Name: Mei.
Gender: Female.
Age: 23/?????.
Birthday: 04/01/????.
Sexuality: ???
Special Characteristics:
Personality:
Mei could come off as a strange, or ‘unique’ in her own words, person. She isn’t one to be bossy, or really nagging, but at the same time she isn’t one who enjoys being told what to do, rather following her own creed and way. Mei enjoys going with her own flow in life, a quirk which has netted her into more trouble on occasion than normal. She isn’t disrespectful; Mei knows full well most of the boundaries that you don’t cross with other people, especially when it comes to not listening/obeying another as she commonly dislikes doing. While this might sound unappealing to those who are her superior, Mei isn’t completely the worst soldier in the entire world, and when push comes to shove she will pay attention and do her duty. Effectively this means that those who are rude or too over bearing find themselves in the ignore folder of her mind (in the long run), while those who are far more lenient or kind in their presentation get her full attention, and discourse.
Previous points about her personality aside Mei aside she isn’t mean, far from it. If you are rude to her once it’s not like she will never give you another chance, you might have just had an off day, or are dealing with hardships as is many a case. This makes her extremely laid back and sociable with many types of people so long as they don’t throw weight around or act like complete ‘donkeys’. Willing to give you a fair shot at getting her friendship Mei honestly attempts to listen to your stories, and most of the time enjoys them, and sees if she can’t find a common ground between you and herself. Without a common ground though you will find she isn’t willing to become more than just an acquaintance or a job partner, since you can’t really be friends without having something you share with another, or at least that’s just how she views friendship.
Remember how it was said that Mei isn’t one for arrogant speech, or frankly arrogance in general? In casual conversation this is the very definition of truth for her, but in a battlefield role, she more tolerant of it. Mei doesn’t find the usage of taunting words, and overblown arrogance to be a problem in combat, since if people are going to be that way then obviously they have self-confidence issues, or are trying very poorly to rile her up. Most of the time the person can’t back it up in the first place, so it isn’t a big issue. Unlike most Mei won’t return it in kind, except of course if it’s the last blow in either a war of the words or magic, in which case she will be sure to make a (probably horrible) pun about the situation. Preferring to not show her emotions during a fight, Mei tries to maintain calm, though if you threw a pie in someone’s face she might not be able to contain herself, or if someone she likes is in mortal danger, she might express harsh worry on her face too. Overall Mei tries and just like anyone fails on occasion to have the perfect poker face in such conflicts.
You may have guessed that Mei is a serious person most of the time, trying to maintain some kind of composure about herself. If you didn’t get that from the previous descriptions of her personality I must apologize my job was not done well enough. While Mei’s disciplined attitude is important to her, she has another side to her, which involves her being more outgoing and friendly, possibly cracking jokes and acting a little goofy. This side of her normally only comes out whenever she considers someone to be close to her, normally a friend, where she drops her guard a little bit and let’s herself enjoy the company more than usual. It’s at this point she might be considered a little bit more normal personality wise, and capable of expressing more normal emotions, or it could be to some that she becomes drastically more annoying, and they then regret becoming her friend. Too bad for them though that they are then stuck with that version of Mei around them most of the time, and will have to learn to love it, or just leave it.
There is a side to Mei that isn’t disciplined or even really witty or clever, that side to her is the one that wishes for Romance. Sadly like many before her Mei views herself as not good enough for a relationship, and instead just focuses on getting friends and heck just improving her own personality and discipline. It would take a real push to make her openly admit her feelings for another, as she fears being alone for the rest of her life, and would rather have them stay a friend then not be around at all. In reality that may not be the case at all, but in her mind it is just as real as the air that she breathes.
There is one last subject which has yet to be touched upon for this most curious girl, anger. To be put simply she doesn’t feel anger in a normal manor, you can call her as many names as you want and try to abuse her as much as you want, she will just write it off or ignore it completely. It’s when people act this way to those who she considers friends or someone who she has just met who seems nice enough, she will get angry in their steed, typically sticking up for them regardless of better judgment. This leads to the classic good guy attitude of yelling their heads off, and telling them to take back the insults before she gets serious about possibly starting a conflict over it, that so many love to mock happens. In reality she isn’t interested in starting a conflict but rather is more interested in getting the other person to feel better by letting them ignore their own anger and focus on hers instead. In essence she doesn’t get mad unless someone else is offended since she can handle herself but someone else might not be able too, and being mean to someone who can’t defend themselves is just cowardly in her book.

General Appearance

Weight: Seriously, never ask a woman this.
Hair: Cyan.
Eyes: Cyan.
Skin Tone: Fair.
Appearance:
To discuss Mei’s appearance one must first look at her body itself, and not just the clothes that she wears. Sadly those clothes she wears might be more interesting to discuss, but this is digressing. Mei would tell you that there isn’t much to her, she’s just simple in appearance, but that’s not really the truth just her being shy. While it is true that in some aspects she is more average then outstanding like anyone there are a few things that make her special. Her eye color for example being almost all black is unique, if not a little creepy to the kiddies on occasion, and her Cyan hair compliments her eyes nicely. Despite being someone who may enjoy one too many meals, she was blessed with a fantastic metabolism, and can happily maintain her figure with minimal effort, either that or she is massively cheating with some unknown magic technique. According to many other women, it is probably the latter, still Mei doesn’t much care if she can enjoy whatever she wants while not becoming a blob. Mei isn’t short, and instead is a little bit sad at how tall she has become after her little effort at getting her divinity back. Sadly this means that the joke about dressing as an amazon on Halloween can finally be true, but hey at least the costume could be fifty percent off. She appears to be Caucasian decent, but who really knows. Her skin tone is fair rather than tanned.
Typically Mei will wear her hair just straight as she gets annoyed maintaining different styles all the time. Due to the way she cuts it however this style typically looks a little bit like bed hair except for the two hanging bangs in the front. On occasions that are special however, she try to wear it in a ponytail or even proper twin tails. Typically this is done only at formal get-togethers or perhaps a date (if she ever gets one…). Her hair length is pretty long, just reaching down to the nape of her neck, but considering she doesn’t want to have to maintain a long head of hair it’s fine. Typically having parted bangs, she can come across as a serious but aloof person who looks lazy and possibly unkempt… which sadly is mostly the truth. Hey you try to maintain all those annoying beauty tips and methods while try to learn how to nuke someone! It’s a pain!
Outfits for Mei can be very amusing. She prefers darker colors in terms of her clothing and as such will typically appear a little bit Goth, despite not being that ‘emo’. Mei enjoys highlighting her hair (and secretly her eyes sometimes) which is the main reason for the darker colors within her clothing selections. The main drawback of her choices in clothing colors is that her skin tends to be highlighted as well, and she can tend to look paler than she actually is. Mei will blissfully ignore this fact and say it doesn’t exist if questioned on it, even if it does and might make her look worse than another style of clothing colors would. The color list she prefers to wear is as follows: black, grey, brown, green, blue, and red, all of which are darkened versions of their regular colors, except for black as that doesn’t make sense.
Mei’s choice of clothing besides coloring is oddly varied. She prefers to wear skirts over pants and short sleeved tops over long sleeved. Chilly days are her antithesis (which, yes is a contradiction to her like of cloudy days) as she frequently complains about them despite her choice attire. Typically she enjoys more frilly attire over the sun dress variety of clothing and despite being encouraged to avoid accessories she tries to throw them onto outfits or herself whenever possible. A bow here maybe a bracelet or earrings all of which are fair game for her lack of real fashion sense. This tends to make her outfits originally horrible and again it will be up to someone else to knock them into non-embarrassment levels of fashion, or a job that would horribly maim them (and probably do the human race a favor in the process). Basically she has no fashion sense, in fact it might just be a negative percent of fashion sense, if that even uh... makes sense.
Mei isn’t impartial to wearing a dress, or more formal clothing however, though she normally will have to go out and buy a new one for such an occasion as her bags don’t carry such clothing all that often. Mei despite liking what many consider to be “miniskirts” doesn’t like to show too much skin on the upper regions and totally not because she lacks confidence at all; just modesty is a key factor for a young woman to have after all, and most of the slutty things would probably look terrible on her anyway.

Special Characteristics:
- Minor god: While it doesn’t have much in effect on her day to day routine being a minor god means Mei has different needs than others. She worries more about her duty and maintaining order than others might, and she doesn’t need to do many of the stuff humans need to, though she enjoys eating probably way too much. Really it’s just a foot note, she doesn’t let it get to her head, and especially since she needed the support of the underworld to maintain faith so she didn’t just fade away into a concept.
- Tattoo: Mei has an odd shaped tattoo in the middle of her chest, she doesn’t say what its purpose is to anyone, but really it’s harmless, just something that she has, and that should be noted. Don’t ask her about it.

Likes:
- Snack Time: Mei loves to enjoy her snacks, doesn’t really matter what they are, she just loves them, unless of course it’s something healthy like fruit.
- Every meal of the day: Snack time is important, it’s the second, fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth meal of the day, but Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are the important ones, since they contain the actual meals. What didn’t you know that order of importance is by portions and not just what’s in them?
- Cloudy Days: Something about the majestic feeling of the clouds within the sky fills Mei with a calming attitude, and makes her believe she can just rest and relax. Sunny days aren’t bad but they promote a working attitude, and not a restful one, which is far better her in mind.
- Company: Mei enjoys chatting with other people oddly enough, and dislikes just being alone with her thoughts all the time. Not that it can’t be fun to just ponder alone, she just prefers to be around others most of the time.
- Stories: Mei loves to listen to other peoples life stories, to both support and secretly laugh at them. Hearing more stories gives her a better perspective on what others have gone through, and allows her to understand others in a whole new light.
Dislikes:
- Arrogance: Mei dislikes whenever people are arrogant about nearly anything. Sure you might be skilled, but being skilled doesn’t mean that you are all powerful in that field, and underestimating any complications is foolish… speaking of which.
- Foolishness: Those who perform anything foolishly she dislikes. While she isn’t the most serious person and makes plenty of mistakes herself, simply rushing into a situation isn’t her style, and being foolish about anything leads to complications, and dangers that could have been avoided.
- Stupid questions: Yes they exist, and yes she dislikes it whenever you ask them. Before you ask, no this dislike isn’t subjective it’s fact, according to Mei’s opinion.
- Shiny objects: People love to flash them around, and then the reflection of the bright light gets into your eye and is just super annoying. Seriously stop flashing those things around, no one cares that you got engaged if it’s going to cause me blindness!
- Healthy snacks: If you put raisins in her cookies there is a problem, if you give her a cup of fruit instead of ice cream, there is a problem. Snacks weren’t made to be healthy they were made to be delicious!
- Abuse: Don’t do it to others with her around, it’s not cool. She doesn’t like it when the strong pick on the weak, or one who holds an obligation to another disregards what they need to do.
Motivations:
- Passion: Without a spark there is nothing, passion is what drives everyone to accomplish something. As a motivation passion should be simply light hearted about different tasks and dreams, something which Mei learned a while ago, as too much passion turns something sour.
- Discipline: To succeed at anything one must have discipline, and her motivation is to have enough in her life to understand the big picture and not just rush forward into any problem, or obstacle in life without considering the options. It could be counted as foolish by some but it’s gotten her this far, so she doesn’t view it as such personally.
- Sampling every style of cuisine: She refuses to die till this is completed. No exceptions, and as far as she is concerned till she has managed this feat, she is immortal.
Fears:
- Loss of Divinity: Mei fears losing her Divinity again, and while it is a minor fear, it is one that she holds deep inside of her, for the loss of it again would mean the potential for others to lose theirs, those who are her work associates, friends and longtime fellow gods. Such a thing goes against the laws of reality, and frankly makes it where anyone could lose any sort of power at any given time. If too many gods fall then who will be there to fill the gap?
- Destructive tendencies: Mei fears this not because she is afraid of people doing it or anything, no she fears it because those who have this, tend to infect others with it, and try to bring the world to ruin. While it could be said that Mei is a god of destruction to some, it is a natural process that refreshes the earth, the type she fears is the kind that brings nothing but death and doesn’t give anything a chance to grow in its place, and know it’s time under the sun. It is these people who Mei will probably lash out at, over fear that they will take things too far, and attempt to destroy all in their path.
- Animal, Animatronics: it’s not natural, and it’s weird. Many of them have sharp teeth or look like very weird suits, in fact Mei would have all of them exorcised just to be sure. Seriously whoever likes those things are messed up.
