For a Good Cause:

Kai had not been one to suck up to people, or help them for free. But this case was different, he felt like he has proven himself worthy of gaining a rank in the guild. But all of the things in the past have been rather cynical, and he can't walk to the Guildmaster and make those sort of demands to get a higher ranking in the guild with a reputation like that. So in this case, he was not going to have to save up money for a home, but instead, he was going to have to use this job to gain a little glory. As Kai liked to call them however, witnesses. And unlike the passport "job" that he had to take before, this one actually required him to use magic, instead of manipulation. The mind games he played with people eventually grew old, and even he began to notice. So he wad glad that one like this came around.

This time, he was going to Hargeon town, somewhere where he did not have to see the chubby boy who was bullying the normal boy. It seemed that the problem had been solved, that was the way ai had been raised. In Shadelle, what the bully did to the kid would not be tolerated, only one person would be allowed to do that, and it was not even Kai. It was the king of Shadelle, the current ruler, Cain. The mage looked over to the Dreamrail he set of for himself, then jumped up onto the rail. His body swarmed with purple aura and began to ride onto the rail, his mind was creating more rail as he was being pushed by his magic. He made loops and sideloops to make things more interesting on this trip, his first job that paid nothing at all. What fun, at least he gets a little credit though.

The Dreamrail lead him to his destination, perfect, now he was at the hospital he needed to be at. He did not care to find the client right now, it was obvious that his eyes alone gave attention to it. This hospital was terrible, almost no support for those who are sick in it. It seems that the mage was going to have to use his magic to entertain, and once again, he did not have is Dream illusions. But that did not mean he did not have any other partners. There were two, they went by the names, Mirabelle and Niko. they brought the children to the scene, and where there are kids, there are parents. This was a long shot, but it was also his only shot. The hooded mage placed his palm forward, both light and dark magic showing as he was going to summon two "monsters" by his side. It was time to entertain.

Kai then released both of the light and dark dream magic power, and the spell casted out Two dream sheep were made, one of light and one of darkness. Some of the kids around him were witnessing, many of them impressed. Kai decided to encourage them and looked over to them, then pointed over to the sheep. The kids were so excited, they all dragged their parents and took turns to pet the adorable sheep. In the meantime, the mage was making sure to raise money from the adults and make sure they paid a little bit more attention to the hospital, and for once, some people were actually going in! As if it were an actual business, it just needed a little attention, and if this place were careful enough, they can keep the patience happy. It was probably new, and now it had attention. This was so easy, he was happy of the Dream Sheep.

The final touch was done, there was business going on, and Kai expected himself to go in to ay he was the one responsible for the people coming in, it was nice to be praised. But then,he took a second thought and shook his head. What would he expect to gain from that? So instead of trying to impress them, he turned away, the sheep following him. To prevent the children from coming with him, the Dream Sheep shattered back into the dream world, leaving a nice little light show for the kids to enjoy. Kai in the meantime made his getaway from there, the job was done so quickly once again. Now he knew why these were considered D ranking jobs, he was able to shoot this sort of thing down easily. The next time he went, he would use his new C rank magic to embarrass any enemies that were D ranking according to Sabertooth.
