    Myra's C to B rank Exam Empty Re: Myra's C to B rank Exam

Darkness, the only thing within vision as a small bright ray of light illuminated within the vicinity. A pair of blue, alluring orbs gently revealed themselves as they were previously masked behind the slightly tanned eyelids. Those eyelids slowly lifted but at the sight of bright light, retreated to their resting position briefly before lifting once again, attempting to adjust to the light. Once comfortable, the glistening blue irises gently glared at the window through which sunlight peered into the dimly lit room.

A soft, yet tired groan filled the air as the source; a female, lifted her parallel body into a seating position. Her hand lifted and scratched the messy ponytail styled hair which shamelessly loosened letting strands of pink hair fall onto her face. With a defeated sigh, expressing a hint of annoyance, she moved to her right, letting her bare legs dangle off the wooden bed which took up majority of the room’s area. Lifting herself off of the comfortable and soft surface, she let her feet meet the cold, hard ground on which she walked and headed towards the glass window. She squinted her eyes as the sunlight threatened to blind her and grabbed the pale blue curtains before yanking them shut.

Suddenly, the lights flickered on and her gaze traveled to the switch board which stood next to the door. The wooden door stood open and leaning into the frame was a tall familiar figure, “Good, you’re awake. I was just about to come do that myself.”

The female groaned, “I hate mornings. You know that Senshi, then why are you so hell-bent on waking me up so early?” Her British accent held a playful tone of annoyance to which the man, Senshi softly chuckled. This was one attitude he never displayed to anyone other than his master, the female. “I’m aware.” His expression went from playful and amused to serious, “But this time it’s something serious Myra.”

This caught Myra’s attention as he walked towards her and handed her a piece of paper, “Read it.” And so she did. Her eyes glanced onto the black words staining the white sheet. “Oh.” Was all she could utter. Astonished at the content of the letter, she couldn’t help but feel proud to be the one chosen to accomplish such a dangerous task. She grinned as she held Senshi’s stare, “Well, we have somewhere to go.”

It didn’t take long for the female to dress up and head towards the guild hall along with Senshi. Her attire simply consisted of a pair of black skinny jeans tucked inside her brown combat boots. A loose gray sleeveless shirt covered her upper body as her hair was simply tied into a ponytail. Her hand lifted and grazed over the large doors that led to the infamous guild known as Black Rose.

Gently pushing the large object, she watched as it creaked and let the sun’s light peek into the large guild halls. The guild hall was as usual filled with people. Confusion erupted through the female’s head, unsure of where to find this man that she was told to capture. A few greeting headed her way as she politely returned them. Not knowing what to do now, she did what she thought would be best, waited.

The day ran speedily as the night took over the atmosphere, the moon spreading its glory onto the land. The previously full and jolly guild hall now appeared lifeless in the darkness which ruled the area, not allowing any of the moon’s glorious radiance seep in. A fear of disruption spread through the female’s veins as she stood utterly quiet. The silence was alluring. Not wanting to disturb the quiet, she stood silently, until she heard a loud crash.

A small yelp escaped her lips as she darted her eyes towards the source; which happened to be the person other than herself. He looked at Myra with a sheepish smile while scratching the back of his neck and letting out a nervous chuckle. “Senshi.” She said in a warning tone. He only looked at her before carefully shrugging, “Uh, sorry.” Myra simply shook her head and reverted her gaze towards the floor as she fell into deep thought.

Another creaking sound echoed through the silent guildhall, making the pink haired female exhale a sigh, “Senshi, stop messing around.” She warned her partner by throwing a glare towards him, only to find him standing there unmoving, with a rather serious expression on his face, “Myra… we’re not alone.” Those words were enough to alert the youthful individual as her blue hues darted towards the only object that had the ability to initiate a creaking sound; the door.

Her heart beat quickened as her moist palms rubbed against the skin of her black jeans. A drop of sweat rolled down her forehead before reaching the edge of her chin and fell onto the ground, exploding into just a small splash. Myra’s blue orbs scanned the black silhouette figure that emitted from the darkness and seemed like a mere shadow due to the moonlight. She gazed upon him, figuring that he had on a large coat along with a hat. He raised his hands and a clapping sound echoed along the sounds of rigid breaths.

A bitter laugh, filled with amusement and recognition as well, flooded the air, “Well, well. Long time no see Myra. Didn’t expect to see you here.” These two sentences brought together the female’s eyebrows as she stared in utter confusion, “Do you know this man, Myra?” Senshi’s concerned voice filled her ears. The trespasser’s voice was modified, as if someone was using a voice modification device to deepen their voice. Not being able to recognize his voice, she shook her head, “I don’t think so.”

His hand lifted yet again, but this time was placed on the left area of his chest; above his heart, “You wound me, so bad.” His tone was mocking yet it refused to erase the ounce of confusion her blue hues held, “Anyways, you of all people cannot stop me from destroying Black Rose.” A humorless chuckle escape his unseen lips, “You’re simply too weak.” His bluntness and nerve to underestimate the female’s power was rather nerve-wrecking. The female felt herself clenching her fists,

    “We’ll see who wins.”

She raised her hands, which were solely surrounded by pink aura. Insulting her hurt her pride, thus making her angry. Moreover; he was here for the sole purpose of destroying her guild, the place she considered home. His dark figure looked like a show underneath the moonlight as he raised his hands parallel to the ground with his elbow area, slightly bent. He slowly moved forward as his hands suddenly erupted into flames. Black flames, to be exact.

“Sound waves” A pair of purple sound waves escaped the female’s hands, but not heading towards the trespasser but instead heading towards the wooden tables on each side of the large hall. The spell showed its wonders by lifting the wooden objects and as the female pressed her hands together, the two wooden objects that the sound waves carried too came together crashing into the man.

Silence filled the room indicating victory of the female. But was it possible for such an arrogant man to be defeated this easily? He seemed confident in his abilities, making the female sure that he wasn’t defeated, not yet at least. It were as if the he were waiting for the female to hit realization when suddenly the area around him—and the tables- exploded. The female shut her eyes, shielding her blue orbs from the explosion. When she opened them again, she saw Senshi in front of her protecting her from the furious explosion. She moved to the side and looked from behind Senshi as she gazed upon the tables which were burning furiously on the trespasser’s either side.  At this rate, the guild would burn down eventually.

As if Senshi read her mind, in mere seconds he stood taller than he was, as he had now transformed into his original form-- his dragonoid form. Instantly he flew towards the stranger, clearly catching him off guard and led him outside and far away from Black Rose. The pink haired female knew not where Senshi took but within minutes, the dragonoid had returned and grabbed her before flying out again. The female mage let out a surprised yelp at the sudden action but soon relaxed in his arms. Moments later, he gently put her down. Looking ahead, she gulped at the sight of the trespasser, who seemed pretty pissed off at Senshi’s action. His figure was much more visible now. His fair skin peeked through the long neck of the coat, and the think material of the hat, revealing nothing but his blue eyes, only a shade darker than Myra’s. She looked him in the eye, and felt a feeling of fear jolt through her body. Not knowing why, she ignored it and focused ahead.

The man was clearly not as entertained from this fight as he had hoped. Maybe he wanted to fight inside the guild hall—so that he could kill Myra off and at the same time, fulfil his purpose which was to destroy Black Rose. He planned to kill two birds with one stone.

The female positioned herself in a battle stance as she stared at her opponent. In the blink of an eye, he disappeared from his position and instead stood right before her. Without a moments hesitation, she placed her his hand a few meters away from her torso and launched a fireball of pure black flames, not giving Myra enough time to react. Her body went flying backwards and hit a tree.

She let out a groan as her torso; the place where she had gotten hit, burnt. She hissed in pain as she tried to get up. She couldn’t afford losing. Now that she was on her feet, she looked ahead to see Senshi, facing the unknown trespasser. Her breath hitched as she watched the heated battle amongst them. Senshi flew in the air and used his signature spell, which caused the small rocks around to erode away and any man in that situation would’ve been sent flying, but not him. He stood firmly on the ground, seemingly unaffected by the dragonoid’s attempt. This enough told the female that he was strong, much stronger than her and Senshi combined.

Before she had the chance to order Senshi to stop, her eyes widened as the man let loose an avalanche of fire, directly towards Senshi. The female got up and ran towards her friend and partner who fell from the sky, now I human form. His clothes were tattered and burnt. His skin had burn marks all over it and when he fell onto the ground, blood seeped through his body. Myra reached his body, immediately checking his pulse. Tears prickled her eyes as she felt the low pulse rate his body was giving off. Senshi tried to muster a smile. The only words he spoke were, “Sorry.” And then, he drifted off into darkness.

The female sat there, her eyes wide open, staring at the lifeless body of Senshi, a partner and more importantly a friend whom she had trusted. Tears brimmed and flowed from her sockets as her heart ached from the pain of losing yet another beloved one. The sadness was replaced with anger as her ears caught the sound of laughter. Her fists clenched as she immediately felt the hatred and fury seep through her body. “So pathetic. That’s the kind of members Black Rose has.” A bitter laugh escaped his lips.

The female dried her tears before lifting up and turning to face her opponent, “You’re a monster.” She growled before letting her magical energy loose and launching herself towards her enemy. She raised her fist to punch him but he swiftly dodges and raised his own leg to counter attack. Myra stopped in her track and she too raised her left leg, watching both their legs clash. A jolt of pain seeped through her shin but she ignored it and continued. He raised his fist and managed to land a hit in her abdomen. Her eyes widened in pain and shock as she grabbed his coat and yanked it. Her body clashed against the floor with a cloth covering her. She quickly removed the black cloth and stood up.

Her eyes gazed upon the figure in front of her, who now stood coatless and hatless. Her eyes widened, “No.” She whispered to herself, “This can’t be.” A smirk made its way onto the man’s face. “So you finally remember me.” Her mind travelled back in time.

She stood there, frozen. The small pink haired child stood there, her eyes wide in horror as she stared at the scene before her. Her heartbeat accelerating along with each passing second. She hesitantly looked down at her feet, which were soaking in crimson blood. Her scared, blue orbs raised up to see a man, with black hair, much different than her own and blue eyes, a shade darker than her own. Their facial structures looked alike but the young girl at that moment, feared him. He stood there with a sword clasped firmly in the palm of his hand. The blade was stained with blood. In front of him lay the lifeless bodies of the girl’s family. Her mother, once a beautiful woman with long luscious pink hair, which the girl had inherited – and her father who had pitch black hair which two of her brothers inherited—one of whom laid on the ground, his eyes wide open and lifeless. She hesitantly looked at the maniac with the sword, “B-brother.” Her brother, named Dylan, turned his attention to her with a sadistic smile on her face, “You’re next Myra.”

Myra shook her head slightly as she snapped out of her daze. From another person’s point of view, she must have looked like a scared child. Her skin was paler and her body very lightly shook as she gazed into his eyes. “D-dylan.” His eyes darkened as he looked at her, “You survived that time, Myra, but not this time.” Something in his voice sent shivers down Myra’s spine. She felt goosebumps rise on her skins. She regained her composure and stood in a battle stance once again. She refused to show fear within herself. Her battle stance immediately took over as her hatred towards him increased. He, yet again, killed another one of the people she loved. “If I’m going down, I’m dragging you to hell with me.” She was surprised at how confident she sounded.

She immediately launched herself towards him which he managed to dodge. After multiple tries, she was tired and beat. She knew that she couldn’t defeat him and yet she refused to give up. She panted as blood dripped down her forehead. “Tired already?” Knowing that the only option she had was to trick him. “Power of harmony.” Her voice was barely a whisper. She raised her hands and aimed it towards her own brother. The sound waves hit him and he immediately calmed down. He didn’t attack her . Instead he just stood there with a smile on his face. Knowing that her spell would not last long, she did the only thing that came to her mind. He slowly made her way towards her, and stopped until he was right in front of her. She could feel the effect wearing off. “Magical Sphere.” A large pink sphere captured the two. He was slowly snapping out of his daze. “Xiolan. Do it. Now.” AT her command, the evil angel which appeared seconds ago, stared at Myra with her red eyes before nodding slightly.

The evil angel launched towards the two. Myra closed her eyes, knowing what would happen next, “What the fu-“ His sentence was cut short by the shattering of the sphere. An unbearable pain shot through her torso as she coughed out blood. She slowly and dizzily opened her eyes to meet a shocked expression of Dylan. Like herself, his eyes were widened. He looked down and her gaze followed meeting the pale arm of Xiolan which pierced through them both.

Xiolan, with force, retracted her hand and blood flooded the vicinity. A sad smile placed on the female’s face as her enemy fall onto the ground face first. She tried to stand and failed. Her eyes gazed upon Xiolan who slammed her foot onto Dylan’s head. Tears prickled her eyes as she coughed once again, blood escaping her lips. It was then that she fell. Her eyes flooded with tears. She lay there in a pool of blood, watching darkness near her. Instead of wanting to live, she smiled, “Thank you Black Rose.” And with that, she fell into a pool of darkness, with tears escaping her moist eyes and staining her pale, lifeless face.
