I end up, somehow, with exactly 1200 exp with this. I have slightly over that according to the site. Not sure If I used a limiter on a job and forgot, or if maybe I was awarded bonus exp somewhere along the way. (Had to to a D rank job earlier before this post [escort on a train] as according to the site I would have been .25 exp away from 1200 before it, and would end up with 1224.75 exp after it. Since it's ~25 exp off, I'm believe it's either a guild bonus on something I'm not noticing or a mistake...)

The morning hours around the Lamia Scale Guild hall were quiet as they normally were, the members were slowly getting up, whereas Kihia was already hard at work trying to finish up all of the remaining paperwork before the days normal activities begun. However on this certain morning one member of Lamia Scale would find a note on their door notifying them of a very important mission they had to undertake. Aiyana Shuer would find a letter underneath her door instructing her to head to a trade conference in Ca-Elum, her task would be negotioate against numerous representatives from other nations to procure unique trading options for the entirety of Fiore. At the end of the letter was a foot note simply stating that Kihia would provide anything that she might need for her trip and that the ship leaving to Ca-Elum was due to leave port in two days.

Fair Trade and Guild Missions

Aiyana, not wanting to bother Kihia when she had returned from her trip to another country, had left the contracts and trade options on his desk for him to see the next time he was there. The young woman made sure to remain easily found and available by staying in the guild hall and remaining social.

Kihia walked into his office after returning from some quality time on one of the higher roof tops, it had been a week since the ship to Ca-Elum had departed. He walked a few steps and found a bundle of scrolls on his desk, he then picked them up and unraveled one and quickly read. When he finished he nodded perfectly understanding what was going on, He then placed them into a magic box that then quickly teleported to the Mayors office. Kihia then turned around and walked out of his office and down the stairs into the main hall. Kihia then looked around and then finally spotted her, Kihia walked up to her and did a slight nod in greeting, “Hello Aiyana… I saw that your trip was fruitful…”

The guild, even with all the mages that called it home, was almost boring once she was there for a couple days with nothing special to do. Aiyana was used to going out on jobs, or being given things to do around the place. It was that or going about town to visit taverns, or next door to work for Ean. The young woman had been slowly wandering about the main hall when she noticed the guild master, Kihia, walking towards her. Realizing it was her he was looking for, most likely about the job she had recently done for him, she stopped moving as he nodded in greeting. The mage with the cat eared hat listened to him bring up that very job before she spoke up.

"It was! I was surprised at how fun it all turned out to be in the end as well. I got to do something new, something important, and meet people from other nations while also doing something good for the whole of Fiore. And for once without needing to fight or use my power as a mage."

Aiyana was really proud about that last bit of what she said. With the way the guild jobs were done, it was uncommon for a mage to avoid combat. But being able to do a non-combat job was an honor, and a privilege to her. Sure, one of the contracts had been for weaponry, but good weaponry could go a long way to avoiding senseless violence in the future.

Kihia listened to Aiyana’s response, and after she was done he simply nodded his head and Gestured to the entirety of the Guild. “Here at Lamia Scale… we help young Heroes find their start… the paths they can choose are many… the various kinds of Heroes that can exist are even greater… So the need to keep a lax mind in certain areas is needed… also to be able to leave a good impression… but keep in mind such things may not always go smoothly, there are times where you will have an opponent or rival… who challenges you in the oddest of conflicts… but how you handle it… and how you compose yourself helps you be able to interact with others… and lead on your own path as a Hero…” With these last words Kihia simply smiled before speaking again, “Aiyana, I hereby recognize you as a B Class mage… may your journey in live always be full and your path prosperous!” With these words the various members around them who had stopped to listen had started to congratulate Aiyana for her success…
