As soon as zecarayus got the job he ran for Capital Crocus as soon as he could. But in his haste did not ask where the capital was. What should have been an quick time to get there was rather prolonged. When he finally got there he saw the rune knight's for the first time and assumed they were the ones in charge. They surrounded the office building and looked like they were prepared to cast a spell all at once. He approached the first one he saw on the outside, "Excuse me, i'm looking for the one in charge." He said as he showed the guild-mark on his right hand to the man. "Civilian, back away from the-" the rune knight started before he saw the guild mark, then said, "Go to hamilton, he is in charge here and will tell you what's needed of you." he then pointed to the direction of hamilton and zecarayus went that way, and noticed the situation is just as serious as he thought.

He finally met hamilton, an older rune knight with a grim expression over his face. He then looked over zecarayus, "Really fairy tail? Aren't you suppose to go explore or something?" he asked. Zecarayus replied, "Well we need to be diverse no? What's the situation in the building?" Hamiliton pointed at the floor, "We have a whole floor of hostages still, and we have not been able to get an answer out of the worker who's holding them. We can assume he does not like rune knights, and you read the rest of the job description right?" Zecarayus nodded, "Yes sir, I can assume i'm considered expandable here." Hamiliton raised an eyebrow at zecarayus, surprise maybe? "All right then, know that he does not like the company or the manager, otherwise get those hostages out of there." Zecarayus nodded and aproached the building, he could be seen from the floor where the hostages were and knew the man was expecting him. Zecarayus took a deep breath, then walked inside the office building.

As he walked in, the bottom floor was in ruins and void of life, it was creepy and echoed as he walked to the stairs. As he walked he can sense the dread in the place, he knew that if he messed up everyone including him dies, and it all rested on him. As he walked up the stairs he yelled up, "HEY! I'M LETTING YOU KNOW I AM COMING UP THE STAIRS NOW." Generally he yelled so that the man is not surprised and wants to blow it up because of the approach of one person. Once he got to the floor slowly he saw the scene, people sprawled along the floor terrified, some covering their heads and others looked at zecarayus pleading, but all in full view of the captor. The captor had bloodshot eyes and held on to his boss for dear life, with all the explosive lacrimas attached to his body. Fear ruled in this floor, and now zecarayus must confront it.

"Hel-" and was cut off, "DON'T COME ANY CLOSER." the worker screeched in fear at zecarayus. Zecarayus stopped with his hands held up in the air, "Allright, let me introduce myself, im-" "I dont care, your dead anyways..." The worker said miserably. Zecarayus nodded, "Ok, can I know..what this is all about atleast?" he asked very cautiously. And then it began, the stories. The man, named adrian, had a hard up-bringing and was a mental case. Due to the needs of his parent and not wanting to impose on the other parent, adrian suffered through it with multiple thoughts of killing his parents. Then he graduated from school, and things got better as he got kicked out. He was till mentally ill but he could manage it better. Then he entered this place and this ended it for him. There was so much stress, and the boss would blame him for the mistakes that he made, which unfortunatly the boss was a man to make you feel like crap.

As he told the story, zecarayus moved slowly closer to him, but stopped when adrian said so. But the more he told the story, zecarayus kept getting closer until adrian broke down sobbing, but telling the story. "A-nd- then, he fired me! Fo-r sp-eaking b-ack to him." He cried after and zecarayus was able to move the boss out of his arms, but then adrian hugged zecarayus sobbing into his shoulder. Zecarayus took a glance at the other workers and the freed boss, and they moved quietly, but quickly until the only one in danger was him and adrian. "W-why...w-hy is the world like this?" he sobbed into zecarayus shoulder. "Ah I can't tell you that adrian, that is something you have to look for in the world." "Can I....truly?" adrian asked. looked at zecarayus unsure. Zecarayus nodded, "You need to get those larcimas off first though, be much easier to move ya know?" Adrian nodded and started to take off the larcimas and followed zecarayus out. At the entrance of the building though, zecarayus realized adrian did not follow him, and when he put his hand up he noticed the blood. Blood?! he thought, then suddenly felt heavy, too heavy, and blacked out.
When he came too, he was being attended by a medic and asked what happened to him. The medic said that zecarayus stressed himself out too much, probably because he had to kill the stressed worker. I did what?! he thought, his face matching an surprised expression. The medic told him that hamilton, the rune knight commander, were to send word on accomplishment to his guild. Zecarayus nodded, then got up and left before the medic could say anything. As he left, he couldn't get out of his head how he killed adrian, he talked him out of suicide for maker's sakes! Zecarayus was bothered by this and kept moving forward back to the guild. He needed to think about how could this had happened.
