The following night, he killed all of his tribe off, down to the last man woman and child, including a girl he was looking forward to marrying. The demon of death was trying to increase its own power by causing as much death as possible, but was unable to overpower Altsoba's soul as it too took Niyol as its home.
Ability
Niyol gains some of the abilities and powers of both the spirits. At the very base level, before any increase in power; Niyol gains one passive effect from each of his spirits. Then gains +1 ability from each spirit, each rank, starting with D Rank and ending at S Rank. These abilities all scale with his rank.Power of Death: The first power, originating from the Demon of Death, is the ability to kill anything and everything without needing to touch it. The exception is other mages of notable strength(players) as they're protected by their magic right up until their life force is nullified(0HP). However, those mages normally immune to death will find their immunity stripped away and replaced with a resistance to it depending on their level of power compared to Niyol's at the time. Another exception is to the strongest of NPC's, as they're life force is so great that it would take as much time to kill them through this power, as it would through normal combat. This counts for Normal, Strong, and Boss rank NPC's. With this ability, Niyol can kill even free will itself (as a plot device only for job-NPC's), though he refuses to strip that which makes us alive without probable cause.

Each Rank Below: -20%Endowment of the Queen: The next ability, stemming from Altsoba, is the blessings of fortune that her people were endowed with. He gains +100% jewel on all jobs performed that reward it. He also gains the ability to sacrifice all XP from that job to gain another 100% jewel. Jobs that don't normally award jewel will award it based on the rank of the job, and also have the same option for Niyol to gain an extra bonus of it by sacrificing all XP. If the job awards no jewel, they do not receive the blessing to gain it regardless. This ability nullifies any other jewel modifier placed on Niyol, such as those who use the "Gold Rush" lineage, or Golden Lacrima Milk. It does not nullify these for other players however. The below values are for jobs that DO NOT already provide jewel. These values do not gain the passive +100% jewel, but Niyol can still sacrifice all the EXP to gain +100% to the reward.

Altsoba is a free spirit, she has the ability to summon herself into this world for a brief period of time to aid Niyol in combat. She has the same health as a grand summon equal to Niyol's Rank (Max S) and may be called on once per thread, for up to five posts. She wields a scythe that looks the same as Niyols, but does not increase her damage in PvP. While she is on the field, she is able to stop time and space entirely for 30 in character seconds (1 post, can only be done once). If used against players, this ability will stop time for those equal to, or below her rank; or slow it down by 100% minus 20% for each rank above Niyol the opponent/attack is. It has an effective radius of 20 meters, plus 20 meters per rank above D Rank, and then 150 meters at S Rank. Attacks, regardless of where they originate, when in this radius will be effected the same as players. If a cleansing ability is used at the same time this is cast, or while the effect is in play for those who are able to resist it, they will be granted amnesty from the effect of the spell.
Death however is not a free spirit. It is obligated to cling to whatever living creature it so happens to have its soul bound to, which in this case is Niyol. Once per thread, Niyol may activate the power of this being to kill a maximum of 4 attacks that impact him. These attacks of course, are equal to or below his rank and will use 1 charge regardless of what rank it is. If the attack is above his rank, it will use however many combined charges it takes to equal that rank. This is calculated by the amount of ranks above Niyol the attack is, times two. This cannot be used against H Rank attacks.
C Rank: Demonic Enhancement (Passive)
Altsoba grants Niyol some insight into her powers as a wielder of Time and Space in order to help him survive. This grants Niyol 1x Time OR Space element Signature that scales with his rank, capping at S Rank. This must be registered with his primary magic.
Death grants Niyol the ability to siphon the souls of his enemies out, regardless of if they're alive or dead. This is limited to players who OOC plan it with Niyol or permit him, and NPC's of Weak and Normal Rank. Souls ripped out may be consumed (ability registered already), or he may stuff it inside another vessel such as a stuffed animal, jar, another human, suit of armour, weapon, etc... this ability doesn't necessarily kill the person, as the body is very much still alive.
B Rank: Demonic Life (Active/Passive)
Altsoba grants Niyol the ability to reverse the time inside his being to remove 1 negative effect from his body. This effect must be equal to, or less than his rank and may be performed once per three posts. As a plot device to stop bleeding (like from a paper cut, or sword wound) Niyol may do this indefinitely. Effects above Niyol's rank have their duration cut in half. If it has a 1 post duration, it is removed entirely. This may be done (the non-plot device one) 2 times per thread.
Death provides Niyol with the ability to convert his entire being, clothes and all, into a soul that cannot be consumed. This soul form cannot deal, nor be dealt damage. It cannot cast spells, be stopped by any object or force, nor can it stop any object or force. It can levitate, phase through walls, and interact with non-magical objects. If the object were to be thrown at someone, or used as a weapon, it would deal 0 damage regardless of any buffs on Niyol. This may be used during PvP combat twice per thread, but can be used a plot device infinitely during non-PvP. During PvP it lasts 1 post.
A Rank: Demon's Endowment (Passive)
Altsoba, having spent such great deals of time with Niyol, will acknowledge he is ready to learn from her and grants him a form known as "Tempus Spatii Sanguis" otherwise known as Time/Space Descendant. This grants Niyol 1 spell of each rank, D -> H that may be time, space, or both in nature. However, this comes with the fact that he must switch between his normal magic and this specialization of magic. This switch allows Niyol to immediately begin using his time and space magic, BUT when he switches back all his primary spells, Unique Abilities, Weapon/Pet/Armour actives, and Secondary Magic would have been switched over to a 3 post cooldown regardless of if it was already on cooldown or not. If a spell was on cooldown when he switched, the cooldown will be increased by 3 posts. He may switch spell categories at will. These spells must be registered with Niyol's Secondary magic and he cannot use any spell above his rank. All spells on cooldown when Tempus Spatii Sanguis was switched to, will remain at that post count while Tempus Spatii Sanguis is in use.
Death, having deemed Niyol a worthy vessel to receive a fifth blessing from it, provides Niyol with a type of aura that causes his spiritual presence (which is the equivilant of magical presence) to become equal across its entire girth. Regardless of if an individual is one mile away, or one inch away, it would feel exactly the same when tracking him using Spiritual Presence. As registered in Niyol's magic, only Soul Mages can sense his presence and vice versa. Niyol's soul cannot be sensed individually by any mage, but his presence can. His physical being is covered in a type of spiritual veil that makes it so those who see souls would be unable to see his, and those who can tell someone's magic by looking at them would also be unable to tell anything about his own. Niyol is able to sense the souls of those within 300 meters of him, increasing to 1 mile at H Rank. This does not effect Niyol during combat, and does not grant him any special bonuses like reaction time or whatever. Lastly for this ability, Niyol is able to see the souls of others. This is similar to X-Ray vision in that it alters how the world is perceived, but doesn't grant any bonuses other than that.
S Rank: Demon's Delight (Passive/Active)
Altsoba, having spent the best years of her life with Niyol, grants him the ability to choose his own path. He becomes an entity with no age, unbound by the confines of time and space, and is able to grow older or younger as he pleases. Niyol gains the ability to create his own realms, and invite other beings into them as he sees fit. He gains the ability to hop between worlds without restraint, and is able to survive in any environment. During PvP, this becomes an active ability effecting a 500 meter radius around him when used to create realms. The realm must be fair, as determined by an OOC agreement between him and his opponent(s). If no agreement is made, he may involve a staff member to assist, or simply not use the ability at all. It is limited to one use per thread, and requires one post to set up with a ten post duration.
Death, having merged fully with Niyol's soul at this point and thus, being consumed by Niyol entirely; will grant him the ability to take any form he wishes. Niyol gains the ability to have a magical presence that all mages may sense, and can change it at any given point to match any other magical presence around him in the thread. Niyol gains the ability to change his scent, and spiritual presence as he desires. Death itself, as a force of nature, does not have a distinguishable form... it has no true scent, nor anything one could use to pick it apart from the rest of the world as Death is but a concept and Life is but a lie. That said, anything that could be used to pick Niyol apart from any other person, besides his magic itself, can be altered to Niyol's preferences. For plot purposes this an be done without limit, during PvP it is limited to a maximum of 5 transformations.
Usage
A set of highly powerful abilities each gained at certain ranks, accompanied with a lineage that DOES NOT make Niyol a demon himself.
- Unique Abilities:
Spirit Pressure ☠ Niyol's powers grow stronger and stronger as he progresses through life, so much so that the spirits around him grow in so great of numbers it effects the gravity around him. When Niyol is present, gravity is increased drastically, to the point where enemies have their speed reduced by a fixed amount depending on their rank relative to Niyol's. Niyol may use 10ƧƧ to increase the spiritual pressure, and increase the speed reduction by 20% per 10ƧƧ he uses. This debuff lasts for 1 post. If a player's speed would fall below -100% by this effect, they will take player rank magic damage. If ƧƧ was used to increase the Spiritual Pressure, the resulting debuff will only last 1 post before reverting to the original level it was supposed to be at. The bonus 20% is reduced by 10% for each rank above Niyol the player is, and not increased by any amount if they're below his rank.

Consume ☠ When Niyol strikes an enemy with a Spell/Ability, that opponent loses 5% of their maximum MP and has that much of it transfer to Niyol in the form of ƧƧ. If an opponent cannot lose anymore MP, they will be dealt an additional 25% damage from Niyol's magic.
Death Charge ☠ For every 1 HP Niyol loses, he builds up 6x "Death Counters" which increases by +1 for each rank above D Rank Niyol is. For every 3 of these counters, Niyol gains +5% Speed and Agility. For every 6 of these counters, Niyol gains +5% Melee Damage. For every 12 of these counters, Niyols gains +5% magic damage. Niyol may also exchange these counters for ƧƧ at a rate of 12 counters per 1 ƧƧ. (All buffs cap at +75%)
Reap ☠ Once per thread, Niyol can place his hands on an opponent non-player controlled NPC, during a non-PvP fight and deal damage equal to 20% of that enemy’s max HP. Half that amount is then added to Niyol’s ƧƧ total.
Death Orbs ☠ Niyol is able to materialize small, 4 inch diameter orbs of death energy and fire them as a melee attack. This deals Armed Melee damage, can be consumed by Death Slayers, and only Death Slayers. They travel up to 50 meters at B Rank, 70 meters at A Rank, 90 meters at S Rank, and 150 meters at H Rank. During PvP, Niyol may only create 6 of these per post.

Summary
Niyol slams both of his knuckles together, forming a white magic circle where they connect. A White lotus forms around his feet and slowly spins clockwise. When combined with the Seal of the Crimson Lotus, and Azure Gate Key spell they allow the Soul Guardian's Canon to be fired. This spell increases the Damage of Soul Guardian's Canon by 1.5x D Rank, and 15 yards.

☠ If Niyol is moved in the slightest, the White Lotus will wilt and die, ending the spell and preventing any of the other D Rank spells from being used. This is due to all 3 of the other D Rank spells mentioned in this one requiring this spell to be cast first.

Summary
Can only be casted directly after "Seal of the White Lotus" is used. Niyol slides one of his knuckles down, and the other up while converting the one moving up into a flat form. The hand that's still a fist rests at the base of the palm of the one that's flat. This forms a crimson lotus that's suspended upside down above Niyol's head spinning counter-clockwise. The White Lotus begins letting off white particles that flows up, and the Crimson Lotus lets of crimson ones that flows down.
This spell, when used together with Seal of the White Lotus, and Azure Gate Key will unlock Soul Guardian's Canon. This spell increases the damage of Soul Guardian's Canon by 1.5x D Rank damage, as well as its range by 15 meters.

Summary
This spell can only be used directly after "Seal of the Crimson Lotus" and is the final spell before "Soul Guardian's Canon" is unlocked. From the position of the previous spell, Niyol spreads his hands far apart creating a large Rhombohedron to appear that extends from the inside of the White Lotus, to the inside of the Crimson Lotus in length (7 feet) and completely engulfs Niyol. Niyol can still be harmed inside the Key, as it is nothing but physical manifestation of spirit particles.
This spell can only be cast in conjunction with Seal of the White Lotus, Seal of the Crimson Lotus, and Soul Guardian's Canon. This spell enhanced Soul Guardian's Canon by 1.5x D Rank damage, and increases its range by 15 meters.

Summary
Niyol spends a few in character seconds charging dark blue energy into the middle of the Azure Gate Key, one of the tips will point in the direction Niyol is going to fire in. Niyol can only fire in 1 direction with it. This spell can only be fired if Seal of the White Lotus, Seal of the Crimson Lotus, and Azure Gate Key are all active. This spell when fired deals a base damage of 1.5x D Rank damage with a base range of 15 meters. The width of the blast is 7 feet in diameter.

☠ Casting the spell requires 3 other spells activated in sequence, all of which are very easy to stop and deal damage to Niyol if he moves a muscle at the wrong time.

Summary
Niyol begins casting this by slamming his knuckles together and creating a 3 inch magic circle above the connected knuckles. This magic circle will split into two magic circles of equal size when the spell "Chains of Consumption" is used.
This spell can only be used on the spell "Chains of Chastisement" and causes the rank of the spell to increase by +1 (2 C = 1 B) as well as the range by 30 meters (1x C Rank).

Summary
This spell can only be cast while "Chains of Freedom" is active. This spell is activated by Niyol pulling his hands apart and spreading them as though he were holding a pair of marionettes. A small ripple will shoot out across the floor, but do nothing immediately to anyone.
When "Chains of Torment" is activated, all enemies caught within its range will lose 5% of their maximum MP and half that will be given to Niyol in the form of ƧƧ.

☠ Breaking his stance. If Niyol is tripped, or hits the floor by some other means, the spell will fade and dissipate.

Summary
As the final spell in the trio, this can only be activated if "Chains of Freedom" and "Chains of Consumption" are active. To use this spell, Niyol pulls his hands back as though he were pulling on the strings of a marionette doll with both hands. Over a base of 30 meters massive black and blue chains consisting of concentrated souls and death magic will erupt from the ground and bind all enemies in place for one post. These enemies will also take spell ranked damage, half of the health lost in this method will be returned to Niyol.

Summary
Stemming off Niyol's ability to generate Death Counters: At any point in the thread, unless the thread, Niyol can cast this spell to release all counters onto 1 opponent and deal damage equal to the amount of counters on him. The attack is executed in 2 posts, where the first one is Niyol pooling together all of his charges, and the second is him firing it in a 1ft diameter cylindrical beam that’s 30 meters long. During jobs this beam can be expanded to a wave that forms a 60 degree cone, increasing from 1 foot wide to 30 meters wide at its maximum range. This attack is pure death energy, and cannot be consumed by anything other than a Death element Slayer. If consumed by a DEATH element slayer, that person will gain +50% damage output for 5 posts. Individuals who are able to consume Death magic, but are not a Slayer at all, will be unable to consume this spell as they lack the physical ability to contain the magic behind it.
Upon a successful hit, but not during PvP, 25% of the damage dealt will be returned to Niyol as life steal.

Summary
Niyol begins this spell by letting all the air out of his body. A 3 mile radius pulse of energy will emit from his being (cosmetic), and then he will begin inhaling. All organic, non-Player fleshy tissue will disintegrate and turn to dust as Niyol literally inhales the lives of NPC's around him.
This cannot be used to insta-kill Boss, Strong, or Normal rank enemies nor can it be used against Player or pets. If used in an Event, Niyol must have OOC permission from 2 admins or more (or the event boss and 1 admin) to use it. This does not deal damage, but rather, it increases the damage of "Death Demon's Flare" by 1.5x B Rank damage, and increases its range by 45 meters.

Summary
After "Death Chain" is cast, Niyol is able to cast this spell by firing a blast of pure death energy from his mouth. This energy deals 1.5x B Rank damage and has a base range of 45 meters. It's begins at being no wider than his mouth, but then enlarges in a type of tear shape to become 3 yards in diameter. This attack is pure death energy, and cannot be consumed by anything other than a Death element Slayer. If consumed by a DEATH element slayer, that person will gain +50% damage output for 1 post. Individuals who are able to consume Death magic, but are not a Slayer at all, will be unable to consume this spell as they lack the physical ability to contain the magic behind it.

Summary
Niyol begins this spell by letting all the air out of his body. A 3 mile radius pulse of energy will emit from his being (cosmetic), and then he will begin inhaling. All the souls of NPC's within that range will be stripped from the bodies. While inhaling, all souls within the range of the energy burst will be consumed by Niyol, including those that weren't in any body to begin with.
This spell does not kill anything that it sucks the soul out of, rather, that NPC is left as a husk with little to no desires of its own. Weak minded NPC's will have an extremely strong desire for human flesh, and seek it out in hopes of consuming another human being all it takes to return their soul. This spell does not effect Player Characters, or their assets. This spell only effects NPC's such as city civilians, random animals, miscellaneous stuff... If used in an Event, Niyol must have OOC permission from 2 admins or more (or the event boss and 1 admin) to use it. This does not deal damage, but rather, it increases the damage of "Soul Guardian's Flare" by 1.5x B Rank damage, and increases its range by 45 meters.

Summary
Niyol causes the souls around him to converge on each other and form a 3 meter radius pillar of blue soul energy. A single pulse of energy is released that deals B Rank magic damage to all enemies within 40 meters, as well as causes them to have a -1% MP bleed effect for 5 posts. This can be mitigated by the player using a purification spell on themself or an ally using it on them.
Strengths:

☠ Blue energy pillar that surrounds Niyol does't protect him from being hit
☠ Giant pillar of energy collecting around Niyol can be seen by any and all types of mages, and can be a very good sign that they should get out the way of the attack.

Summary
Any NPC on a previous thread Niyol was on can be summoned on his side in the form of a soul. The active/passive for this entity is equal to any spells he/she knew at the time of death. That being has 180HP which is equal to base HP of a Grand Summon. If the being was lower rank than this spell, they will be enhanced to be a B Rank grand summon. If they were above the rank of this spell, it will be debuffed to a B Rank grand summon.
If the being brought back didn't know any magic, their soul version will also know no magic (no active/passive). This spell counts as a summon, so if Seikatsu already has 2 summons out on the field, one of them will have to die

Niyol's speed increases by +20 meters per second for up to 1 second. This can be used to move in a straight line only. If Niyol is hit while using this spell, he will take damage equal to the attack's normal damage, and then 10 more damage due to his speed.

Niyol is able to summon any 1 NPC from a previous thread, or any 1 summon he previously had. If it is a being that had multiple active/passive abilities, Niyol must designate 1 to use. If it was a being with no passive/active abilities, it gains the passive ability that it deals melee damage equal to its own +Niyol's melee damage. The NPC summoned like this will be scaled either up or down to equal the rank of this spell, it's base stats are equal to a Normal Summon.

Description:
Niyol, using the power Altsoba gave him (lineage), reverses time around himself or a single target to heal them for Signature Rank magic damage. This spell will cause all non-effect, repair broken bones, fix twists, sprains, or basically any wound that WASN'T caused by the effect of a spell or ability to be undone. As a plot mechanic, Niyol can use this spell to reverse time around objects to un-break/undestroy them. While he can't undestroy an entire city, a building or two of reasonable size in contrast to his rank can be done.
