Feast! {Job|Chel}

Pein was walking trough the Big gate at the entrance of hargeon town. It was a gate of around 20 feet high made from stone. In the top Hargeon town was written in big fancy letters of gold.  It didn’t surprise him that the city was showing its wealth. Hargeon was a harbor after all and harbors give in loads of money since a lot of trade was being done near them. He could even see sails of the biggest ships above the houses in the distance. Pein was back again in the town. Last time he was here he had to capture a serial killer and bring him back in dead or alive. As he heard the poor man just died when he reached the hospital. Ah well things can happen he was a serial killer anyway. Pein shrugged at the thought and walked through the gate into the city.

Peins white long hair was falling on his shoulders while part of it was flying around in the wind making it a bit messy. He was wearing his usual white sleeveless hoodie and his black army pants with a metal chain on it. Pein walked through the crowd of people that were flooding into the city it seemed it was a market day as a load of people were coming in the city with huge carts that were filled with stuffs like silk and grain. They probably were gone trade it with the sailors and the boat captians for more exotic goods like salt and spice. But he wasn’t for that in the city. Atleast it wasn’t his main reason to be here. Apearently a local tavern owner had problems with some bad customers and pein was here to deal with it.

When he arrived at the job location there was already a brown haired girl waiting near a more older man. They seemed to be going in in the tavern already without him. oh seems I was nearly to late. He knew the girl from seeing her afar passing by in saber tooth guild hall. “wait up I am sorry I am a bit late there so many people out there. Hai I am pein and I am here for the job”, he explained rapidly while following the two in.

Pein looked at the girl and heard how she was called. Tane was the name apparently. It was a pretty uncommon name but a nice one tough. Pein followed the man further into the restaurant and leaned against a table. “I am from sabertooth nice to meet you fellow guild member. Apparently we just need to protect this place. A easy enough job.  We should try to find a good position to protect this place”, pein said to tane in a way a person speaks to their comrades. The owner didn’t speak fluent English but pein himself had a slight german accent in his speaking. So it didn’t really annoy him at all.

The bar wasn’t that usual as the normal go in hargeon or other city’s in fiore. The tables were much lower and there were no chairs. It were more long couches you could sit on. The pillows were all made of red linen and on the wals big paintings of mountains and birds and flowers were drawn. It looked realy fancy and decorated. On pillars around the place were little statues placed. If they would fight in this room they would break a couple of things so they better take the bandits out before they reach the inside and mess up the place. They probably wouldn’t be payed a lot on this job if they damaged much of the place. Although hikari would have loved to blow this place up. a slight smile came on his lips as he thought of the ruckus she would cause in such a nice place as this.

He brought his attention to the people working in the bar already. Maybe there were people here that weren’t all that holy in what they were doing. But all the Chinese looking young lady’s seemed to be very decent and gentle looking. None of them really looked like they would steal the place.

“maybe it’s better if we take a look outside. We don’t want to bother your customers after all. Or tane do you have any other opinion in how to deal with this. ”, pein asked to his partner trying to seek out how she fights and how she is as a person.

'Monster Dice' :

Pein listened to the girl as she was explaining that she found it nice to be on a same job as a sabertooth member. Pein was pretty happy to that he didn’t had to assess his partners guild to be sure they would be good. If she was in saber she would be from a good standard to fight next to. He listened to her plan and thought about it for a moment. It did seem like a good plan. Although being alone could have some bad parts to. But they wouldn’t know it if they didn’t try it. Pein went the outside the door and went to the right side of the tavern. He hated to walk to the side of a tavern. There always dudes that have peed here so it’s dirty as hell. Tough that he is not that afraid of pee and puke and poop. Oh yeah drunk people would poop to here. So disgusting pein tought as he walked past it. the stench was nearly unbearable. Pein came around the corner and walked to the spot they would meet and then walked back. When he arrived back on the entance he saw that the girl was looking farther in the distance where a couple of guys were walking. Pein smelled the faul stanch of people who were not good. It seems he had to call justice on them. He zoomed in with his eyes and three of them were wearing more expensive clothes then the five others that were walking with them. Those were all very dirty and cheap. Pein looked at the girl and started to explain. “lets beat those small guys first and then kill off the big ones.”, pein said calmly to her. “Hey you guys there. You smell like you did some naughty stuff. Its time to serve justice on you. Who ever break the law shall die by my hands.”, pein shouted loud to the bandits. He spit on the ground and stood ready to jump forward. People around the street were running away. The time for battle was started.

Pein looked at the girl and tought if he should follow her plan or not. He knew that the bigger ones were more effective to take out but why should you bother fighting both of them seperatly if you could take them down at the same time. It seemed his partner was a summoner. Just like his father it seems. He remembered the cat girls he kept summoning after they defeated his old demon boss him and his love. That was a good fight. to bad this one will not even compare to that one. He shrughed his shoulders and dropped his cape on the ground. It was time to get to buisniss and capes were dangerous in battle.

Since his partner was keeping the enemy off him he had time enough to prepare for his part in the fight. he placed his hands on the ground and pushed his feet hard back ward againt the paves of the road. With a hard push he started to sprint away. Because of his demon strength 2 small craters were left behind were he had placed his feet. He was running as fast as he could. Just before he was going to crash into the wall of the house he pulled his legs in and made big jump upwards. After reaching the top of his jump he started falling down again. He moved his body forwards so that he would land on the roof. His feet crashed into the roof and the roof tiles shattered under his strength. He pulled his legs out of the holes and started running jumping over gaps. He didn’t let the bandits go out of his eye sight for a second.

When he finaly was horizontal aligned to them from his partners perspective he was standing on the place he wanted to be. He dropped to his hands and feed and grabbed as tight as he could. He opened his mouth and a magic circle appeared. Out of it a twisting stream of water shot out as the sound of a screaming demon succubus was heard over hargeon. The windows in the whole block shattered from the sound alone. The stream was flying on a alarming lane and collided with the the bandids before they could react. The three weak bandits were hit by the stream and pushed back wards smashing into one of the big guys. All four of them slammed into the wall. While the weak bandits flesh was being cut off and big holes in the bodys appeared where the stream hit. The big guy however was still standing and crawled out of the gap in the wall throwing the bodies of his friends off him. pein smiled as a bit of water dripped of his mouth. That was a good start.

Pein got up while roof tiles fell down as he pulled his claws out of the roof he smiled. He had hit the army very hard and he was very proud of it. its not like they were that strong of an enemy anyway. They didn’t had magic and they were with so little. Nothing a demon can’t beat. He didn’t really care for the random damage. As long as he beats the enemies it would be good. It was cool to see how his magic has ripped up their bodies like some ragdolls. It seemed his partner didn’t only had summons but also some kind of light magic. It seemed they got blinded a bit and were walking confusing around. Pein jumped down the roof and started to spring towards them. He wouldn’t use magic anymore for a bit it wasn’t needed for these. He slides under a kick from one of the bandits when he came close and jumped on his hands and kicked the guy in the groin. He then grabbed his arm and punched him on the throat. He then dodged a kick from the other guy and moved behind him.

He then came close to the other guy and head-butted him in the face. Breaking his nose after that he stomped the nose bone right into the mans skull killing him off. he got hit in his back and felt a slight pain on his right side as he fell on one knee. The air was pushed out of his lungs. Damn that was never good. He rolled over and got out of reach of the bug guy who missed his next punch. Pein threw dirt from the ground in to the other guys eyes. He walked back wards as he was hit by it and was trying to rub it out. Pein jumped forward and grabbed him by the waist and crashed into the wall together with him. pein took a brick next to him and kept smashing the mans face till it was reduced to blood pulp. That was another one down. He looked around for more enemies.

Pein licked the blood of the enemy of his hand but spitted it out because of the vile taste it had. They were not worthy to be added to his collection. He wiped of the blood with a teared of piece of cloth from the thugs shirt. It was not like he would need that shirt anymore anyway. Pein walked back to his partner who kinda looked shocked or atleast a bit weirded out. Maybe they don’t have a stomach for violence. Pein shrugged and walked back to stand next to thane guarding the place they had to protect.

It was pretty silent for a while. Pein wasn’t realy the talking kind and he was just watching the calm road and city. Altough there were a lot of people around the wall gap to ge the bodies out of the street. Maybe he should hire some people to do that for him when he goes out on a job in the city. Ah well they got there deserved justice. Pein cracked his shoulder of boredom  till he heard his partner speak. About the big fire thing next to her. It was looking rather cold at him. pain was trying to not be to close to the fire being as it was rather dry to him. his water wouldn’t fare well and he may like extinguish the being and that would give some trouble to. “well nice to meet you it is indeed pretty warm. It seems well be standing for a while here mind if I get some food.”, pein said as a idea popped in his head. He took out a small stick and some sausages and pinched them on the stick and holded them close to the summon to let them fry. He was happy he could eat soon. He hoped the spirit wouldn’t mind to much that he was doing this. “well do you want one too. There made of the best rhinocows in fiore. There pretty rare to.”, he said to thane and crouched against the wall. He tasted of the sweet juice meat and enjoyed the bright day of waiting.

Pein smiled for a split second as it seemed his partner had gotten a good taste and appreciated the meat. Pein took a siggy out and lighted it with the creature before he went back to his side. He leaned against the wall and blew out the smoke trying to find some comfort. He was kind of feeling bad. He missed his hikari and wondered where she was now. As he was dreaming of her blue pony tails people were walking in and out. The Chinese owner suddenly stood next to him and put a board in his hand with free coffe for each pie written on it. so it seems he became advertiser during this job. He kinda hated body guard jobs but it was good money he supposed. He would be glad once it was over tough. He looked around and could see shadows running trough the little streets around the building. He sniffed in the air and looked around. There were people around. People with bad means.

He jumped up the roof and walked more up. he could see over hargeon all the little roofs and flags and laundry hanging out. It was a very nice view. He should bring hiki to here one time. He wondered if he would find any thugs here. He saw a lot of movement of groups with boxes running trough the street towards the place he was guarding. Something was ammis. It seemed the big fight was just away. What they only took out was the scout party of the tugs. He jumped down the roof again and made people that were coming to hurry inside the building. He threw the doors close and shouted to thane. “Border everything up a big group of enemies Is coming to this place. Seems we have a raid on our hands.”, pein shouted and he started to put anything he could find in front of windows and doors so that nobody could climb in the building. He then went to the front of the bulding and threw his arms behind him to stretch out. He was ready to fight.

Pein looked at the tavern as it was all border up. now no enemy would get inside to hurt the customers he thought. It seemed thane was done with her side to and she summoned her fiery beast again. Pein walked back to her instead of keeping standing still like a silly ass. It seemed the new enemies were already waiting in front of the tavern. Two man clad in armor like some tank were standing in front of two more well-dressed persons that had monocles and a walking stick. It seemed like they were some rich boys sons. He could feel a magical presence around the area. “watch out those puntys back has magic powers probably thane. Let’s try to deal with them first before we go for the armored dudes. There slow anyway so try to dodge them. Keep up to my pace and well win this for sure.”, pein said as he jumped from one feet to the other like a trained boxer ready to strike fast and deadly. He then ran forward while the mages in the back started to chant spells. Seems these mages had looked a bit to much to movies and aren’t up for a real mage fight. He started to go criss cros to make them wander where he’ll show up next.

While they were chanting the body guards dropped their large shields and throbbed there spears down to defend. Like phalanx they were defending the two in the back. He made notion to attack on off them and jumped at them. The bodyguard tried to hit him with his spear by punching it forward. Pein calmly went past the spear and jumped towards the man who pulled his shield up. the mage was just done casting its spell and threw a stream of  fire at him. pein punched himself off the shield in the air and started to spin around in water. On the front of the stream a demon head appeared. He flunked forward on top speed right into the mage cutting through his legg he spun around and smashed into the arm of the man next and on his last trip back he plunged through its stomach killing the man off while blood flew around. He got spun around coming out of its spell. Pein felt dizzy as the spell went so cravingly fast.

'Monster Dice' :

Pein was pleased he atleast took one guy out. Because he was in his water form he didn’t get a splash of blood on him. He jumped back wards as he saw his partner throwing spells to the enemy. He cursed a bit inside as he was nearly hit by them. He cursed a bit inside but didn’t mind to much. It was not like he would catch fire anyway. But still he was kind of attached to his clothes and he didn’t wanted to lose them by some fire. The girl had done some damage to the guardians to and they were running away. But pein didn’t want that. he was kind of annoyed by these thugs and they had to die for justice. Pein ran to them while the other mage was screaming as he was burning alive. Just when he reached the first guardians back a big explosion blew behind him with a big fiery mushroom. Pein got pushed forward for a small amount.

But pein ignored it and jumped forward. The guard still all confused by the explosion and thanes spell got surprised as pein appeared behind him. he grabbed the mans skull and put a foot on his shoulder and started to pull. With his demon strength he pulled out the head and its spine. He grabbed the spine and started to swing the head around. After spinning it fast enough he released it and threw it towards the other guard the spine swung so fast is it was as sharp as a blade. It hit the back legs of the man and cutted of both of them. He fell down screaming as he was hurting as hell. Pein walked closer and grabbed the man up. he dragged him to the street border and put his mouth open over it. “justice is served.”, pein said calmly and crushed his heel on the mans head splitting its skull open on the street border. Pein smilled as they probably were done now. No one would be foolish enough to dispute them again. Pein fell down next to the man and lighted a sigy.

Pein blew smoke out of his mouth as he was finishing up his smoke. It seemed his partner had disappeared from his view. He wondered what happened. Maybe he should go check if everything was fine. He jumped on his feet making a soft sound and started to walk towards the tavern but she wasn’t in the front of the building. Maybe in the back he thought to himself and he walked through the stinky alley again. He should wash himself in a bit he was covered in blood. He over extended his shoulder a bit as he was feeling a sort of sharp pain in his arm. he bounced again the wall but pushed himself off again. He was still a bit dizzy from the spell he had used earlier and he had difficulties trying to walk straight.

Pein saw the tane standing behind the building. It seemed she was okay but her face was a bit red. He wondered what happened. He came closer and put his hand up in greeting. He wished hikari was here to take care of the girl. He didn’t really know what to do and he didn’t realy wanted to take care of a human. The only human he cared for was his hikari. He shrugged to the thought as it wasn’t completely his but a bit more of his demon side

He pushed it to the side and started talking. “I took the last couple ones out. I heard the other ones running away. It seemed they got scared from our fighting. We did a good job today they didn’t even touch the place and we got justice for the owner. Humpf people should follow the rules more. But how are you faring. You suddenly disappeared from the place. Are you alright, no injuries I hope.”, pein said calm and calculated like he would after a meal or anything else. nothing pointed out that he just had massacred a group of people. Since for him he was just doing the world good. He looked questioningly to the girl in expectation of a answer.

It seemed she was alright. Still very red tough but he guessed it was just a girl thing. He listened further to her speaking over how she send her summon away since they wouldn’t needed it anymore. Ah well he wanted to know a bit more about it but if she was gone send it away who was he to defy her. He sat down on the porch of the back of the place. He took another big breath of his smoke and blew the white smoke out of its nose. on that moment the owner came out and was shouting and cursing in its Chinese language. He didn’t really understand much of it. he took a slow breathe of his cigarette again and laid down on the pavement with his hand behind his head as he let the guy rage on. He didn’t really care. But he didn’t hurt people that were legal so he was calm. He would have killed the man If he knew he did anything bad since it was so un fair to argue against them when they just saved the place of total destruction. Some people would never be happy if you done something good for them.

The man went back inside and tane started to speak again. Yeah she was right this job was nearly ending. All in all it was pretty okay job. He slacked more off then he actually had to fight. and even the fights were more relaxing then really nerving or anything like that. well that was better then that he had a hard time in fight and nearly dyeing he stretched out and looked back to thane who was talking about the people in the guild she knew. “ah you met my second half then. Hikari is my girlfriend. She is such a sweet girl. Likes to blow up a lot of stuff has a short temper against the enemy. But she’s so sweet and nice. You probably had a very good job with her then. Well I had a lot of fun with you to I hope ill se you more around in the guild. If you see hikari ill probably will be in the neiberghood to.”, pein said excited.
