Book 1 : The Darkest Light [Open]

Lexa was running across town after having finished getting some surgical needles that she'd attached to her arm with a piece of cloth when it happened. She took a second to look behind her, making sure Taranis, her 6ft tall alien looking friend with a 4inch hole where his heart should be, was keeping pace. When she turned around, she saw a figure for a split second and accidentally ran into it. Her body ontop the other thing, she felt her face sitting on the other person's chest and immediately straightened up. Noticing she had hit a new member, Lexa dispersed her body becoming pure light, and then reformed a foot or two away from the being. "I-I'm so sorry nee-san!" she shouted with a high-pitched child like voice. "I'm in a terrible rush, so I can't show you around. Gotta go before that brat tears up the brig!!!" she screamed and then began running again. Lexa appeared in a burst of light in front the person again "Oh, so sorry to be rude. Welcome to the guild!" she said and then got back to running, not thinking to use her light form to make it to the brig even faster.
