Beanstalk Village! As if she wasn't already popular with this place already, now the heroine was heading there to do a much simpler task. Apparently some elderly lady's cat had run away and gotten lost around the village; and now was wanted back at home. It would be her and another mage's job to find, catch, and return the cat to its loving home with Grandma Chu. 'Let's hope the cat is a happy cat. I don't feel like carrying a little ball of claws and temper back to their feline home in my arms.' she thought to herself as the young woman hit the edge of the village.

Finding the right tipi was a simple task, having done this before making it much easier to do, and a quick knock gave the old lady a sign that someone was there. It didn't take long for Granny to open up and come out to speak with her. She was definitely old enough to have the name of 'Grandma' as it said in the job's description. 'Well look at Chu, she looks like a really nice, old, lady,' Aiyana thought to herself as she smiled at the woman before starting to speak.

"I'm one of the two that will be helping find your cat Lady Chu. Me and whomever I'll be with will be sure to find it for you!"

"Why thank you young lady! You don't know how much this means to me. Just please make sure to bring my darling, Lu, back safely for me. And please, start as soon as your partner gets here."

And then the wait for a partner began!

Mei had signed up for this simple mission for one reason, it took place in beanstalk village. Beanstalks were a nice food that could go with salads and the like, and Mei was running low on salad supplies. Sure she had enough chicken and croutons to make anyone jealous, but Mei knew that some magical beans would be the thing to make the salads amazing. Her motivations were so stupidly simple it hurt, but what could you do, that was Mei for you, she just liked to eat food, unlike a certain person who was on this case as well.

Arriving in the village she noted how nice it looked, and how there were beanstalks everywhere. This was promising for her stomach as it there seemed to be an ample supply of her true objective around. Sadly the rest of her venture through the town didn't yield much, in fact you could say she was just distracted by the thought of eating, at least until she got within view of a certain mage.

It was Aiyana, how was it they always ended up going on the same missions? Really it was odd.

"Oh Aiyana you are here too?"

She stated as she approached and the old lady smiled.

"Now you can go and find my little kitty lu, I wish you both luck."

It was not too long of a wait before the one she would be finding the cat with came along. Aiyana almost laughed in response to who it was; Mei. The last job they had been on had been boring almost to the point of tears. Now they were both in beanstalk village to fetch a cat. 'Well, at least we won't have to try and keep from dying of boredom on this job.'

”Yup! Looks like it's us two again! Shouldn't be too hard for us to get a cat and bring it back here!”

Not long after they were told they could go find poor little Lu, the lost kitty of Beanstalk Village. Well, he wasn't really lost. He was just roaming around and was wanted back at home. ”We should split up, cover the village. When one of us finds the cat, get it and we'll meet back at Granny's house to finish this job up.” After finishing her idea of a plan, which was really all they could do when looking for a single animal as two people, she began to walk in one direction and hoped Mei would be okay with the plan.

”Here kitty kitty kitty~” Aiyana made sure to look under tables and around tipis in the hopes that the cat would be found easily. 'Sure hope it didn't finally decide to leave the village, or this job could get hard really fast.

"Sounds like a good idea..."

Splitting up huh? Well, it was just a cat and not a horde of imps, not that one of them couldn't have handled that mission in half a second anyway. Still, it disturbed Mei that finding a cat might be just as difficult as dealing with all of those little buggers, that was depressing. As always she was surrounded by her Miasma just made it invisible is all, and being that she was surrounded in  Miasma her eyesight and senses were incredibly sharp. This kitty would be easier to find then she might suspect, in fact as she wandered through the town, her mouth holding back the small amount of drool in anticipation of having a magic bean, Mei noticed something peeking through a trash can, looked like it was a tail. Could this be the kitty she was after?

Turning invisible in a flash, Mei approached the trash can, only to see the kitty Lu, she could tell by the tag on the collar, trying to find something to eat. Grabbing the kitty as it struggled a bit Mei simply held it in her arms and did the unthinkable. She knew the lady might dislike the smell, but at the very least Mei could make it so the poor thing wasn't hungry. Pulling out a small energy bar, that didn't contain things cat's were allergic to, Mei fed the little thing as she wandered back towards the old ladies home.

Aiyana had traveled a good half of the the village before she realized she had the wrong side of the search. With a sad sigh, the young woman continued to trek through the place until she reached the middle. By now Mei was sure to have found the cat, and who knew if she would catch it on her own without trouble. With that in mind, after a good few minutes of looking up at the massive beanstalk that supposedly led to the village's god, the Lamia Scale mage began to worm her way through the other half to try and catch up to the other girl.

It didn't take that long to find her, and it was a nice surprise to see her holding the cat gently. She was feeding it something, but was unsure as to what it could actually be. The cat seemed to be enjoying the food bar, so Aiyana didn't see any point to worry about the snack. It had been wandering the village for a while, so it had to hungry. ”Good job Mei. Let's bring the cat back and then we can walk back together to get home.” The bandaged mage said this is in a happier voice than what she would have used a mere moments ago. What a simple job! Why couldn't more jobs be like this, instead of asking to stop murderers or save the village, town, or even the whole world?

"Thanks, it wasn't so hard when you can turn yourself invisible, and all the poor guy was is hungry."

Mei felt bad for it since, one it was a cat, and Mei liked cats, and two the thing was hungry, she felt bad when beings were hungry, except fo Aiyana because she was too cheap to actually eat food. Regardless the kitty finished off the bar, and Mei meid her way towards the grandma, but sadly Mei was not in her meid costume. If she had been in her meid costume Mei could have claimed that she was a neko meid, but alas the joke wasn't to be this time.

Approaching the granny, Mei handed her the cat.

"Oh my thank you very much, Lu gets into trouble and I just couldn't find him at all. You gals are life, savers."

"Think nothing of it."

Looking towards Aiyana mei would smile a little bit, an odd gesture considering what she normally did was blush.

"I'll see you back at the guild hall Aiyana, hopefully, next job will be just as easy and helpful."

With that Mei headed off back towards Hargeon town and another adventure!
