Strange Date.(Izayoi/Alexander: Private)

Izayoi had been up all day trying to decide what to wear, she was kinda confused with her own actions but was happy none the less. She currently found herself standing in front of a mirror, she was wearing a very elegant black dress. It was form fitting and showed of what little curves Izayoi had, which also fed her insecurity. She frowned and cupped her small breasts, "I wonder if he cares?" Izayoi wondered to herself. She sighed to herself and looked at the other dress she had ready, it was red and showed off more than the black one. She sighed and took of the dress, she would wear the red one with a pair of stalkings. She laughed as she realized what she was thinking, she was to small for a bra and here she was going to wear something very much for someone better endowed. She got dressed and started putting on some makeup, she finished and took a step back. She spun in place causing the dresses hem to flair out, her midriff was mostly exposed as was most of her legs. She smiled and blew a kiss at the mirror, "I hope this is not to much." She smiled and moved back to the main room of her workshop, it was almost time for Alex to show up, Izayoi could only hope for the best.

He had no idea what to expect from this, truly. When asked about going "out" by Izayoi previously, he didn't really understand the grander purpose behind it all. What was the deeper meaning or merit behind a simple journey? Obviously, there was something. An ulterior goal or motivation, but that hadn't been discussed. She spoke that in a way that belayed a weight; there was something important about their arrangement, something he didn't understand. He wondered if she noticed that. She probably did, she seemed like a bright woman. At least he hoped, else there be much confusion and frustration. Cloak pulled tight, he traversed towards Izayoi's home, a makeshift chamber within the ruins. Waiting beyond the doorway, he stood silently. It was rude to enter ones abode without proper invitation.

What was the goal today? Was it something with research, perhaps another mission? He sighed softly, shaking his head in a rare show of confusion. This was the nature of his life now; a struggle to understand modern mannerisms and phrase. Yet he couldn't bring himself to state his lack of knowledge. He valued his appearance too much; the admittance of lacking, at least in this case, was not to his advantage. Izayoi did not seem the kingly type, and would likely drop any relations if he didn't prove useful. So he had to keep up the visage. Hopefully he could manage.

Izayoi paced waiting for Alex to show up, she didn't know what she was wondering what she was gonna do. She had not made any plans, she didn't know if she was suppose to. Izayoi moved back to the mirror again and looked at herself, was she under-dressed? She frowned and ran back into her room, she stipped down and changed in something more elagant. She had a memory hit her of some social back in the distant past. She saw herself and many strangers dressed up, dancing and enjoying the night. Izayoi came back to reality, she had tears in her eyes.

"damn it." Izayoi wiped her face and finished dressing. "What was that." She sighed and got dressed again, She was starting to worry she was getting stood up, Alex was late now. Not badly late but enough that she was worried. She didn't like to admit it but she was far more scared of alex then anything. She had no idea why she had done something like asking him out, she was scared of what would happen.

A tender tap on the door frame. How long had he been standing there? The concept of time was loose with Alexander; the ages in solitude, weeks without sight of sun or any indication. He truly had lost most sense to measure it's movement. Had it been minutes, or an hour? Was he late? She had yet to leave the building, was she waiting for him to enter? As usual, questions ticked like clockwork in his head, all his thoughts a constant barrage of answers. He wondered more to himself, lost still in thought in it's entirety. Perhaps he should just enter. It may seem rude, but would be better than the appearance of tardiness.

Stepping forward, he slid through the entrance. He glanced around, noticing nothing immediately. The empty hall, ruins of a previous building. What it was used for before was unknown, any indication faded beyond his perception. He stepped slowly, his motion unheard. Where was she? How far in was he allowed to enter? Was he at all? Once more, the barrage fired off, every action listing multiple more questions. Wandering through the building, he remained silent, more distracted by his thoughts and not entirely paying attention to his surroundings.

Izayoi finally was ready and was about to leave when she heard the to her room door open. She turned to see Alex walk in, lost in thought per usual, she walked over to the man and put her hand on his shoulder, "Hey there, you know its rude to walk into a lady's room unannounced." Izayoi nearly fell to pieces in calling herself a lady. "So you ready to go?" Izayoi was kinda excited for this, she had been looking forward to it for a while now, despite being unsure of her actions. She took Alex's arm and lead him out of the room to the main living room, if you could call that decrepit room that. She was all set to go and so she took the lead, and took them out of her little house. She felt naked and odd in this fancy dress she bought, she also felt naked with her blades, but she would endure. She felt that this was something she should work at and thus she was determined to make it right. She locked her door, not really for any real reason other than habit, and turned to Alex. "Er... well lets go." Izayoi smiled and threaded her arm through Alex's and let him take the lead.

Following Izayoi's lead, Alexander let her lead him outside of the house. In honesty, he was so distracted by his thoughts he wouldn't even have known the way out on his own. When he felt completely comfortable, sometimes he struggled to pay attention to his own surroundings. His mind was truly devoted to research and thought, with little room for anything else. Outside the house however, he noticed the shift, Izayoi looking for him to lead. He hit the first snag. He had no clue what a "date" even was, and was intending to completely follow her lead for the evening. He had to think and act fast.

Walking towards the gates, he took his time, intending to milk every second as he formulated a plan. He still wanted to research much more about the fox siblings, and having a close relationship with Izayoi was a godsend in that regard. He couldn't risk losing any face with her. "So, what were you thinking for the evening? I had a few ideas, but would prefer your input as well." A risky strategy. This way made him seem thoughtful and caring, but would fail entirely if "dates" weren't open ended, or if they were a specific event. Following her dress and lack of weaponry, he assumed it to be formal, but that was all he had going for him.

Izayoi was unsure of this entire situation, she had not dated for over 200 years and that had been a male. She looked at her companion for the night, she knew that Alex was female but was ok with it. She had spiffed up quite a bit, it had been years since she had made any real effort to make herself look good. Most of the time she crawled out of bed and started experimenting, which didn't help with her looks. Today she had even made effort to brush her hair, breaking two brushes in the process but the effort was there. Now here she was hair brushed without any knots in it, she was freshly washed and perfumed, and wearing a brand new dress she had bought for the occasion. She was trying to hide her look of disappointment at the fact Alex had not said she looked pretty or anything like that, but who was she kidding she was just some raggedy tomboy. Izayoi didn't know what alex had planned, but she was ok with just about anything. "So... erm... are we going to dinner or something?" She didn't really know and he was moving quite slow, she wondered if he had set up some elaborate scheme or something.

Was the pace too slow? Alexander felt it was fine personally, but from what others had 'informed' him of, he was the fastest amongst the guild. The opposite in fact. Speeding up slightly, he tried to think of where they were going. She wanted dinner, was that a 'date' formality? He hadn't prepared any food for himself in centuries, let alone have the materials or know where he could gather them. Still, he needed to do something. Leaving the guild's gates, he took her into the surrounding forest, making sure to stick to the paths. "Of course, but I had thought a walk would be good beforehand. We've both been inside all day, so a small trip should help us both." A generic excuse, he hoped it would apply to the situation. For all he knew, a 'date' could be held entirely inside.

He stuck to the path strictly, fearful his desecration would spread if he left it. He didn't want to ruin the view around them, as limited as it might be. This could be a good chance to get more information from her, assuming the following questions were something typical to ask. "Forgive my curiosity, but I must ask, what kind of dates have you been on before? I want to make sure I am meeting standards, at the bare minimum." It was awkwardly phrased and he knew it, but he hoped she wouldn't notice. He needed to appease her at least. Noticing her discomfort with his speed he increased it a little, now moving just approve a brisk walk, a slightly awkward pacing to match.

Izayoi was a bit taken back by his question about her own dates, she looked at the ground and spoke, "i... don't want to talk about it" The last date she had been on the person she was seeing had died, she had been ambushed and captured by the guild she ended up being a slave for. Izayoi squeezed Alex's arm a bit, choking back some tears. she quickened her pace as when Alex did, she just followed his lead for a while before speaking. "My last date was a failure... as he ended up dead..." Thats all Izayoi would say, perhaps she should say more, explain a bit but she couldn't. "I think we should just get some dinner or something, unless you have something planned." Izayoi was kinda at a loss now, she kinda got the feeling he was fishing to find out what she wanted to do, but she was happy just being out and about with him.
